Andrew Lloyd Webber’s PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, originally produced by Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Theatre Company Limited, has become one of the most successful shows in the world. The original London stage production is now the second longest-running musical ever. It opened on Broadway on January 26, 1988, directed by Harold Prince. I have been in the workout/fitness space for many years now. My training has altered a lot during that time, and as I get older I realize the importance of recovery. Many weeks I'd spend 6-7 days in the gym, and didn't care about recovery and now I'm realizing just how silly that was. Stretching, yoga and rolling out your muscles is VERY important to how you feel and how your body performs.

Enter Oceanfoam. They have taken a popular item (foam rollers) and made them sustainable. Using algae and recycled materials, they made the Ripple and Tide rollers, and now most recently the Wave Ball Rollers. I've received each item and am very pleased!

I received the Tidal and Ripple Roller Bundle, as well as the 3 of the Wave Ball Rollers. I received the Tidal (full size roller) in Jade. The Ripple (travel) in the Navy, Red and White and the Wave Ball rollers in Jade Seafoam Marbled, Hot Pink and Champagne Gold.

The rollers are just perfect for me. Great for rolling out calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes and more. I also use the travel roller placed on my lower back while sitting to improve posture and help stretch.

I use both of them equivalently and it just depends on what my needs are. I can use the larger one to roll both calves, hamstrings or quads at the same time, so that is nice.

And the roller balls have quickly become a favorite! After a long day at work on my feet, I roll my feet on them and it feels amazing and stretches out the sole of my foot. They're also great for rolling on your neck, or your jawbone!

If you are going to be having a baby soon, congratulations! A new life is always going to be super exciting, but it’s important that you are doing your best to get ready for this. Even if you have become a parent before, that doesn’t mean that you are ready for the responsibility of handling two or more of them now.

The good news is that we’ve got some advice for you. Now, we know that a lot of people come at you with a lot of unwanted advice when you’re pregnant, so if you don’t want to read what we have to say, that’s okay. Do You Want To Breastfeed?

The first thing that you’re going to need to think about is whether or not you want to breastfeed. Now, we know that there is a lot of debate around this topic and it’s super controversial, but we do want to say one thing over everything else. You do not have to breastfeed if you do not want to. You do not owe a single person an explanation for this, and it’s completely your choice. Some people want to but they are unable to, or they don’t produce enough milk so they end up combination feeding. Some people simply don’t want to, but others love to breastfeed.

As the mother, you are going to need to do whatever is best for you and your baby, nobody else. If you want to allow other people to feed your baby and you are breastfeeding then you can always pump your milk so that they can have it from a bottle. Do be aware though that there are some breastfed babies who have no interest in a bottle. Whatever you want to do, figure it out and go with that, you know best.

What Are You Going To Need For The Baby?

You also need to make a list of all of the things that you are going to need for the baby. For example, you are going to need to purchase bottles, a sterilizer, clothes, and a whole load more. Another thing that you should be looking at is somewhere for them to sleep. Some people prefer to go straight to a cot next to their bed, others prefer to co-sleep, while some prefer a bassinet. If you’re opting for the latter, we recommend looking at a smart bassinet buyers guide so that you get all of the information that you need. When it comes to sleeping, we strongly recommend looking at guidelines on safe sleep.

Once you have your list sorted, you can start going through and ticking off items. Make sure that you’re not ticking off anything until you have got it, just to be on the safe side. You don’t want to accidentally mark off something you don’t have, and then end up going without for a while.

Start Stocking Up On The Essentials

The essentials are something that you’re going to need to start stocking up on as soon as you can. If you are not going to be breast feeding then we do recommend you start purchasing formula when you have some spare cash, just so that it’s less of a stress after the baby arrives. Of course, check the expiration dates before making a purchase because the last thing you need is to buy formula that won’t be any good by the time the baby comes.

You also need to be sticking up on diapers, clothes, blankets, sleeping bags and more. The more that you can get, the less stressful it’s going to be when the baby arrives as you will have everything ready to go.

If You Have Other Kids…

If you have other kids, then you need to explain to them what is happening. You will need to explain to them that you are having another baby, so they are going to have a sibling, and what this is going to mean. Assure them that this does not mean that you love them any less, but that you are just expanding your family and there is going to be one more person to love.

It might take a few conversations, and you need to be as open and honest as you can throughout this process. Answer any questions that they may have, let them know that a lot of the time babies are loud, and prepare yourself for and them for what is to come to the best of your ability.

You Can Never Be Fully Prepared

The final thing that we’re going to say is that you can never be fully prepared for having a baby. Whether it’s your first, second, or third baby, you can never be fully prepared for what is to come, and that’s okay. If you already have kids then you have some idea of what to expect, but there is nothing to say for sure that the next one is going to be the same. It’s a challenge, it’s a process, and it’s something that you just have to take one day at a time.

We also want you to know that it’s okay if you struggle. There are people out there who know how you feel, and you are never alone, even if it may feel like you are.

I have been using the same style of headphones for many years. I'm on my second pair, but I've been wanting to try something new. So when I was contacted by iLive Electronics, I was ready to try their Wireless Earbuds!

The earbuds have a sporty hook design to keep them in place. And they DOOOO stay in place I use these in the gym, hiking and even running and they do not fall out of my sweaty ears (ewww). They really do stay put. Even when I lay down on a bench.

These earbuds have been wonderful. They are waterproof, have a built in microphone, does voice prompts and more. These earbuds are pretty much noise cancelling as well. It's really easy to hit my workouts with these buds in as I can't hear much outside noise like I could with my other headphones.

