At Red Orange Studio, we believe that business is about more than the bottom line. True success comes when we create impact—doing good for our community while doing great work for our clients. That’s why volunteerism has been part of our DNA for nearly two decades, and why we continue to refine and grow how we engage in community service.

Recently, we shared insights with business leaders at a Virginia CEOs Square Table discussion on how to design volunteer programs that are not only meaningful, but also sustainable. The conversation reinforced what we’ve long believed: employee volunteerism is one of the most powerful ways to align company values with community needs.

Why Volunteerism Matters for Business

Volunteerism isn’t just a feel-good activity. Structured programs deliver measurable benefits:

7x higher employee engagement (12x if you give your employees options)

Stronger in brand trust and reputation

Improvement in retention with 94% of companies say volunteering helps build a resilient business

(source: Benevity, 2025 State of Corporate Purpose Report)

Making It Work: A Three-Step Framework

Brand Alignment – Choose focus areas that reflect your brand values, your people, and your culture. Give your employees a few options for engaging.

Track Key Metrics – Measure hours, participation, pro bono contributions, and impact stories.

Share the Impact – Communicate outcomes transparently—internally with your team and externally with clients, partners, and the community.

“We want this to be more than checking a box on social media. The goal is to create something meaningful that connects with who we are as a company.”
– VACEOs CEO

How B Corp Helps Us Stay Accountable

As one of only 40 certified B Corps in Virginia, Red Orange Studio is proud to meet rigorous standards for social and environmental performance. B Corp certification requires us to measure and report on the impact of our volunteerism, ensuring that our commitment to doing good is not just aspirational, but proven.

A Practical Example: The PIP Project

Our own initiative, The PIP Project (People Inspiring People), provides pro-bono marketing and creative services to nonprofits each year. Since 2018, PIP has awarded more than $300,000 in services, enabling mission-driven organizations to amplify their impact. By branding and formalizing the program, we’ve ensured it remains sustainable year after year—and provided a model for other companies to follow. Together with our PIP Partners, we’re on a mission to provide $1 Million in pro-bono services to nonprofits in Virginia by 2030.

Getting Started

If you’re considering how to launch or strengthen your own volunteer program, begin with these steps:

Identify 1–3 causes that authentically align with your brand.

Define clear goals and metrics.

Assign a “champion” to coordinate efforts.

Keep it simple, sustainable, and fun.

“Start with what you have and where you are. Don’t overcomplicate it. Even one initiative can make a lasting difference.”
– Susie Fife, CEO & Strategist, Red Orange Studio

When businesses approach volunteerism with intentionality, we can create programs that engage employees, strengthen communities, and build a legacy of impact.

At Red Orange Studio, we believe in the power of creativity to connect, to engage, and to make an impact. That’s why we’re honored that our rebrand for Virginia Voice has been selected by the Mid-Atlantic Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development to receive a MASHSMD Excellence Award—a recognition that celebrates innovation and impact in healthcare marketing.

Virginia Voice is a nonprofit on a mission to connect individuals with disabilities to news, information, and culture using technology and the human voice. When they approached us with a request to modernize their visual identity, we saw an opportunity to do more than just create a logo—we saw a chance to amplify their message and make their mission more visible, accessible, and powerful.

Together, we created a brand identity that reflects the heart of Virginia Voice: connection, inclusion, and community. The logo design uses sound waves to form the shape of Virginia, with colorful bars symbolizing both diversity and human connection. Most importantly, the design meets ADA accessibility standards, reinforcing our shared commitment to equity and belonging.

Since the rebrand launch, Virginia Voice has seen:

A 7x increase in Facebook engagement

A 75% boost in LinkedIn page views

A surge in community pride, with a demand for branded hoodies, mugs, and merch

We’re especially proud of the story this brand tells—not just in design elements, but in its ripple effect. The new identity has helped Virginia Voice show up with clarity and confidence.

Why It Matters

Receiving an award is always an honor, but what makes this one so meaningful is the why behind the work. This project exemplifies what drives us every day at Red Orange: purposeful design that makes a positive impact in the community. It’s a reminder that thoughtful branding can amplify voices and bring people together.

To the team at Virginia Voice—thank you for trusting us with your story. To our partners at Feedback – thank you for providing the ethnographic research and insights that informed our design. And to our team members who put their whole hearts into this project – thank you for creating impact.

