Skills Required: Beginner. You should have experience with decoupage if you want to try this project – especially to prevent wrinkles in the printed photos.

I don’t know about you, but when I think Halloween party, I think moody lighting. Give me flickering candles, spooky shadows, and just a hint of creepy glow and I’m all in.

So when I suddenly found myself hosting an impromptu Halloween get-together (why do we agree to these things so fast?), I knew I needed a quick centerpiece – and fast.

That’s how these DIY spooky candle holders came to life.

I hit up the thrift store with no real plan, and ended up grabbing a few mismatched glass vases for less than a dollar each. I didn’t know exactly what I was going to do with them until I remembered an old trick using Mod Podge and vintage photos.

Add a little spray paint, poke out some creepy glowing eyes (sorry, Victorians), and boom . . . instant haunted vibe.

What I love about these is how easy they are to personalize. You can make a whole set in an afternoon, and they look amazing lined up on a table, a mantle, or even tucked into a bookshelf.

And because they use electric tealights, they’re safe to leave glowing all night long.

If you need fast Halloween decor with major spooky charm, and you don’t mind giving a few antique portraits a haunted makeover . . . this one’s for you.

Gather These Supplies

• Glass jars or vases
• Vintage photos printed on laserjet
• An awl (I believe that’s the official name – I tend to call it “that pointy thing that I don’t know why I have or where it came from”). A toothpick, craft knife or anything sharp would work
• Black spray paint
• Matte Mod Podge
• Electric tea lights
• Scrap wood
• Paintbrush
• Scissors

I did discover that on a few of them I needed to elevate my tealight just a bit to get the maximum glowing eye effect – a chunk of wood did the trick (painted black of course).

Now I just need a few other things, some mood lighting, food . . . oh! and a costume. Then I’m good to go!

Spooky Candle Holders

Ingredients

• 4 Glass jars or vases
• Vintage photos printed on laserjet
• 1 can Spray paint black
• Mod Podge Matte
• Electric tea lights
• Scrap wood

Instructions

• Choose four jars of varying sizes and styles. Wash with mild soap and water or rubbing alcohol and let dry.
  
• Spray paint each glass jar with a coat of black spray paint and let dry.
  
• Choose vintage photos to fit the containers and resize to fit. Print and cut with the scissors to fit the vases.
  
• Before attaching the photos to the vases, use the awl to poke out the eyes.
  
• Use Mod Podge to attach the pictures to the candle holders. Spread the Podge on the vase, a thin layer on the back of the picture, and then smooth them together. Repeat until all holders are covered and let dry.
• Use the awl to clean up the eye sockets on each image, simultaneously scratching the paint off underneath so the light can shine through.
  
• Apply a coat of Mod Podge to each container and let dry completely before using.
  

Notes

Step 3: A quick Google search for “spooky Victorian photos” quickly provided tons of possibilities. I downloaded a good selection and resized them to fit my vases.

Then I printed them out with a laserjet printer so they wouldn’t bleed when Mod Podged. This took some measuring and trimming, but it was quick work.

Step 4: My apologies to the Victorian people in these photos for poking out their eyes. I’m sure you were very nice and it’s just the long exposure times and a distinct lack of moisturizer that makes you look a bit scary these days.

Step 5: To keep things moving, I did one side of each vase at a time. By the time I’d done the fourth vase, the first one was dry enough to do another side without risking messing up the part I’d already done.

• • If you’re in a hurry, stick with straight sided vases. I like the tapered shapes I used, but trimming things to fit slowed me down a bit.
  • Glass vases are easy because of the varied sizes and shapes, but you could use PVC pipe, cardboard tubes – pretty much anything.
  • I think electric lights are a must for this. Not because it’s much of a fire or heat danger just because you don’t have to think about them as the evening goes on.
  • For maximum glowy eye effect, try to keep all the eyes on roughly the same level for each jar. I got lucky and did it by accident. If you have some pics where the eyes are down low and some where they eyes are up high, they won’t glow evenly.

There’s just something about a tiny pumpkin with a funny face that makes me ridiculously happy. Maybe it’s because they’re cute.

Maybe it’s because they don’t require scooping out pumpkin guts. Either way, these DIY pumpkin magnets are my new favorite fall craft!

They’re made from little wood squares painted bright orange, with nail “stems” (yes, real nails!) and twisty green wire vines.

