What Is a Human Design Projector?

There are five Human Design types, and Gloria Gaynor, the legendary singer of I Will Survive, is one of them: a Projector.

So what exactly is a Human Design Projector?

They’re the new leaders and guides of humanity — those who see deeply into others and help direct collective growth.

The Projector: A New Kind of Leader

According to the Human Design chart (based on her birthdate, 7th September 1943), Gloria Gaynor is indeed a Projector.

Projectors began incarnating in greater numbers around the mid-1700s, marking the emergence of a new evolutionary role for humanity — one focused not on initiating action, but on guiding it.

While Manifestors (like me) were the leaders of earlier eras, Projectors are designed to connect, visualize, and direct.
They read the energy of individuals or groups and help channel that energy toward goals, projects, and even movements.

Some Famous Human Design Projectors

Historical examples include: –

• Winston Churchill
• Queen Elizabeth II
• Nelson Mandela
• Napoleon Bonaparte.
  

(Napoleon may not have embodied the highest expression of this energy, given his war campaigns, but he certainly demonstrated the Projector’s ability to inspire and mobilize others.)

Modern examples include: –

• Barack Obama
• Pablo Picasso
• Steven Spielberg
• Princess Anne, Princess Royal
• Taylor Swift and, of course,
• Gloria Gaynor.

Projectors and Energy

Projectors, like Manifestors, are non-Sacral beings — meaning their Sacral Chakra is undefined. About 30% of humanity shares this trait.

If you’re non-Sacral, your energy works differently.

You’re not designed for constant output.

While Generators and Manifesting Generators have a steady flow of Sacral energy (and can often “work until they drop”), Projectors and Manifestors thrive in shorter bursts, followed by rest.

When Projectors seem full of energy, it’s often because they’re amplifying the Sacral energy of others, especially when they’re collaborating or surrounded by engaged, energized people.

Learning to manage this dynamic of knowing when to rest and recharge when needed is key to thriving as a Projector.

Back to Gloria Gaynor – and I Will Survive

If I asked you to name one song by Gloria Gaynor, you’d likely say it instantly: –

“I Will Survive.”

This timeless anthem wasn’t originally expected to be a hit.

When first released, it was placed on the B-side of a single, an afterthought compared to the main track, Substitute by the Righteous Brothers.

But Gloria knew the song’s power. She felt the audience’s emotional response when she performed it live.

Her intuition (pure Projector wisdom) told her this song would connect with people deeply — and she was right.

Gloria Gaynor’s Throat Chakra

When I looked at Gloria Gaynor’s Human Design chart, one feature stood out:
Her Throat Chakra is alive with expression.

In Human Design, the Throat Center contains 11 gates — each one has a different “voice” or archetype of expression.

Most people have a few of these activated. Gloria has nine.

That’s an extraordinary level of vocal power, not just in the physical sense, but in energetic resonance.

Her voice literally carries multiple frequencies of communication and connection.

Her Throat Chakra is supported by two other defined centers: –

• The G Center (Sense of Self) — the green diamond below the Throat
• The Ajna (Third Eye) — the darker green triangle above the Throat

This combination gives her voice clarity, purpose, and intuitive resonance, the very qualities that allow a song like I Will Survive to move hearts across generations.

The 9 Voice Gates in Gloria’s Chart

Here are Gloria’s activated Throat Gates and their energetic “tones”:

• Gate 56 – The Wanderer: Curiosity and storytelling.
• Gate 35 – Progress: Versatility and experience.
• Gate 12 – Standstill: Reflection, openness, and social grace.
• Gate 33 – Retreat: The witness; one who holds history.
• Gate 8 – Contribution: Offering something valuable to the collective.
• Gate 31 – Influence: Leadership and authority.
• Gate 20 – The Now: Manifestation — turning thoughts into action.
• Gate 16 – Selectivity: Talent and refinement.
• Gate 62 – Expressing Details: Precision and organization.

No wonder her voice feels so multi-dimensional.

Through these nine energetic “voices,” she can reach thousands — even millions — with her expression.

The Deeper Meaning of I Will Survive

The song was written by Dino Fekaris and Freddie Perren, with Fekaris drawing from his own experience of being fired from Motown Records.

Its lyrics carry universal resonance: strength after struggle, empowerment after loss.
When those words met Gloria’s voice, carrying the energy of nine active gates, the result was magic.

As Gloria herself said:

“I love the empowering effect; I love the encouraging effect. It’s a timeless lyric that addresses a timeless concern.”

A Projector’s Legacy

It’s no coincidence that I Will Survive became a cross-generational anthem of empowerment.

Gloria Gaynor’s chart shows the pure essence of a Human Design Projector, guiding, inspiring, and influencing through energy, voice, and vision.

A recent documentary film about her life was shown in theaters for one night only (what a shame!). I’m looking forward to watching it soon, and celebrating her as the luminous, magnetic Projector she is.

Carrie Underwood, Human Design, and the Manifesting Generator Type

If you’ve ever flipped to the back page of People Magazine, you’ve probably seen the “One Last Thing” feature, a quick-fire interview where the same five questions are asked of a celebrity each week.

