Alright friend—grab your caffeine and your courage. This one’s for us.

My birthday was a couple months ago, so in honor of my 48th trip around the sun, I grabbed a cute notebook, a pretty pen, and made myself a wildly imperfect promise:

This is the year I’m going to do life scared.
Not perfectly. Not with a detailed blueprint.
Just courage, caffeine, and the kind of messy action that makes life feel real again.

No more shrinking. No more waiting for the “right moment.” No more letting fear sit in the front seat, calling the shots. She’s been driving long enough.

So this year? I’m putting her in the back. She can ride along if she must, but I’m the one with the hands on the wheel. I’m driving—with messy bravery, shaky hands, and a sparkle in my eye.

This post is my line in the sand. My declaration. My promise to myself.

It’s 48 ways I’m planning to show up scared this year—on purpose. Some will be tiny steps, some might feel like full-on free falls. Some will stretch me, and a few will probably make me want to hide under a blanket fort and live out the rest of my days. But I’m doing them anyway.

Because I don’t want another year to go by waiting to feel ready. I want to feel alive.

So if you’re craving more courage, more realness, more you in your life—let this be your permission slip too. One step. One scared, shaky YES at a time.

Let’s go, friend. Glitter pen in hand. Heart wide open. Fear can come, but she doesn’t get to lead.

Let’s go.

Saying “yes” before I feel ready. I will LITERALLY never be ready. So I’m just going for it.

Launching that thing I’ve been dreaming about for years. It’s happening. Like next month.

Speaking up when something bothers me – instead of stewing in silence. I’ve been quiet too long and let too many things slide. No more of that.

Swapping the leggings and hoodie for full on glam.
Because sometimes the boldest thing you can do is show up as the most extra version of yourself… on a Tuesday.

Asking for help.
Hardest. Thing. Ever. But also—most freeing.

Re-launching a podcast.
Because I’ve got stories and someone out there needs to hear them.

Walking into rooms where I don’t know a soul.
And reminding myself I belong.

Dancing. In public. With zero shame.
Look, the beat dropped. What was I supposed to do?

Pitching myself.
To brands, to podcasts, to people I admire. Fear says “who do you think you are?” Confidence says, “I’m me. That’s enough.”

Letting go of the “perfect mom” myth.
We’re all just winging it. My kids are loved SO much. That’s what matters.

Booking the trip.
No overthinking. Just YES.

Letting people see the messy middle.
There’s magic in all that mess.

Publishing my first book—because raising twins is a story that needs to be told. And if I’ve lived through it, I might as well write about it.

Going live on Instagram with no makeup and no script.
Raw is real. Real is powerful.

Be consistent with my Meditation practice
There is nothing scarier than the stillness of your own thoughts.

Reading self-help books out loud to my kids.
I do this. They roll their eyes. It’s our thing.

Ditching toxic people—guilt-free.
Unfollow. Unfriend. If it doesn’t feel like peace, it’s not my place.

Posting the thing even when I feel cringe.
Cringe today, confidence tomorrow.

Trying new foods (aka living life on the edge for a girl who orders the same thing every time).
It’s basically skydiving… for my taste buds.

Saying “no” without explaining.
Boundaries, baby. And no is a complete sentence anyway.

Trying a new hobby I’m terrible at.
Coding, watercolor, photography…count me in.

Practice saying “I don’t know” without shame.
Because curiosity is powerful. Perfectionism is not.

Learning a new language.
Awkward, humbling, and wildly empowering. Growth looks like mispronunciations and proud little victories.

Visualize my future self every day.
And make one small decision daily that moves me towards her.

Letting go of the 10-year plan.
Because sometimes magic lives in the right now.

Take a Yoga Class. Awkward. Inflexible. But learning, growing and showing up anyway.

Trusting myself.
No more overthinking, second-guessing or waiting for outside validation.

Creating community—my way.
Messy, real, soul-deep. That’s how I roll.

Taking up space on purpose.
Because I’m not shrinking to fit anyone’s comfort zone.

Talking money—out loud.
Wealth is not a dirty word. And I want LOTS of it.

Doing a solo trip—even just one night away.
Just me, a good book, snacks I don’t have to share, and the kind of silence that feels like self-love.

