In the statement announcing the bankruptcy, 944 said the filing was precipitated by “several potentially burdensome lawsuits,” lawsuits involve the buyout of a former 944 partner/investor and the terms of a partnership surrounding 944's 2008 "944 Super Village" Super Bowl event.

the "Super Village" event was a financial disaster, in part because 944 kept sponsorship money for itself and “secretly” gave away thousands of tickets (including more than $1 million in VIP tickets to “potential magazine models”), actually selling fewer than 1,000 tickets. It also alleges that 944 investor Eric Crown (also co-founder and former CEO of Insight.com parent Insight Enterprises) took $180,000 worth of tickets and cabanas for his own “personal, social purposes.”

Explosive’s claims against 944 also got personal. The lawsuit alleges that the only reason Crown invested in 944 Media was “the access it gave him to young, attractive models and other women, whom he hoped to date.”

Model Vanity Expo is a series of photo shoot workshops with select photographers to help new and established model talent develop a unique portfolio of images at no cost. This private event offers talent multiple settings and safe surroundings.

RIVERSIDE, Ca. USA, June 19, 2008 / -- IP MicroMedia LLC web property ModelVanity.com (website in development) and Model Vanity Studios today announced a partnership to launch a first of a kind “Model Vanity Expo”. The partnership promises new and established models the chance to work with multiple, selected photographers in the presence of sponsors who may select talent for upcoming projects.

"We are excited about providing all established and new models this great opportunity to showcase their talent and realize their modeling potential," founder Oscar Toscano stated. "Opening our private studio in Riverside, Ca. to this unique casting and offering talent and select photographers a chance to work under our expertise in a nationally known studio lot is great experience and networking opportunity."

“We are using this event as a proving ground for our model shoot expo concept. Sasha Singleton runs an all female based entertainment company called,Lush Pro. Orange County.

She’s in charge of providing female DJ’s, models, go-go dancers and performers to help promote Southern California’s events and night clubs.

Sasha Singleton is also planning on opening up a a fashion store with her best friend, and also another Top Asian Model, Christine Mendoza.

I started modeling in fashion shows for Bullocks and May Company when I was very young. I also participated in Thai pageants, and did a lot of work overseas for Thai Vogue and Thai television. It was not until my second year of college that I attended my first import car show and was discovered by the ultimate import car show, Hot Import Nights, that I got into the “industry”.

I became Miss Hot Import Nights for the year of 2000 and I was so amazed at how many people knew who I was! I also got into my first of many editions of Playboy and on the cover of Import Tuner. My cover for Import Tuner was the first issue that they started doing features on the cover models, and they changed the layout of the magazine. It was one of the most talked about issues ever. From that moment on I appeared in various Playboy issues such as “Sexy Girls Next Door”, “Girlfriends”, and “Natural Beauties”, in addition to the well known “Book of Lingerie”. I was also featured on the Millennium cover of Hustler magazine, which has become a collector’s edition. You may have also seen me on the cover of Performance Auto and Sound, Lowrider Euro, Access Magazine, and many of the leading Asian-American calendars and DVD’

What are your favorite colors and brands of blush?
I love MAC blush and NARS blushes. Both are highly pigmented with shimmer & Color so they stay on best and look natural! MAC – Dollymix (A vibrant shimmery hotpink), Foolish Me (A shimmery bright Coral peach), & Pink Swoon (A natural non shimmer baby pink). NARS – I absolutely love Orgasm (Shimmery gold peach), and Angelika (The Most beautiful bubblegum pink glitter. Perfect for clubbing!)

Did you get breast implants? Yes, I did. I had the most fabulous surgeon, Dr. Donald Altman @ the Irivne Plastic Surgery center. It was really expensive, but the result was totally worth it and the staff there is awesome. They made me feel so comfortable!

How do you get your hair so blonde? What's your natural hair color?
My natural hair color is a very dark brown, almost black. It took me a long time to get My hair this blonde. I would not suggest going straight blonde from dark hair. It will Fry your hair! Do it gradually. I started by doing highlights, and adding more and More every 3-4 months until I got to my desired shade of blonde. Also, you want to Dye your “base” color a light brown so the roots don’t show as often. I do my hair Every 4-5 weeks. I do have to tell you that it is very expensive to maintain blonde Hair. It needs a lot more coloring, highlighting, deep conditioning that any other Color, so be prepared to invest time and money to get it!!!! And use a shampoo Especially made for blonde hair so it does not turn gold-brassy! My hairstylist Does take referrals, so please email me if you need his info.

Your skin always looks so flawless and luminescent and gorgeous. How do you get it that way? What products do you use?
Thanks, Monica! I use MAC Studiotech foundation, MAC Studiofix powder or Clinique Super Powder, and a light golden bronzer on top for the "glow". Good bronzers are "Tropic Tan" by Sugar, MAC bronzing powder and Benefit's Flamingo Fancy.

What's the one thing you are most afraid of?
Spiders! I get absolutely paralyzed when I see one!

What is your favorite type of music?
I listen to a wide variety of music. Some of my favorite artists are Natalie Cole, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Lil Kim, 50 Cent, Jodeci, N'Sync, Destiny's Child, and Frank Sinatra.

What is the status of BombshellPinups.com and what will be on the Import Idols 2 DVD?
As of now, the site collaboration between me, Sunisa and Christine is on hold. We are all pursuing our own personal websites. So as of now, that site is not going to be released.
As far as "Import Idols 2" there will be interviews, behind the scenes go-go dancing and getting ready, HIN Los Angeles, the girls getting ready at my house, girls day out on the yacht, Idols car maintenance tips, behind the scenes photo shoots, and much much more! Describe your sexiest outfit? Something small but not too revealing… You want to keep the guys guessing ;)

How do you stay in such great shape? I haven’t figured that out yet… genetics?

What's your favourite exercise? I don’t really exercise… but gogo dancing seems to be a good workout..

What are some of your goals? I would like to be a major part of HIN next season, maybe shoot for a couple of other magazines, and experience as much as I can in Import modeling.