In an October issue, that celebrity was Carrie Underwood, singer, songwriter, and winner of American Idol’s fourth season.

Curious, I looked up her birth date on Wikipedia and ran her Human Design chart.

What I discovered fascinated me: Carrie is a Manifesting Generator, one of the most dynamic energy types in Human Design.

That one chart sparked a whole new exploration and this post (and podcast!) grew from there.

There are so many personality tests and self-awareness tools out there — Myers-Briggs, Enneagram, astrology, numerology — and now, Human Design.

Life is busy, and many of these systems can feel complicated or even overwhelming. So, how do we get the most out of them without drowning in data?

That’s exactly how Human Design works.

What is Human Design?

Human Design is a unique system that weaves together four ancient traditions with one modern scientific discovery – creating a map of how your energy is designed to operate.

It blends:

• The Hindu Chakra System
• The Jewish Kabbalah (Tree of Life)
• Western Astrology
• The I-Ching, an ancient Chinese system of 64 archetypes representing facets of the human experience.

The fifth and most modern layer is genetics. The 64 I-Ching hexagrams correspond to the 64 codons in human DNA (discovered by Watson and Crick in 1953).

Together, these elements form a multidimensional framework for understanding who we are, how our energy moves, and how we interact with the world.

The Challenge with Human Design Charts

If you’ve ever seen your chart, you may have felt both intrigued and a little lost.

People often tell me,

“I had my chart done once… and then I had no idea what to do with it!”

It’s understandable. The chart looks like a beautiful matrix of shapes, numbers, and colors, fascinating, but also overwhelming at first.

That’s why I encourage people to start simple: focus on your Type and your chakra pattern first.

Human Design isn’t meant to be memorized; it’s meant to be felt. Once you start noticing how your energy naturally flows, the chart begins to “speak” and each part clicks into place.

The Five Human Design Types

There are five main energy Types in Human Design:

1. Manifestor
2. Generator
3. Manifesting Generator
4. Projector
5. Reflector

My own aura type is Manifestor, and I’ve written more about that in this blog post.

But today, let’s focus on the Manifesting Generator — the type that both Carrie Underwood and Simon Cowell share.

Understanding the Manifesting Generator

Manifesting Generators are energetic dynamos, creative, fast-moving, and full of drive.

They juggle multiple passions, explore widely, and learn by doing. Once something excites them, they go all in, full throttle, no hesitation.

They often have an entrepreneurial streak or an unconventional approach to life. They innovate naturally, bringing fresh energy or a new twist to familiar ideas.

The Power of the Throat Chakra

Every Manifesting Generator has a defined Throat Chakra, a constant energetic connection to expression.

This gives them a magnetic voice, a natural ability to translate inspiration into sound, speech, and creative manifestation.

Imagine a lamp that’s always plugged in and ready to shine – that’s what a defined Throat Chakra feels like. The current is always on, waiting for a cue to illuminate.

Carrie Underwood’s Heart-Driven Voice

In Human Design terms, Carrie Underwood’s Throat Chakra is powered by both her Heart Chakra and Sacral Chakra — a combination known as The Money Line.

This channel fuses love, passion, and creativity into one steady current, linking heartfelt communication with material and emotional success.

Think about the raw emotion in her song “Jesus, Take the Wheel.” That’s Heart-Throat energy in motion — vulnerability turned into resonance.

When the Heart and Throat align, passion flows into purpose, and purpose into prosperity.

Simon Cowell: A Different Kind of Manifesting Generator

Simon Cowell, interestingly, is also a Manifesting Generator, but his energy moves very differently from Carrie’s.

His Throat connects to his Sacral energy through his Self Center (sometimes called the GPS Chakra). This creates what’s known as the Channel of Exploration, the energy of trailblazing and bold self-expression.

He also carries the Alpha Channel, which drives leadership and the courage to speak truth without apology.

We’ve all seen it on American Idol: Simon’s sharp honesty, his confidence, his clarity. That’s his design in action.

Carrie’s Superpower: The Channel of Concentration

Carrie’s chart also features a defined link between her Root Chakra (drive and stamina) and her Sacral Chakra (life force and creativity).

This forms the Channel of Concentration — the energy of sustained focus and productive flow.

It’s what allows her to channel her creativity day after day, maintaining steady momentum over time. With rest and balance, this becomes her secret to long-term success.

Final Thoughts

Both Carrie Underwood and Simon Cowell are brilliant examples of the Manifesting Generator in action, yet they express that energy in completely different ways.

That’s the beauty of Human Design: no two charts are ever the same. Even when people share the same Type, their specific channels, chakras, and life experiences give them their own energetic fingerprint.

This month, we’re talking about living out your Life Purpose, specifically through the lens of the Human Design Incarnation Cross of Eden.

In Human Design, your Incarnation Cross represents the total of your top four gates, two from your design (the left-hand column on your chart) and two from your personality (the right-hand column).