Add a printed pumpkin face on the front, seal it all up with Mod Podge, and you’ve got yourself a fridge accessory that says, “Yes, I take Halloween seriously… but also, I like to have fun.”

The best part is how customizable they are. You can make your pumpkins sweet, spooky, or downright goofy – whatever makes you smile every time you reach for the milk.

I’ve included a free printable of pumpkin faces, but you can also use scrapbook paper, stickers, or your own hand-drawn creations.

They’re quick to make, which is dangerous because before you know it, you’ll have a whole little pumpkin patch ready to decorate every magnetic surface in your house. They also make fun gifts for friends, teachers, or anyone who needs a little Halloween cheer.

So grab your Mod Podge, some paint, and your pumpkin personality of choice – these magnets are ready to bring a little fall magic (and maybe a few giggles) to your kitchen.

Pumpkin Magnets

Ingredients

• Wood pine trim 1 1/2" x 1/4" thick
• Acrylic paint orange, green
• Paint pen(s) black, white
• Magnets 3/4”(1 per pumpkin)
• Mod Podge Gloss
• Pumpkin face art (free printable)
• Nails
• Jewelry wire for stem

Instructions

• Cut your wood trim down to 1 ½” squares using the table saw.
  
• Using the drill, pre-drill a hole in the top of each wood square for your nail to go into.
  
• Using the hammer, gently tap the nails into the holes you just drilled, to create stems.
  
• Using the pliers, bend the nails over slightly to bend the stems.
  
• Paint the edges of the wood with the orange paint. You can also paint one side (which will be used as the back). Let dry.
  
• Paint the nails either by using a brush or dipping the nail into the green paint. Let dry. Add the wire now by cutting off a length of green jewelry wire, then wrapping around the stem.
  
• Print the pumpkin faces out on a laserjet printer. Cut out with scissors.
  
• Apply Mod Podge to the front of a wood square. Smooth down the pumpkin face carefully. Using a brush, wipe away any Mod Podge that comes out the edges.
  
• Repeat with the pumpkins and set aside to dry completely.
  
• Seal the tops of the pumpkin faces with Mod Podge. Let dry.
  
• Add details to the face – like teeth and eyes – with a white paint pen. I also did a large white dot, black dot, and then smaller white dot inside some of the eyes. Let dry.
  
• Seal over the top of the paint pens and pumpkin faces with Mod Podge. Let dry.
  
• Add magnets to the back. Let dry completely before using.
  

Notes

Step 1: you can also use a hand saw. I just used spare pieces of wood trim I had in the garage.

Step 13: I had adhesive magnets – they are so nice!

There are few things I love more on this earth than Halloween season. I call it a “season” because it’s not just a day for me. It’s an entire experience.

Skills Required: Beginner. If you’ve never worked with fabric stiffener before, it isn’t hard but it can be a little bit messy. You might want to try a smaller ghost first with a small piece of cheesecloth before making something larger.

I’m REALLY excited about today’s Halloween craft. If you’ve never made a cheesecloth ghost (also known as a Stiffy ghost) before, you need to stop whatever you’re doing right now.

Do not “pass Go,” do not collect $200 – it’s time to head to the craft store! You’re going to need only a few supplies to make this awesome Halloween decor.

For those new to fabric stiffener, it’s a pretty simple premise. Whatever you dip into the stiffener becomes “stiff” when dry. That includes cheesecloth, fabric, and other lightweight materials.

That doesn’t mean your finished item is totally rock hard, but it’s pretty solid and can support itself. Just like this Halloween ghost.

The key to any project with fabric stiffener is creating a solid mold (otherwise known as an armature) that you can drape the fabric or cloth over.

You’re going to wet the fabric with the stiffener, then hang it over the mold. The mold needs to be able to retain its shape until the stiffener is dry.

In this case once the ghost is dry, you can remove the mold. Then your ghost stands on its own! And that’s the basic premise.

I will walk you through it, but understand that you can use this idea to make cheesecloth ghosts any size you like. Ideally you could make one as large as a person if you could make the mold big enough (please don’t use a real human).

There are four basic steps to this Stiffy ghost project. You’re going to make your mold, cut and wet the cheesecloth, drape it over the form (let dry), and then remove the mold to finish.

You can add glow in the dark paint or eyes and mouth when all is said and done if you like. I find it makes the ghost more kid friendly somehow. However you want to decorate it, I’ll leave that up to you!

