Advocacy for modern architecture

Advocacy for modern architecture is essential in most Southern California communities. While city codes rarely if ever prohibit the design of a modern home or building, the personalities which control the process at the municipalities often have a strong influence over what finally gets built. Discretionary review is often abused and misused. The unfortunate reality is that their influence often works against modern and contemporary design. An owner should never have to fear proposing a modern building. But many designers find themselves confronted with clients who are justifiably worried about being able to get a non traditional design approved.

We have just uploaded the beta site for modernheritage.org. Now begins the process of slowly fleshing out this labor of love. i have installed google analytics and have submitted a simple sitemap to the search engine. As of yet the website is not on any search engine radar. Hopefully that will change over time