Making new friends as an adult.
Yes, it’s awkward. No, I’m not stopping.

Trying strength training.
Because feeling strong in your body spills into every other area of life.

Raising my kids to believe in limitless possibilities—
and choosing to be the living, breathing example of that truth.

Creating digital products—even if no one buys (yet).
Every creation is a win.

Let go of the need to control everything.
That’s the real work.

Turning off my phone for an entire day (or weekend).
And facing the quiet.

Telling my story—unfiltered.
Because someone out there is waiting for a “me too.”

Forgive someone—truly.
Not for them. For me.

Spend time in nature, barefoot.
Reconnect to the earth, to what matters.

Speak kindly to myself even when I mess up.
Instead of spiraling into shame, say, “That was human of me. I’m learning.”

Looking in the mirror and saying “I love you.”
Cringe? A little. Powerful? Hugely.

Throwing out clothes that don’t fit this version of me.
She deserves to feel good now.

Spending time building my bookish YouTube channel, This Cozy Chapter—because talking to a camera still feels awkward, but sharing my love for stories lights me up more than fear ever could.

Getting honest with myself about money and admitting where I can do better. Awareness is power.

Choosing rest without guilt.
My worth is not tied to productivity.

Releasing the shame I’ve been dragging around like a suitcase full of “shoulds.” It’s heavy. It’s old. And I’m not carrying it anymore.

Believing that the best is still ahead.
Always. Because it is. I feel it. And fear doesn’t get to stop me anymore.

And that’s the list!

48 brave moments for the rest of 2025. 48 reminders that fear doesn’t get to write the story anymore.

Not because I’m waking up fearless each day. But because I finally realized that brave doesn’t mean never scared—it means you show up anyway. You shake and still speak. You sweat and still start. You question everything and still take the next step.

If you’re sitting there feeling like your dream is too big, or your confidence is too shaky, or your timeline is too messy—you are not too late. Your list can start with one small brave thing. One YES that’s just for you.

Start the list.
Take the leap.
Wear the lipstick.
Book the trip.
Say the thing.

Let’s live wide open this year. You in?

XO,

Have you ever felt like you were meant for more, but something keeps holding you back? Like you know deep down you have big ideas, big goals, or even just a big desire to do something different… but instead, you second-guess yourself, hesitate, or overthink every little detail?

Same. Been there. Done that.

That little voice in your head that whispers, “You’re not ready,” “What if you fail?” or “Who do you think you are to want more?” — yeah, we’re shutting that down.

Because here’s the truth, mama, YOU ARE READY. You just need a little nudge (or, let’s be real, a good loving shove) to start stepping into your limitless self.

If you’re ready to stop playing small and actually start taking action on the life you want—keep reading. Because I have something just for you.

Why Do We Hold Ourselves Back?

I LOVE hyping other people up—cheering them on, reminding them how incredible they are, and watching them step into their greatness. That’s my jam. But when it comes to myself? Yeah… that’s a whole different story.

Why is the world is it SO easy to cheer on everyone else but doubt ourselves?

So many moms I talk to have these incredible dreams—starting a business, writing a book, traveling, creating something meaningful—but when it comes to actually doing it?

Full stop.

Why? Because self-doubt loves to show up with:
“I don’t have enough time.”
“I don’t know what I’m doing.”
“My dreams can wait.”
“What if I fail?”

But guess what? The only thing actually stopping you is your own mindset—and that? We’re about to flip that script.

Step 1: Get Real About Where You’re Playing Small

Before you can change the game, you gotta see where you’re shrinking yourself.

Ask yourself:
Where am I hesitating to take up space?
What’s something I secretly want, but I talk myself out of?
If I wasn’t afraid, what’s one bold move I’d make today?

Write it down. No judgment, just awareness—because once you see it, you can change it.

Step 2: Stop Waiting Until You Feel Ready

The time will NEVER be right and you’re NEVER going to feel 100% ready.

Confidence isn’t something you wait for—it’s something you build by taking action before you feel ready.

Think about it—how do your kids learn to do anything? They stumble, wobble, and probably make a mess of it before they get it right. But do they stop? Not a chance.

And neither should you.

Today I challenge you to take ONE small, bold action toward something you’ve been putting off. Even if it’s tiny. Even if it scares you.