B Corp Month is all about celebrating businesses that believe in doing well by doing good. Yesterday, Red Orange Studio hosted a special breakfast and panel discussion, bringing together Richmond-area business leaders who are committed to using business as a force for good. It was an inspiring morning filled with shared stories, deep insights, and powerful takeaways about what it truly means to be a B Corp.

Why B Corp Matters

This year’s B Corp Month is centered around the spirit of Gen B—a generation of changemakers who take action and believe in making business better for people and the planet. With 40 Certified B Corps in Virginia and nearly 9,000 worldwide, this movement is growing, proving that profit and purpose are not mutually exclusive.

As our CEO and B Corp champion Susie Fife put it, “We’ve always been a purpose-driven company. Becoming a Certified B Corporation gives us the accountability to measure our impact and the inspiration to keep pushing forward. We’re honored to be part of this global community.”

The Power of Purpose-Driven Business

The event featured a dynamic panel discussion moderated by Stacy Thomas, CEO of Good Run Research & Recreation, with panelists:

Roberta Keller, Founder & CEO of Alexis Advisors

Justin Ayars, CEO of equalityMD

Susie Fife, Founder & CEO of Red Orange Studio

Each panelist shared their unique journey to becoming a B Corp and how it has shaped their business.

On what it means to be a B Corp: “B Corp Certification isn’t just a label—it’s a commitment. It means choosing vendors and partners who align with your values, supporting your employees with transparency, and being held accountable for the impact you make,” said Roberta Keller.

On doing well by doing good: “The idea that purpose and profit can’t go hand in hand is outdated. We’ve built businesses that prove you can be financially successful while making a real difference,” said Justin Ayars. “The B Corp movement helps us stay true to our values and build a better future for everyone.”

Building Community Through Impact

Guests were encouraged to engage with the conversation through interactive activities, including a community guestbook where they wrote down something they learned about B Corps. One of the most common themes? People + Profit—reinforcing that businesses thrive when they prioritize both.

The discussion also highlighted how B Corp status fosters collaboration. Our PIP Nonprofit Award is a perfect example, having provided over $300,000 in pro bono creative services to Virginia nonprofits. Together with our PIP Partners, Red Orange aims to donate $1 million in pro bono services by 2030.

The Future of B Corps

With more businesses recognizing the power of values-driven growth, the panelists agreed that the B Corp movement will only continue to gain momentum. As Susie Fife shared: “We all have spheres of influence—why not use them to create positive change?”

For companies considering B Corp Certification, the panelists emphasized that it’s not about marketing—it’s about action. “If you’re already doing the work, B Corp gives you a framework to measure and improve,” said Roberta Keller.

Celebrating a Movement, Not Just a Moment

As the event wrapped up, there was a shared sense of energy and purpose in the room. Guests left with new connections, fresh ideas, and a deeper commitment to using business as a force for good.

Red Orange Studio is proud to be a Certified B Corporation, and we invite others to join the movement.

What if you could take a month-long paid sabbatical from your job? What would you do? This question was no hypothetical icebreaker for our brand art director Haley Hollenbach. She was faced with the real-life opportunity to do whatever she wanted after being offered a sabbatical in celebration of her seven year anniversary at Red Orange. She chose to spend part of it on a volunteer mission trip abroad.

Haley visited Spain with her local church who partners with Serge, an organization that provides missionary care to children. She dedicated her time to childcare for third culture kids who tend to struggle with a sense of belonging. She spent her days with high-school aged children leading bible studies, playing games, eating meals, and playing sports together.

Here’s Haley’s story of creating impact on her sabbatical:

What’s something that you learned or something that challenged you during this experience?

This experience forced me out of my comfort zone by giving me opportunities to meet and collaborate with new people. Additionally, I typically volunteer with younger children so working with high schoolers was new, challenging, and exciting!

What does “create impact” mean to you? Why is it important to uphold this core value?

Creating impact means being willing to spend intentional time with someone and enter into their world. It’s important because it reminds us that we’re a part of a bigger story outside of ourselves.

How does Red Orange encourage your efforts to give back to the community?

Red Orange has not only supported but celebrated my decision to spend a 10-day sabbatical volunteering abroad. It’s a true indication of how deeply they value people and creating environments that encourage selflessness and connection.

What advice would you give someone who wants to become more involved in their community?

Find a need in your local community. Take a friend with you and take the first step. I am very involved with my church, so I started by volunteering at church events.

