Jeg syntes det er vanskelig å finne en god oppskrift på herresokker, har derfor laget min egen!

Du trenger:

Fjell Sokkegarn 3 fra Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk

Schachenmayr Regia Forsterkningsgarn

Strømpepinner: 3,5 mm

Saks og skarp nål til festing av tråder.

Skaft:

Legg opp på 2 pinner 56 masker. Doble pinner brukes for at øverste kant ikke skal bli for stram. Fordel maskene på 4 pinner; 14 masker på hver pinne.

Opplegg med 2 pinner

Strikk 2 rette og 2 vrange 16 cm eller til ønsket lengde på skaftet.

Hælfelling:

Hælen går over de 30 første maskene. Det skal være 2 rette i starten og slutten av disse maskene, slik at ribbestrikken oppå foten blir midtstillt.

Strikk rettstrikk 8 cm over disse 30 maskene.

Begynn så fellingen. Strikk til det er 10 masker igjen på pinnen. Strikk 2 rette sammen. Snu. Legg til forsterknigsgarnet. Ta en maske av uten å strikker den. Stram garnet.

Strikk til 9 masker. Strikk 2 masker rett sammen. Dette er en maske før og en maske etter forrige felling. Snu. Ta en maske av uten å strikker den. Stram garnet.

Forsett slik til alle maskene er strikket. Avslutt forsterkningsgarnet. Fordel maskene på to pinner. Ta opp 14 masker på hver side av hælen.

Strikke en omgang, strikk de opp-plukkede maskene vridd rett og strikk rillestrikk oppå foten.

Fortsett å strikke rillemønster oppå foten. Fordel maksene på rillestrikk likt på de to pinnene; 13 masker på hver pinne.

Omgangen begynner under foten. I neste omgang felles en maske i hver side som følger:

Pinne 1:

Strikk til det er 2 masker igjen på pinnen, strikk 2 rette sammen. Strikk de 2 neste pinnene i ribbestrikk. Siste pinne starter med å ta en maske løs av, strikk 1 maske, deretter ta den løse masken over den strikkede masken. Strikk rett ut pinnen.

Pinne 2:

Strikk rett første pinne. Strikk 2 pinner ribbestrikk, Strikk 1 pinne rett.

Forsett slik til du ha 60 masker igjen; det blir 3 fellinger.

Foresett med rettestrikk under foten og rillestrikk oppå foten til du har ønsket lengde. Fotlengde måles fra siden på hælen. Tåfellingen er 5 cm.

Tåfelling:

Fordel maskene likt på alle fire pinner med rillemønster sentrert på pinne 2 og 3. Strikk alle masker rett.

1 og 3 pinne: Strikke til det er igjen 3 m på pinnen. Strikk 2 rett sammen, 1 rett.

2 og 4 pinne: Strikk 1 m rett, strikk 2 vridd rett sammen, strikk rett ut pinnen.

Trikk så en omgang uten felllinger. Gjenta 3 ganger. Deretter feles hver omgang til det 8 m igjen. Klipp tråden og tre den gjennom maskene.

Fest tråder.

Tips fargebytte:

Om du bytter farge underveis som er noe forskjellige, strikk da 1 runde bare rett i rillestrikken. Det blir da en penere overgang.

I made three of these, cute Christmas projects, UFO for a few years. Fabric is all from stash. If I should make this again I would downsize the blocks, and mix in some other blocks too.

Isleburgh Toories

Had a wonderful summer vacation week in Shetland. They have an annual toorie(hat) pattern published; this year the Isleburgh Toorie. They has a knit-along group on Facebook as well. In the first hat, I did not like how the k3tog was bulky. Got advice that when I knit 3 together, knit in the back on the 3rd stitch. Together with a tug in the stitches and a press, the hat is less bulky in the decrease.

I made 2 of them, since the first one was a little small for my big head and all my hair.

Pattern:"Tiril Topp" by IdaVictoria. I used the arms a size bigger than the rest of the top, since my previous top got very tight in the arms. We are all different!

When at the cabin, I have smaller projects to work on. My latest finsih is this pair of socks, and adaption of the pattern "Troll" socks. Yarn is Raggi from Jarbo Garn.

My mom knitted this set with at and neck, not bad for an very old lady! I helped starting and finishing the project. Yarn is Vera from Gjestal Garn, pattern in magazine "Hjemmet" Week1/2024.

This is another Fishermans Kep, added more color to the brim, and did the back side of the brim in a very soft yarn, so it wont itch. These long keps has button on the inside where the tassel is fastened, to give it some weight.

Left kep is Katies Kep.

Finished an UFO for a new mom.

Square Scrap Quilt Free Pattern

Square Size: 2,5 inch

Sew 24 squares together, 4 times 6 rows,

Background Strip Size: 12,5 x 2,5 inch

Add background strips on each long side of the block.

Finished Block Size: 12,5 x 12,5 inch

Layout of blocks is in alternate directions. Piece together in rows for desired quilt top size.

Layer quilt top, batting and background fabric, quilt and finish with a binding. I included som scrap squares in the binding too.

My quilt is 7 times 5 blocks, finished size is approximately 90 times 66 inches.