Because the fastest way to start feeling confident? Start DOING the thing.

Step 3: Own Your Desires—Without Guilt

Repeat after me: Wanting more for yourself does NOT make you selfish. You are allowed to do more, be more and have more in this life.

As moms, we pour SO much into our families that when we even think about doing something for ourselves, that sneaky mom guilt kicks in.

But guess what? Your dreams matter SO much. Your kids need to see you going after what lights you up—because that teaches them they can do the same.

So today, I want you to own your desires— without guilt.

What do you truly want? Say it out loud. Write it down. Claim it.

Again, You are allowed to want more. You are allowed to take up space. Period.

Step 4: Rewrite the Script

Most people see fear and think, “Welp, that’s a sign I should stop.”

No, no, NO. Fear isn’t a stop sign—it’s a green light telling you that you’re stepping into something bigger than you’ve ever done before.

Next time fear creeps in, flip it:
Instead of “What if I fail?” → Ask “What if this actually works?”
Instead of “I’m not ready.” → Say “I can figure it out.”
Instead of “This is scary.” → Remind yourself “This is proof I’m growing.”

Fear is just your comfort zone getting stretched. Embrace it.

Step 5: Step Into Your Future Self

Think about the next-level version of you—the one who has already crushed self-doubt and started living the life she wants.

How does she think?
How does she show up?
What actions does she take daily?

You don’t have to wait to be her—you can start showing up like her TODAY.

Start making decisions like she would. Take action like she would. She already exists – you just have to step into her shoes.

Want Extra Support? I’ve Got You Covered!

I know how hard it can be to push past fear and step into confidence. That’s exactly why I created The Limitless Mom Challenge—and right now, you can get it for FREE as part of the Spring Into Success Giveaway!

Let’s talk about real abundance—the kind that fills your soul with magic, not just your Amazon cart.

When we hear “abundance,” our minds often jump to huge mansions, dream vacations, and walk-in closets the size of a small country.

But true abundance? It’s not about hoarding designer bags or having a 10-car garage. It’s about feeling deeply fulfilled, knowing you are enough, and realizing the magic that already exists in your life.

Because let’s be real—plenty of people have stuff but still feel REALLY empty. And plenty of people live simply but feel like they’re living in absolute abundance.

So, how do we cultivate that kind of abundance? Let’s dive in.

1. Define Abundance Your Way

First things first: What does abundance actually mean to you?

Forget society’s definition of bigger, better, more. Let go of the idea that abundance is measured by luxury cars, walk-in closets, or the latest kitchen gadget or appliance promising to change your life (unless the stove preps, cooks and serves the meal while I kick back with a good book, I’ll pass )

And while we’re at it, forget the picture-perfect Instagram feeds showing immaculate homes, designer wardrobes, and perfectly plated meals. That’s not abundance—that’s a highlight reel.

Now, take a deep breath and zoom in on your life.

What truly makes you feel full?

What moments, experiences, and simple joys make you pause and think, this is enough?

Maybe it’s the freedom to work from home while snuggling your little ones.

Maybe it’s curling up with a good book and a hot cup of coffee in a space that feels peaceful and yours.

Maybe it’s knowing you have time for what lights you up—whether that’s creating, traveling, or just having slow, quiet mornings.

True abundance isn’t something you need to chase. It’s something you define for yourself—and, chances are, it’s already closer than you think.

2. Focus on What You Already Have

Abundance isn’t something you get—it’s something you notice. It’s not about waiting until you have more, do more, or achieve more. It’s about realizing how much you already have right now.

We live in a world that constantly tells us to chase the next big thing—the bigger house, the dream vacation, the fancier car. And while there’s nothing wrong with wanting more, true abundance starts when you stop focusing on what’s missing and start appreciating what’s present.

Take a moment to flip your perspective. Ask yourself:

Do I have a safe, warm place to call home?
Is there food in my fridge and water to drink?
Are there people in my life who care about me?
Do I have the ability to learn, create, and dream big?

These might seem like simple things, but they’re literally EVERYTHING. There are people in the world who would trade places with you in a heartbeat just for these essentials.