Creating Impact at Red Orange

One of our core values at Red Orange is to create impact. We are passionate about using our gifts and talents to make a difference and we inspire others to do the same. That means we work together as a team on volunteer activities and pro-bono projects. But it also means that many of our team members actively volunteer and donate their time and talent to causes that hold meaning to them.

We’re inspired by Haley and her dedication to serving others. As part of our mission, the Red Orange team is committed to volunteering in our community, serving nonprofits and using our business as a force for good.

If you’ve ever logged into a website and suddenly noticed an error message where your Google Map used to be, you’re not alone. This is one of the most common issues we’re seeing across client sites — and it almost always comes down to billing or API configuration inside Google Cloud.

Let’s break it down.

Google Maps Isn’t “Free” Anymore

Google Map APIs are managed in Google Cloud, which operates on a pay-as-you-go model. Google does provide a monthly free usage credit that covers many small-to-moderate traffic sites (under 10,000 map loads per month), but — this is the important part — an active billing account must be attached to the project for maps to load at all.

We’re also seeing cases where sites were originally set up using Google’s 90-day free trial. Once that trial expires, maps will stop working unless a valid payment method is attached and fully activated.

If your map is breaking, it’s usually one of these:

The project is still on an expired free trial

Billing isn’t linked to the correct Google Cloud project

The billing account is inactive or missing an active payment method

Required APIs aren’t enabled

The API key isn’t properly restricted

Here’s how to fix it.

Step 1: Create a Google Cloud Account

If you don’t already have one:

Go to the Google Cloud Console.

Sign in with your Google account (Gmail or work account).

Create a new project (or confirm you’re inside the correct one).

Everything — billing, APIs, and keys — lives inside a specific project, so this step matters.

Step 2: Add and Activate Billing

Go to Billing in the Google Cloud Console.

Click Create Billing Account.

Add a valid payment method.

Make sure the billing account is fully activated and in good standing.

Link the billing account to your Maps project.

Even if your site never exceeds the monthly free credit, billing must remain active for Maps to function.

Step 3: Enable Required APIs

Inside your project:

Go to APIs & Services → Library

Make sure these APIs are enabled:
– Maps JavaScript API
– Places API
– Geocoding API

If these aren’t turned on, your map may not load properly — even if billing is configured correctly.

Step 4: Generate and Restrict Your API Key

Once billing and APIs are enabled:

Go to: https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/credentials

Find your Google Maps API key in the list.

Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to it.

Under Application restrictions, select: HTTP referrers (web sites)

In the Website restrictions section, add your domain URLs (one per line):
(Replace “yourdomain.com” with your actual domain. Sometimes it also helps to add the exact page URL your map will show up on. Also make sure you include the /* wildcard!)

Click Save.

Wait 5–10 minutes for the changes to take effect.

Restricting the API key to your domain protects it from unauthorized use and prevents unexpected charges.

What This Means for Website Owners

Google Maps is still a great option — but it requires proper configuration. The most common cause of broken maps today is an expired free trial or a billing account that was never fully activated.

If your map disappears, don’t panic. Check:

Is billing attached and active?

Are the correct APIs enabled?

Is the API key restricted to your domain?

Nine times out of ten, that’s the fix.

Susie Fife, founder and CEO, answers some questions on B Corp and what that means for Red Orange.

Q&A

Q. Why did you want to certify as a B Corp?

A. I have a passion for helping people and believe that Red Orange Studio can be a catalyst for good. Being a part of this global movement will provide us with a community of businesses that share those same beliefs. My hope is to learn from others and become better.

Q. Through the B Impact Assessment, every B Corp is scored on five impact areas: Workers, Environment, Customers, Community and Governance. How did Red Orange score in these areas and what makes Red Orange qualify as a B Corp?

A. After a long assessment process, our overall B Impact Score landed at 98.4. We received high scores specifically in the areas of Workers and Community, meaning that our business operations have a direct positive impact on our employees and our community through specific DEI initiatives, and civic engagement policies. To ensure we were held accountable to these practices, we were required to make a change to our legal documents stating that our decision-making incorporates all stakeholders including our community, customers, and the environment.

Q. How are you doing business differently?

A. More than 55% of our revenue in 2023 and 2024 was from established nonprofits and this is unique to creative agencies our size. Our pro-bono program, the PIP Nonprofit Award, makes us different and contributed to us becoming a B Corporation, along with our HBCU Internship Program.