These four gates combine to create a vibrational frequency that reflects your Life Purpose — the energetic focus your soul chose to express in this lifetime.

Here’s how it breaks down:

• Design Sun Gate: Top of the left-hand column (unconscious expression)
• Design Earth Gate: Second square in the left-hand column
• Personality Sun Gate: Top of the right-hand column (conscious expression)
• Personality Earth Gate: Second square in the right-hand column

You can think of it as your core frequency, similar to your Primary and Secondary Energy Centers in Akashic Records work.

Your Energy Centers express roughly half of your soul’s energy across lifetimes — eternal and unchanging, life after life. Your Incarnation Cross, however, reflects how that energy wants to express itself now, in this particular life.

Think Soul Blueprint – eternal and unique Soul Expression, Human Design – your Soul’s intentions for this lifetime.

How to Live Out Your Life Purpose or Incarnation Cross

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could receive an email from the Universe outlining our Life Purpose?

Unfortunately — or perhaps wisely — consciousness doesn’t work that way. It’s a co-creative dance between spirit and matter, awareness and action.

Think of your Life Purpose not as an instruction manual, but as a frequency, a way of being rather than a list of tasks.

You can choose to ignore it, partially live it, or even express it in its reverse polarity (which can be just as educational!).

To make this theme more tangible, I’ll share a personal example: how my father and I both lived (and learned from) the Incarnation Cross of Eden.

Only 192 Incarnation Crosses and 8 Billion People?

In Human Design, there are 192 possible Life Themes or Incarnation Crosses, which might seem like a small number for more than 8 billion people on the planet.

But remember, each Cross is expressed through:

• Your time and place of birth, which shape your Personality Gates.
• Your Design Gates, calculated 88 days before birth.
• Your unique genetic expression (no two are alike).
• Your karmic patterns, carried in your Akashic Records.
• And your soul’s larger evolutionary trajectory through many lifetimes.

So even if two people share the same Cross, the way they live it out will be unique.

My Father and I: The Incarnation Cross of Eden

Both my father and I share the Life Purpose of Eden, souls who, in essence, carry the vibration of a higher, more harmonious world. You could say we come from a place where negativity is rare, and joy is our natural state.

And then… we incarnate on Earth.

Here, we get to practice rediscovering Eden within the chaos, to bring that light into form.

My Father’s Not-So-Edenic Beginning

My dad’s childhood was far from Eden.

His father, my grandfather, fought in World War I and returned home severely injured after being gassed in the trenches. He lost a lung, most of his hair, and passed away young, leaving my grandmother widowed.

Dad’s mother had her own struggles, and he arrived late in her life, as what was then called a “menopause baby,” which carried social stigma at the time.

She had difficulty caring for him, so her sister, Aunt Nell, stepped in. She lived next door and made sure Dad had a bath and a warm meal each week (usually fish and chips).

That was his only experience of childhood Eden, small but consistent acts of care.

A Hardworking Man Trying to Create His Own Eden

My dad was determined to build a better life. He became a production engineer in aviation design and even earned his physics degree at night school by tutoring other students.

By the time he met my mum, he was established, and they built a solid life together. They cared for his mother until her passing and even bought their first home as a young couple, quite an achievement for that era.

Yet deep down, my dad knew he wasn’t living in Eden.

So, he set out to create one of his own.

Every summer, he’d take us camping and sailing near Newtown River on the Isle of Wight. He and a friend restored a £20 boat that became our family treasure. Those holidays became our family’s Eden, filled with sunshine, sea air, and connection.

For those weeks each year, he was more fully present for some of the time. To me, he seemed relaxed, joyful, and at peace.

The rest of the year, though, was a struggle.

The Shadow Side of Eden

After returning home from our holidays, Dad would sink back into dissatisfaction. His work as a production manager at a sewing thread manufacturer often left him drained, caught between management and the shop floor, trying to keep everyone happy.

I remember him sitting at the dining table, cigarette in hand, frustration in his posture. He longed to work with his hands, carving wood, creating beauty, but practicality kept him from following that dream.

He’d imagined a life of peace and craft, yet found himself in the machinery of production.

It’s a powerful illustration of the Eden Cross polarity, yearning for paradise while feeling trapped in the material world.

Living the Cross of Eden More Fully

For those of us carrying this Life Purpose, the world can feel… dense.

We remember, on some soul level, what harmony feels like, and we ache for it here. But the invitation isn’t to escape Earth; it’s to bring the light of Eden into the present moment, through our awareness, our choices, and our inner work.

This planet isn’t (yet) a place where everyone has the luxury to “just be.” But that doesn’t mean the Eden frequency can’t exist; it simply starts within.

Inner Light Work: Returning to Eden

The real key to living the Incarnation Cross of Eden is to cultivate an inner state of lightness and peace.

When we anchor that energy inside ourselves, it naturally radiates outward. We don’t need to teach or persuade — resonance does the work.

If we can find that Eden frequency, even for moments at a time, we live our purpose more fully. We become beacons — quiet reminders that paradise begins in consciousness, not circumstance.

