Earning Potential

I tested Kontera on a site that gets $0.10 CPC from Adsense, and Kontera gave $0.05 CPC - not bad. The CTR fluctuated between 5% and 8% - pretty good. The CPM was $3-4, which is lower than Adsense for the site being trialed but Kontera can be used alongside Adsense meaning you can earn from both at once. Following is the earnings report of the above mentioned site.

Other Features

Kontera offer a keyword report so that you can see which keywords on your site get the most clicks, so that you can focus more on those keywords to maximize Kontera revenue. Following is what one looks like.

Adversal Earnings

The amount of money a website will earn depends primarily on the amount of traffic it gets, since Adversal pays on a CPM basis. CPM means that they pay a specific amount for every 1000 visitors you show their ads to, Adversal varies their CPM depending on the location of your visitors. Following is their CPM rates per country-

The CPM rates can vary even further depending on several factors about your site including: website content (topic), volume of traffic, location (country) of visitors, and quality of traffic. The rates they have assigned to my anime related website are: $1.10 for US visitors, $0.85 for UK visitors, $0.81 for CA visitors, $0.47 for FR, DE, IT visitors, and $0.22 for visitors from other countries. The rate you would receive would be higher or lower than the rates given to me, but I think the minimum rate is $0.85 CPM for US visitors.

To help you to estimate what your site would earn with Adversal there is a 10-day earnings report included below. Notice that the total impressions is ~150,000, for the same period Google Analytics reported ~200,000 page views to the pages including the ads. So Adversal fails to monetize roughly 25% of page-views which is likely due to visitors who have javascript disabled or are behind an anonymous proxy which Adversal classes as false impressions.

Adversal also provides daily reporting of impressions and earnings for more accurate tracking. The two reports are sadly on different pages, so must be looked at separately. Following is an example of each -

Adversal pays on the 15th of the month by either Paypal or check, with a minimum payout of $20.

Best Suited Websites

Since US traffic earns the most from Adversal, the higher your US traffic the better, although if you have very little US traffic you can still earn decently.

Not high. After a test of 20,000 ad impressions $0.09 CPM, in comparison Adsense earns $0.25 CPM for that site and Zango earns $0.50 CPM. With such a low CPM I recommend CPX Interactive as a last resort. Following is the earnings report from the above test.

You install their PHP code and then they sell up to 10 links on your site, the price depending on PageRank and Alexa rank and possibly other things.

Earning Potential

I installed Text Link Ads’ code on a site with a PageRank of 4 and an Alexa rank of 20,000, the price per link per month is $45 and it took 2 weeks to see the first link sale. An extra $1.50 per day per link sold is pretty good, but selling the maximum of 10 links would be pretty hard. Text Link Ads can earn along-side any other program of your choice such as Adsense, Zango, or Adbrite.

If all 10 Text Link Ads were sold, this website would earn an extra $450 per month on top of its other revenue sources. There is certainly a lot of potential in Text Link Ads but to reach its full potential may be hard.

Payment Methods

Payments are sent on the 1st of the month. The payment methods include: Check, PayPal, Payoneer or TLA Voucher (which also receives a 15% bonus). There is no minimum payout for PayPal and a $25 minimum for the other payment methods.

Best Suited Websites

The higher your PageRank and Alexa rank, the higher the price is for each link on your site. Well established websites with quality backlinks earn the most from Text Link Ads. This does not rule out lower PageRank and Alexa rank sites though, since selling Text Link Ads is an additional revenue stream for your website it can be run along-side any other program.

Special Notes

Google discourages the selling of links, so by using Text Link Ads you are risking a PageRank penalty and possibly a search engine ranking penalty. Text Link Ads lets you moderate the links which are displayed on your site, and if you allow only relevant links you can minimize the risk of a penalty.

CPALead offer a premium content gateway where visitors are asked to fill out one of three surveys to unlock your premium content. If the visitor does fill out a survey you will usually earn between $0.20 and $2.00, but sometimes more or less. Following is a CPALead premium content gateway and a survey example.

Earning Potential

With payout rates commonly being $0.20 to $2.00 the potential of CPALead is very high, as a comparison, ZangoCash’s payout rates are $0.10 to $0.75.

Sadly, CPALead has one significant disadvantage, when CPALead is used along-side Adsense the Adsense will earn near nothing, whereas ZangoCash offer a non-forced gateway so Adsense still earns as usual. When considering the higher payouts but reduced Adsense earnings, CPALead and ZangoCash earn similarly.

CPALead has one significant advantage over ZangoCash; if your website has a lot of return visitors CPALead will work best for you since visitors can complete multiple surveys, but visitors can only install ZangoCash once. So if you have a lot of return visitors your earnings from ZangoCash will decrease over time but when using CPALead they will not.

Many people report CPALead earning 5x to 10x more than ZangoCash, so it must be very effective for certain types of websites and traffic sources.

CPALead Report

Following is the report of a half-day test on a website with low quality traffic (Google image-search traffic). The report doesn’t list impressions, but it would have been roughly 5000 impressions. With 5000 impressions, 1500 clicks, and 11 conversions that is a conversion rate of 0.219%. 0.219% is a low conversion rate considering the same site gets a 1% conversion rate with ZangoCash, but luckily the payout rates are high.

Payment Methods

CPALead offer two payment methods: Check by Mail, and PayPal. Some people have been payed through wire transfer but that is not available in my admin panel, so I assume you need to contact your personal manager for that to be available. There is a $50 minimum for payment which is payed on a net-30 basis.

Best Suited Websites

According to CPALead themselves, the most suited websites are: MMORPG, Virtual Worlds, Social Networks, Get Paid To (GPT) Websites, and USA Compliant Poker Websites. Simply any website where visitors will fill out a survey in exchange for bonus or premium content.

Special Notes

CPALead force all publishers to sign a no-spam compliance agreement and sign and fill out a W-8BEN or W-9 form. It is a hastle but if CPALead earns well on your website is is worth the effort.
