A common theme with many guys I work with is resistance to change. All of us were brought up with a certain set of beliefs about life and the world—some good, some bad, but all affected how we perceive ourselves. Some of these beliefs came from our childhood religion, our parents, or society’s values in general. These beliefs colored our existence and the life decisions that we made from childhood through early adulthood.

The guys who are most successful with women—like me—never let any of these beliefs affect us. We never bought into the B.S. We never followed the crowd. We never did what we were told to do.

The guys that fell in lock step with the crowd (which is the vast majority) allowed these beliefs—beliefs that came not from within their true selves—to be carved into stone. They fomented, crystallized, and in many cases hardened into a brick wall in guys’ belief systems.

When a guy comes to me and says, “Cory, I want to be great with women”, I start by asking lots of questions and digging deep into his life experiences. When I do so, he and I are both often amazed at how much opportunity has been right in front of him, but the brick wall in his head is so thick that we need to do a lot of work together to knock it down and replace it with new beliefs that create new possibilities.

The problem is that most guys do not want to let go of the comfortable blanket of coziness in which they have wrapped themselves up their entire lives. It’s much easier to hide inside the box you’ve built, wrapped up in your blanket, safe from the responsibilities of success.

With success in anything comes an escape from the person you used to be. It can be a difficult and staggering task to say goodbye to that old self in whose blanket you have been kept so warm.

When I show guys a reality that they couldn’t possibly imagine before, such as hanging around with beautiful women twenty years younger than themselves, dating multiple women at once, or enjoying relationships with supermodels, guys often shut down because they fear letting go of their old self.

The center of this old self is a belief system that says that none of this is possible. But when you condition yourself to accept that not only is it possible… it’s just another Friday night… your reality is literally rocked to the core.

This is why it’s so important to be open to and accepting of change. Be willing to take chances. We’ve all heard the term “No risk, no reward”, and I’m here to tell you that’s how to live a full life with an abundance of beautiful women.

You must take risks. Risks are a critical part of every successful guy’s life. Every guy who has ever been great at anything has had the courage to step out of his comfort zone and take chances. The guys who don’t take chances will literally watch their lives pass by right in front of their eyes. They will grow old and wonder how it happened while they sit on their rickety porch with a beer, chanting society’s mantra of “I wish I had…”

Don’t be an “I wish I had”. Be an “I’m glad I did”. With no regrets.

Accept change. Love change. Relish change. Let go of your old self. Enjoy your time here on earth. We only get one chance at this thing called life. Let’s live it to the fullest.

I’ve noticed something about a lot of instructors who teach guys questionable methods to meet and date women.

They teach control.

What do I mean by that? They want guys to believe that the way to make things happen with a woman is to control every situation.

For example, many instructors teach guys how to get a girl’s phone number, commonly known as a “#-close”… and they teach guys to get it as fast as possible.

That’s B.S. thinking.

Because at the end of the day, the sexually desirable guy that just lets things happen may get less numbers but ends up with four times as many women… and the connection that he has with these women is extremely hot.

In fact, I teach guys not to get numbers, but rather to build such a sexually charged connection during the interaction that she can’t help but give you her number without your even asking for it. This is the real way.

This goes against “community” thinking because there is a misguided belief that getting a number is the same as generating a sexually charged connection.

The “community” also teaches that women do not call guys. But I know for a fact that if you present yourself as a sexually desirable guy who has a magnetic mindset, you can give your number to a woman. Women do call and text guys day and night. This is commonplace for my students.

Another example is talking too much. It is “community” dogma to control the conversation with a girl by talking endlessly, whether you use rehearsed routines or not.

Again, B.S. thinking.

Ultimately, a woman wants to qualify herself to a man. She does not want a man qualifying himself to her, which is what most guys do when they talk too much.

Women love talking about themselves. Why should we take that away from them? Shut up and listen. Some of the hottest interactions I’ve had with women have been hour-long conversations with me saying only five words. It’s an easy way to build sexual chemistry.

