These are some of our favorite memories from 2011. I am going to hang this 12x12 page print on an Everyday Display board so we can enjoy this throughout the coming year. God has been so good to us and this is a great way to remember his blessings.

This is a 12x12 page that I created on Storybook Plus. By the way Storybook Plus has a free 30 day trial. I am going to print this and cut into 4" circles with the circle cutter. I will add a ribbon and send it as my Christmas card! Cute, Unique & Fun. I have a workshop on November 17th from 7-9 pm to teach you lots of great Christmas Card and gifts ideas.

CM has their 5x7 cards on sale. I love this option as you can do a backside as well. This card is using the Holidazzle digital kit which I love as well.

Album of Hope

Our Album of Hope Movement is a new initiative to encourage parents to share their hopes and love for their children in pictures and words. When Nancy O’Dell helped launch the movement, she said, “You have so many hopes and dreams for your children. But how will they know what those are if you don’t tell them?”

So I would like to challenege you to do a book like this for each of your children in March. The best part is the pages are all done for you. Just pick out your best photos and away you go. Click here to download the pre-designed pages for PC & Mac.

Valentines Ideas

These are 4x6 Valentines I made for my two younger kids on Storybook Plus. This is using the new Cheerful Valentines Digital Addition. So cute!! This kit is on sale right now for $2.98. That is a great price.

These are 10x20 boards that I made again with Storybook Plus for my 2 older girls. These can hang on the wall or set on a shelf or dresser. I print them up on a poster size (20x30...3 of them will fit on a poster). Then I take it and mount it and have it cut by professional. It is a fun out of the box way to celebrate your memories.

I'm starting to think teacher gifts!

I love StoryBook and what it has done for my life. Before I was home from vacation I was more than half way done with my vacation storybook. I love them. I made one for Lindsey's
5th Birthday which was today.
Happy Birthday Lindsey.

Thanks to Memory Manager I simply
clicked on my Birthday folder and then cross referenced
my Lindsey folder and found all her birthday photos in a snap.
Then I clicked on the timeline and found a picture from her
1st birthday, 2nd birthday, 3rd birthday and finally her 4th birthday.
The card was adorable with all her birthdays represented.

Of course you would!! We all would. One thing that has helped me take better photos is hearing Nick Kelsh speak and reading his book below. I thought you might find this interesting to take a peek at his website and to watch this great video he put together for CreativeMemories. To watch his video on taking better photos Click Here. It will be well worth your time.

Nick is the author/photographer of nine books including Naked Babies with Anna Quindlen, How to Photograph Your Baby, How to Photograph Your Life, and The Sense of Wonder by Rachel Carson. Just wanted to share this fun idea with you.

This might inspire you to use Storybook Plus
to create one of a kind Valentines
for your kids or those you love.

I took a picture of Lindsey holding a blank heart.

Then I was able to put the sayings on the heart as I wanted.

I printed this as a 12x12 page and cut it up ito small Valentines.

Adorable...

As you know we are in between houses living at our cottage. One of the biggest blessings is that in our old house I had all my albums in my workshop space in the basement. Well here at the cottage there is no workshop space so my albums are in our main living area. Guess what has happened? We are looking at them. The kids will pull them out and spend time laughing and enjoying our memories. Troy and I even sat down and looked at our 2009 picfolio album (which by the way is done...got to love the picfolio!)

Last night I found Megan in her bed with her photo album.
She was reading what I had written. She showed me a page and said,
"Mom that made me cry when I read that!"
It was about her heart and how she is so generous.
It made me realize how important our words are.
Remember next time you are working on your albums that your words are such a gift.
