Dads are the best. From jokes to every other type of humor imaginable, these guys take the cake. Here are 10 Pictures that Prove Dads Will Always Be…

1. Dressing up your son a Joe Rogan for his first Halloween

He knows how to do Halloween right. This baby is probably discussing some conspiracy theories right now.

2. They are notoriously creative problem solvers

Where there is a will, there is a way. Sometimes a good old fashion tie-down is all it takes.

3. “Will you put my hair in a bun?”

The epitome of dad jokes summed up in one picture.

4. Kid plunger gets the job done

Someone has to do the dirty work, dad’s got it handled. Mom’s don’t look at this one, please skip.

5. Whatever you do, don’t wake the baby

Stacking cheerios on the baby’s cheek while they are sleeping is a risky business. Mom won’t be too happy if that stack gets unstacked.

6. When you can’t leave the boys hanging

Fortnite even has them hooked and nap time sure isn’t getting in the way.

7. These guys just gotta game

ON YOUR LEFT! This baby has aim lock on that screen and ready to rock.

8. Honey, did you see those kiwi’s I bought yesterday?

Kiwis are delicious.

9. All the ladies love me

We know, we know, teaching some bad values here but be honest, isn’t it funny? Finding creative ways to get your money worth out of those barbies.

10. Bath time with Dad should always be entertaining

Whether you are a new dad or a seasoned dad, these are some useful tips. Here are the Top Dad Tips Every Dad Should Know

Dad dates

One of the simplest and yet most powerful strategies that enable fathers to connect to their children is dad dates. If dad bothers to spend time with each child, one-on-one, it generates an enormous feeling of worthwhileness. We suggest “Law of NOANOK” — No Other Adults, No Other Kids. It means the date involves just dad and just one of the children at a time.

Don’t look at anything as “mom” duties

While there are a lot of good things from our grandparents’ day that we should bring back, the traditional dad/mom split of parenting duties isn’t one of them. Some men still look at certain duties as “mom” duties but don’t be one of those dads. Get involved in everything, and share the load with your baby mama. Changing diapers, giving baths, getting them dressed, even feeding them (you can give them breast milk in a bottle).

So, this is our favorite of the Tips Every Dad Should Know.

Eat together as a family

An important part of healthy family life is bonding through family meals. It gives kids the chance to talk about what they are doing and want to do. It’s also a good time for fathers to listen and be involved. It provides a structure for families to be together each day.

Give them hugs

Dads shouldn’t be afraid to show affection. Kids need physical contact, and not just from their moms. Snuggle with them, hug them, love them.

Let Loose During Play Time

It’s time to start using your charming sense of humor to entertain your little one. Find the fun in goofing around with your baby. Your instincts will guide you to treat your baby like the only person at an amusement.

Teriyaki sauce seems to be one of those flavors that is enjoyed by both adults and kids alike, and this sheet pan dinner makes it easy to get dinner on the table in a snap. The recipe combines a homemade version of the Asian sauce with healthy salmon and vegetables like broccoli, peppers, green beans, and carrots. Make a pot of rice and dinner is done.

Chicken esquites tacos – grilled chicken, topped with street corn elote is an amazing combo that needs to be one everyone’s table right now It’s got such a bright texture, and makes resisting a second taco that much harder!

Being a dad means always being watched by your kids. Sometimes, it may be hard to take time out of your daily routine for special teaching moments. Start by using a few communication skills in front of your kids, you can model excellence for them in every conversation. Here are ways Dads Can Model Communication for Children.

Listen

Listening is a powerful communication skill. Giving your full attention to your children and to other people when they speak is an important way to model listening. It shows your children how to treat people with respect, as well as that they themselves are respected and valued.

Mean “No” When You Say It

Learning to be assertive and set boundaries is an essential skill that some people struggle with throughout their lives. Help your kids develop this skill early by showing them how to resist pressure, and teaching them that they can do the same.

Invite Your Children to Give Their Input for Decisions

Bringing your kids into a decision-making conversation is a great way to teach them to pay attention to how people assess situations and decide how to act. Valuing their own contribution can encourage them to think and contribute more. If you walk them through your own process, they can also learn more about you and how you approach decisions.

Ask For Feedback

Giving your child an open invitation to express anything they might think about you as a parent. This can establish a deep and open dialogue. Along with helping you keep track of your own behaviors and how they affect your teenagers, this is a great way to help your children learn the importance of improvement and openness.

