You may come either night

The Lake Mirror Theatre

Please prepare 16 bars of music to sing. Bring sheet music with you; we will provide an accompanist. No monologue necessary; you may be asked to read from a script. Be ready to learn & perform a short choreographed routine with a small group. Please dress for movement, and bring dance shoes if you have them. You may be asked to stay the duration of the evening for the audition process, so please prepare accordingly.

Audition Requirements

Three Male & Three to Four Female roles available for ages 11 & up. Must be a strong singer & actor.

Eight to Ten Ensemble roles available for boys & girls ages 8 & up. Must be a strong singer & dancer.

No Experience Necessary! We love to see new talent at LCT!

The rehearsal process will be during the day over the Polk County Schools Holiday Break, and in January, rehearsals will be in the evenings Monday thru Friday from 6:00 to 8:30 pm*. Not everyone will be called to every rehearsal. Performance dates are January 25th & 26th at 10:00 am, Jan. 27th at 7:30 pm, Jan. 28th at 2:00 & 7:30 pm, and Jan 29th at 2:00 pm. If you are cast, you are required to be at all performances.

*Rehearsal schedule subject to change.

Wild Wonderland Returns

Meet Santa and his merry mammals REAL REINDEER and light up your holidays during the 12^th annual Wild Wonderland. Spread some seasonal cheer this year as you explore the Zoos whimsical world of holiday magic with wondrous animated displays like the new Wonder & Delight, Frozen Forest and Visions of Sugarplums. Enjoy free rides and savor traditional holiday treats from the Zoos own Sweet Shoppe.

Families can ring in the New Year with noisemakers, hats and a juice toast as they watch a giant clock strike 12 noon. Activities are included with Zoo admission.

Then head over to the Lakeland Snowfest !

The City of Lakeland arranges for a generous mound of snow to be delivered on the east side of Lake Mirror, and it is ready for playful activities. Many other child friendly winter activities abound. Entrance to the Snowfest is free. A chance to play on the snow or enjoy the inflatable slide has a minimal charge of $1, or donate a can of tuna to help feed the needy in our community.
