As a scuba diving instructor, you can teach others how to scuba dive, or you can simply teach others how to use the equipment correctly. This job is nice because you can be in Hawaii or the Philippines or Tanzania… or anywhere there's water… all day long, and you can possibly take on other jobs in the area if you'd like. Of course, you'll mainly be living in the location of your choosing! If you're able to take on the job, why not take advantage of the opportunity.

If you want to earn big money, you can actually get into a piloting school today and start flying extremely soon. Imagine being able to fly to other parts of the world and enjoying your time when you land in other countries and states. If you'd like to see the world atop everybody else while earning a fortune, being a pilot is a great job.

•Travel with Disney On Ice

Are you a figure skater who has succeeded a lot in the sport? If you have the gift of ice skating under your belt, you can actually tour with Disney On Ice for many years and skate around the world. However, there's a few percentage of you out there reading this and are actually figure skaters. Luckily, you can even travel with them by simply becoming a vendor selling the shows souvenir items, a crew member, lighting assistant, and an assistant for almost anything that goes on during the show.

•Journalist or Travel Writer

As a travel writer, you'll be given the right to create a review of the destination that you visited. You will then need to write down everything that you experienced, how it all went, and what you mainly enjoyed. You'll definitely earn hundreds to thousands of dollars for going overseas and providing the newspaper with a newsworthy story. If you want, you can even write ebooks, guide books, and brochures for other businesses in other countries.

•English Teacher

Being an English teacher is a great job because you already possess the gift already. All you need to do now is find a place that can allow you to use your natural gift and teach others the language in other countries. Joining an ESL could be a great place to get the perfect English teaching job.

These are the top 5 travel jobs available now that you can do today. Many people are so used to the common jobs out there, but the possibilities are endless. Travel jobs are nice because you're literally getting paid to travel.

Travel jobs are always the subject of many employees' fantasies. Some of them have very good compensation attached to them. They require employees to travel. They provide people with a sense of adventure. What else could you ask for?

To be fair, not all travel jobs are made equal. You will find that some jobs require employees to travel only for short periods of time, removing any chance to tour around and making it similar to your regular desk job, whose only difference is the background setting. Some other travel jobs do not pay as much as what is typically desired either.

So what we have here is the list of what we perceive to be the best travel jobs. Now don't just quit your current post just yet! Try to read through these job descriptions and see if they are fit for you. They command respectable salaries while at the same time having some air of adventure and romanticism to them.

1. Curator – curators manage the day-to-day operations of cultural institutions such as zoos and museums. These managers are required to go out there from time-to-time in order to gather and study artifacts or attend conventions and make speeches in front of other professionals in the art community. Imagine rushing to some offsite area because of some art discoveries. Sounds exciting?

2. Archaeologist - In contrast to the roles of curators, the role of an archaeologist is hardly sophisticated. There's a lot of work involving dirt, digging, and endless brushing of excavation areas. When an excavation is done, so much time is also spent in the lab making reports. Think you can do an Indiana Jones?

3. International Correspondent/Travel Writer - They have strikingly different roles, but they both require extensive traveling. Both roles require a background in journalism, but international correspondents are more often assigned to places where there are breaking news, often in dangerous areas. In contrast, travel writers get all the safety by reviewing restaurants and hotels instead.

4. English Teacher – As English becomes an increasingly important language in world trade, native speakers of the language become even more in-demand abroad. Teachers are particularly wanted in countries in Latin America and China, where increased business exposure to the global markets make it imperative for them to speak English fluently.

5. Foreign Service Officer - Brush shoulders with the highest people in other lands, negotiate, and perpetuate the subtle art and science of international diplomacy. You will have to master a major language other than English to make any headway in this kind of career.

6. Humanitarian Aid Provider - Practitioners of this job may not get that much in terms of financial rewards, but the feeling of being able to help people who are in need is unmatched. If you have a big heart and able hands, then among various travel jobs, this one is for you.

7. Spy - Need we say more?

•Choose something you love

Never ever get a travel job that you know isn't going to be fun on your part. When you do something that you love, you can be sure that it'll be worth doing. Others become travel writers, performers, teachers, pilots, and spies in different countries. There are all types of things that you can do to get paid to travel. The basic truth is that you should travel and do something that you enjoy. By getting a fun job, you can be sure to have fun and take in all the experience when you travel.

•Search for the job If you can, try looking for the job that you specifically want.

For example, if you want to be a travel writer, look through sites like Craigslist, newspapers, or magazines to find a way to get a travel writing job. If you want to teach and be an English teacher in other countries, then look for jobs from the ESL. If you want to become a pilot, then you should go to a pilot school and get your training to qualify for a pilot job. Choose what you love, and then look for a job that offers that opportunity to be done. It's all about finding the opportunity and showing the employers what you can offer.

•Use classified ads Classified ads like Craigslist and the ones on the newspapers are great to go through.

The reason to this is because employers are always looking for new people to rise up to the occasion, and these classified ads can provide for them the chance to find new employees. Many employers want to catch a new employee who offers something different. If you can be different and show the employers your gift, you can succeed a lot with the company. Be sure to constantly look through the classified ads, as you just may miss the opportunity. Don't forget to also go through job boards online as well.

Getting started really isn't all that difficult, as there are so many different opportunities out there. It does take time to actually find a real travel job that's really worth the money, but once you find the perfect job, you are surely going to enjoy the money involved with traveling. There are an infinite amount of different travel jobs available, and you can be sure that there's a job available for your specific talent.

The best option most people have when it comes to overseas travel jobs, is teaching English in a foreign country. The competition isn't that high, and you do not need too many qualifications. In fact, not long ago, companies were hiring English teachers as long as you spoke English as your first language. However, nowadays, for you to call yourself an English teacher in a foreign country, you need to have some basic qualifications. Being available can also make a difference. Sometimes last minute replacements are needed, and you never know, you may find yourself flying out to a foreign country. You also have the option of providing private tutor lessons to individuals. The amount of money you are likely to receive is decent enough to allow you to get by.

You can also find work with an international organization. Most of these organizations offer short-term contracts to work in a developing country abroad. However, there are some jobs that offer more permanent working conditions, with some contracts lasting up to 3 years. The screening process that is used is quite tough as there are hundreds of applicants who are looking for the same job as you. It is important that you have the right kind of skills if you want to get the job, as there are no chances for people who do not have the right qualifications.

If you're very adventurous, and speak a foreign language, why not try seasonal jobs that are mostly available on farms. You can pick up and odd job here or there and you will have the advantage of being able to communicate with the locals. Seasonal jobs also come in the form of tourism. Whenever a foreign country has an increase in the number of tourists received, you will find that there are increased job openings. You can work at a bar, serve in a cafe or become a DJ at an event if you have the skills.

Do you love boats and the open seas? Why not try working on a cruise ship? This way you can become a part of the cabin crew by signing up for whatever positions they may offer. Aside from just that, you will have the opportunity of scaling well travelled sea routes for free!

Lastly, but not least, you can try out for au pair positions. This will suite you if you enjoy hanging around kids, and know how to houseclean. You can choose to either stay with the family, or live alone and commute to work. Speaking a foreign language can be an advantageous skill.