Gratitude isn’t just a “let’s make ourselves feel good” practice—it’s powerful. It rewires your brain to recognize the abundance that already exists, right here, right now. And the more you see it, the more it grows.

So today, instead of focusing on what you don’t have, take a second to appreciate what you do. You might just realize you’re already so much richer than you thought.

3. Step Out of Scarcity Mode

Scarcity is really such a bitch. It’s that nagging voice whispering, There’s never enough. Never enough time, money, success, opportunity, love, joy, you name it. It keeps you stuck, always chasing and wanting more.

Try this instead:

Flip the script. Instead of saying, “I can’t afford this,” try, “I’m choosing to spend my money differently right now.” Or even better—ask yourself, “How can I afford this?” I heard this on a podcast years ago and it stuck with me. This simple shift moves you from a mindset of lack to one of possibility, helping you see opportunities instead of limitations.

Ditch the ‘just in case’ clutter. Hoarding things (or ideas, or opportunities) out of fear keeps you tied to lack. Trust that what you need will come. We just went through our entire house over the last week and filled a dumpster with the “just in case” clutter and it feels SO much lighter. If you haven’t worn it, used it or thought about it in 6 months, let it go.

Believe in expansion. When you shift your perspective and start being open to receiving, you’ll find LIMITLESS amounts of love, success, opportunity, creativity, etc. Possibility is everywhere.

4. Make Room for More of What Matters

Abundance isn’t about cramming more into your life—it’s about making space for what truly matters. It’s not about filling every corner of your home, your calendar, or your mind with stuff—it’s about intentionally choosing what deserves to be there.

I personally love open, clutter-free spaces in my home—empty drawers, clear countertops, open cabinets, and bare walls. There’s just something about the breathing room that makes everything feel lighter, calmer, and more intentional.

Declutter your space. Look around—out of all the things you own, what is actually adding value to your life? Clear out the things that no longer serve you so you can create a home that feels peaceful instead of overwhelming.

Declutter your schedule. You don’t have to say yes to everything, no matter who is asking (family, friends, etc). Prioritize the things that light you up and say no (without guilt!) to what drains you. Always being busy isn’t a badge of honor – intentionality is.

Declutter your mind. Let go of negative self-talk, comparison, and limiting beliefs. Make room for self-compassion, confidence, and a mindset that supports the life you want to live.

When you intentionally clear space, you make room for better—more joy, more peace, more moments that actually matter.

5. Give Because You Can

Want to feel abundant instantly? Give.

But it isn’t just about giving money—you can give of your time, energy, and kindness as well. It’s about showing up for others in big and small ways, knowing that generosity creates a ripple effect.

Share your time and skills. Help a friend with a project, mentor someone, or offer your expertise without expecting anything in return.

Offer kindness and encouragement. A genuine compliment, a kind message, or a simple “I see you, and you’re doing amazing” can change someone’s day.

Help where you can. Hold the door, pay for a stranger’s coffee, donate what you no longer need. Generosity reminds you that there is always enough to go around.

Abundance flows when you trust that giving doesn’t deplete you—it expands you. And when you give from a place of knowing you already have enough, life finds a way to give back to you tenfold.

Note to Self: You Are Already Abundant

The secret to abundance? It was never about getting more. It’s about feeling more—more present, more grateful, more open to life’s possibilities. (And there are SO many possibilities!)

You don’t need a million dollars, a dream house, or a picture-perfect life to feel abundant. You need perspective.

Abundance is already here. You just have to see it.

Your Next Step:

Look around you right now. What’s one thing that makes you feel abundant? Drop it in the comments, or better yet, write it down as a reminder that you already have more than enough.

Hey mama, have you ever felt like your confidence, success, or even just your happiness made someone else uncomfortable? Like you finally decided to go after something big, and suddenly…..people got all weird and stuff?

Maybe they didn’t clap when you expected them to. Maybe they threw a passive-aggressive comment your way. Or maybe they just kinda… vanished.

And for a hot second, you thought, Maybe I should reel it in, tone it down… Maybe I should shrink just a little…

No. Absolutely not.

The real truth is, your light is going to irritate some people. Not because you’re too much or doing something wrong. It’s because they haven’t given themselves permission to shine yet.

And guess what? THAT IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM.

