money DOES buy happiness

To my valentine, Tory Burch

2011-02-14T06:00:00.002-05:00

So obsessed with this bag. I really need to kick the obsessions I seem to be gripped with lately, but I don't know how.

Sigh.

BY THE WAY, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY. NOT.

Need. Nuff said.

The word "need" no longer looks real.

Just say NO to jeggings!!!

2011-02-08T06:00:00.003-05:00

I am just flabbergasted, I need these jeans! I love the rinse, I love the style, I love the high-waistedness of them, I don't love the price, I love the brand, but I don't love that my size is sold out!!

M is for Monday and Marc Jacobs

2011-02-07T19:22:00.003-05:00

Once upon a time I watched the movie "Valentine's Day", saw Jennifer Garner's character don this handbag throughout the movie, and instantly fell in love. And even though this perfect, precious lovebug of a bag is the quintessential chunky tote, it is far from affordable. Unfortunately, this type of love that I am in with the Marc by Marc Jacobs bag is unrequited. Sigh.

Maybe someday.

Now listen, people. We're getting into that really depressing part of winter where it's difficult, if not impossible, to see the light at the end of the frosty tunnel. That's why it's time to buy yourself a cheerful little something that says, Hey, cheer up, Charlie. I love you. Cheers to the end of winter coming soon!

Happy weekend. I love you all. Sorry for the weird picture-spacing on this post. I'm out of time and there's nothing I can do.

2011-02-03T06:00:00.002-05:00

For some reason I am suspiciously obsessed with this bag. I'm convinced I need it. Obviously I would take that weird keychain-detail thing off. Is the pink too much? Perhaps to throw off the girliness of it, I would carefully dress in all black with gold accents - classy, of course!

Jeanius

2011-02-02T06:00:00.001-05:00

Lipstick has come back, pretties, so jump on the bandwagon before you get left in the dust. Still a bit hesitant? So was I. Start with something light and simple - purely loving Lipstick Queen's "Jean Queen", designed to play off denim hues to light up your beautiful face. It really is genius - er, "jeanius". Who knew?

Elie Saab: spring 2011

2011-02-01T06:00:00.001-05:00

I have fallen madly in love with Elie Saab's spring collection. It is truly inspiring and absolutely breathtaking. I had to really narrow down my choices so I wouldn't post half the collection! Beautiful, wearable fashion that any woman would feel like a goddess in.

Hello, peppers.

So I don't know if I'm the only one who didn't know this, BUT the dress from the Kate Spade "Twirl" ad ACTUALLY. EXISTS.

AND IT'S ON SALE.

UM.

Whip out the credit cards, baby! Cuz this one's gonna cost you. But isn't it worth it? MMHM!

My brain is about to pop from trying to talk myself out of this one.

oh hello!

2011-01-09T06:00:00.003-05:00

Still on the clutch kick, and so in love with this little ditty from EmersonMade. But it's out of stock! Of course!!

ooh

2010-12-29T17:24:00.002-05:00

What a fabulous print.

2010-12-28T06:00:00.001-05:00

I don't know if I can live without this coat. I have been scanning the hillsides for the perfect trench! - I've climbed every mountain, forded every stream, followed every rainbow, and have finally found my dream (trench).

books books books

2010-12-27T06:00:00.001-05:00

Oops, I took a long-ish vacation and forgot to tell you.

But I just stumbled across this new-ish book from Elizabeth Gilbert and am so excited to pick up a copy! "Eat, Pray, Love" was so-so, but I enjoyed "Stern Men" and feel as though this new book was written for people just like myself, so I might just have to take a trip to the library, seeing as how I am too broke to go buy it. But regardless, I will read it!

Isn't that sad?

rocky times

2010-12-21T06:00:00.001-05:00

Omg. So in love.

Couldn't find that Cole Haan clutch in the right color, so uh, yeah. No go. I really should just take a picture of it myself and post it but good lord that would be far too much work, and what am I made of, time?

Well, actually, seeing as how I do ah, nothing at work, I could. Nah.

Anyway, loving these sparkly drops. How unique, right! Conversation piece!

P.S. Margaret Elizabeth is my new top pick for jewelry. So beautiful.

what a snake.

2010-12-20T06:00:00.001-05:00

You know what? Somehow it's already Monday. I don't know about you, but I'm not quite sure where my weekend went. It zoomed off to the weekend afterlife without telling me. Oh well. Anyway, somehow, on the MIA weekend, I jumped on the snake bandwagon.

So in other words I've become obsessed with snake-print, snake design, snake whatever. Just not real snakeskin.

Um, ew.

Anyhow, crazy about these earrings, and equally crazy about a fabulous citron snakeskin envelope clutch I discovered in Cole Haan this weekend. Totally going to try and find it online to show you guys. Ugh. Love.

Citron is coming back, by the way. I just decided. Tell your friends.

P.S. Christmas in ... 5 days? Right? Holy moly.

I usually try to keep the Worthy Weekly Indulgences relatively affordable, so I know this one's pushin' it, but it's such a steal!!!! I have been lusting - positively lusting - after this belt for far too long, and it's out.of.stock.

I will happily part with $58 of my hard-earned dollars (let's not mention how many hours it would take me to work to earn them!!) if EmersonMade kindly got this belt back in stock!!!

Please and thanks!! Ohmygod.

eeeeek!!

2010-12-16T06:00:00.002-05:00

WOWMYGOD. I NEED THIS.

koukla mou

2010-12-15T06:00:00.000-05:00

Really loving these gorgeous earrings from Koukla Mou. My mother has a pair of the gold ones and I desperately want to snatch them!! Right out of her ears!!

hehehe

2010-12-14T06:00:00.002-05:00

If you're still looking for that perfect holiday-party dress, then look no further. These favorites of mine immediately reminded me of a few favorite movies...sort of...whatever let's just go with it.

Channeling the baroness from "The Sound of Music"? Yep. Check.

Wishing for that sequined look like Alicia-bitch-longlegs from "Confessions of a Shopaholic"? Find yourselves some gloves, too! And a nice chunky hardware belt. Ugh, love.

it's only monday??

2010-12-13T06:00:00.001-05:00

Given that it's Monday and I've just downed an entire cup of coffee without even realizing I was drinking it, I think it's time to set my sights on something else. I'm feeling somewhere WARM, perhaps??? And this boppy little bag reminds me of pirating the waters, basking in bright susnhine and fighting off parrots.

God, the weekend can't come fast enough. No screw that, summer can't come fast enough.

As always, Snoozer Loser NY has the best scarves.

Head over heels for this GORGEOUS navy and gold scissor scarf. LOVE.

dainty

2010-12-09T06:00:00.001-05:00

You all know about me and simplicity. So it really should come as no surprise that I've fallen for this beautiful, dainty necklace. I would wear it all day, every day! It would become a part of my aura.

florical

2010-12-08T06:00:00.001-05:00

Love this print. It's been awhile since I've posted anything nautical...oh the shame!!

2010-12-07T06:00:00.002-05:00

Decisions, decisions. I do love a good gold sparkle on my nails. Thank you, Rescue Beauty, for titling a polish after my life motto: "Look Rich, Be Cheap". How true.

god I love shoes.

2010-12-06T06:00:00.001-05:00

I am so obsessed with these 7 For All Mankind shoes. I can't stop thinking about them...I even had a dream about them last night. Is this a sign I should buy them?
