I love to read. If there were a full time job that just required reading, I’d try to apply for it.

I read blogs about personal finance, parenting, entrepreneurship and crafting – yes a mish mash of subjects. I read books about motivation, self discovery, investing and cooking. Sometimes I read kid literature – Harry Potter, Twilight and a lot of Ramona (by Beverly Cleary) books – because it makes me happy.

So along with Fashionable or Frumpy I decided I do a weekly round up of things I’ve read that made me go “hmmmmmm…..”. The list is short because running around after a toddler doesn’t permit me to read as much as I’d like to.

• Time Waits for No One at Canadian Personal Finance Blog reminds us to start thinking about saving early. Where he was 20 years ago is where I am now. We have all the accounts set up – RESP, RRSP, TFSA, and a savings plan for our future.
• 6 Signs it may be time to move on (or say “I Quit!”) by Million Dollar Journey
• Canadian Dream: Free at 45 says Goodbye Guilt
• Amber writes about lessons she’s learned about blogging in her Bloggers are Real People post
• Gail Vaz Oxlade tells us to Quit Your Unsustainable Life because money is a finite resource