Becoming a mentor as a parent is probably the biggest role we didn’t realize we would need to do. When you are put in a mentoring role, how can intuitive guidance help you?

Becoming a Mentor: A Role We Often Grow Into

This podcast is about becoming a mentor. There are times in life when we find ourselves in that role, even when it’s not something we consciously sought. Suddenly, others look to us for guidance, and we’re not entirely sure how to go about it.

This episode came about because I wasn’t even sure what I was going to talk about! So, I asked my Spirit Guides for help. They immediately directed me to Caroline Myss’s Archetype Deck and told me to draw six cards.

Channeling Guidance Through Oracle Cards

Using Caroline Myss’s beautiful Archetype Cards, I channeled a message about the student-to-mentor journey.

Archetypes, as you may know, are energetic blueprints, patterns of thought and behavior that exist within the collective mind. They describe the roles we embody as humans on our path of growth.

Each archetype has light and shadow aspects. In this channeling, I focused on the positive, light-filled side of each one.

The Journey of Mentorship

What I discovered is that becoming a mentor isn’t a single event; it’s a cycle.

We begin as students. Often, we don’t even realize we’re stepping into mentorship until we’re already actively practicing it. Maybe a teacher once asked you to help another student, or a friend turned to you for advice.

For me, it started while working at Channel 4 Television, teaching colleagues how to use Wang typewriters (remember those?). I only learned to use one myself because I wanted to save my work! Yet, that small moment led to a lifelong path of teaching and training.

In that instance, my teacher wasn’t a person, it was new technology.

The Six-Step Archetype Cycle (from Caroline Myss’s Deck)

The cards my Spirit Guides directed me to were:

1. The Mentor
2. The Ascent (The Magical Journey Begins)
3. The Lover
4. The Mother
5. The Scribe
6. The Poet

And then—back again to The Mentor.

When the Student Is Ready…

The first message that came through was clear:

A Mentor is a Student in disguise.

Wisdom is not just received—it’s embodied. The eternal student learns, applies, and evolves.

As the saying goes:

“When the student is ready, the teacher appears.”

I’ve had many teachers—some conventional, others unexpected. True mentorship is synchronistic and empathic. There’s a mutual exchange of energy and understanding that helps both people grow.

A wonderful example of this is the relationship in The Karate Kid: the timeless dance of student and teacher, each reflecting the other as they both grow.

The Ascent — Moving Toward Mastery

After learning from a mentor, we begin The Ascent. We take what we’ve learned and move upward into new life stages, creative pursuits, or personal challenges.

This is the part of the Hero’s Journey Joseph Campbell described so beautifully: the mountain is never the same mountain upon your return, and the river is never the same.

Growth requires courage. Along the way, we face our “monsters”, usually obstacles that test and strengthen us.

The Lover — Learning Through the Heart

The next card, The Lover, speaks of passion and devotion, the unbridled appreciation for someone or something.

But love can also become obsession or self-destruction if we lose balance. The deeper truth of this archetype is that every act of love teaches self-love.

To love others fully, we must first learn to keep our own hearts open, even after they’ve closed and reopened many times. Love is always a mirror: in the end, all love is love of the Self, reflected through others.

The Mother — Creating and Letting Go

I remember attending my first Kryon conference when my eldest was still a toddler. The channeling by Lee Carroll emphasized the word responsibility, and I suddenly grasped the profound responsibility of nurturing a child into adulthood.

Parenting, like mentoring, is a powerful heart-opener. It invites us to grow something new, whether that’s a child, a creative project, or even a movement.

Yet, what we create, we must also release. The child becomes an adult. The project is complete. The book is written. Growth always involves letting go so that new life can emerge.

The Scribe — Stewarding Knowledge

Next comes The Scribe, the keeper of knowledge and stories.

Recently, I was reminded of the difference between preserving information and stewarding it. In truth, knowledge isn’t ours to own. It moves through us, not from us.

As scribes, we receive wisdom, process it, and share it in the way that best serves others. Information isn’t the gift, it’s the bridge to understanding.

Through this process, our experiences crystallize into insights we can transmit, whether through writing, teaching, or simply the way we live.

The Poet — Expressing Soul Wisdom

Finally, we arrive at The Poet.

The Poet expresses Soul insight through symbolic language, art, words, or resonance.

After the Dark Night of the Soul, after the desert of transformation, we emerge with wisdom we can’t help but express. The Poet’s role is to sing the soul’s truth in a way others can feel.

At this point, we often find ourselves mentoring others without realizing it. The cycle begins again.

The Infinite Spiral of Student and Mentor

The truth is, there’s no beginning and no end to the student–mentor journey. It’s a continual spiral of learning, embodying, creating, and sharing.

If we can stay in a state of curiosity, the “beginner’s mind”, we remain both student and mentor simultaneously.

As I like to say:

We’re all on the same bus—just sitting in different seats.
Each of us has a unique view to share from where we are on the journey..

Energy Bodies – March 2023 Podcast

This month I’m going to be talking about our Energy and our seven energy bodies.  These bodies comprise something people talk about or speak about as our aura.