Guys want a clear A-B-C roadmap for success with women, but I’m going to be in your face with this… it doesn’t work like that. There is no formula for interacting or communicating with women. Women are emotional beings. I don’t care how smart we think we are. For us to think we can speak rationally or logically to an emotional being is pure ignorance on our part.

But A-B-C thinking is what’s making the bankrolls of many pickup companies fat—attempting to teach guys that you can control each and every situation with either the right line or the perfect routine.

The reality is, we don’t have absolute control of anything. The way to make things happen is to let things happen.

Let it happen.

I’m going to talk a little about my teaching method this week. One of my main tools for teaching guys how to be great with women is affirmations. I have several different ways to apply affirmations into your life—ways that I’ve developed over a period of years. (There are other techniques I teach as well, but affirmations are a universally accessible way to get started.)

During the process of acquiring a “magnetic mindset”, many of my students experience a subconscious block that prevents them from being consistent with affirmations. They start applying them and begin to notice subtle changes in the way they behave and the reactions they get from other people. Some of these changes are so far outside of their realities that it blows their minds.

This is scary for some guys. It opens them up to a new world they never thought possible—a new world that is ripe with possibilities that they had never even considered before. A new world that shatters what they’ve always believed.

So they stop.

But, I urge you to never stop your affirmations. Affirmations are your lifeline. They are your oxygen supply. If you stop doing them, then you cut off your own air.

You can’t stop.

Earlier this summer, I personally experimented with stopping. At first, I noticed no difference. But after about three weeks, I began to have negative thoughts that caused me to make a few mistakes… mistakes I wouldn’t have normally made.

We are all the same. Even with all my amazing success with women, in other areas of my life I still have a lot of old negative programming hidden in the back of my brain. We all do.

If we stop our affirmations, we begin to drift backward to bad beliefs that date all the way back to our early childhoods. It’s like the helmsman of a ship who abandons the wheel, hoping that the ship will automatically drift into port.

But we all know what will happen. The winds and currents will drive that ship in random directions. And yet that’s precisely what we allow to happen if we stop applying affirmations.

All your old thoughts and beliefs are deeply embedded in your subconscious mind. By applying affirmations consistently, you slowly change those old limiting beliefs and take control of the direction of your life. Affirmations keep you on course.

See, what I teach guys is a radical way to “detox” yourself from your past. I show you how to build up such a strong defense so that no amount of negativity from others affects you at all.

That’s the power of affirmations (as well as other teaching methods I use) to completely turn your life around… and why you should never stop applying them.

I know a lot of this sounds New-Age-y, hocus pocus, or just plain fruity.

But it works. Results don’t lie.

I’m not a scientist. I don’t pretend to be one. I haven’t done ten years’ worth of research in libraries to uncover the mechanisms behind this.

All I know is that it works.

It works for me. It works for my students. And that’s all I care about. Using these methods, I have now personally changed the lives of guys all over the world. As I often say, I didn’t think I could get this across to guys when I first started.

But now, I know from experience that the guys who are willing to take a chance… to suspend disbelief and do what I tell them to do… have infused their lives with changes they never thought possible.

Your subconscious mind is a powerful mechanism… if you use it properly. It will either make you or break you.

The best way I’ve found to communicate with this deep part of yourself is to do affirmations every day for an hour. Yes, an hour! It’s a very small amount of time when you realize the results you’re going to get.

Set aside a time in your day to apply affirmations the way I teach them. I don’t care how busy you are. This is too important. It is the lifeline that fuels everything else you do.

If you do them every day, you’re one step closer to having the life you want.

One of the top factors that kills a woman’s attraction for a man very quickly is him feeling like he is not enough. Being enough means that you don’t need anything outside of yourself to make you happy or feel good about yourself-you derive your sense of self esteem from within.

