Looking for this week’s Fashionable or Frumpy post? It’s here.

I love to read. If there were a full time job that just required reading, I’d try to apply for it.

I read blogs about personal finance, parenting, entrepreneurship and crafting – yes a mish mash of subjects. I read books about motivation, self discovery, investing and cooking. Sometimes I read kid literature – Harry Potter, Twilight and a lot of Ramona (by Beverly Cleary) books – because it makes me happy.

So along with Fashionable or Frumpy I decided I do a weekly round up of things I’ve read that made me go “hmmmmmm…..”. The list is short because running around after a toddler doesn’t permit me to read as much as I’d like to.

Time Waits for No One at Canadian Personal Finance Blog reminds us to start thinking about saving early. Where he was 20 years ago is where I am now. We have all the accounts set up – RESP, RRSP, TFSA, and a savings plan for our future.

Canadian Dream: Free at 45 says Goodbye Guilt

Amber writes about lessons she’s learned about blogging in her Bloggers are Real People post

Gail Vaz Oxlade tells us to Quit Your Unsustainable Life because money is a finite resource

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. For those taking a trip for Spring break (March break) – have a wonderful and safe holiday!