Gather These Supplies

• Cheesecloth – I bought a pack from Hobby Lobby that was 6 yards x 36″ wide
• Mod Podge Stiffy
• Aluminum foil
• Wax paper
• Styrofoam ball (or other round object for the head)
• Old coffee creamer bottle (or something similar for the body)
• Scissors
• Bowl
• Glow in the dark paint (optional)
• Black Sharpie or cardstock (optional)
• Dropcloth (optional)

Tips and Thoughts for This Project

There are two things you should know before you get started. First of all, it’s a good idea to have a plastic drop cloth to cover your work surface so that you don’t get Stiffy everywhere. Note that you can reuse the drop cloth for other projects. Just let everything dry and fold it up.

Secondly, you’re welcome to get creative with the body of your cheesecloth ghost. I used a coffee creamer bottle with the top cut off. Both the arms and head fit nicely and make it easy.

But you can use a variety of items. You could even use a dowel rod with a base. You just need something to support the head and arms – something stable so that the mold holds while the ghost is drying.

If you choose to paint, you can use acrylic paint and go right over the top of the fabric stiffener. You can use paint pens to draw on eyes and a mouth. I chose to leave mine plain. I don’t know – it seems more spooky that way!

Making a ghost out of cheesecloth is really easy with fabric stiffener! Learn how to do it in any size you like.

• Cheesecloth
• Mod Podge Stiffy or other fabric stiffener
• Aluminum foil
• Wax paper
• Styrofoam ball
• Old coffee creamer bottle – with top removed
• Glow in the dark paint optional
• Black Sharpie or cardstock optional
• Drop cloth optional

Instructions

• Tear a piece of wax paper off of the roll and place over the ball. Twist the end and set aside.
  
• Tear off two feet of foil and wrap into a tube. Cover the tube with wax paper so that the stiffener doesn't stick to it. These will be the arms (you can add more foil to make the arms longer).
  
• Twist the ends of the arms so they don't come unraveled. Bend in the middle and stick into the coffee container. Shape so the arms don't come out and they stay straight.
  
• Place the head on top of the container with the twisted portion down inside.
  
• Cut three lengths of cheesecloth (about 18", or to cover your mold) using the scissors. Before cutting, check to make sure the pieces will be long enough to cover the mold.
  
• Place in a bowl and squeeze fabric stiffener on top to cover. Coat the cheesecloth thoroughly with stiffener. You want enough to get it pretty wet without making it "stiffener soup."
  
• Pick out one piece of cloth at a time and squeeze out excess stiffener. Drape over the top of the mold. You'll see that the ends curl naturally quite nicely. It's pretty lightweight so your mold should hold it easily.
  
• Repeat with the second and third pieces of cheesecloth, arranging them slightly differently as you place to cover areas that you didn't get before. Let dry overnight.
  
• Remove the mold from the bottom of the ghost. You can help assist with the process using a hair dryer if needed. Make sure all parts are completely dry before displaying.
  
• Paint with glow in the dark paint and add eyes and a mouth if desired!

If you find there is a lot of excess Stiffy in the cheesecloth, squeeze some of it out into the bowl. You want it pretty soaked, but it doesn't need to be dripping. That will just take longer to dry.

If you find it's not drying in some areas, let the top dry more and then move it as soon as you can to help (because sometimes the fabric stiffener pools as it dries and the base stays especially wet).

I don’t know about you, but there are a few things I think about when Halloween comes into my mind. I’ll happily and proudly say that candy is the first thing. Sugar and I have a great relationship and there’s a lot I’ll do for a Reese’s pumpkin.

But right after candy is not even costumes – it’s the Halloween crafts (including crafts for kids) and the painted pumpkins. Yep, it’s the decor! I absolutely love decorating for the holidays, and homemade Halloween decorations are my favorite.

There’s something that pleases me about Halloween decor . . . and doing it yourself. It can be really inexpensive if you: 1) buy things on sale from previous years and 2) dig for items around the house to use as surfaces or supplies.

You can typically make holiday decor for pretty cheap if you’re willing to get creative.

The dollar store and Goodwill are also great places to find unique surfaces and supplies. I’ve seen people turned used baby doll heads into unique mummy wall art. Think outside the box, and you’ll have the most awesome Halloween decor ever!