When you feel like you aren’t enough you search for things to compensate for your lack of feeling naturally attractive. You buy nice cars in order to get women. You workout and get into great shape JUST to get women. You buy drinks for women JUST to get them to talk to you. And you get into state JUST to get the girl to like you.

Getting into state is is a term used in the seduction community as a way to get into a positive, excited, party mode before you go out and meet women. This is typically done by listening to music that gets you energized and excited. It’s similar to what athletes do before a game.

Getting into state JUST to get the girl will add to your feelings of not being enough and will create unhealthy beliefs about your ability to meet and attract women.

Take a guy who isn’t normally that great with women. He decides one night that he will prepare himself before going out to a club or bar by getting into that state. He goes out and women respond to him a lot better that night than they normally would. He gets a rush and feels a little bit better about himself.

His goal is to become good with women so he repeats this process of getting into state before going out to clubs again and again. By repeating this process he is unconsciously training himself to believe that getting into state was the reason why he got the girl. The state, not himself, allowed him to get women attracted.

This unhealthy belief and behavior is ingrained in him through conditioning, similar to the way you train a dog. The way you train a dog is through reward/punishment. When the dog preforms wanted behaviors it receive a treat (reward) and when it preforms unwanted behavior it receive a smack on the nose (punishment). Over time the dog learns that if I do this behavior I will receive a reward and if I do that behavior I will receive punishment.

The same process happens when a guy goes into this state to get good with women. Through repetition he believes that if he does the behavior (getting into state) he will receive a reward (getting the girl). Alternatively, if he doesn’t get into state he will receive no women (punishment).

What happens when he isn’t in this state? He feels unattractive and couldn’t possibly get the girl. This happens because he has trained himself to believe that the state is the reason why he got the girl.

This process of being conditioned to feel like he NEEDS to be in this state in order to get the girl adds to his feelings of not being enough. He feels like he needs to do something in order to get women to like him. It’s the same line of thought a person has who feels like they NEED to buy women drinks or workout in order to get women attracted to them. They aren’t enough alone so they need something extra to make up for their shortcomings.

The truth is you CAN get better results when you are in this fun, excited and party mood but you need to do it for the right reasons. There is nothing wrong with getting into this state just because you want to have a good time.

You make your situation worse if you get into this state just for the women. Drop trying to do things in order to get women to like you and work on getting to a point where you like you. When you finally feel like you are enough and actually love being who you are your neediness will drop and women will flock to you. At that point you wouldn’t care if you had them or not because you are already enough and don’t need anything to make you feel complete.

Over qualifying leads to many lonely and sleepless nights plagued with what if questions and the possibility of what could’ve been. Life is too short to sit there waiting on the fence for the perfect woman to fall into your lap. Too many guys are looking for the woman who meets all of their qualifications and standards but unfortunately this girl doesn’t exists. From this illusion guys tend to over qualify and become too harsh on women in the beginning. It’s equivalent of women looking for Mr. Right and grilling every guy she meets while downstairs collects cobwebs.

Guys learn to qualify and have standards in order to pull away from the PUA phase and wanting to sleep with anything with a pulse. Once they have transcended that phase and learned to not use women to fill a hole inside of themselves, they can drop over qualifying. Its important and vital to learn to have a high standards but even more important to let it go.

The real qualifying comes when you are in a relationship with someone, NOT in the beginning phase of first meeting her. My standards for a women are really high but only when she is in a relationship with me. She needs to be strong enough to face her fears, her ego, and everything else. She needs to be able to handle set backs and let downs and still come out swinging. Being in a relationship with me is not a walk in the park.

A girl who is strong like this is very rare but to know whether or not a girl is right for you comes from being in a relationship, this is the true test. Most people have fake social masks that they wear, especially women. After the initial high of first meeting someone fades their pain body will start to come out. This usually occurs after two to three weeks. After it fades you will know if she is strong and persistent enough to actually be in a relationship with you.

