Taylor Frankie Paul is going on the offensive ... the reality star has just filed a temporary restraining order against her ex Dakota Mortensen, TMZ has learned.
The filing, obtained by TMZ, comes before the estranged couple's court hearing today concerning a protective order that was granted to Dakota against Taylor.
In today's proceedings, Dakota is expected to ask the court to extend his protective order against Taylor into a long-term one, as authorities investigate accusations of domestic violence, which Dakota brought against Taylor.
Taylor has been accused of attacking Dakota on three separate occasions -- once in 2023, another time in 2024, and the last one is alleged to have happened in February of this year. The 2023 incident was captured on video, and resulted in TFP pleading guilty to aggravated assault.
Amid the fallout -- "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" paused filming and her season of "The Bachelorette" was canceled -- TFP has said there's more to the story than what's been made available.
This development may signal that she's closer to revealing her side of things.

TMZ broke the story ... the former Migos rapper was shot Monday near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL.
Law enforcement told us the shooting happened in the valet area and that Offset suffered non-life threatening injuries.
It's been a whirlwind 24 hours for Offset ... so it seems this smoke break is much needed.

A rep for the Seminole Police tells TMZ, "We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood."
The rep added, "Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal."

Tjay was arrested Monday evening by police in Florida and later booked into the Broward County Jail for misdemeanor disorderly conduct-affray, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office. The 24-year-old also posed for a mugshot while being held on a $500 bond.
According to the Seminole Police Department ... Tjay was involved in a fight prior to Offset getting shot. Cops say a second person was detained at the scene, but has not been charged.