Q. What did you learn or what challenges did you overcome?

A. I learned that there are small things we can do to make an impact when done consistently. And I learned the importance of measuring our impact and setting goals that our team can rally around and be proud to be a part of, like customer satisfaction, charitable giving as a percentage of profit, and nonprofit clients as a percentage of revenue.

Q. Speaking of goals…what areas are you focusing on in the future?

A. The bottom line is we want to help our clients and the people they serve. We want to make working with and working for Red Orange a great experience. That looks like simplifying our process, making work fun and meaningful, helping our clients tell their impact stories in creative ways… And it also means setting ambitious goals like giving away $1M worth of pro-bono services by 2030.

Q. What are some other B Corps that inspire you?

A. Warby Parker is one of my favorites. But I’m also inspired by Phlow, a local Pharmaceutical company; and Firespring, a fellow creative agency in Nebraska who was the first to become a B Corp in that state several years ago.

Q. How can others be a part of the B Corp journey?

A. You don’t have to become B Corp certified to make an impact. Start small.

Develop a green team or a volunteer program.

Measure one impact on the environment, your team or the community.

Adopt a nonprofit for a year.

Create a repeatable social impact program.

Tell your story.

Need help? Message me if you want to learn more!

We are grateful for the support and guidance from Kerrie McDevitt at Impact Growth Partners who assisted us over the past year with the B Impact Assessment and documentation.

What’s Next

B Corp certification isn’t a one-time achievement—it’s an ongoing commitment. Every three years, we’ll go through reassessment and verification to ensure we meet B Lab’s evolving standards.

Certification doesn’t mean a company is perfect; it means we’re dedicated to continual improvement and collective action toward economic systems change.

One of the advantages of a WordPress website is the compatibility and easy integration of plugins. Popular plugins can add functionality and enhance the user experience — all while making your workflow easier.

However, it’s important to proceed with caution before adding a plugin. Some plugins can cause more harm than good, leading to security vulnerabilities, performance issues or compatibility challenges.

Here are three key factors to consider before installing a plugin:

Plugin Conflicts

One of the most common issues with plugins is conflict with your site’s existing theme or existing plugins. Even if a plugin seems compatible with your platform, updates to either the plugin or your theme can lead to unexpected errors. These conflicts can cause features to malfunction or, in the worst case, break your site entirely.

Security Vulnerabilities

Plugins are often targeted by hackers because they can introduce security holes. If a plugin isn’t regularly updated or maintained, it could leave your site vulnerable to cyberattacks. Always check the plugin’s update history and user reviews before installing, and make sure it’s from a reputable source.

Site Performance Impact

Plugins can slow down your website by adding unnecessary code or consuming too many resources. Overloading your site with too many plugins can result in longer loading times, which can negatively impact user experience and SEO rankings.

Before adding any plugin, make sure you do some homework to protect your site.

Start by making sure you understand the problem you’re trying to solve. Are you looking to boost SEO, add e-commerce functionality or improve website speed? Keep that goal in mind to help you narrow down options and avoid installing unnecessary plugins.

Be sure to check reviews and ratings. Popular plugins like Yoast SEO, WooCommerce, and Contact Form 7 have thousands of reviews and high ratings for a reason. Look for plugins with a strong track record of reliability, positive feedback, and regular updates.

Consult your developer. They can evaluate the plugin, assess compatibility, identify potential security risks and fully understand the impact on site performance.

Before you install any plugin or run any updates, make sure you’ve made a backup. That way if something goes wrong, you can easily revert to a clean copy of your site.

Test the plugin on a staging site before deploying it live. This way you know if the plugin plays nicely with your site before you try it in your live environment!

If you’re unsure about a plugin or need advice on how it might impact your site OR if you’re tired of relying exclusively on plugins and want a website more tailored to your particular needs, contact our team. We’re always happy to help!

Looking to build trust and foster meaningful connections with customers and employees? Measuring your company’s social impact and telling that story authentically is not only a good business practice, but it can help build consumer and team loyalty. Consumers consider social impact when making purchase decisions, and job candidates are increasingly seeking workplaces that have a meaningful purpose. It’s clear that showing how companies contribute to the community matters.

So how do you tell the story of your social impact in a way that is authentic, professional and relatable to your audience? As with any other storytelling, the key to success is in sharing the emotion and the human experience created by your impact initiatives. With real stories about real people, you can make a real difference in engaging your audience and building awareness around your impact.

