When your child asks why the man on the bus is so fat, you may be very embarrassed and want to simply shush him. But kids need to learn that differences are normal - yet we don't want to embarrass others by being indiscreet with our observations. It's important to talk with your kids about differences using clear, matter-of-fact explanations. When kids encounter people with disabilities, model a respectful and accepting attitude, and help them see the person before the disability.

Quated from Today's Parent

Why dont we all tell what our children did?
