Lectia 2 - Despre Etsy Treasuries

O "treasury" sau "lista" cum se spune de obicei in limba romana, este o galerie ce contine produse de pe Etsy.

Listele contin 16 produse. Orice membru poate creea o galerie tematica, sau pur si simplu o colectie cu produse indragite de ei.

- O treasury nu are scopul de auto-promovare.
- Numarul listelor pe care le poti face este nelimitat.
- Dintre aceste treasuries, moderatorii site-ului aleg pentru "front page" (prima pagina) care apare cand cautati www.etsy.com
- Dupa cum observati, la un anumit interval de timp, se schimba lista. Exista milioane de magazine pe etsy, aparitia pe prima pagina va va creste numarul de vizualizari, deci prin urmare si sansele ca produsul sa fie cumparat de cineva.
Din moment ce nu este indicat sa va includeti prorpiile produse in liste, va recomand sa participati in echipe active de facut treasuries. Astfel veti creea liste cu produsele membrilor echipei, si ei la randul lor va va include pe voi.

-Alegeti un titlu potrivit
-Descrierea si tagurile nu sunt obligatorii, dar ajuta la promovarea listei
- Sub fiecare casuta unde scrie "Listing URL" , copiati linkul fiecarui produs SAU Id-ul. Sunt incercuite cu rosu in imaginea de mai jos.

Pentru mai multe sanse ca lista sa fie aleasa pentru prima pagina, fiti la curent cu ce este in trend. Citi blogul

In coloana din treapta veti observa tag-urile cele mai populare.

In acelasi loc, daca dati Search la propriul nume de magazin, veti vedea toate listele pe care le-ati creeat , sau in care ati fost inclusi. Va recomand sa comentati in dreptul acelor liste, si pe viitor sa intoarceti favoarea.

Daca vrei sa fii luat in serios, fii si tu serios cu privire la munca ta.
Incearca sa vinzi ceva unic. Daca mai este cineva care vinde un produs asemanator, fa-l pe al tau special. Incearca o alta abordare a aceluiasi produs: alta culoare, alta intrebuintare, etc. Un aspect important la acest punct este si fotografia. Nu este de ajuns ca produsul tau sa fie frumos, daca numai tu stii asta. O poza curata, artistica poate atrage clienti in comparatie cu o poza prea incarcata, neclara.
Citeste posturile din categoria How to be successful on Etsy despre cum sa iti imbunatatesti fotografiile, pentru mai multe detalii.
Fii clar in descrierea produsului pe care il vinzi. Pune-te in locul cumparatorului, si scrie exact ce fel de produs primeste daca cumpara, cate bucati, ce culoare, masuratori.
Daca vinzi o pereche de cercei de exemplu, incearca sa postezi cel putin o poza cu ei de la distanta normala, o poza de aproape, una cu ei langa ureche, si o una cu ambalajul.
Nu iti abandona magazinul. Chiar daca nu ai vanzari, controleaza-ti cu regularitate mesajele, adauga produse noi, schimba-ti tagurile si titlurile produselor in functie de sezon.

How to improve your Etsy pictures?

First you need a simple, clean background and a good light.
I'm gonna show you a very inexpensive way to improve your photos.

I took a large white cardboard, cut it in half, or 30% - 70%. Put the biggest piece on top, leaving 1 inch from the edge, and tape it across.

That way, you can easily fold it and open it when you need it. Wait for the sun, take your cardboard outside, set it on the table (not in direct sun), open it, set your item on top and you can start your photo session.

For small items, you can use a simple book as a prop or something simple of a different color, so the item will have a better contrast.

If you don't have a professional camera, there's no problem.
Go to http://www.picnik.com/ . It's a free website where you can edit your pictures in 20 seconds.

I'm gonna show you the steps i used to transform the picture bellow.

Click on "Get Started now".
Upload Photo - Choose a File from your Computer
Use the Basic Edits left side bar:
Crop- Select the area you want-Apply
Exposure- Auto Exposure- Apply
On the top Bar you will find "Effects" - Cross Process - 92% Fade- Apply
Save and Share - Name your Photo - And save it
Close Photo and you can start all over again.

Along the way you will notice different Edit Options that you can use. It's very easy to learn.
You can modify the lightning in such a way to give a vintage feel to your picture or any other Effect that is the most suitable to your shop.
