As a loyal iPhone user, I was a little skeptical about trying the new Pantech Burst smartphone from AT&T. But after testing it out for a bit, I’m really glad I did.  The first things I noticed that I really liked were:

* Super clear and colorful screen.

* Slim and sleek design.

*Long battery life.  I was able to go 3 days at one point without charging it.

* My absolute favorite part is the camera!  This phone takes great still photos and records 720 HD video.  There is a front-facing and a rear-facing camera for more photo and video options.

Right off the bat, I was able to figure out the basics of how to use the phone.  As soon as I powered up, I saw that the home screen is easy to navigate and figure out.  Check out more in my video demo below:

Overall, I really, really like this phone.  The small, slim design, ease of use and variety of features make it the perfect phone for moms on the go.  I downloaded several apps for my four year old son and it keeps him busy and entertained while we are out and about.  If you get the chance to check out this phone in person, make sure you play around with the Sketch Pad app.  It’s a fun and cool little app that lets you doodle and take notes.  My son loves it!

Even though I don’t have any credit cards right now, I am super intrigued with this new Barclaycard Ring credit card that is different than the ordinary credit cards available today.  What makes this card different is the fact that the customers actually get to decide how the terms of the card will operate.  For example, through social and online networks, a community manager will facilitate conversations among members about fees, customer service and website features.

The website states that:

I’ve been hearing about Scentsy for years.  I’ve seen displays at tradeshows, conferences, and schools.  I’ve even been invited to “Scentsy parties,” gotten several copies of catalogs, and sampled a variety of scents in fruity, floral, and unique flavors.  But it wasn’t until I had the opportunity to review a Scentsy warmer and the Guava scent wax that I finally understood what all the hoopla was about… LOL

To begin, I got the cupcake shaped warmer.  And the way it works, is that you remove the top portion of the cupcake and you put a piece of the wax in the dish that sits right over the light bulb.  When you turn the light bulb on, the heat from the light begins to melt the wax and release the scent. I was able to remelt the wax several times before it had to be replaced, but the scent obviously got less and less strong each time.  But in general, the warmer and wax are both very easy to use and the wax is very easy to replace.  I couldn’t figure out an easy way to remove the wax once it cooled, but I read somewhere that you can put it in the freezer and it should just pop out in one piece.

Overall, this little thing is such a delight.  I love how it makes the room smell yummy and the soft glow of the light inside is another relaxing and soothing benefit.  The other good thing about Scentsy, is that since it is not a candle, you don’t have to worry about an open flame, which for me is perfect considering I have a very active four year old and a dog who loves to run around the house.

As a reward for a job well done with potty training, I gave my son a set of new Bobble Bots Moshi Monsters.  If you haven’t heard of these, they are a collection of cute little robotic creatures that come with customizable playsets.  We received the Main Street and the Cobblestore corner sets, along with “Rocky” the Moshling monster.

My son played with this thing for the entire day.  He even had it next to him while he ate lunch and dinner.  The little monsters move across the little boards and offer lots of creativity and imagination for your little one.  These sets are made for both boys and girls so kids ages 3 and up can enjoy this.  Below is a video showing how the Bobble Bots work.

What I really like about the Bobble Bots is the fact that they are so portable.  My son had a dentist appointment and he brought his little Bobble Bots Moshi Monsters playset with him.  It was great to have this little toy to keep him busy in the waiting room.  And it made for a great conversation starter for him and dentist as well.

Another fun element to the Moshi Monsters is the online world.  Each little monster comes with its own secret code to unlock prizes, games and adopt new monsters.  Of course, I recommend going online with your child to supervise their activity.

Overall, I highly recommend this toy for your child.  It’s a wonderful way to encourage their creativity and stimulate their imaginations.
