DAMNOEN SADUAK FLOATING MARKET // ELEPHANT AND CROCODILE FARM AND SHOW

2013-06-08T15:26:00.000+08:00

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Elephant, Crocodile Farm and Show. Damnoen Saduak is about 100 kilometers southwest of Bangkok so your guide will pick you up very early from your hotel in Bangkok City area. You will see the old traditional way of selling, fruits, vegetables, and souvenir items from small boats at the floating market. The exhilarating narrow long tailed speed boat ride through the small canal passing Thai houses will give you much more suspense, fright and excitement than roller coaster gives you. Don't forget to bargain when buying!
I suggest you try Thai Iced/Milk tea! In my case I grab one every time there is a chance because it is a perfect complement to a hot hot hot day.

The elephant and crocodile show is complete with dramatic sound and narration. How elephants work and play, how they were used in battles, and there is also a mock up of war.

We ended up the tour at the Jewelry Factory, I don't know why it is always part of the itinerary, a waste of time. I don't have the money to buy those expensive jewelries, the only part I like in Jewelry Factory/Shops is their complimentary drinks.

BANGKOK 2013 PART 1

2013-06-07T09:54:00.000+08:00

WAT INTHARAWIHAN / The temple of the Standing Buddha

WAT BENCHAMABOPHIT DUSIT VANARAM / The Marble Temple

THINGS TO DO IN BANGKOK. The family went to Bangkok during the first week of May. I don't need to tell you how beautiful Bangkok is because the pictures speaks for itself.

The moment I arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport all I'm wishing is that we also have a beautiful airport to welcome tourist here in Philippines just like in Bangkok. A coach pick us up at the airport and drove us to our hotel. It took us more than an hour to the hotel because of heavy traffic they have in the city but sometimes I'm also thankful to traffic and long coach rides so I can sleep in between sights.

After eating the most spicy meal I had during my stay we started discovering the city, hmmm, I mean the temples. We visited two temples that day the first one is the Wat Intharawihan, or The temple of the Standing Buddha, a Buddhist temple. Our second stop is Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram which is also known as the Marble Temple. It is a Buddhist temple and known as one of Bangkok's most beautiful temple.

BAGASBAS BEACH SURFING

2013-06-05T11:00:00.000+08:00

Bagasbas Beach is my all time favorite playground every time I'm home. I visit this place on a regular basis for picnic, reading magazines, meeting people, taking photographs, daydreaming and relaxing. There is so much fun things to do at the beach and this is the first time I tried surfing. It is really good to do things you never did before. If you have time I suggest you get out the water and have yourself an adventure instead of not having a choice and focusing on your addictions like drinking, smoking, drugs, sex or the internet. This is how I started my summer and I'm excited to share you more about how I'm having fun under the sun.

UST-AMV COA BSMA GRADUATION DAY

2013-04-06T15:04:00.000+08:00

Finally the moment all the students are waiting for. Graduation Day. And that day was filled with smile, laugh and too many goodbyes! Four years flown so fast, as I remember how my first day went in the University. My college life wouldn't be the same and the experience wouldn't have been so memorable without my classmates, friends, best friends and my boyfriend. Their energy and presence pushed me to do my best and to love going to the University every single day. Studying in UST is on of the best thing that happened to me. The place where I met most of the people who are very important to me and also a big part of who I am right now.

I have both my parents, kuyas and ates to celebrate with me after the graduation. Thank you so much for unwavering support for the past four years!

Congratulations Batch 2013!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE

2013-01-01T09:16:00.003+08:00

This is how I celebrated the last half day of 2012 and also my birthday. 2012 has been one crazy ride for me. I had laughters, I had tears, but I can't deny the fact that this year is one of the best and the craziest ride.

THE RED IMAGES

2012-11-25T17:13:00.000+08:00

A glimpse to what we've been busy last week. The first photo is a teaser from the set of photos I had from the graduation photo shoot. At 7:00 in the morning we're already at the RED Images studio, be sure to come early because the make up and photo sessions is in first come first serve basis. When we finished, we're all pretty exhausted yet satisfied with the results, even though there is only about 8 photos I love out of 38 photos. It took us 9 hours to get everything done and went straight to UST to attend class. I'll upload the whole set of photos maybe after a month... and of course the shoot wouldn't be complete without the JEJE photo.

WATCH THE BLOCK

2012-11-11T18:06:00.000+08:00

Some people shop when they are depressed or sad to feel happy for a short time. Yesterday I found out that when it comes to me, it is totally different. I shop when I'm happy. Yesterday, the best friend and I had our early Christmas shopping. We hoarded accessories at Forever21 because of the big discounts that makes it even cheaper than Tiangge or Bazaars. If I were you I will start shopping this early to beat the holiday rush.

CÉLINE is one of the color block pioneers and that's the inspiration of my outfit. I love how you can pair it with such simple classic pieces and look in style right away. Until now I still have a thing for rolling up my pants, I feel more relaxed and walk out in style this way.

Hey guys! I think I need to get back in track of blogging. Sembreak started two weeks ago and I don't know why this break pass so fast.