So let’s talk about how to own your magic, stop worrying about who can’t handle it, and finally feel FREE to be who you are. You ready? Let’s do this.

Step 1: Get Super Clear About Who You Really Are

Before you can own your magic, you’ve gotta know what makes you magical. And no, I don’t mean your ability to find the missing sock your kid swore wasn’t in the laundry basket (but seriously, how do we do that?).

Like, if I took away every expectation, every “should,” and every fear of what other people think…

What do you actually want out of life?
What makes you excited to get out of bed?
What part of you have you been shrinking because you’re worried about making others uncomfortable?

Here are a few more journal prompts to help you dig deeper. (Because self-awareness is everything. Literally)

If I could design my dream life without limitations, what would it look like?

What are three things I’ve always been passionate about, even as a kid?

What activities make me feel the most alive, energized, and happy?

Where do I feel most like myself? (At home, in nature, working on a project, with certain people?)

If I stopped worrying about what people think, what would I do differently?

What drains me? What do I keep doing just because I think I “should”?

Most of us have spent our whole lives playing it safe, trying to be “just enough”—not too much, not too loud, not too bold.

But you were never meant to be small.

So let’s stop that nonsense and start being the YOU that you were always meant to be.

Step 2: No More Apologies for Taking Up Space

I can’t even count the number of times I’ve swallowed my words, tiptoed around my own truth, or apologized for things that didn’t even require an apology.

I’ve stayed quiet when little digs were made about me, my choices, or my family—just to “keep the peace.” I’ve said “sorry” for things I wasn’t even remotely sorry for. I’ve made myself small, dimmed my excitement, and held back… all because I didn’t want to inconvenience someone else or make them uncomfortable.

And I’m pretty sure I’m not alone. Somewhere along the way, we picked up this lie that we should make ourselves smaller so other people feel more comfortable.

I call B.S. on that.

You’re not too loud.
You’re not too much.
You’re not “bragging” for being proud of yourself.

Your happiness? Your confidence? Your success? It doesn’t take anything away from anyone else.

So why do we feel guilty for celebrating ourselves?

From now on, I want you to:
Stop over-explaining your choices. You don’t need to justify why you’re chasing your dreams.
Stop dimming your excitement. If something makes you happy, SHOUT ABOUT IT.
Stop playing small to make others comfortable. You weren’t made to fit in—you were made to stand out.

Step 3: Find (and Use) That Beautiful Voice of Yours

If you’ve ever hesitated before saying what you really think because you’re worried about how people will react… I totally get it. It’s scary to speak up, but the truth is, the more you use your voice, the easier it gets.

Try this:
Instead of saying, “I don’t know, maybe…”—say, “Here’s what I think.”
Instead of “I’m not an expert, but…”—say, “This is what I’ve learned.”
Instead of shrinking in conversations—OWN your truth.

Get into the habit of practicing daily self-expression:

Share an honest opinion (without softening it or apologizing).
Ask for what you need (without feeling guilty).
Set a boundary (even if it’s uncomfortable).
Post something online that reflects your true self (instead of just what they think people want to hear).
Speak up in a conversation (instead of holding back).

Will some people not like it? Probably.

But you’re not for everyone—and that’s a good thing.

Your people—the ones who love you, get you, and celebrate you? They will show up.

And the ones who don’t? Well… bless and release.

Step 4: Stop Seeking Approval from People Who Don’t Get It

Oof. This one’s hard.

So many of us have spent years looking for validation, permission, and approval before we do anything “big.” But you know what?

You DO NOT need permission to live the life you want.

Not everyone is going to get your dreams. Not everyone is going to understand why you’re starting a business, homeschooling your kids, or changing directions.

And that’s okay.

Because they don’t have to get it.

The only person who needs to be on board with your dreams? YOU.

It starts by recognizing WHERE you’re seeking approval.

Whose approval am I constantly chasing?

Do I hold back on decisions because I’m afraid of what others will think?

Have I ever changed my mind about something I truly wanted because of someone else’s opinion?

Do I get anxious when someone disapproves of my choices?

Once you start identifying patterns that are keeping you small, it’s that much easier to break free.

So let’s stop worrying about what “they” think and start asking:

Does this feel right for me?
Is this the life I want?
Am I proud of how I’m showing up?