So, what is Personal Energy?

There is an aura, most of us start with the chakras, but we also have a Personal Energy Field that expands out from us and all around us.  Anything from 2 feet to 30 feet, all the way around us, depending on what we are doing with our energy.

We’re going to figure out why we’re all so different when it comes to energy and energy systems.  At first glance, our energy systems seem to be all the same.

We are also going to find out what happens in brief when our personal energy merges with someone else.

Our Personal Energy Field is electromagnetic, just like the Earth

The Earth is surrounded by an electromagnetic field, just like any planet which is influenced by the Sun or Solar energies as well.

So here we are on Earth, this Being that’s been created by Earth, and we’re electromagnetic.

Our Life Force or ‘chi’, when we’re incarnated into a body, generates a field around us comprised of several different energy bodies, and sometimes people can sense different aspects of our energy bodies.  An example would be – how someone is feeling, which relates to our emotional energy body.

Some of you may know about chakras if you’ve done any meditation work, yoga, or other types of focused energy work.

The chakras can be thought of as bundles or centers of energy that are focused on a particular area of the body.  These energy bundles relate or have connections to the different energy bodies.

What’s next with our energy bodies?

People in meditative practice soon find out that there is more than just one energy body.

These energy bodies expand all around us, they are not just located in one area of the body, because all 7 energy bodies generate our energy field or aura.

The Physical Energy Body

We have a Physical Energy Body, which you can think of as being created from our Life Force.  This energy body is created from the fact that we are living in our body.  Our DNA and our cells are active, and the mitochondria in our cells are active.   We have physical energy which generates the personal presence of an individual.

Our Physical Energy Body also be read to intuit things like present Life Purpose, how the Chakras run in the body, which Life Force Channels are active, and things like that.

The Astral Energy Body

Then we have an Astral Energy Body.

A lot of people are very keen on astral travel (or at least trying to do it).

I’ve been reasonably successful with astral travel.  I’m a very in-body person – I prefer to do most of my meditation in the body rather than out of it.

The Astral, also known as the Emotional Body, collects, stores, and transmits all human emotions and desires. So when we are born and we are incarnated, the Astral Body is the first energy body that we begin to grow.

The Mental Energy Body

Then we have the Mental Body. You can think of the Mental Energy Body as under construction.

Every time we think, every time we focus, every time we create, every time we have an idea, something might be happening in our Mental Energy Body.

We can create from our internal experience, or our collective or group experience of the whole of humanity.

We can also be affected in our Mental Body by thoughts from the collective or group of humanity, as well as our little family group, our social behaviors, and habits, or even our culture.

All of these things build the Mental Energy Body over time, and it is attached to the Emotional Body.

You could say that ‘You are what you think’, and ‘You are what you feel’.

The Causal Energy Body

Think of the Causal Body as ‘the collective goodwill of your Soul’ (Richard Rudd, the Gene Keys).

The Causal Energy Body is a sort of storage facility, but it’s also an energy holder of all the things we create in this life through our actions, our emotions, and our thoughts.

The Causal Body is what gets taken with us when we pass on or transition.

The Buddhic Energy Body

His Holiness the Dalai Lama is probably familiar with this one!

Think of the Buddhic Body as a higher vibrational resonance of the Astral or Emotional Body, so there is a connection there between the emotions and the higher experiences in meditation.

When we go into Higher States of feeling or sensation, or maybe we have a blissful experience in meditation, we may well be activating or experiencing a sense of our Buddhic Energy Body.

The Atmic Energy Body

This is a higher vibration of the Mental Energy Body. So, as the Buddhic Body is a higher vibration of the Emotional Body, then the Atmic Body is a higher vibration of the Mental Body.

Some people refer to the Atmic Energy Body as the Higher Self, which is also our Intuition. It’s very much about being able to connect with our Divine Mind.

A sense of our Soul, a sense of our Higher Self, Intuition, and also synchronicity.

The Monadic Energy Body

The Monadic Energy Body surrounds and supports all the above energy bodies.  It’s a system that holds everything together, like an environment for software.

The Monadic Body supports all the other Energy Bodies right from the cellular level upwards.   The Physical, Astral, Mental, Causal, Buddhic, and Atmic are all supported by the Monadic Body.

The Monadic Body connects to the bigger ‘ocean’ of our Akashic Records, past lives, our Soul Groups, and Soul Groups of origination.

If we all have the same energy systems, why are we so different?

We all have the same circulatory systems, lymphatic systems, and cellular systems, so why are we all so different when we generate energy as incarnated beings?

This is because, at the Soul Level, when a Soul incarnates into a body, it has an individual blueprint.

This blueprint is made up of 8 different Divine energy types, in different proportions for every single Soul.   So there are eight different ways you can express your energy.

We also derive from 24 different Soul Groups.

If we do the math, eight times twenty-four – that is quite a lot of differences in itself.

Then into that equation, we’re going to add our Soul Vibration Rate. This relates to our experiences in many lives.