Guys over qualify and are too rough on women in the beginning stages for several reasons. The first reason for over qualifying is that they are scared. They use qualifying to cover up their real insecurities and fears. They wont admit this to themselves because the ego is very elusive and clever but the motivation for over qualifying is to push women away in order to avoid facing their fears.

The second motivating factor behind over qualifying is the illusion that the perfect girl is out there waiting for them. Lets face it, spanking is a pain in the ass. Guys who overqualify have a desire to cut out some of this annoying process and I don’t blame them. The third reason for a guy will over qualify and become too harsh on women in the beginning is because he has yellow chakra issues with owning his own strength. This is based in fear so its not truly owning ones strength.

After you have found a woman who can handle being in a conversation with you, who is playful and fun and who isn’t a pussy power ranger, simply enjoy the women and your time with her. Don’t go and ruin it by being too hard on her in the beginning. The feelings of attraction will be very high and she will soon become addicted to you. Once you are in a relationship with her she will prove to you whether or not she is strong enough to handle you. In the relationship is where her true colors will shine and her strength tested.

Mistakes happen and are a natural part of life. Let your fears go of picking a wrong girl because there is no such thing as a wrong girl, only lessons to be learned. A brief moment of awkwardness is far better than a night of loneliness.

4. Get out of the scene where you met. If you feel you have something going then you want to get her out of the bar or wherever it is you met. Once you’ve made the connection, suggest going to a quieter, more intimate bar. Order the first round of drinks and go in for the kiss sooner rather than later.
5. Be up front. You’re not looking for a future wife here, so let her know that in the kindest way possible. If you stray her along and she goes home with you then you’ll never get rid of her.

Of course you have.

Just like me, I’m sure you’ve had attractive female friends that always seemed
to date “jerks”… but for some reason they were never romantically interested
in YOU.

What’s going on here?

It’s actually very simple…

Women don’t base their choices of men on how “nice” a guy is. They choose
the men they do because they feel a powerful GUT LEVEL ATTRACTION for them.

And guess what?

Being nice doesn’t make a woman FEEL that powerful ATTRACTION.

And being NICE doesn’t make a woman CHOOSE you.

I realize that this doesn’t make a lot of logical sense, and it’s hard to
ACCEPT… but GET OVER IT.

Until you accept this FACT and begin to act on it, you’ll NEVER have the success
with women that you want.

What do most guys
do when they meet a woman that they REALLY like… but she’s just notinterested?

Right! They try to “convince” the woman to feel differently.

Well, I have news for you… YOU WILL NEVER CHANGE HOW A WOMAN “FEELS” WHEN
IT COMES TO ATTRACTION!

Never, ever, EVER.

You cannot CONVINCE a woman to feel differently about you with “logic and
reasoning”.

Think about it.

If a woman doesn’t “feel it” for you, how in the world do you expect to change
that FEELING by being “reasonable” with her?

But we all do it.

When a woman just isn’t interested, we beg, plead, chase, and do our best
to change her mind.

Bad idea. One that will never work.

In our desire
to please women (which we mistakenly think will make them like us), us guys are
always doing things to get a woman’s “approval” or “permission”.

Another HORRIBLE idea.

Women are NEVER attracted to the types of men who kiss up to them… EVER.

Don’t get me wrong here.

You don’t have to treat women BADLY for them to like you.

But if you think that treating a woman well means “always getting her approval
and permission for things”, think again.

You will never succeed by looking for approval. Women actually get ANNOYED
at men who seek their approval.

Doubt me? Just ask any attractive woman if Wussy guys who chase her around
and want her approval annoy her…

How many times
have you taken a woman out to a nice dinner, bought her gifts and flowers, and
had her REJECT you for someone who didn’t treat her even HALF as well as you did?

If you’re like me, then you’ve had it happen a LOT.

Well guess what?

It’s only NATURAL when this happens…

That’s right, I said NATURAL.

When you do these things, you send a clear message:

“I don’t think you’ll like me for who I am, so I’m going to try to buy your
attention and affection”.