It’s important to start with the numbers. Measurable results bring credibility. Use the data to demonstrate your progress, such as the number of people reached, the environmental impact, or funds raised. While it’s important to measure the data, your social impact story has to be more than just numbers; it’s about the lives touched, the progress made, and the commitment behind your work. The good news is that there are many ways to tell your impact story and share your success. Here are just a few ideas to get you started!

Ten Ways to Tell Your Social Impact Story

1. Create a social impact page on your website.

Having a page that focuses on social responsibility initiatives, complete with photos, statistics, and stories, provides a central place where people can learn about your efforts in detail.

2. Engage your employees as ambassadors.

Encourage employees to share their experiences and stories about your social impact initiatives. Authentic testimonials from the team add depth and show that your mission resonates internally as well.

3. Produce an impact video.

Videos are powerful for creating emotional connections. Use short documentaries or testimonial videos to convey the depth and personal impact of your projects.

4. Partner with local influencers or community leaders.

Engaging local voices who are involved or have witnessed the impact of your work can amplify the authenticity of your message. These community perspectives build credibility and local connection.

5. Incorporate stories into your annual reports.

Instead of a purely financial report, include a section that highlights your social impact. This way, investors and stakeholders see that social good is an integral part of your operations.

6. Consider a B Corp certification.

If you’re serious about impact, consider a certification that will help you measure your impact and remain accountable for high standards. Learn about Red Orange’s B Corp Journey here.

7. Share your social impact stories on social media.

Publish content on LinkedIn or other social media channels that provide examples of your social impact initiatives.

8. Host community panel discussions or events.

Bring your social impact efforts to life by hosting public events or panel discussions that align with your mission. This can foster real-time engagement and dialogue, showcasing your company as a leader in addressing important issues.

9. Publish an impact report.

Why stop with an annual report when you can publish a print or digital report that focuses on your company’s social impact?

10. Engage your customers!

Include a social impact message in regular touchpoints and make it part of your customer journey.

How Red Orange Helps Clients Tell Their Social Impact Stories

Our team has had the privilege of working with inspirational clients like Hilldrup, Sentara, and Virginia Community Capital, supporting their missions with creative marketing, branding and web design. It’s an honor to partner with for-profit and nonprofit organizations to help them share their stories, engage their audiences, and celebrate their achievements. Here are just a few examples of the work we’ve done to help tell the story of social impact:

Virginia Community Capital

Virginia Community Capital has been an essential force in serving the diverse communities of the Commonwealth for half a century. To commemorate this milestone, Red Orange Studio embarked on a collaborative journey with this impact investment organization to create a vibrant and engaging campaign. Our team conducted insightful interviews with key community members and bank stakeholders, capturing their inspiring stories through compelling videos and written stories. We also designed a thoughtful microsite that acted as a central hub for showcasing these stories, allowing visitors to explore and connect with the impact Virginia Community Capital has made over the years. Through our partnership, we helped Virginia Community Capital celebrate their legacy and engage with their audience in a meaningful way.

reimaginetogether.org

Sentara Cares

Red Orange Studio had the honor of collaborating with the Sentara Health team to launch their Sentara Cares community impact report in both digital and print formats. Our team crafted a distinctive word mark and style that captured the essence of the Sentara Cares mission, reflecting their dedication to compassionate healthcare and community support. Additionally, we designed a microsite that showcased the comprehensive report, providing an immersive and interactive experience for readers. To bring their stories to life, we produced videos and incorporated custom photography, capturing the genuine moments of care and compassion that Sentara Cares exemplifies. Through our collective efforts, we helped Sentara amplify their message, engaging their audience and inspiring others to join their cause.

sentaracares.com

Hilldrup

Hilldrup, a established moving, storage and logistics company, is a mission-driven organization with strong values and a commitment to family and community. Their company’s success is measured by more than their bottom line. Having a team that believes they can and should have impact beyond their walls — and trucks — means a greater chance of making a difference. Over the years they built up their Corporate Social Responsibility program, but they looked to Red Orange for help in bringing the story together in a way that inspired clients, excited team members, and truly set them apart from others in the industry space. Our team worked with Hilldrup to develop a theme for their first impact report, pulling together all the proof points and stories to bring the report to life. We then designed a beautiful print piece with an accompanying landing page that is equal parts informing and engaging. Through our partnership, Hilldrup can more clearly see opportunities to make new moves for positive impact in the future.

