It’s here! The holiday gift guide you have all been waiting for! I’m actually posting it six days earlier than last year. I feel like Leah and I just pulled an all nighter for finals. Every year, when we start strategizing the guide, I say this is the year we cull it back, but then we get into a groove, and we just can’t stop ourselves. We have 70 categories this year, and yes, I did think for a second that it would be funny to stop at 67, but we can’t let the kids dictate everything!

This year is more tween and teen focused than ever, with items starting around 6+. I know people want me to do baby and toddler stuff, but I am just not familiar with that space anymore. I think most of my followers are either parents of older kids or child-free young adults, so it felt right to concentrate our energy there. And we’ve got gift ideas for spouses, siblings, grandparents, co-workers, etc.

For the first year ever, I made myself a wishlist, did a list of all the things that worked on Mike and Leah put her wishlist in there too. Fun fact! Leah and I work on this guide together for weeks at a time, working off the same Canva doc with all the graphics. Every time I see an item that seems like an odd choice, I say, “Can you explain the thinking behind this item?” And without fail, the answer is always, “Oh because that’s something I own and it’s my favorite thing on earth.” Well, okay, I didn’t know anyone felt that strongly about a fast drying bathmat or a very specific pen, but we’ll keep them in.

Alright, I’m gonna keep this brief because let’s be honest, everyone is going to skip to the lists. As usual, Leah and I tried to cover every single kind of kid, tween, teen, young adult, grown up and senior citizen possible. We put a special focus on the tween and teen categories because those are the hardest to find, but a lot of the categories have gifts that span age groups too.

As always, we put the hot new toys and the bestsellers from previous years at the top. There are a whole bunch of new categories that seem particularly 2024, like kids who know their memes, boys who have suddenly discovered the bathroom mirror, Nara Smiths in the making and fandom categories for pretty much every popstar. But we also stand by some of the categories from last year, so a few might look familiar with some updated items. Mazzy, Harlow, Jack and Neve’s new wishlists are all in there too.

It’s here! The gift guide to end all gift guides!!! Whatever holiday you celebrate and whoever you are shopping for, you should be able to find something on this list!

We’re following the same format as last year: starting with some general categories, like “hottest new toys,” and “last year’s best sellers,” and then moving on to categories by age with Mazzy, Harlow, Jack and Neve’s current wishlists, as well as their favorite gifts from previous years. After that, I’ve got all the categories by interest, with a heavy focus on gifts that will appeal to big kids, tweens, teens and even some young adults. And then the grown-up categories by interest for moms, dads, grandparents, friends, co-workers, etc. Although, as my kids get older, I’ve realized there is more and more overlap with the adult gifts, so don’t be afraid to peruse the whole guide to find the perfect present. For instance, your 45 year-old bestie might be a mushroom enthusiast just like Harlow.

Leah and I worked super hard on this guide (Leah even roped her friends into helping flesh out some categories one Sunday evening), so we hope you enjoy! Every year is a labor of love, but we have so much fun putting it all together and getting super creative. We worked especially hard trying to figure out some good husband and teen boy gifts, because those are always the hardest.

It’s here! The gift guide to end all gift guides!!! Whatever holiday you celebrate and whoever you are shopping for, you should be able to find something on this list!

I’ve broken up the categories a little differently this year. I included some general categories, like “hottest new toys,” “old school family games” and “toys to play with on Christmas morning.” FYI, Those toys are for big kids too– don’t forget to get them toys, even if they say they are too old for them!

Next, I’ve got Mazzy, Harlow, Jack and Neve’s current wishlists broken down by age, but instead of putting every year’s previous wish list like usual, I culled them together to include just their favorites. All the fave items are tried, tested, and beloved. After that, I’ve got all the categories by interest, with a heavy focus on gifts that will appeal to big kids, tweens and teens. (You know, the hardest people to shop for.)

And then, because I know a lot of my followers are empty nesters with college age kids and older, I included categories for grown-ish kids who are out on their own for the first time. And lastly, I’ve got stuff for the men in your life, the grandparents and YOU!
