1. Professional Impression: If you’re investing in a professional website you need a pro head shot to keep a professional look throughout. Your website is often the “first impression” somebody has of you/your business. So make sure your head shots are making a good impression!
2. Be YOU: Social media marketing IS HUGE! One of my favorite things to say (and you can ask my workshop attendees this) is “YOU are what sets your business apart.” People will book with YOU because they like YOU.
3. Building Credibility: Are there a lot of competing businesses in your area offering a similar product? Again, set yourself apart by being YOU. I specialize in making sure your head shots reflect who you are. Put search terms with your photos online so professional photos show up when somebody goes to google search you/your business name.
4. Building Trust: If you offer a service (design, photography, massage, acting, cleaning etc.) clients want to know they can trust who they are working with. Clients want to be able to put a face with your work & see that you are a real live person that they want to get to know and work with.
5. Being Memorable: Ever go to a conference, grab a business card, look at it later and say to yourself “who was this again?!” (this has especially happened to me when there are say 10 different ladies selling Mary Kay) … On your marketing materials put a head shot of you on one side! When people see your card they will go “ohhhh I remember her! She was SO fun & nice! I’ll have to give her a call.”
