Review :

This is the first model airplane I bought, it was all my flight back to London, just had to buy one. The plane is very detailed, this has bought me the attention of collecting die-cast planes.

The paint work is of quality and shape is close to real as well, shame was the wheels, although detailed it seem delicate, I guess all Gemini's jets are similar.

Well it's only for display and not for play, also it came with a certificate by Virgins boss "Richard Branson", showing the production number of the plane.

Which was a good addition, different to others where no certificates provided.

Gemini Jets : Virgin Atlantic : Concorde

Was Looking into Gemini's Virgin Jets and added the Virgin concorde "Supersonic Voyager" to my wish list.

Only 2000 units were produced and was released in 2004, this is a really rare model, given that it was the only Virgin concorde made by Gemini.

I'd seen it auction off at Ebay few days ago for £92 ($180), fair price I say, my budget was only half of the sold price...

Hope I'll have the chance getting my hand on one in the future, congratulation to the winning bidder.

Review :

Surprised on the size, really tiny, no more 1:600 scale planes for me. This is the first time seeing a different make than Gemini, and the result was awful!

The paint job was really rubbish, engine not detailed, nose looks nothing like actual plane, and the landing gear was just a square piece of plastic with wheels stuck on.

Conclusion, felt like a piece of metal with the worst details and paint job, my plane note had a deeper orange color, lots different from others which was a lighter orange.

Anyway only paid £1.20 ($2.5) for it, so can't complain too much, but was really disappointed with Schabak. Gave the plane away to my son, he loved it brings it to school every day. Kids :)

Review :

It's a good size solid die-cast plane, the landing gears are changeable and the petals can spin.

The DC-3, in my opinion is not a beautiful plane, unless you like to collect war planes.

I have noticed Corgi has quite a high quality standard, well worth the high price tag.

However, maybe because of the size I felt that the details are still lacking behide Gemini and Herpa. The paint job is of good quality, the coloring is a bit dull.

Review :

The 767 is not a small plane, so compare to others it's a good size. the Chinese writings and the logo made the plane a bit less boring.

Again, I do not recommend starting collectors to by Schabak planes, the paint job is way below standards, you can see anyone can do a better job by hand.

The engines are painted over with the same paint as the body, and the landing gear is just a rectangular plastic stuck with wheels.

I dos have a good shape, but not well made, as it's reflected in the price, if you're looking for a small scale plane, I would choose Schuco over Schabak.

Review:

Starting to like Gemini models now, so bought quite a few.

Anyway back to the plane, as you can see from the picture, apart from the detailed quality, and a bit of yellow engine/tail, it is another boring unattractive plane (to me of course).

This time, I have notice the details are less, as again the 767 is a large plane, maybe you just notice the detail a bit more as the model size increases.

With just two engine, and the plain white body, you will feel it's not very special, a plane for the "I want to collect all" collectors. Other than that the quality of the plane is fine.

Review:

Here I present you with 3 small planes set, which I feel is not worth the £75 price tag.

Reason 1 : the tail colors of this set is not as attractive as other British Airways's tails, e.g. The Hong Kong Tail.

Reason 2 : the planes are of course very detailed and high quality, but three planes are the same, only difference is the tail color.

Reason 3 : I am against buying sets, as I feel the manufacture is just doing it to make a fast buck, I will not pay more tan £30 for this set.

Review :

This is a Gemini Jets model, which meant the details are still very high standard, still shame about the unmovable landing gears, especially the wheels.

Unless it's the Gemini 250, nearly all Gemini 400 are fixed landing gears, I still haven't got my hands on the Gemini 200 yet.

The Plane design is quite nice and details are realistic, e.g. the Kuwait words on the plane, are so small, it's only readable if you used a magnifying glass.

On the box this plane says Gemini Jets II, don't know why, but it's still Gemini Jets to me.

Anyway this is a cute plane, very colourful and the engines and paintwork is very detail.

Never used airTran, but it's a got one for beginners as the price and design is very good.

Because of the shape of the plane, it feels less detailed than Boeings.