Your good intentions usually come across to women as over-compensation for insecurity,
and weak attempts at manipulation. That’s right, I said that women see this as
MANIPULATION.

Another huge and unfortunate mistake that most
men make with women is sharing how they “feel” too early on.

Attractive women are rare.

And they get a LOT of attention from men.

Most men don’t realize this, but attractive
women are being approached in one way or another ALL THE

An attractive woman is often approached several
times a DAY by men who are interested. This translate into dozens of times per
week, and often HUNDREDS of times per month.

And guess what?

Attractive women have usually dated a LOT of
men.

That’s right. They have EXPERIENCE.

They know what to expect.

And one thing that turns an attractive women
off and sends her running away faster than just about anything is a guy who starts
saying “You know, I really, REALLY like you” after one or two dates.

This signals to the woman that you’re just like
all the other guys who fall for her too fast… and can’t control themselves.

Don’t do it. Lean back. Relax.

There’s a much better way…

Women are VERY
different from men when it comes to ATTRACTION.

You need to accept this fact, and deal with it.

When a man sees a beautiful, young, sexy woman, he INSTANTLY feels a sexual
attraction.

But does the same apply for women?

Do women feel sexual attraction to men based mostly on looks? Or is something
else going on?

Well, after studying this topic for over five full years now, I can tell you
that women usually have their “attraction mechanisms” triggered by things OTHER
than looks.

Have you ever noticed that you see a lot more average and unattractive men
with beautiful women than the other way around?

Think about it.

Women are more attracted to certain qualities in men… and they’re attracted
to the way a man makes them FEEL than they are to looks alone.

If you know how to use your body language and communication correctly, you
can make women feel the same kind of powerful sexual attraction to you that YOU
feel when you see a hot, sexy young woman.

But it’s not an accident. You have to LEARN how to do this.

And ANY guy can learn how…

One of the most
common mistakes that guys make is giving up before they’ve even gotten started…
because they think that attractive women are only interested in men who have looks
and money… or guys who are a certain height… or guys who are a certain age.

And sure, there are some women who are only interested in these things.

But MOST women are far more interested in a man’s personality than his wallet
or his looks.

There are personality traits that attract women like a magnet…

And if you learn what they are and how to use them, YOU can be one of these
guys.

YOU DO NOT have to “settle” for a woman just because you aren’t rich, tall,
or handsome.

Let me say this again: If you know how to use your body language and communication
correctly, you can make women feel the same kind of powerful sexual attraction
to you that YOU feel when you see a hot, sexy young woman.

Earlier I mentioned
that it’s a mistake to look to a woman for approval or permission.

Well, another similar tactic that a lot of guys use is GIVING AWAY THEIR POWER
to women.

Said differently, guys try to get women to like them by doing whatever the
woman wants.

Another bad idea…

Women are NEVER attracted to men that they can walk all over… Women aren’t
attracted to Wussies!

Now I’m going to
blow your mind…

A woman ALWAYS knows what you’re thinking.

Women are approximately TEN TIMES better than men at reading body language.
That’s ten TIMES.

I know, it might be hard to believe. But for example, if you’re out on a date
with a woman, and you want to kiss her, she knows it.

And if you don’t know exactly what to do and exactly HOW to kiss her, and
you just sit there looking at her and getting nervous, she won’t help!

And this goes for ALL aspects of women and dating…

Approaching a woman, getting her number, asking her out, kissing her, getting
physical… everything.

If you don’t know what to do in each situation, you will probably screw it
up… and LOSE EVERYTHING.

And you KNOW it.

It is VITALLY important that you know EXACTLY how to go from one step to the
next with a woman… from the first meeting, all the way to the bedroom.

This is the biggest mistake of all.

This is the mistake that keeps most men from EVER having the kind of success
with women that they truly want.

I know, guys don’t like to make themselves look weak or helpless. We don’t
like to ask for help.

