Nikon color output.

Yesterday i went to a shop to develop my engagement photo. I did my best using my desktop to get the real color which i assume to be the same when the photo is developed. When i saw the output , i found out that there is a yellow color cast for every printed photo. then the shop owner told me that it is common to print a photo from Nikon camera. He did show me a sample of his photo as a reference ( he is using 5DMII).

However technically i m disagree with him. I did print out my photo previously ( with other shop)but it does not have any yellow color cast appear on the photo. I heard this issue a long time ago, and the conclusion that i make based on my understanding is that the type of printer system might play a role in determining the colour output of the develope photo.

It is december, lamabt pla upload and update ni blog. so i start it with my engagement photo held on 8 of Oct this year. Photo is taken by my brother. It was a supprising trip for my fiance family since we came with 17 cars (6+ group of ppls). Everything went smooth and thanks God for the blessing.

Yes Im in the top Ten for the Canon photo marathon. I just could not believe it since there is a lot of contestant

(1+++) and there is a lot talented photographer. I received the news while i was stuck in the trafic jam from my fren. I thot he was just kidding after saying congratulation and I could not believe it till i see it by my own eyes.

Guardian of the Earth

This photo is taken when i was just about to go for lunch. At first i wanted to make a reflection photo of myself with the KLCC building as a background on the aluminum fence surface at the bridge, but then after viewed the photo, the idea came suddenly. A round shape represent the Earth , the KLCC represent the civilization world and the person pushing the trolley represent the guardian.

City Of Color

This photo is selected after a few consideration on the theme and relation between the first picture and the third picture. since i did select the first and third photo, i need to make a selection so that the second photo will relink the first and third photo. a lot of pic to choose but i stick with this one.

Extraordinary of Ordinary

The photo taken after having a drink with my fren. i kind of blank for this theme totaly blank mind. extraordinary of ordinary. well once i get back on my feet, i search for what i want to shot. It must be something ordinary, that people dont realy care about it. but thru a different angle it might be something different. i took the reflection of the building and make it in black and white.

Baby Amber

Baby Amber is in the house, my brother's first child.She was born on the 30 of July , on the 36 Weeks of pregnancy period, earlier a few weeks. She was just 1.7 kg that time and now she grows in weight up to 3.6kg. well i use to have a fear holding a baby less than 5 months old but she erase it all. I manage to convince myself to hold her when she was just less than a month old.

Mt Kinabalu

Just came back from sabah for mt Kinabalu climb. Unfortunately the climb stop at less than 1km to the peak due to lack of preparation. ( skip the breakfast ) will upload the picture this week to show the beauty of the mount Kinabalu. anyway it will not be the last, will climb it in the future

HDR

What is HDR.? HDR is a technique that allow greater dynamic range of luminance between the lightest and darkest areas of an image than current standard digital imaging techniques or photographic methods (source wikipedia)

so basically to create an HDR image you should take more that 2 shot with different exposure level. however by just using the latest cs5 software u can create a HDR effect with just one photo by using the HDR toning on the tab command. it is a simple process and is a time saving process. all you need to do is adjust the attributes on the HDR toning command

Taman Pertanian Lagud Seberang , Tenom, Sabah

Been to Taman Pertanian Lagud seberang before? well if you never set your foot to taman pertanaian lagud seberang i suggest that u should go there and enjoy the nature by yourself, especially to the photographer. The landscape look nice where there is a lake , a very big kayu balak, a lot of flowers , fruits also. went there last May just for holiday. Infact Tenom is my hometown :)

If any of you interested in nature for your outdoor wedding photoshot, this is one of the recommended place to go.

Wau!!!!!!!! it have been three months i put the blog into silence mode. @___@ . Too busy recently with exam(*#&$#@$&@&*) , work , and photo shooting and editing. I think late May til early June is the most busiest period for this year since i need to do wedding photoshot( almost every weekend), and at the same time preparing myself for the exam which i should do last year. it seems there is no weekend for me but thanks God i manage to go thru it. (fuhh!!)

Finished 2 of the 3 wedding photo editing and here is the two cd cover. hopefully can complete the third one within this month. I think it is still not too late to wish congratulation for the two couples, Jaggil and Philippa and also Fong and Nanja. :)

nah here is my family photo taken at a studio somewhere around penampang( lupa sdha pla nama dia) the idea for this photo is to have a snap before me , or my brothers, or my sister get married. well now 1 down 3 more to go hehehe..

the picture was captured by taking a shot of the complete hardcopy album since no soft copy provided.( actualy there is but u need to pay for it. i guess it is not really neccesary to do that ). i think it is better to utilise my DSLR capacity rather than scanning the photo since it provides better resolution. all u need is a good light condition. flash is not really necessary.

The journey of life is still long ahead, enjoy while riding it, and dont forget to captured the memory.

KK Photoshot

i started my last year holiday by went out for a photoshot outing with my brother for a landscape view of KK. we went to a several place just within kk city. It is good since my brother had bought a new D90 cam,and now both of us is a nikonion. It is a good move anyway since it is more convenient if both of us buy a new lens, both can use it.

what is so good about kk city is that the sky is so blue compare to the haizy and gloomy look of kl city.it just so nice to have a shot with the blue sky above. i have spend 1 week in kk before i went back to my hometown in tenom. a few photo collection of mine will be post later.

Yeah Manage to finaly finish the video clip . it is not a perfect clip but i guess it is a good experience for me on how to do video clip. since im more towards photography i think it will be great if i can do both. more flexible. i plan to do another video clip for my next song and it is depend on my free time. Anyway do enjoy this clip.

Do You Like dog? I love it. Yesterday i went for a photoshot with my friends and their dog. This is the first time i m having an animal photoshot. its a bit tricky since the dog is too active and i have to catch up the movement of it but anyhow i enjoy while doing it.

This project started last July. since i thot that it is good if you could fully utilized what u have rather than something that u dont have. it is a good experience while doing this video clip. i manage to know a bit knowledge on how to do movie editing and it is much more tougher compare to do picture editing.

so this is the making of it, just a simple shot during the shooting. im using canon eos 500D for all the shoot.

My Brother's Wedding

Nov 20th 2010 was the historical date for our family where that is the time when we have a new member in our family. It was the day where a wedding ceremony of my brother being held. Everyone was so excited especially the groom and the bride. Thanks God all the preparation run smoothly without any hassle.

A View at the Paddy Field

Whenever i m at the paddy field , it will strike me with the feeling of home. i like the view of paddy field with the wind blowing, and the sun striking the skin but the scenery makes me forget about the heat. yeah bukan selalu bepanas...so sometime we need to let the melanin quantity increase..

All this photo was shot at Tanjung Karang selangor while doing a photoshot session. I was sweating like mandi but doesnt matter as long as i get what i want.
