This guest strip is created by one of my biggest fans, Christian Lopez. Within one hour after I asked if someone would create a guest strip, he offered to create one and immediately dropped two drawings of Mojo – which was awesome to see, Mojo drawn by someone else.

He was a little doubtfull the joke wouldn’t be as funny as he thought, but every time I read it, I  have to smile. Just can’t help it. To do a fart-joke have passed my mind multiple times, but every time I didn’t really need them and wanted to save them for later. And now Christian beat me to it with this awesome interpretation of a fart-joke.

This was the last guest strip. Next Thursday it’ll be a comic from me again. So see you then!

My colleague and friend Mathijs created this guest comic. Right after I asked for guest strips, he told me he would see if he could create one. He had some trouble thinking of a joke, but eventually came up with this one – which is very funny

I had to promise him his guest comic was published when I truely was on vacation – otherwise it wouldn’t make much sense. So here it is

The creator of this guest strip is my cousin Brian. Since the start of Mojo he is a true follower and often gives good advice or feedback. He offered to make a guest strip using photos instead of drawings, which was fine by me. And this is the result; no Mojo, Ben, Plant or ‘Penguin’ in there… but eventhough funny

For people who don’t know me in person, I’m the guy with the cap and the other guy is my cousin. He shot these pictures two years ago and now decided to make use of it in this guest comic. These pictures are shot by my cousins wife, but he can shoot some awesome photos as well… check them out on his DeviantArt – definitly worth looking!

The first guest strip is created by Ski, the creator of the webcomic BeaverButt – definitly worth a visit. After visiting his comic a while ago, I was really impressed by his linework and use of greytones. And the next day this guest comic dropped in my mailbox – created with the same impressive linework and use of grey.
It was totally unexpected, but it is so much appreciated.

And it also shows a little of Mojo’s hidden personality… he just can help it to sometimes be a cat

This comic took me longer than expected. I wanted to do something more with the huge backlog you usually have to read through when you come back from a vacation or a long trip. And after the RSS-backlog, Twitter was the obvious next candidate. But yeah. What to do. Eventually I brainstormed some with my girlfriend and came to this joke.

When you guys all read this, I’ll be sitting in front of my tent in France. Nipping on some orange juice and eating some baguette (french bread), in the sun. But luckily I got overwhelmed with guest strips and I can offer you guys a total of 4!

It’s funny how the ideas for the comic flow. Last week I had only one rough idea, but I knew I needed more. So I started to do the dishes. Yeah, that’s mostly the time I get my ideas. Or by doing the dishes or by vacuuming the house. My girlfriend really loves it if I have a creative blockade

But ok, I just only had one idea. But suddenly I had a couple ideas and my original idea had even to be postponed because these new ideas had to take place before that. To make a long story short, this comic is one of the newly thought of ideas.

And I like it. Especially how Ben hangs on the couch. It’s just Ben and he’s bored

Guest comic update: I have received 2 guestcomics as we speak. I know another one is on it’s way. So my holiday buffer is pretty solid now. I like!

Really enjoy how Ben looks with the beard. But it’s not really time for him yet to have a bearded-face. I’m also very pleased with how Ben’s hair turned out. It’s a little make-over, but really love how it is now.

As you may notice, I tried some different setup for the comic. Not the regular side-view, but just playing a little with the perspective. Especially reading the posts on dresdencodak.tumblr.com inspired me a lot to play more with my comics… think more freely and experiment more. So that’s what I’m gonna try to do. Sometimes it will just be the good-old plane sideview, but sometimes it will be a different perspective. I hope you like the experiments and I will try – of course – to not let the experiments take down the storyline or the comic.
