All of hubbub surrounding this issue made me feel guilty about my "I <3 Ohio" pendants, so I don't think I'll make them anymore. I never even saw that Etsy artist's stuff before. Honestly, I think the state with a heart cut out is pretty common these days, but whatever. I'm over it.

Knitting for Zoe

My baby girl has teeny feet, so I've been knitting some slippers for her. I made up the pattern myself! I'm working on the 2nd of the pair, but not at this exact moment....I have a baby sleeping in my arms!

I would love to sell my knitting, but not with all of the dog hair in the house. :)

Teething Bling

This is actually jewelry-related!

I bought this "Teething Bling" necklace at Sprout Soup today. The donut shaped pendant looks like a stone or metal, but it's actually baby-safe rubbery plastic. It hangs on a fabric cord, which is also baby-safe, as long as mama is wearing it.

I bought this because Zoe is always tugging on, and trying to eat my necklaces. Now I welcome that behavior! She likes my teething bling, but the cord is already soggy. That may be the only drawback. We shall see!

I wonder if there is some way to make baby-friendly nearly with sterling? It's probably out there...