Factor in what karma we’ve managed to clear, what level of awareness we’ve reached now, and where we are on our energetic journey.

This can be very different for everyone, and affect the mix of how we represent our energies in the world.

Through Human Design, you can think about having an electromagnetic imprint for this lifetime, which your Soul has chosen. This relates to how your genes express themselves, what Life Purpose you have, and what tasks, life themes, or lessons your Soul wants to experience this lifetime.

Through the Human Design chart itself – there can be a trillion or even trillions of different combinations!

So to sum up, purely on Planet Earth, how many different types of energy expressions there are, just within humanity, we’d be going into one of those very long numbers with no endings on it!

All of this affects our energy.  Plus, our past lives affect how we express our energy in present life.

We’ve also chosen a particular genetic inheritance as we incarnate into this life, and all our different present life experiences, too.

I like to say we are all sitting on the same bus but in different seats, so from our particular perspectives and our life experiences things are different – even if they are sometimes similar.

It’s a lot to understand and appreciate, and that’s why we are so different!

How close can we get before our Auras merge?

When we get close to somebody else, we can start to feel their energy if we have energetic awareness. Aura merges, or Personal Energy Field merges, can start from up to 30 feet away.

You could see somebody walking at a distance down the street and maybe have a sense of who they are as an individual.

As we get nearer, around 24 feet, the more we can sense an individual. When we live in big cities or walk in big crowds, we subconsciously filter all that information out. Our brain does that for us because it would just be overwhelming otherwise.

At 18 feet, the nearer we get to somebody, the more we can sense, notice or feel.  At 12 feet, this is where we can begin to become very easily aware of someone’s energy. Maybe we can catch onto some of their thoughts or intentions.

Now, this awareness can be from body movements or what you already know about the person, but there is also an energetic component as well.

When the aura merge is at 6 feet of distance or less, the real question is, are you influencing them, or are they influencing you?

What happens when your two energies merge?

To summarize, our Personal Energy Field or aura is an electromagnetic field generated from our Life Force when we incarnate.

Our Personal Energy can merge with others from 30 feet apart or less – in fact, more with remote intention.

If you talk on the phone, you can become very connected with somebody, even though they are not in the same room and you can start to tune into each other energetically.

All of our individual Personal Energy Fields or auras contribute to the collective energy field of humans, the Maya, collective consciousness, or Matrix if you like.

So that means we are all unique, yet we’re all connected.

Hi, there, welcome everyone to my 2023 Podcast this month, I’m going to be talking a little bit about

• the Akashic Records and
• their connection with this system you might have been hearing about called Human Design.

How Do The Akashic Records and Human Design Fit Together?

Well, I was working with a client recently, and this question came up.  What is the intersection between Human Design and the Akashic Records?

When I work with clients, I often work with their Soul Purpose and information from their Divine Soul Blueprint, which, for you, for your individual understanding, if you are new to this type of information, is about things like gifts, talents, and abilities from the Soul level, which are unchanging life after life.

So then I’m also now doing Human Design Readings, starting with intuiting your Life Purpose as well as your Soul Purpose from the Akashic Records.

What’s the Connection Between the Two?

Well, when I worked with this client recently, an image came through for me and for her of a sunbeam.

So, if you imagine your origination as a Soul, a little drop of consciousness in the big consciousness ocean, and seeing that drop of consciousness as a sunbeam coming down into planet Earth, and then focusing into a bright ray of sunlight which becomes your incarnated self.

So, the energetic intersection between Human Design and the Akashic Records is that you are both the ray of the Sun and the single sunbeam.

What Does This Mean In Practical Terms?

To recap, when I work with clients in the Akashic Records, which I’ve been doing since 2010, we cover things like looking at your Soul-level Energy Centers:-

• How your Soul transmits Vital Force Energy or Life Force Energy into your incarnated life
• Which Soul Groups do you come from
• At what level is your soul currently vibrating with on the Spiritual Journey
• What past lives might you have lived
• We work on clearing karmic patterns
• Looking at Life Themes or Lessons can give us a great frame of reference for why things are going a certain way.
• We work on connecting with intuition
• and creating a much stronger connection through intuition with our Inner Circle Spirit Guides and our Master Guides in the Akashic Records.

And so all of these things help us connect more powerfully to the Soul’s talents, gifts, and abilities.

Where Does Human Design Come In?

Imagine your Soul Blueprint and Soul as the Sun?  Then your Human Design is that focused ray of light that ultimately creates who you are as an individually incarnated human.

As part of this massive system of incarnation and reincarnation, your Human Design system looks at your:-

• 9 chakras, which you’ll notice there are 2 more than you are currently used to working with!
• What planetary influences were affecting you, both 88 days or a few months before birth, and at birth?
• How these planetary influences and electromagnetic DNA affect your human chemistry, as your DNA codons
• Your Human Design Type, I’m a Manifestor. There are several other types, so you find that out as part of the Human Design work
• Your Active Gates, which relate to the I-Ching, are aligned with the body functions that correlate with our DNA codons.
• There are 64 Gates in the I-Ching, and 64 DNA codons according to the Human Genome Project.
• Human Design also looks at your active channels. (When two Gates connect between two chakras on your Human Design Chart).
• Your Circuitry, which is about how you interact with the great matrix of human consciousness.  So circuitry can be Tribal, Logical, or Sensory-based; those are just some examples.
• How your aura works, how your life force energy comes through from the Soul and creates an electromagnetic field which you can sense yourself and which others can sense with you and from you.