I’m not sure if you heard my squeal in your house, but I’m so excited to share this collection with you. Halloween is my most favorite holiday for a variety of reasons. I love the dress up, I love the candy, and I love the fact that there are minimal obligations. It’s just so much fun.

Craft Supplies to Use for Halloween

Before I introduce you to the Halloween projects, I want to give you a few tips for supplies – specifically paints and Mod Podge you should consider to get the best results. This is what I use after years of trial and error. These are my favorites!

Which Paint Should I Use?

You might be wondering which paint to use in your Halloween projects, because there are a lot of choices! Here’s what I use, because I like to get the best coverage and bang for my buck possible:

• Regular Halloween crafts (wood, paper) – FolkArt or FolkArt Multi Surface
• Glass – FolkArt Multi Surface or FolkArt Enamels, oil based Sharpies for writing
• Outdoor – FolkArt Multi Surface
• Halloween kids crafts – Apple Barrel (it’s less expensive than FolkArt and works great!)

All of these paints are waterbase, safe for kids, and you can Mod Podge over the top of them (or glitter, etc). They are made in the USA too which is important to me for paint.

Special Finishes

In addition to regular paints I listed above, here are some other Halloween supplies I use regularly and can vouch for:

• FolkArt 3-D – I love the dimensional effects you can get with this paint, and it has a tip applicator
• Fabric Creations – this paint is perfect for fashion crafts, and there are glitter formulas
• FolkArt Extreme Glitter – I’ve used this formula for years. It’s great over paint when you aren’t decoupaging anything; it has great coverage and a colored base
• Color Shift Paint – I wrote an entire article about this paint because I’m so obsessed with it. It gives you a nice metallic color shift on 3D objects (hello pumpkins and skeletons!)
• Glow in the dark glitter or pigment powder – because, obvious reasons! I sprinkle it on everything

Mod Podge to Use

You’ll find that the Halloween craft ideas in this article use a variety of Mod Podge formulas . . . if you click on each title, the tutorial will show you what was used. Having said that, use our formula guide to find the product that meets your needs, and see what the formulas look like here.

My personal favorites for Halloween are the Mod Podge Glow in the Dark as well as the Extreme Glitter Mod Podge (which looks FANTASTIC over black or purple!). I feel like Halloween is a time to let it all hang out, so why not?

Skills Required: Beginner. You’ll be doing a lot of painting, including stippling with paint brushes. Plus you’ll attach labels. There’s a lot of room for error due to the idea being that these look “old.”

Steve saves everything. I’m not as big of a fan of saving things, but he can picture the use he’s going to have for them. He takes pills for his heart condition, and as a TON of leftover bottles . . . which he’s been saving for crafts for quite awhile.

For Halloween this year, he decided to create these DIY potion bottles out of those old pill bottles! And the real treat is that he created some printable labels you can use with your potion bottles! Fun, huh?

You just need to print these bad boys out, some paint, Mod Podge, and get your Halloween craft on. Learn how to make them just in time for the holiday below!

Gather These Supplies

• Old pill bottles
• Pill bottle labels printable sheet
• Avery inkjet labels – you can do the full page and use a punch or we used these 1 1/2″ labels
• Mod Podge – use Matte or the Antique Matte
• Acrylic paint – black, light gray, medium gray
• FolkArt Painted Finishes – Rust
• Paintbrushes (and a stencil brush)
• Sandpaper or scrubbing pad

Another way to get the rusty finish is to use texture or modeling paste instead of the painted finish above. Use that first to make texture in certain areas, then let dry. Paint over with a rust colored paint and let dry.

Ingredients

• Old pill bottles
• Pill bottle labels printable sheet
• Avery inkjet labels
• Mod Podge Matte
• Acrylic paint black, light gray, medium gray
• FolkArt Painted Finishes Rust

Instructions

• Use sandpaper to rough up the surface of the bottles before painting.
  
• After the bottles are roughed up, add black to the base (you can spray paint). Paint the lids medium gray. The lids don't need to be roughed up because they will probably have textured ridges and printed letters on the top. Let dry.
  
• Print out the pill bottle labels; cut or punch out. Place the labels on the bottles.
  
• Seal the bottles with Mod Podge. This will prevent the labels from removing and the paint from chipping. Let dry.
  
• Start distressing with the medium and light gray shades. Brush randomly with a stencil brush, layering, even going onto the label.
  