Our partnerships with Hilldrup, Sentara Cares, and Virginia Community Capital have allowed us to leverage our expertise to showcase their achievements, engage their audiences, and inspire positive change. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with community-driven partners.

If you’re interested in learning more about our work or how we can assist your organization in telling the story of your impact, please contact us. Together, let’s make a difference and transform communities for the better.

As your company approaches a significant anniversary, it’s more than just a milestone— it’s a chance to tell your brand story, strengthen relationships with clients, and engage your team in a meaningful way. A well-executed anniversary celebration can also be a powerful marketing tool. Here are some creative ideas to make your milestone anniversary memorable and impactful.

1. Mark your Company Anniversary with a Brand Refresh

A milestone anniversary provides a valuable opportunity to assess your brand and ensure it continues to align with your company’s vision, mission, and values. This doesn’t necessarily mean a full rebrand, but it might be the perfect time to refresh certain elements, such as creating a special anniversary logo or making subtle updates that highlight your growth. If a brand refresh is needed, use the occasion to tell the story of your brand’s evolution and future direction, reinforcing your commitment to progress and innovation.

Our brand strategists worked with the Ukrop’s Threads marketing team to launch a new name – Threads Uniform Agency – craft a brand strategy to commemorate 25 years in business, create a fresh new visual identity, and develop a strategic communication plan to roll out the new brand.

2. Highlight Your Journey with a Digital Retrospective

Create a compelling digital story that takes your audience through the journey of your company — from its humble beginnings to its present-day success. Use an interactive timeline on your website, incorporating old photos, videos, key milestones, and testimonials from clients and employees. Complement this with a social media campaign featuring nostalgic throwbacks and behind-the-scenes content. This not only highlights your company growth, but also showcases the relationships and progress that have shaped your business.

Our marketing team worked with the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival to curate their story and share it with their community via a dedicated landing page, a coffee table book, anniversary branding and customized graphics.

3. Host an Industry Roundtable or Thought Leadership Summit

Instead of a traditional celebration, position your company as a thought leader by hosting an exclusive roundtable discussion or a summit with key industry players, clients, and partners. Focus on relevant topics, trends, and challenges that your industry is currently facing. This event can be virtual, hybrid, or in-person and could include panel discussions, keynote speakers, and networking opportunities. It’s a chance to offer value to your clients while highlighting your company’s role in shaping industry conversations.

Virginia Community Capital created a series of videos highlighting the work they’ve been a part of in their community and shared it via a branded anniversary microsite.

4. Launch a Limited-Edition Product or Service

A company anniversary is a great opportunity to launch a limited-edition product or service that ties into your company’s history or celebrates its future. Consider collaborating with another brand or company within your market space for added reach and credibility.

5. Celebrate your Company Anniversary with a Client Appreciation Program

Show appreciation for your clients who have been part of your journey, by hosting an in-person or virtual client appreciation event. Create a special loyalty program or anniversary-themed perks. This could include exclusive access to new products, services, discounts, or invitations to special events. Wasserhund’s Top Dog loyalty program rewards subscribers for completing challenges and provides incentives for member birthdays.

Additionally, consider highlighting long-term clients on your website and social media channels with success stories or testimonials that showcase your partnership.

6. Implement a CSR Initiative to Give Back

Make your anniversary celebration a reflection of your company’s values by launching a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Red Orange Studio designed and developed the Sentara Cares website. Sentara Cares is Sentara Health’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, focused on enhancing the health and well-being of communities it serves.

Your organization could implement a CSR program in the form of a donation drive, a partnership with a nonprofit, or a community service project that aligns with your company’s mission and values. Engaging your clients, partners, and employees in this effort can foster goodwill and reinforce your brand’s commitment to making a positive impact.

7. Produce a High-Quality Commemorative Publication or Video

Consider producing a high-quality, commemorative publication or video that celebrates your company’s history and vision. This could be in the form of a printed magazine, a coffee table book, or a digital publication. Include interviews with key clients, partners, and employees, along with in-depth stories about your company’s most significant moments. This publication can be distributed to key stakeholders, clients, and employees as a memorable keepsake. Armada Hoffler’s 40th anniversary video allowed team members to share in the celebration and tell the story of the company culture.

Anniversaries are not just dates on a calendar; they are opportunities to strengthen relationships, share your brand story, and celebrate your company’s journey. By strategically planning your anniversary celebration, you can create a memorable experience that resonates with your clients, partners, and employees, setting the stage for continued growth and success.
