I received a copy of each book below for my review and was very pleased with the books, both content and quality. My daughter is a little old for the books (she is 7), but she even enjoyed sitting down and reading them to me. I'm planning to pass them onto a little boy in our family that would really enjoy them because he loves knights and horses. He's going into kindergarten this fall so these are perfect for him to start practicing reading and moving up as he learns. Plus the books all have a positive message so that is a big plus in my book. All to often cartoons and even the books about them are not really child appropriate in my mind.

Do you have trouble falling asleep at night? As much as I hate to admit it I do, sometimes several nights a week. Let me tell you with two kids it's not fun. When I heard about ZzzQuil and the opportunity to give it a try first hand I was very excited. So I signed up and anxiously awaited for my sample to come. Much to my surprise I received a full size bottle for my review. It reminded me of the good ole NyQuil bottles we all know and love during cold season. I think that in itself made me feel a little more confident about trying it out. It came in a warming berry flavor which was actually pretty good (well except for the night I took it after brushing my teeth, not so good!). I don't think I fell asleep any faster than usual, but maybe that was because both times I tried it I took it as I was heading to bed and not ahead of time. I did seem to stay asleep for a longer period of time than usual after I did fall asleep however which lead me to waking up feeling more rested than usual. That in itself is a big positive for me. Since I still have some left I'm going to try taking it a little ahead of my bed time and see if that helps with falling asleep faster.

I had the opportunity to try out the new Dial® Kids Body & Hair Wash for both age groups. I didn't really notice a difference in the cleaning power of them, but the 2+ was a bit milder in scent it seemed. I assume this is due to it being for younger children to avoid any reactions to a strong scent. My daughter is 7 and she loved the scent of the Berry Cool version for her age. My favorite part is that it's tear-free so I don't have to panic if it gets in her eyes during washing or rinsing. Instead of doing a giveaway this time around I took the opportunity to donate the extra coupons I was sent to a local organization that helps with the needs of children in less fortunate homes. I don't know about you but it breaks my heart when I see kids out in public or at my kids schools that obviously haven't had a good bath in a long time. My Take:
This stuff is wonderful. I honestly haven't seen my stainless steel sink shine this way in a really long time. I've always been worried about using cleaners that might scratch the surface, but this one is a gel which makes it completely safe for all surfaces. No worrying about scratching anything! The other part I liked was that it didn't have a super strong chemical or cleaner smell like some cleaners do. Looks like I'll be switching up my kitchen cleaner!

My Take:
I'm probably high on the list of those that "say" they want to diet, but never really follow through. I'm not super overweight, but I haven't ever lost all the "baby fat" from my daughter (who is now 7 I must point out). So when I was given the opportunity to receive and give an honest review on this book I thought sure why not. I figured it would be something that would give me the needed incentive to actually stick with a diet plan. So I did it, well I should say I AM doing it. I say that because it took me a little longer than I anticipated to read the book so I started a little later than the original plan. This is one of those things where you must read the entire book first. If you don't parts of the 28 day journey will not make sense and you may be tempted to veer off from the path. Next look through the recipes and make a list of everything you will need to pick up at the store so you are ready to get started and stay on track once you start. So far I have been following the book (almost to a "T") for the last 2.5 weeks. I won't lie and say it's been easy, it is definitely something new and different than I have ever tried. But with the increased energy and way I'm feeling I am determined to stick with the plan the best I can for the full 28 days. I've already lost a few pounds and can actually tell it around my waist, which to me says more than anything. Now to just keep at it and continue to see the results is my goal. The other positive is it's helped me plan better meals for my family which keeps them healthier in the process! I see that as a win/win for everyone.

My Take:
When I got the information for this post I really took some time and just thought about the question: "What does home mean to you?". Some of the things that went through my mind at that point were of course my family, my surroundings, and just the feeling I get being inside my home. Until you get that special feeling when you walk through the front door of your house, it's just that a house. It's not until you've lived there and created memories that it becomes something more..a home. For me it's not just about what's inside my home, it's who is inside my home making memories in it with me.

About a year ago this time I stumbled upon a website called Blog Friendly PR. After a little reading I new it was a group I wanted to be a part of. I jumped in right away and started my subscription so I could get access to all of the elite membership benefits. I got access to tons of great PR opportunities and premium boards on the forum. The forums contain pitches from PR, PR contact information and many more! A great part about the forums is you can talk to other bloggers and get advice from them on how to do things on your blog. A huge part of blogging is blogger outreach and through Blog Friendly PR you can do just that. Of course my favorite part however is getting so many great pitches from all sorts of great companies. Campbell's Slow Kettle Style Soups Review #SlowDownAndSavor

I remember as a child growing up on Campbell's soups. That was the first thing I wanted whenever I was sick, a nice warm bowl of chicken noodle soup! I honestly can't believe how far Campbell's has come from those basic soups I remember growing up on. Now they have what I would consider gourmet soups ready to serve after being warmed in the microwave. And let me tell you it doesn't take away from the taste at all. I don't think anyone would know if you didn't tell them that these soups weren't homemade. For this review I was sent my choices of soups to try. One of them I tried was the Roasted Chicken & Chardonnay with Fire-Roasted Tomatoes, Aged Parmesan & Pasta, I have to say I was very excited at all the yummy stuff that was packed into the bowl. The names of the soups really do tell you exactly what to expect. And the best part was after I finished my bowl of soup it didn't leave me feeling hungry and wanting more. I was actually content and full. And thanks to the comfy socks I received with my soups I was also toasty warm from my tummy to my toes!

My Take:Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! is one of the cartoons that my daughter watches that I don't want to pull my hair out with. He's actually informative and funny even to adults.