The Connection Between The Akashic Records and Human Design Is…Incarnation

So the Akashic Records are this major system of incarnation and reincarnation.  Your Soul chooses a family and situation, becomes incarnated in utero, about 88 days of Solar Arc before birth, then all these factors become our Human Design.

We still have free will on Earth, and we can still do all the things we want to do. 

When we are incarnated, we do put some thought into where we are going to go, what we are going to be, and how we are going to get there–and even sometimes exactly what we are going to do, at least at the beginning.

And this is all managed by your Soul and your Higher Self, including your Spirit Guides, both Master Guides and Inner Circle Guides, plus other guides as well.

Life Force, Chi Or Vital Force Energy From The Akashic Records And Into Your Human Design

As I said previously, your Life Force enters your chosen body.   

This starts to create what Jung called your Subconscious Mind.  When you are born, you experience more electromagnetic energy, and that helps form who you are at the personality level.

So you have both the subconscious drivers and conscious drivers, and these can be tracked through the systems and mechanisms in your Human Design Chart.

Now then, of course, when you are incarnated, life begins, and here come choices and consequences and various other things that happen, karmically and otherwise, as we live.

Our consciousness is the connection between the Akashic Records, our Soul Blueprint, and our Human Design, how we run our energy and operate our energy in this present life.

So, You Are The Sunbeam And The Focused Point Of Light! (The Akashic Records And Human Design)

It’s a bit of a big subject, but it can be broken down into very simple steps.

The easiest way to start is either with your Soul Star Reading, where you learn about your Soul Blueprint, Soul Groups of origination, and a past life where a karmic pattern needs to be cleared, or you can start with your Life Purpose, which is a look at your Human Design chart and what your Soul intended for you this lifetime.

Silk’s Question About Aura Merges On Quora

Here is Silk’s original question and my written answer about Aura Merge with an abusive ex-partner.

Hi Silk

Speaking from experience, the ‘in’ occurs with an aura merge. This happens with any form of contact. My ex and I have a college-aged child, so there are times when we need to communicate.

So he gets in (he always steals my throat energy through Dominance). Then I have to clear him out again.

The Human Design work I’m studying has helped me to study this phenomenon in more depth.

Think of it like a law of physics…or water breaching a levee in a flood. If there’s enough energy, the water will get through. It will merge with the land on the other side through any crack it can find. Auras work like this, too.

We can’t stop it, but we can clear it through energetics.

If you go completely no contact, there may still be connections. These occur through the Akashic Field (5D) and the Astral Realm (4D) (dreams and ideas).

Knowing how to clear both gives us at least some peace.

The January 2023 Full Moon Human Design Chart And Aura Merges

This full moon January 2023 Human Design Chart is for my area of the world. This was when the full moon was at its peak in Wichita, KS.

Note that the full moon was at its apogee this month.  The apogee is the furthest point it can be on its orbit around the Earth.

The Human Design Chart is for anyone born on this month’s Full Moon at 18:08 Central Time in Wichita, KS.

The full moon was magnifying the energy of this Human Design Type, an Ego-Projected Projector.

Aura Merges From the Perspective of Human Design

As a Manifestor, sometimes my very strong energetic field can clash with that of a Projector!  Projectors in Human Design are seen as the new leaders of our race.

They are very skilled at reaching into others’ energy and understanding their ideas, thoughts, emotions, and awareness.

This can be a wonderful thing if the other person in the aura merge has good intentions.  It can be a very difficult experience for everyone around a Projector if they are dominant or controlling!

At present, Projectors are thought to make up about 20% of the human population.  Manifestors (like me) make up about 9% of the population.

Penetrating Moon Energy Transit As An Aura Merge Or Influence

In this particular case, the full moon was magnifying the focus of penetrating energy. (Note the Incarnation Cross or Life Purpose on the chart, RAX Penetration 4).

People with this Life Purpose can reach into others’ energy in almost a shocking way. Sometimes they reveal so much about the other person that it can be distressing or overwhelming.

I used to know a psychic practitioner with the Life Purpose of Penetration. She didn’t use her psychic skills for good, unfortunately.

This is one reason why an aura merge can sometimes feel so intrusive.

This chart also demonstrates a defined heart or will chakra (little pink triangle).  People with this center can be very forceful or simply feel very ‘big’ when they walk into a room.

Tony Robbins is one example of someone with a defined heart or will center.

Projectors: Strong Auras And The New Leaders And Guides Of Earth

Manifestor Types have, up until now, been the leaders of humanity when living their Human Design fully. 

Meeting someone else with a strong Projector aura like this may result in clashes!

