Store clutter!

Do you find yourself having to carefully navigate around your home to avoid stepping on random items on the ground? It might be time to start a decluttering project. Get rid of the things that you don’t need to open up your home. For the things that you can’t throw away (heirlooms, artifacts, and your children’s toys) go ahead and throw them in a storage unit in case you will need those items again.

Home renovations!

Renovating your home leaves you in a state of limbo. As you fix up a room, all of the items are scattered throughout your home cluttering your home. Use your storage unit to store these items. Do you have a lot of equipment and materials, but you don’t have any place to store them? Use your storage unit as well!

Hide gifts!

As children get older, they become sneakier. That secret hiding place where you would hide all of their gifts is probably already uncovered and your children might be waiting for you to start placing things there. Outwit your children and place the gifts in the storage unit. Planning a surprise party? Hide the favors and decorations in the unit.

Those who know us, know that we are a family on the go. From the many times we have moved (7 times in 9 years) – to the spontaneous trips we take. Even if its just a day trip – going requires a lot with 3 kids.

We recently made a trip to Atlanta – where I had a gig to photograph some baby carriers for a company. I recently stumbled upon a fabulous blog, written by Trina Holden, called All That Is Good.  She’s really a breath of fresh air, and she has written an excellent eBook called Real {Fast} Food.  This eBook is full of great tips and tricks on how to incorporate healthy whole foods into your diet, without spending all day in the kitchen.  She shares her family recipes as well, several of which we have tried and enjoyed.