If the answer is YES, then keep going.

Step 5: Anticipate the Resistance

Here’s the truth, friend: Not everyone will celebrate your growth or love the new, confident version of you. Keep going anyway.

Some people might:
Make snarky comments.
Act weird when you talk about your business or new goals.
Distance themselves when you start leveling up.

And you know what? That’s not a reflection of you.

Some things to remember:

Recognize that Resistance = Growth: Pushback is just confirmation that you are evolving.

Normalize losing people along the way: not everyone is meant to come with you on this journey.

Stop taking other people’s reactions personally: people project their own insecurities onto others. If your confidence, success, or happiness triggers them, it’s usually because they’re struggling with their own.

Surround yourself with people you aspire to be like: Follow people that inspire you, join a community of like-minded women (like Mom Masterminds!! LOL) and cut out or limit time with people who belittle your choices without first trying to understand.

Keep going.
Keep growing.
Keep showing up as the fullest version of YOU.

Some people will cheer you on. Some won’t. And it’s all good.

Final Thoughts: Your Voice is SO Needed

At the end of the day, your light is needed in this world.

Your voice.
Your talents.
Your energy.

Some people will be inspired by you. Others will be irritated by you. Shine anyway.

Because for every person who gets uncomfortable, there’s another woman out there who sees you and thinks, “If she can do it, maybe I can too.”

You inspire people you don’t even know are watching.

So don’t dim yourself. Don’t shrink. Don’t play small just to keep others comfortable.

Shine anyway, mama.

Now tell me—what’s one way you’re stepping into your light this year? Drop it in the comments or come hang out in the Mom Masterminds Heartbeat Community so I can hype you up!

Okay, let’s be real for a second—moms are magical creatures. We make snacks appear out of thin air, locate lost shoes with our superhuman mom-radar, and somehow survive on coffee and leftovers from our kids’ plates. But you know what we’re terrible at? Investing in ourselves.

We pour so much into our kids—their activities, education, healthy meals, and fun experiences—yet when it comes to our own growth, dreams, and well-being, we tend to push it to the back burner. But here’s the truth: when we invest in ourselves, we become better moms, better business owners, and better versions of who we were meant to be.

For years (seriously, YEARS, like an embarrassing amount of time) I was in the thinking about it but taking zero action phase. I had all these amazing ideas, but instead of doing anything, I just scrolled Pinterest, made vision boards, and thought, “Wow, someday.”

So after years of “someday” I finally decided to stop overthinking and take action— Over the last 6 months I’ve been working on and off with a business coach and let me tell you… GAME. CHANGER. It has completely transformed the way I approach my goals and I went from spinning my wheels (again, for years) to finally seeing the path I needed to take. Instead of overthinking and second guessing, I started to make actual progress.

Here’s what coaching helped me do:

I finally have clarity – No more jumping from idea to idea like a squirrel on espresso.
I have confidence – I’m showing up for myself like never before.
I have a strategy – Instead of winging it, I have an actual plan to reach my goals.

But having someone in my corner—someone who could see my blind spots, challenge my mindset, and push me to take action—has made all the difference.

And now, I’m diving head first into full-time coaching for the next 6 months and I am over the moon excited.

I have some really big, terrifying goals on my heart—ones that will stretch me, challenge me, and push me outside my comfort zone. And I know that by continuing to invest in myself, they are absolutely within reach.

Some of those goals?

Expanding Mom Masterminds into a thriving, engaged community that empowers moms to step outside their comfort zones and live aligned, fulfilling lives.
Growing my VA business, Freedom-Focused Mom VA, to bring in consistent income while helping other moms do the same.
Pursuing an even bigger vision for my family’s future, one that involves adventure, freedom, and living life on our own terms.

These aren’t just vague dreams anymore—they’re real, actionable goals, and I’m bringing them to life.

Ways to Invest in Yourself Today!