Hey, I’ve been there myself.

“I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell” (Tucker Max)

Well I heard about this book within my circle of friends and decided to pick it up and see what all the fuss was about.

I was not disappointed at all.

The author tucker Max is hysterically funny. His stories are so far fetched and unusual that there is just no way someone could even fathom them being false.

Sure this guy is a chauvinistic, narcissistic, self-centered, egomaniac, pig - but the stories are in a class all their own. If people are too sensitive or in the words of Tucker, “can’t take a joke”, then don’t read this book. Otherwise, be prepared to laugh out loud and enjoy some of the best storytelling you will ever experience.

In “I hope they serve beer in hell.” the mind of the male college party animal is exposed as well as the college female psyche. Whether it’s the sexy model, girl next door, desperate, horny, ugly, or just your average college girl this book addresses many college relationship issues in a realistic, `don’t hold your tongue’ fashion.

“I hope they serve beer in hell” is about Tucker’s experiences both during and after college. Arguably a slacker by most standards, he is by no means stupid. He studied at Duke for his undergraduate degree and was accepted by the very prestigious University of Chicago’s School of Law. However, requisite studying was usually replaced by crazy adventures with friends, drinking, meeting girls, sex, defecating and eating.

Tucker is not by any means an exceptionally handsome guy – he’s average. But when it comes to the ladies, Tucker is anything but average – picking up beautiful women (which include models and beauty contestant winners) effortlessly. This is what makes this book not only entertaining but also very informative for any guy who could use some solid coaching on picking up women. And I don’t know a guy out there today who could not use a little extra coaching even if you’re Brad Pitt. Here’s an excerpt:

“Let me explain something to all of you out there who didn’t go to college: The easiest place to get laid on earth (without paying) is an American college campus. And the easiest place on a college campus to get laid is a frat party. You don’t need ANY game to get laid at a frat party. You generally don’t need much game to pick up 18-21 year old girls anyway, but college frat parties are ridiculous. It’s like a clearance sale in the pussy aisle at the hook-up store; Everything Must Go! No Reasonable Offer Refused!”

Although Tucker’s bragging, narcissism, and delusions of grandeur are undoubtedly offensive, these foibles of character are either compensated by his ability to tell a story or paradoxically endear himself to the reader.” I particularly found myself to belong to the latter and could not put the book down. Like Tucker or not, his bizarre stories hold your attention from beginning to end as they are told through a narration that only the very best professional comedians could deliver.

If you’re a guy and you want insight into the life a real asshole, then read this book. You will either be utterly disgusted or will want to become an asshole too. In either case I promise you will laugh your ass off!

Paralyzed By Indecision

We often find ourselves standing at the fork in the road undecided about which ay to go. Sometimes we just get stuck and it starts to bog us down and get in the way of progress.

Sometimes we just need to pick something just to move on and then stick with it. I try to go with my first impression and then just stick it out. If i decided later it was the wrong choice i have now learned a valuable lesson for the next time I’m faced with this decision.

I just received another stellar email from dating coach Brent Smith of Absolute Power Dating

Do you ever find yourself avoiding a decision you have to make?

Wonder why it’s so hard?

There’s a benefit to NOT making one.

What’s the benefit?

You don’t have to take responsibility for making the WRONG one.

You think you’re in control when you avoid the decision but you’re not. You’re only in control once you actually decide. The ironic thing is that making a decision (even the wrong one) quickly is much less painful then what you’re going through when you’re agonizing over it.

I suggest doing a simple Pro/Con exercise to ease the pain. Get out a piece of paper, write the subject/option at the top, draw a line down the middle of the paper, write the word “Pro” on the left and “Con” on the right. Now list the positives and negatives of making that particular decision. Repeat the same process for your other option and compare the two.

Now, make a decision. It’s as simple as that.

Once you make a decision, it’s over. You can move on with your life. It’s like a weight has been lifted off of your shoulders. So stop waiting and start living.