In my case, I have the 12-22 channel of Openness defined. I also have the 35-36 Channel of Versatility or Transitoriness defined.  So Gate 22 and Gate 36 were DOUBLY defined for me by the full moon’s energy.

This meant that both these channels were activated for me and almost taken over by the full moon’s penetrating energy.  I didn’t enjoy it at all!

I’m sure many of you are enjoying today’s date, there are also 22 Oversouls, so I thought it would be a great day to talk about Soul Groups.

Since this is an auspicious date, I created a short podcast today with a guide on a suggested meditative practice, if you would like to do that.

Then I go on to talk about Soul Groups.

What is a Soul Group?

A Soul Group is part of your origination information as an incarnated Soul.  Imagine your Soul being very newly born, and wanting to learn as much about itself as possible.

When a Soul first creates itself, it wants to learn as much about its’ qualities as possible in order to understand the experience of being a separate Soul – separated from Group Consciousness.

One of the ways a Soul does this is to incarnate into a Soul Group that is most like its’ major qualities.  And that is your Soul Group of Origination!

How are your Chakras and the Akashic Records connected?

This month I want to talk with you about working with your Chakras through the Akashic Records.

Chakras can give us very telling information about our health, wellbeing and emotional states of mind.

You may have had the good fortune to have energy work or a chakra balancing session, which can feel amazing.  Sometimes, though, these blissful effects seem to wear off very quickly no matter how hard we work on our chakras.

It can be difficult to stay at a particular level of vibration or expansion for very long when life gets in the way.

The key here to help stay balanced in our chakras is to take balanced action in our lives.  After all, you wouldn’t go to the chiropractor, get your back adjusted and then go home and slump in a lumpy uncomfortable chair – that would be a waste of time and energy!

Doing chakra work and expecting it to ‘stay’ is the equivalent of doing exactly that – if you don’t also take focused action around a circumstance or issue.

Chakra balancing can show you a way forward and how to do something better or differently from a feeling, sensing or energetic perspective.  But how to stay there?

That’s where reading the Chakras from the perspective of the Akashic Records can be so useful.

The Six Most-asked Questions I Get Asked About The Akashic Records

In this podcast (and post!), I’m sharing the six most popular questions people ask me about the Akashic Records, the ones that come up again and again in readings.

Many clients wonder whether they’re asking the “right” questions or if their curiosity is unique. The truth is, there are patterns in what we seek, and those questions can open profound doors to healing and awareness.

Most people associate the Akashic Records solely with past lives, and yes, that’s part of it, but it’s only one piece. The Records also hold valuable insights about your current life, your patterns, your relationships, and even your soul’s purpose.

Here are the six questions I’m asked most often, and what they can reveal about your journey.

1. What is my Soul Purpose?

This is one of the top questions people ask, often right alongside “What is my Life Purpose?”

You’re here, in a body, living on planet Earth. That means you’ve already fulfilled part of your Soul Purpose simply by being present. Your soul wanted this experience, as tough as it may be, to live, feel, learn, and grow through matter.

So if you’re asking this question, congratulations; that curiosity means you’re already tuning into your Soul’s awareness.

But there’s more to explore. Your soul often chooses to incarnate into challenging life circumstances as a way to grow and evolve.

But How to Decode Your Soul Purpose From This?

One way to align more deeply with your Soul Purpose is to learn about your life lessons, which are vibrational themes or approaches your Soul is interested in experiencing.

Learning more about your Divine Soul Blueprint and how your Higher Self or intuition operates will also help you enormously.

Often, these kinds of experiences relate to an increased vibrational connection with your Inner Circle Spirit Guides – because of a shift in your personal frequency.

Your Inner Circle Spirit Guides are your personal “A-Team” on the higher planes. These guides work closely with you to support your growth and can provide practical insight about your intuitive gifts.

When I started working in the Akashic Records, I had no clue about Spirit Guides, despite many years of odd experiences, from mediumship to psychic phenomena.

Early on, I saw a client’s team of Spirit Guides appear in my inner vision when I was doing the dishes – 20 minutes before a reading was scheduled. They walked in and bumped against each other awkwardly.

I was quite amazed and asked them what they were doing here! They said they were here for the reading. I told them I’d be down in 20 minutes, and they shuffled off again.

Wondering what on Earth was going on, I connected with the client, and she said that she had opened her Akashic Records 20 minutes before the reading to be prepared.

Since then, I have worked with circles of Spirit Guides. This has become a more formal affair since I began practicing a new type of Akashic Reading in 2016, learning that I could channel Spirit Guides easily through the Akashic Records.

5. How can I awaken my own Akashic Records?

So many people these days are feeling called to access their own Records, and it’s absolutely possible to do so.

There are excellent books on the subject, but what truly makes the difference is finding your personal method, the energetic “key” that opens your own Records in alignment with your frequency.

When I discovered my own personal pathway, my connection became much deeper, clearer, and more transformative.

There are many ways to access the Akashic Records, and many spiritual practices will get you into your Records, especially those that expand your intuition.