I get it—not everyone is looking for a coach, and that’s totally okay. But the good news? There are countless ways to invest in yourself every single day through small, intentional actions that add up in a big way. Here are a few:

Read books that inspire you – And no, Goodnight Moon for the 500th time doesn’t count. Grab something that fuels your growth.
Listen to uplifting podcasts – Trade in the constant loop of Paw Patrol theme songs for something that motivates you. Your brain will thank you.
Journal your thoughts – Sometimes the best way to figure out what you want is to just write it all down.
Take time for yourself – A nap. A solo walk. A shower without a tiny human banging on the door. It all adds up.
Learn something new – Take an online course, watch YouTube tutorials, or dive into a new skill that excites you.
Find your people – Surround yourself with women who inspire, support, and challenge you to level up. The right community is everything.

You Deserve This

I don’t care how long your to-do list is, how many baskets of laundry are staring you down, or how many snacks your kids have asked for today (it’s at least 1542).

You are worth the investment.

So take the first step. Read the book. Join the group. Learn the skill. Work with the coach.

Your dreams deserve your attention. And trust me—once you start betting on yourself, everything starts to shift in ways you never imagined.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some big goals to crush. And probably a fight or two to break up and some snacks to make.

Cheering you on!!

March has always felt like the real New Year to me! January is basically recovering from the holidays, February is a test run, but March? March is where the magic happens. It’s the month of new beginnings, fresh starts, and shaking off whatever has been weighing you down. (Also the month we order a dumpster to get rid of all the crap we’ve somehow accumulated lol)

Three years ago, I made one of the biggest changes of my life—I quit drinking. March symbolized a reset, a chance to clear out what wasn’t serving me and step into something better. Over the last six months, I let some of my progress slide. A few drinks here and there—holidays, weekends, casual moments. Sometimes I kick myself, but in the end, I’m grateful for the backwards slide because it showed me EXACTLY what I wasn’t missing. Every. Single. Time.

So here I am, recommitting to the version of myself I know I want to be. And if you’re feeling like it’s time to press the reset button on your own life, you’re in the right place.

Let’s talk about spring cleaning your life—because if you’re feeling scattered, exhausted, or just off, it’s probably time to declutter more than just your closet.

How to GYST (Get Your Sh*t Together) When You Have No Idea Where to Start

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Maybe you’re stuck in the cycle of knowing you need to change things but not knowing where to start? Been there, done that. Many many times.

My advice to you is don’t try to fix everything at once. Small, intentional actions will take you further than an all-or-nothing mindset.

Here’s where to start:

1. Mindset Reset

Your brain is the control center for everything else in your life. If you’re mentally cluttered, nothing else will fall into place.

Brain Dump Everything – Literally get ALL the things out of your head and onto paper. Write down every single thing weighing on your mind. Tasks, worries, things you’ve been procrastinating. Once you get it out of your head, you can start sorting through it.

Challenge Your Narrative – What’s the story you’re telling yourself about why you can’t change? Rewrite it.

Create a Simple Morning Routine – Just 5-10 minutes of intentional time (stretching, journaling, deep breathing) can shift your whole day. The first hour of the day is THE most important and can set the tone for the entire day (just ask my boys. They get really tired of hearing that LOL)

2. Spring Clean Your Home (Without Overwhelm)

If you try to tackle everything at once, you’ll be throwing in the towel before you even begin. I’ve tried this with our garage – it is my actual nemesis and I get overwhelmed every time I walk out there.

It’s all about taking baby steps and starting small. A drawer. A cabinet. You get the idea

Pick ONE Area – Just tackle a nightstand, a junk drawer, or your fridge. Small wins build momentum.

The 15-Minute Rule – Set a timer and clean for just 15 minutes. It’s amazing how much you’ll get done when you’re racing the clock.

Ditch the Guilt Clutter – Clothes you don’t wear, books you’ll never read, gifts you don’t like—let them go. If I haven’t thought about it, worn it, or used it in 6 months, it’s getting tossed (except for my books because they are sacred).

3. Digital Decluttering

Your phone and inbox can be just as cluttered as your home. Let’s fix that.

Inbox Zero-ish – Unsubscribe from junk. Set up folders. Archive what you don’t need.

Clean Up Your Social Media – Unfollow accounts that drain your energy. The content you take in is just as important as WHO you surround yourself with. It’s so important to curate your feed so it actually inspires you.

Declutter Your Desktop & Apps – Take 10 minutes to delete, organize, and clear space.

4. Health & Habits Check-In

If your energy is low, it might be time to look at what you’re consuming – both physically and mentally.