I love the rechargeable case too and the charge on the case lasts FOREVER, it seems. Really easy to keep the case charged with the micro-usb and just drop the buds in and they charge up. The case honestly lasts a couple weeks on the full charge. So my buds are always ready to go!

The buds also come with 3 sets of eartips (small, medium and large) and a limited 90 day warranty, as well. I have thoroughly enjoyed using these earbuds and I love the hook design the most so I know I won't lose them!

Price: $79.99 so definitely a better price than higher end brands!

Overall: ***** for sure. I haven't found a single negative for these earbuds yet.

When you are a parent, arguably the number one concern you have is your child’s health and wellbeing. As long as they are healthy and well, you are going to rightly feel that you have done your job as a parent, and this is exactly what you should have been doing. Of course, it can be challenging to know exactly what to expect here and how to approach it, but in general you are going to find that it’s something you can always improve upon.

In this post, we are going to take a look at what you can do to ensure that you are properly caring for your children’s wellbeing in the most important ways. All of the following are hugely important concerns when it comes to that, so let’s take a look and see what you might want to bear in mind here.

Start With Diet

First and perhaps foremost, you need to make sure that your child has a good diet. Ever since becoming extremely caffeine sensitive about 15 years ago, I've become a huge tea lover. No tea bothers my caffeine sensitivity so I don't limit myself (I do stay away from Yerba Mate and Oolong) and love to enjoy tea hot or iced. When Adagio asked me to review their new Advent Calendar I quickly obliged. I can't turn down the chance to try some good loose leaf tea!

I was sent the new 2023 Advent Calendar to check out! This is such a fun one for the month of December and counting down to the Holidays. And inside was some YUMMY tea options. Most are no-low caffeine, a few are higher, but my daughter indulged in those.

We have had SO MUCH FUN opening our Advent calendar every day in October, and we have a 2nd one that we get to save for December too. The tea bags are just enough for one 8oz cup of tea and the tea is VERY YUMMY. We received the loose leaf version, but you can also grab tea bags too, if that's more your style.

Each bag has the ingredients/notes on the back, as well as brewing directions, which takes all the guesswork out of it.

We also received the Autumn Teas sampler box + 2 extra teas. Adagio really likes to take care of us! My daughter and I are both tea lovers, so these are perfect for us.

All the tea I've tried so far is amazing and I have 0 complaints about any. Their tea is of a high quality and it brews flawlessly. Just follow the time on each bag and you're good to go. Nothing gets bitter and it's all pretty strong tea compared to some others I've tried where you need to double the amount to get any flavor out of the tea leaves.

The variety of tea they offer is awesome. You can choose from the type of tea you want, or iced tea, or tea bags. They make it very simple and the best part is you don't need to order loose leaf, you can get bags as well. Loose leaf tends to scare some people, but it's really easy I promise!! When I first started drinking loose tea (about 10 years ago), I bought a tea tablespoon and a reusable tea infuser and it makes it incredibly easy to use loose leaf!

Price: Everything varies, but I've found it's very competitive with other high end, quality brands.

If you've ever flown on a plane (or maybe even if you haven't), you'll know that, in the event of an emergency, you're told to put your own mask on before helping anyone else. This is because you're better prepared to help others if you help yourself first. And this is a lesson that all parents should take to heart, even outside of the context of an extremely rare aircraft failure. By taking care of yourself first, you can be a better mom. When you're happy and healthy, you're able to be there for your children more fully. There are several ways you can make sure you're putting your mask on first.

Make Time for Self-Care

Self-care isn't just about the basic things you do to care for yourself every day, although things like showering and brushing your hair can come into it too. It's all of the things that you do to care for your own needs, both physically and mentally. Your self-care might include taking a few minutes for yourself each morning or evening, or making sure you follow a healthy bedtime routine. Ensuring we can get more out of life as a parent is about making the most of the time we have as a family. Many parents can make the mistake of thinking that the more time they spend with their family, the better, but it's actually about the quality of time you have, especially in this modern world. So what can we do to ensure that we are focusing on quality time rather than quantity time?

Create Traditions

Traditions are a very simple way to strengthen your bond as a family. The trick here is to not overthink it because you can establish simple family traditions like a weekly game night or an outdoor adventure. Likewise, you could watch these movies with the whole family as part of a movie night. We don't need to think too hard because the fact that you are all together is a great place to begin. Some parents can think that they need to make the moment truly special by forcing conversation, but if people aren't feeling it, something like a movie night or a practice that diverts focus will be just as valuable.

Plan Things Together

Another way to spend quality time would be to work together on events that everybody will benefit from. This can take quite a bit of practice because if you've got a number of children who want to do something that suits them, you've got to teach the importance of being considerate to their siblings. It is essential to stimulate discussion to make sure that we're doing things that benefit everybody or at the very least everybody can get something out of it. Because if one child wants to do something that benefits them but the other kids are not on board, this is not going to make for a very enjoyable event for a number of reasons beyond personal preference. It could also be a bone of contention between siblings that could cause scuffles!

Be Present

It's easier than ever to be distracted and we can find that over time we feel the temptation to stare at our phones. Consider making family time a tech-free zone so you can be fully present during family activities and practice skills like active listening. Active listening may sound complex but very simply it's about giving the person you're with your undivided attention and showing interest in what they have to say while responding thoughtfully. It's something we all struggle with these days but if you can start to practice it you will all get a lot more out of family time.

Bring the Humor Back

If you are thinking about more ways to spend time together because the kids are getting older and there's only so much time left, you can understandably feel that pressure to make every moment count. Sometimes it's just about making sure that you all feel relaxed as a family. It could be a very tense household because of numerous pressures, so learning to embrace playfulness and humor can help you connect and, over time, bring your guards down.
