Now, I'm not saying that it is hard or overwhelming by any means.  What I am really trying to point out is… some humans are not excited about some parts of business and because of this they'll never end up taking any REAL ACTION or they'll stop because of those areas of discomfort.

So you are a passionate traveler and you have an adventurous spirit. Have you ever thought about being a travel writer or about writing the story of your escapades in different places? You’d be surprised by the money you can make.

It is very easy to write about something you thoroughly enjoy. Its easy to write about your travels, just describe what you see. The majesty of nature, your feelings of amazement, and the beauty of the world!

One tip I can give aspiring travel writers is to learn how to write concisely No matter what your intended market is, you must be skilled in the art of short an informative writing.

Most likely, just writing off the top of your head and then rereading and editing your post will surely result in a literary product that is interesting and engaging. With your great passion, the readers may feel they are right there with you.

So, how can you make money out of it, you ask. Here’s how.

1. Become a Travel Writer On Your Own Blog

Build a website or use a free blog site to begin with. The content of your site will be, of course, about your travels and adventures. Lots of people find travel adventures very appealing and some even use it as an escape from their day to day lives.

If your content is great, using a few optimizations, link building sites, and SEO tricks, you will rank high in the search engine ranking and gain audience members. People will flock to your site and some may become regular readers if you update often enough with interesting posts.

You can gain money from this through advertisements placed in your site. Advertisement systems such as Adsense from Google, Chitika, and others are a great way to get pre made ads for your blog. Or you can be an affiliate marketer for products and services relevant to your content. All of this creates passive streams of income.

2. Write About Your Travels On Other People’s Blogs

If you don’t want the complexities of building your own site, you can write for other people’s site.

Some people are just too busy or too lazy to put articles on their sites so they will happily pay other people, like you, to create articles for them. Short articles, ranging from 450 to 700 words, are sufficient. If they like you enough, they will regularly ask you to make create more content.

3. Sell Your Travel Writing Stories To Magazines and Newspapers

Newspaper work is quite risky because payment is not assured, that being said, it is a good way to earn extra money.

Have a list of magazines, newspapers, or any other kind of reading material that may need content for their publication Your articles don’t have to just be about traveling they can be about anything you want. Contact them and propose a deal that you will provide articles and stories for a nominal fee.

Of course, these publishing outfits will need some samples or something to substantiate your competence. You can give them samples and if they like it enough, they may just make you an offer you can’t refuse.

Do you want to travel and get paid by marketing and selling products or services?

A salesperson is someone with the aptitude to persuade and lead people to buy a product or service. They are a valued part of a business entity because they generate sales and awareness of particular merchandise.

The market has become global, reaching to places never been deemed possible before. Communication and transportation technology had advanced greatly to make businesses embark on a far-reaching scale. Marketing and selling to different locations is not only a sound investment; it is also an opportunity to expanded a company.

Salespersons are representatives of such companies. Companies rely on them to spread awareness and increase product profitability. Travel salespersons are outgoing, results-oriented individuals that just what every thriving company needs in their campaign. You can be the person who can take advantage of this opportunity. Find this kind of jobs and enjoy traveling different places for free while getting paid for your sales efforts.

Let these set of rules be your guide in getting hired to travel as a salesperson:

Acknowledge your career goals and desires

To have a fulfilling career, you must determine your goals first. Do not jump on every job opportunity that comes along without realizing what you want and what you can do. Be sure that you are up to the task and willing to do what is expected. .

Do your homework and research. Make this as basis for your approach.

Find companies that offer travel sales positions. Once you find an interesting company to apply for, research its profile and determine its goals and objectives. Know what it aims to accomplish for the short and long terms. It is also beneficial to know the roots of the company. You should research extensively. Up to the point of knowing who makes the decisions about the goals and objectives. Also, find out the names of the executives and their backgrounds.

Knowing these things will help you plan your approach. Knowing their recruitment preferences will benefit you greatly. You should know that some companies prefer to recruit through a particular agency and some hire right off of the street.

Use your knowledge about the company’s goals and objectives in your application papers. Tailor your resumes based on it. Make your cover letters compelling by stressing what you can do for them to realize their organizational ambitions.

Be Persistent

Often, you will not get an immediate response from prospective employers. If you get no response within three days, telephone the person you wrote to. You can email or even follow up with snail mail if you have to. Doing this gives an impression that you are determined and passionate about the job.

If you are referred to an agency, focus your campaign on them. Address the company if you fail to make progress with the agency. You may not get anywhere but theres always a chance you’ll get to interview for the position. Either way it gives you something to work on in the future.

This is one of the great ways to travel the world without draining your bank accounts. Backpacking has never been practical, but it can be done for little to no expense because a lot of people are willing to give temporary jobs for travelers in exchange for free food and accommodation.

Another way is to use the Internet and do freelance online related jobs and earn money electronically. It may seem impossible to some but the possibilities are almost endless due to the advancements of technology in communications and travel.

The traditional approach of earning money on the trail is finding jobs in hostels. You can also find job listings where work is offered at farms and ranches. Common backpacking destinations, places like in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia, have plenty of temporary job offers. Travelers can take advantage of these if they want to save while traveling.

The Internet now has job listings in every location. It is better to bring an Internet-ready device, such as a laptop, smart phone, and other gadgets when taking trips because you can browse for information and find temporary work.

Work is usually menial, every day chores on farms, ranches, and even ordinary homes. Some websites may even offer jobs at small businesses as janitors, bartenders, or waiters. The offers vary from the very basic to highly specialized. It is better if you have special skills, like in technology, performing arts, entertainment, and crafts. In your travels, you’ll never know when and where you can use it to your advantage.

With the aide of Internet, you can also find clients for your special skills. Freelancing is easy and lucrative work. If you have special abilities in writing, website optimization, or just any kind of technological skill, you can offer your services online. Plenty of websites have great systems in finding clients and service providers. Get listed in sites like Odesk, Elance, and CraigsList.

You can go anywhere and let the world be your office. If you need an Internet connection, you can just go to areas that have connectivity. Payment is usually done instantly by electronic means; it couldn’t be more convenient. Once an assignment is over, you can just find another one, or you can even have multiple assignments as long as you can manage.

Temporary jobs and freelance work are good ways to earn a fast buck when in foreign countries. Sure it may take a little of your vacation time but with the proper mindset and attitude, you can make any task a fun experience. It will not impede your enjoyment and exploration; but rather help further it.

Some people own websites and earn income passively from it. Money is generated through rented ad space, affiliate marketing, products selling or all three. However, this takes a bit more learning time and effort. As a resourceful traveler, you can juggle the given techniques and soon you will realize that traveling will not blow away all your money. In fact, you can earn lots from it.