• Do this with the lid as well. AND on the lid you'll want to add some of the FolkArt Painted Finishes – Rust. It gives texture and looks like blood/rust/some other identified substance.
  
• Add a little black paint to the top of the rust to age it even more. Let dry.
  
• Paint the entire bottle again with Mod Podge to seal. Let dry.

Halloween is creeping up, and with it, the season of jack-o’-lanterns, spooky treats, and, most thrillingly, the all-important mission of transforming our homes into a haven of Halloween haunts.

You might be thinking – here we go, another year, another mad dash for decorations that promise to be ‘one-of-a-kind’ but end up being the same old plastic skeletons and cobwebs.

But pause your witch’s broom, because this year, I’m going to unveil how to craft a DIY Halloween door hanger that’ll have your friends and family pausing in their tracks to admire your handiwork.

Let me introduce you to the world of decorating unfinished wood door hangers – as enjoyable to create as they are to showcase.

How are we going to cast a spell over these hangers? With the enchantment of napkins, the adaptability of Mod Podge, the spookiness of felt spiders, and the allure of Halloween-colored ribbon.

Yes, we’re diving deep into our cauldron of creativity.

This project is a treat for crafters of all skill levels, from the experts to the ‘I accidentally turned my craft table into an experiment’ novices.

Gather These Supplies

• Unfinished wood door knob hangers – 9.5 x 3.25 x 0.1-Inch were the size I used
• Halloween napkins – I got mine at Joanns (tissue paper works also)
• Mod Podge – any formula
• Mod Podge Sparkle
• Craft paint – white, purple, metallic or glitter purple
• Wood letters – boo
• Halloween embellishments (felt or plastic spiders) and ribbon
• Craft glue or hot glue gun
• Emery board
• Paintbrushes
• Small iron
• Parchment paper
• Scissors
• Clear acrylic spray sealer (optional)

Tips and Thoughts for This Project

Yes, you can make your own door hangers with wood scraps. If you don’t know how to use a hole saw bit, see this video. Drill through the plywood where you want the hole. Sand away any rough edges.

You don’t *have* to paint the door hanger white, however, it makes the colors of the napkin pop. It’s also easy to do, so I always do it. You can use spray paint, but craft paint is cheaper and just as fast with a roller.

I didn’t seal the top of the pumpkin napkin with Mod Podge – it tends to make them wrinkle. If you do seal with Mod Podge and the napkins wrinkle, you can place parchment down and iron over the top again. It’s not as noticeable with the glitter formulas.

Halloween Door Hanger

Instructions

• Paint the door hanger using white craft paint. Roll on one side, let dry, and flip over. Paint other side and let dry.
  
• Apply a coat of Mod Podge to the wood; don't do the edges. Let dry 15-20 minutes and repeat.
  
• While the Mod Podge is drying, separate the napkin from the bottom layers. You can use tape to help. You just want the top layer with the design.
  
• Place the napkin down onto the door hanger. Place a piece of parchment paper on top of the napkin, and run the craft iron across the top several times. While you are doing this, the Mod Podge is melting below the napkin, and the napkin is adhering. Keep going until the napkin is fully adhered, including the edges.
  
• Let the hanger cool after ironing. Use an emery board to gently sand away the excess napkin. Sanding at an angle works very well. Continue until all the extra napkin is removed.
  
• On the pumpkin napkin, I sprayed clear acrylic sealer so it wouldn't wrinkle. I used Sparkle Mod Podge on the ghost door hanger, where wrinkling wouldn't be as noticeable. Choose the method that works best for you. Let dry.
  
• Paint any wood letters. I basecoated with purple paint, then I used purple metallic over the top and let dry.
  
• Cut lengths of ribbon and tie around the hanger handles. Glue letters and embellishments down with craft glue and let dry before hanging.

Skills Required: Intermediate. It’s easy to paint the wood and apply decoupage medium. The only challenging part is ironing the napkins into the Mod Podge, since napkins are fragile. It might take some practice, so work on a sample first.

I’ll admit that I was really dumb last Halloween season. Why? Because I decided to wait until the beginning of October to hit the Dollar Tree and buy my Halloween craft supplies.

And if you are a regular dollar store shopper? You know this is a bad idea.

If you wait until the last minute to grab stuff, especially the Halloween wood surfaces, you might be out of luck. Or as my great-grandmother said, S.O.L. Some of you will know what that means!

This year I decided to be smart and head there in September, and the fruits of my forward thinking were realized! I grabbed several things, but one of them was a wood ghost cutout I decided to add to my Halloween decor.

I’ve been obsessed with using napkins in my craft projects lately. I used some vintage style napkins in my Halloween wood cutouts.

For this wooden ghost, I decided I wanted to use a more fun napkin with a bold ghost print. What’s more fun that ghosts upon ghosts (upon ghosts)? This project came together pretty easily if you’ve ironed napkins before. I’m excited to show you how this Halloween craft is done.

Dollar Tree Ghost Decor

Gather These Supplies

• Dollar Tree wood ghost shape
• Small wood ghost shapes
• Ghost napkin
• Mod Podge Gloss
• Craft paint – white
• Glitter paint – I used FolkArt Glitterific in Snowfall
• Clear floss
• Paintbrush(es)
• Foam spouncer
• Craft knife
• Scissors
• Mini iron
• Parchment paper
• Hot glue gun and hot glue
• Sandpaper
• Drill
• Painter’s tape

This is the ghost shape I got from Dollar Tree. I want you to see what kind of wood shapes you’re looking for when you go shopping! They usually have a piece of twine at the top and are in the seasonal section.

Drill the Holes

I decided that I wanted to hang some mini ghosties from my main ghostie, so I drilled holes at the bottom of the wood shape.

Because the wood shape is so thin (it’s a dollar store item), you should use painter’s tape so that the wood doesn’t splinter or break. Put a piece of painter’s tape on both sides over where you’ll be drilling.

Mark the places you would like to hang the ghosts. I had three small wood ghosts, and so I marked three holes. Then drill the holes with a small bit.

Remove the painter’s tape and you will have three holes drilled in the wood. You’re ready to continue.

Paint the Wood

Now you’ll paint all of the wood ghosts, both the small and large, with white paint. The reason for painting the large ghost is because napkins are very, very sheer. So when you apply the design, you want the napkin design to be bright and pop off the wood. The white background will do that for you.

Paint all the ghosties with a few coats of white paint, and let dry. Don’t forget to do both sides. The small ghosts could flip from side to side when you hang the final project.

Glitter the Small Ghosts

Use the foam spouncer to apply the glitter paint to the small ghosts. If you don’t have a foam spouncer, you can still use a brush, but it’s more difficult to apply. The spouncer keeps it right where you apply it.

Paint both sides of the ghosts and let dry. Then repeat. I used two coats.

Mod Podge the Large Ghost

Once the paint has dried, paint two coats of Mod Podge over the front of the large ghost. You will paint a coat, making sure to get all the way to edges, and let dry. Then you’ll paint a second coat and let dry.

Apply the Napkins

While the Mod Podge is drying, separate the napkin layers. The reason you’re going to do this is because napkins are made of 2-3 layers typically, and you just want the top layer with the design. If you use the napkin without separating it, it will wrinkle because the layers will operate independently of each other.

The wood piece should be on your work surface with the Mod Podge side up. Place the napkin down on the ghost and situate it the way you like. Turn your mini craft iron up to the top level (level three). If you use a real iron, go to medium heat with no steam.

Place a piece of parchment paper on top of the wood, and run the craft iron across the top several times. While you are doing this, the Mod Podge is melting below the napkin, and the napkin is adhering.

Keep going until the napkin is fully adhered. It should just take a minute or two on a surface this small. Lift up and check under the parchment paper to see if you missed anywhere, especially around the edges

Once you’re done, remove the parchment paper and let cool. It should be pretty smooth.

Trim and Seal

Once the wood cools, remove the excess napkin from around the outside edge using fine grit sandpaper or a nail file. You will see the napkin pull right apart as you sand on the edge.

Use a craft knife to remove the excess napkin from the mouth and eye holes. Work carefully and use a sharp blade.

Attach the Small Ghosts

To finish your ghost decor, you’re going to hot glue the small wood shapes to the bottom. I first cut three pieces of clear floss the length I wanted them to hang.

Then I hot glued the floss with a small dab to the “back” of the ghosts. I flossed them through the holes in the bottom of the main ghost (you can push the floss right through the napkin or poke with a pin).

Then I tied knots on the back. You could also add more hot glue.

Your Dollar Tree wood ghost decor is ready to display! There’s already a hole at the top for hanging (it came that way).