Admit When Wrong

Being straightforward about your mistakes can help your kids understand the appropriate way to handle their own mistakes. It can help them understand that confident people can afford to admit an error when they have to. It is important to understand that you don’t have to hide from your mistakes or act ashamed.

Remember, good communication takes practice, start with these ways Dads Can Model Communication for Children.

Being the father of a teenager isn’t easy, and being a teenager isn’t easy either. Whether you’ve got a teenage son or daughter, their hormones are going to work, turning them into new people that you aren’t familiar with. They’re growing up before your very eyes, and there’s nothing you can do to slow it down. There are, however, things you can do to make the transition easier for both of you Surviving The Teenage Years.

Listen

Sometimes it’s best to listen without the intent to respond. Teenagers have lots of emotions and lots of opinions about a multitude of things. A lot of the time they just need a sounding board to run their ideas past, or someone to vent to. This is where you come in; be there with an open ear, completely tuned in to whatever need your teenager may have, and they’ll take notice. The more you’re there for them, the more they’ll want to come to you when problems arise.

Give Them Space

Teenagers value their privacy, and they aren’t little kids anymore, so give them some. They’re getting ready to be full-fledged adults, and they need to be treated with the same level of respect you would expect from others. As a parent, you can do your best by permitting them to have their door closed at appropriate times, getting away from the family every once in a while, and having their own hobbies separate from everyone else. They’re budding individuals and will blossom if treated as such.

Know When To Hold Your Ground

As easy as it is to want to be your teenager’s friend, it’s not a good idea. Teenagers need the structure that comes with good parenting, and only you can provide that. They will respect your authority much more if you aren’t constantly flipping between wanting to be the ‘cool dad’ and the tough one. In order to hold your teenager’s respect, set fair rules early and abide by them. Be clear and firm with your expectations, and your teenagers will be much more likely to follow your rules.

Raising teenagers is no walk in the park, but it is a very rewarding task that brings immense joy for years to come while surviving the teenage years. When approached with a solid foundation of love and trust, the teenage years can even be fun.

Getting their driver’s license is a rite of passage and something many teens highly anticipate. It can also be a nerve-wracking experience for parents! If you’ve been delegated with the task of teaching your teen to drive, don’t worry. Here are Tips for Teaching Your Teen to Drive so you can be the best teacher and co-pilot for your young driver.

Getting Off to a Good Start

If you try to teach your child to drive in the rain, you’re setting them up for failure. For new drivers, it’s best to start on a clear day and even, dry pavement. Teach them how to deal with hazardous conditions when they’ve had a little more practice.

Explain Things Thoroughly

Your child doesn’t have your years of driving experience, so don’t become frustrated if they don’t understand things right away. If they have a question, answer it to the best of your ability. Some kids learn better through repetition, so don’t get impatient if they need something explained to them again. This is probably the most important out of all these Tips for Teaching Your Teen to Drive.

Be Calm!

When your teen is ready to drive on the road with other cars, it’s natural for you to be tense. However, your child may be just as nervous. If they make a mistake, don’t yell at them! This will only aggravate or upset them.

Drive at a slow pace so that you can easily take the wheel and avoid a dangerous situation. You should also pay extra attention to how other drivers around you are behaving. An aggressive driver encountering an inexperienced driver is a recipe for disaster!

Make it a Positive Experience

Regardless of how well your child performs that day, they’re probably trying their best. That should be rewarded! You don’t have to go overboard: maybe a trip to their favorite fast food place afterward. A little pick-me-up will be well appreciated on difficult days. Here is a good tip, give your teen driver a reward when they do well.

Offer Encouragement

Let them know that they’re doing a good job and that you’re proud of them for trying. Learning to drive requires a lot of practice, which is something only your teen can do for themselves. What you can offer are advice and emotional support!

Good luck and hopefully these Tips for Teaching Your Teen to Drive will help make the experience as smooth as possible!

This is called “mindful eating.” Learn to savor your food so you’ll enjoy it more and feel fuller sooner. You should eat three meals and several snacks to keep your metabolism up all day long. Use a smaller plate to make your meals a little smaller, too. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables at snack time.

While dieting, the more that you want something, the worse that it can be. For this reason, you should give yourself one day or meal a week where you can splurge. However, when doing so, eat a small amount of it. You don’t need to eat four pieces of pizza when one or two will do.