Water & Movement First – If you do nothing else, drink more water and move your body. No fancy plan needed—just start where you are.

Simplify Your Meals – If meal planning overwhelms you, pick 2-3 easy, healthy meals and rotate them. No need to be a gourmet chef.

Set a “No Mindless Scrolling” Rule – If you find yourself doom-scrolling, set a 10-minute timer when you open an app. Stay aware of how much time you’re actually spending on your phone.

5. Reassess Your Priorities

If you’re feeling stretched too thin, it’s time to audit where your energy is going.

What Actually Matters? – Make a list of the top 3 things that matter most in your life right now. Are your daily actions aligning with those?

Learn to Say No – Stop filling your calendar with things that drain you. Boundaries girl. Boundaries.

Schedule “You Time” – If it’s not on the calendar, it’s not happening. Block off time for you just like you would any other appointment.

And Now to Follow Through

Here’s the truth: You don’t need a perfect plan. You just need to start.

It doesn’t matter if you’re restarting a habit (like me with quitting drinking), decluttering your home, or finally taking control of your schedule.

Let’s be real—between homeschooling, building a business, and making sure no one in the house is living solely off fruit snacks, personal growth can feel like just another thing on the never ending to-do list.

The great news is, you don’t have to carve out extra time to work on your mindset. You just need some killer podcasts in your ear while you’re doing all the other mom-life things—like driving, cooking, folding laundry, or hiding in the bathroom for five minutes of peace.

I rotate between these four powerhouse podcasts that keep me motivated, challenged, and fully convinced that I can do anything (which is a wayyy better soundtrack to my day than my inner critic, thank you very much).

I listen to at least one episode a day—and when I can, I take actual notes because these episodes aren’t just inspiring; they’re like masterclasses in mindset, abundance, and making big moves. I kid you not.

If you’re ready to step into abundance, confidence, and a life that actually aligns with what you want, check these out! I’ve listed a few of my FAVE episodes below but honestly, every single one is worth a listen! Enjoy!

1. Abundant Ever After with Cathy Heller (Formerly Don’t Keep Your Day Job)

If abundance had a bestie who hyped you up daily, it would be Cathy Heller. She doesn’t just talk about making money and manifesting your dream life—she shows you how to actually do it.

I started following Cathy back in 2020 and I have to say, she’s one of my favorite humans on the planet. If you need someone in your corner who is going to remind you what you’re capable of, she is it.

Cathy interviews inspiring entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and creative minds, breaking down exactly what it takes to go from playing small to stepping into massive abundance. Whether she’s doing a deep-dive solo episode or live-coaching someone on air, you will walk away with new insights that change how you see yourself and your future.

2. The Life Coach School Podcast with Brooke Castillo

If you’re the type of person who loves knowing exactly how to rewire your brain for success, Brooke Castillo is your new best friend.

She’s a master at breaking down the way your thoughts create your reality and teaching you how to take full control of your results—in life, business, and beyond.

Her podcast is like a free crash course in thought work, mastering your emotions getting out of your own way so you can finally create the life you want.

3. The Purpose Show with Allie Casazza

Allie is such a vibe. I love her energy and it’s been so fun to watch as she’s evolved over the last few years. If you’re feeling like your life is a chaotic mess of clutter—both physically and mentally? Allie Casazza is the girl that will help you clear it all out.

Her podcast isn’t just about decluttering your home (though she’s great at that, too). It’s about decluttering your mind, your schedule, and anything else standing between you and the peaceful, purposeful life you actually want.

Must-listen episodes:

4. Business Energetics with Allie Casazza

Yep, Allie gets two spots—because if The Purpose Show is about getting your your home AND your mind right, Business Energetics is about building a business that aligns with who you are and the lifestyle you want.

This podcast is for entrepreneurial moms who want to make great money WITHOUT burnout. Allie dives into the intuitive, mindset-based side of business—teaching you how to make money in a way that feels aligned, fun, and simple.

Must-listen episodes:

Your Next Step: Listen, Take Notes, and Join the Conversation!

I’m telling you—these podcasts are game changers. It’s like therapy on speed dial…only for free LOL!

But here’s the deal: you can’t just listen—you have to take action.

So here’s what to do next:
