I love you because… nothing!!  Today, Kym returns for a special appearance and hits us with those powerful words.  She also brought a friend with her, who leads us to walk in transformative love.  This is a highly insightful and introspective episode.

Today we discovered that Christians are stereotyped by our society which can limit our ability to minister or even just connect with others.  But who instilled this stereotype?  And is it a stereotype or is it a standard we must uphold as Christians?  This and more on this episode of MOC.

How many of us have voids in our lives and in our hearts that we have not addressed.  Contrary to belief, it’s not time that heals, it’s Jesus that heals.  When we allow voids to remain in our hearts, we run the risk of them negatively affecting other parts of our life. Why isn’t evangelism in America more effective? I struggled with this question for some time, wondering what we could do as Christians to motivate others towards experiencing this life that we adore so greatly. The number of people who claim some branch of Christianity decreases every year. But why? Why doesn’t Christianity connect with American cluture any longer? I make an attempt to answer some of these questions on today’s show.

Apprently sex before marriage is okay now.  Obviously I missed the memo. I wish I had gotten it, so I could’ve been included in the fun.  I wish I had gotten the word, so I could have had MORE SEX!!! It would have saved me many nights crying out to God, asking for forgiveness, the days of shame, and so much more.  If I had only known that Christians are cool with having sex before marriage now.  But guess what… sex before marriage is STILL A SIN!!!

Everyone prays, whether they are Christian or not, whether they realize it or not, everyone prays.  But, why do we pray?  Why should we pray?  Is it possible to get more substance out of our prayers? I’ve noticed so many people who pray so many different ways and for so many different reasons, I started to ask myself, “What is the real purpose of prayer?”  On today’s show I tackle those questions and present a couple of ideas as to why we offer our words to the most high God.

#TheStruggle is REAL.  Life is not easy.  And that is okay!  Too often I have had struggles in my life (legitimate struggles) that my friends and family have only made worse by trying to force me to realize, everything will be okay.  First of all, that’s not always true, and second of all, sometimes we just want someone to remind us it’s okay, to not be okay.  Well here is your reminder.

Spiritual Abuse is a problem running rampant in the church today. It can be difficult to identify, and unbelievably detrimental to those who have to live in this experience. I have lived in and esacped from a spiritually abusive Pastor and church. If your friends call your church a cult, chances are you are living the same experience. On this show, I share with you a short version of my story in hopes that if you find yourself in it, you’ll find a way out of it as well. I pray you will be freed after listening.

After looking at a list of every sin in the Bible, I was WILDLY convicted. I discovered, even though I may “think” I have a great relationship with Christ, there is no way I could ever live up to the standard He has set. No matter how close we are to Jesus, it’s obvious we could always be closer. I want to share with you all, ways we can improve our proximity to the King.

Temptation is EVERYWHERE! No matter what you are attracted to… sex, food, money, power, pity, etc. all Christians must deal with temptation. But, the reason we can not beat tempation is because we do not realize the key to defeating temptation is recognizing the value of holiness. Instead of trying to avoid sin, we are trying to get as close to sin as possible without getting in trouble. Today, I address how to crush temptation once and for all.

There is a key to being able to experience the most Christ has to offer. Many of us do not realize what it really takes to have the encounter with Christ most of us desire. Today I outline that solution. It is easier than you think.

God is going to do it! Your blessing is right around the corner! So many Christians use these statements as a way to reinforce the belief that God is going to bless them. We wait and wait and never experience the blessings we so desperately seek. But the truth is, there is a reason you are missing out on your blessings. Today I walk you through why you may not be blessed like you think you will.

There is a VIRUS that is spreading rapidly across America, and it’s begin transmitted through the church. This contamination can negatively affect our lives and our relationship with Christ if we let it. It’s Church Hurt. Today I’ll address this GIANT elephant in the congregation, and give you a way to escape the pain of this infection.

For so long I’ve watched leaders in Christianity telling people to reach their destiny and achieve their dreams. They give a bunch of motivational and inspirational quotes in hopes of helping you reach that ultimate goal. But for you my friends I’ve finally found the truth. I finally found the key to destiny and reaching our dreams. On today’s show, I share it with you.

The preacher speaks it sounds good, addresses my struggles in life, so we keep it in our hearts. But your favorite preacher may just be leading you down a road that you won’t be able to pull yourself out of. Today I’ll be talking about false preachers and why we keep falling for their con game.

Time for a faith BOOST!!!  As important as faith is in the lifestyle of Christian, I’ve noticed it’s sometimes difficult to identify when I’m walking in faith, and when I’m high on my own feelings.  This deception is easy to fall into.  We find ourselves hope for things, instead of actually believing in Christ.  Do you feel like you can change the world, or are you GOING to change the world?

I look around and I realize that what Christians are doing in America is NOT WORKING!! I know we’re trying. I know we’re praying. But our approach, our strategy, is not working!  Just look around… It’s very possible that we have been misguided. Today I outline things we can be doing, as followers of Christ, to turn this trend around.

Churches are failing at their job description, and it’s getting old.  What was once the cornerstone of many communities, has now become an institution focused solely on sustaining itself.  On today’s show, I discuss many aspects lacking in the modern church and let you in on the secret of what 82% of the money you donate is used for.  It’s time to completely revolutionize how the church relates to it’s people.

Dear parents, parenting is not about what makes you feel good!  If you’re kids are your whole world, you’re parenting wrong!  Our kids were never meant to be these miniature demi-gods we follow around and proclaim the world for.  After watching people make idols out of their children for years and years, I just couldn’t stay silent any longer.  Far too many parents are failing at being a parent, and the worst part is they know it and they don’t care.

Another day.  Another issue with a police officer and a black citizen.  Today I ask, where are our heroes?  Our police force has become a troupe of cowards and it’s affecting all of our lives.  Where are the people who are called to protect us?  More importantly who is going to save the black citizen from their protector?  It is obvious police have gotten out of control, but on today I focus on why and how we got to this place in our country.  How many more videos will it take for the entire nation to realize there is a problem?

So many Christians live in one of a few places when it comes to sin.  The two most prevalent are that we either believe we are terrible, horrible, no good, very bad people, and Christ can’t be pleased with us, and there is nothing we can do, and if we just tried harder or prayed harder maybe we could finally be good children.  Or there is the other where we live the “grace covers all” lifestyle and no matter what we do we can’t displease God so we use this liberty to do whatever we want to do.  Now I understand that these to ways of living don’t apply to everyone on earth.  If you’ve learned how to meet in the middle, then pass this show over to a friend you know who is struggling in this area.  We all need to discover That Place Between Grace and Hell.

The FSU quarterback arrest for punching a woman in the face at a bar set of a wave of videos on social media of men hitting women. Not only are these videos more prevalent, but more and more people are in support of the men who are hitting women. Has our society moved to a place where punching a woman is acceptable?  Stefan tackles this issue and talks about why he thinks it is happening more and more today!

Who picked gay marriage as the #1 issue Christians in America must fight against?  Who decided that we must invest so much time, energy, political capital, and religious collateral on condemning the way a group of people like to have sex?  While we were fighting against sex, we lost our place in society as the example of love!

Dear White People, YOU’RE WRONG AGAIN!!  I love hearing the conversation from people who disagree.  But when situations like the McKinney pool party arise, I find it difficult to understand WHY there is such a big, giant, trench between the two sides.  Black people on one side, and white people on the other.  Today I address the McKinney incident and point out to all my white friends why they are wrong to side with the officer, yet again!