A little update on what's been going on with my hair from my last visit at the Salon. My Mom wants my hair to be back to black again, the stylist cellophaned my hair it is like a varnish coat applied to my hair to give gloss, shine and color. Of course a little haircut that didn't change the length of the longest strands I have, just a trim on the severely damaged parts of my hair due to coloring and excessive ironing.

The pants/jeggings I'm wearing is one of the few things I bought in Greenhills when we did an itsy-bitsy shopping before leaving Manila. It's comfy and light so expect me to wear it more often.

SUNDATE

2012-10-02T00:15:00.001+08:00

Last Sunday the sister, the best friend and I had a little date after attending the Sunday mass. We had lunch at Chili's, which is one of my favorite restaurant. We ordered big mouth burger (no picture because we get too excited to eat it) and crispy chicken salad (it should be grilled chicken salad but I ordered the wrong salad.) Have you seen the movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower? Not yet? If I were you I'll watch it really really soon! I enjoyed the movie as much as I enjoyed the book. ;) and of course Spanish Sardines and Olives Pasta for the day finale/dinner at Mary Grace, Greenbelt. The interior is perfect and homey, far from the usual Mary Grace I dine at Trinoma.

Spending the day having fun, eating what we please and watching a good movie is my perfect kind of Sunday before hell weeks starts.

BUSTED

2012-09-16T01:47:00.000+08:00

I know I'm lacking updates lately. These photos were taken last month during my 3 days stay back home. I don't know if it's because of the absence of inspiration or it's just because my laptop is BUSTED!!!

At this moment, I should be studying, I'll be having a major quiz tomorrow and I haven't studied anything yet. I don't know, it's just that I don't feel doing anything right now.

DISTURBED

2012-09-10T10:50:00.000+08:00

For the last three months, I've been staying alone in our place here in Manila, because I still have Uni to attend to and my sibs already finished their studies. Now, they're back and I feel a little bit disturbed in my studying habit. Haha, but it's ok at least there's always someone to talk everytime I need one.

Shot this a few minutes before the Sunday mass started. I wore/paired my school shoes with a casual outfit, for the first time, because I only wear it with uniform. This is an outfit I'm so comfortable with, button down, pants and flats. Who wouldn't be? XX

TAKE ME HOME

2012-08-26T18:38:00.000+08:00

It's been a week since I came back from a super short vacation and I already miss the place and the people so much. Catching up with an old friend who I haven't had bonding/long chit chat for almost 8 years is one of the best thing I did during the weekend. Unfortunately, we forgot to take a photo of us together.

Taking outfit photos of my sister in different location consumed my 3-day vacation. I'm her instant photographer and driver, we're always looking for new places as a good background. You can visit her blog here.

And... We celebrated my parents 30th wedding anniversary with a simple breakfast and dinner. I love them so much!

I can't wait to get back home soooon!

BACK TO CAMARINES NORTE

2012-08-19T20:56:00.000+08:00

I'm in Daet, Camarines Norte spending my long weekend at home. An almost 9 hour bus ride is all worth it for a 3 relax/Uni free days. My sister and I consumed the morning by catching up and taking her outfit photos at the gas station. I'm the photographer of the day, that's why I'm wearing one of the comfiest clothes I have. Being reunited with the family has been the perfect way to start this weekend. Hope yours has been pretty fine too.

New heels on the block. Bought these for half the price from Mango. My fingers have been itching to get my hand on this kind of heels since April. Finally I got it last Friday when I'm having grocery and relaxation with myself, Yey! XX

Its been a year since our Singapore trip and it took so long to share our holiday photos. I'm actually wondering why I watermarked/dated some photos with 2010 while in fact the trip was just last year, 2011. I hope you enjoy the memories I shared!

THINGS TO DO ON A RAINY DAY

2012-07-22T11:17:00.000+08:00

Things I actually do on a rainy day? Invite some friends over. Movie marathon. Paint nails. Annoy someone. Read books. But today I choose to play Solitaire.

You, what do you do on a rainy Sunday?

TOMBOY FASHION

2012-07-14T22:10:00.000+08:00

photos by Tommy Ton for www.style.com

There are times when I found men style magazine more interesting than those for women. I'm having a big impact with guys with good sense of style. At the same time also wanting to dress like them or let's just say a little boyish. Tomboy fashion is like feeling a woman and feeling a man at the same time. There is this sense of confidence and rebelliousness you can only find in Tomboy fashion. X

LAST SATURDAY NIGHT AT RUE BOURBON

2012-07-11T08:07:00.002+08:00

DINNER AND DRINKS with friends, sister's partners in crime at Rue Bourbon Bar and Restaurant, Bonifacio Global City. I had a hella good time last night (saturday night), my tired body the next day can definitely tell you the feeling. Guys, you are crazy! X

CLASSIC PIECES

2012-07-09T08:23:00.000+08:00

Not sure about what to wear? Wear classic pieces that never go out of style. Sometimes I'm a bit trendy, but most of the time I prefer beautiful and simple cuts in clothing. If you feel classic style is boring, remember you can always add a little of your personality.

Well hello there new hair color! I never dyed my hair with a shade so much lighter from black since I'm afraid for the outcome. But when boredom strikes, put all your fears aside and go for it! I'm more than happy with the result. You like? X
