Additional concepts that might increase uptake include attributes that increase ease-of-use for male and female condoms, for example better packaging or designs that are easier to properly apply. In addition, attributes that address and overcome cultural barriers are also desired. Proposals must (i) have a testable hypothesis, (ii) include an associated plan for how the idea would be tested or validated, and (iii) yield interpretable and unambiguous data in Phase I, in order to be considered for Phase II funding."

Yep, it's been around for over 400 years and people still have qualms about using it, primarily because of religion, the pleasure factor and lack of education.

Here's some further criteria:

A few examples of work that would be considered for funding:

Application of safe new materials that may preserve or enhance sensation;

Development and testing of new condom shapes/designs that may provide an improved user experience;

Application of knowledge from other fields (e.g. neurobiology, vascular biology) to new strategies for improving condom desirability.

We will not consider funding for:

Exclusively non-technological, social, or educational interventions;
Testing of existing commercially available products;
Proposals without a clearly articulated hypothesis or plan for testing the proposed product’s value in overcoming adherence issues;
Concepts that are inherently too expensive for a developing world setting;
Concepts that would sacrifice the value of condoms for prevention of either unplanned pregnancy or HIV infection.

As I write this, I am drunk. I got $36 or 1,500 Pesos in my wallet and it's 2 days before Christmas. Rock and Roll.

One good thing about this all is that I can still spell.

So, money is overrated right?

But the problem is, we live in an overrated confabulated world where money is actually premium. Yes, premium like gasoline premium.

Everybody plays the same stupid game.

Then people forget about what's really important: Peace, and the ability to live without being judged, hated or ostracized for your beliefs or the way that you live.

That's something we have truly lost.

As I write with a drunken state of mind - I pour another glass of beer.

Yep, I call this the drunken danny writing mode.

Well, we could all use some good news today, what with all the horrible news that's visited us for the last few weeks and months - some people will say that , "the end is near."

Maybe it is.

Maybe despite all these befuddling and astonishing pieces of technology like Google and Facebook and 3D printers - all of this shit is going to hell, maybe the conspiracy theorists and the religious zealots are right - maybe the end is indeed near.

So far so good, I don't think I had any spelling errors on that one.

Neighbors are burning garbage, wife sweeping the floor and I am thankful that I am blessed with her. I know I don't deserve her and I love her with all my heart.

So, yeah, 2 hours ago, I played basketball with my kids. Having 4 daughters and one son, that's kinda odd. But they play good ball - rough sometimes and I've had to send some of them to the injury seat every now and then since they seem to have learned a few moves and have thus proceeded to use them...

Where was I, yeah, the end is near.

I think that all the security issues that we are facing will only lead to the natural outcome - increased state surveillance and control.

Otherwise we'd have a society plagued by constant street uprisings what with all the economic turmoil that's been hounding those countries.

Greece comes into mind.
The US too sometimes. But you know, when I was young, people always referred to the US like it was heaven or something.

Then relatives from abroad would always say negative things about our own country and compare it to the United States. Now, it looks weird. Everything is weird, people say, hey, we're having a bad life here in the US, we don't have money, we're talking about fiscal cliffs and I'm like - what?!

Come on, it couldn't be that bad.

Here, people have to chop off pieces of wood - branches so that they could cook rice and 2 peso fish.

We call em hawot or more popularly as tuyo.

What we do is mix them with vinegar and some pepper and that's already a meal for less than a dollar.

Tuyo, rice, vinegar and pepper.

And yeah, people still refer to themselves as taong gubat though we are increasingly becoming urbanized - life here is more difficult.

I don't know, I don't have a right to judge how others live their lives, but I think really, that life is harder here than in the US.

So how much money do you have? Seems like a stupid title. Seems like a stupid question but hey what the fuck.

I'm pissed off.

We're surprised and shocked to hear of news like that Sandy Hook thing, but we're not surprised at all about what led to such a killing. We've been terrible, terrible human beings.

We suck as a species. We destroy the earth. We destroy nature. We destroy ourselves. We do it for money. The fucking money. And we act surprised?!

Sure it could be mental problems and gun control and what not - to be honest I'm getting sick of all the rhetoric and faux argumentative points.

Life is tough period.

And a lot of people can't bear that pressure. That's the reason things are all fucked up.

Why?! We can't build a utopian like reality. It's impossible. People are just too greedy. Even the poor are greedy.

Now, I work hard not just as a freelance writer, but also as a farmer. And the one thing I've learned about the people I hire to help me is that they don't give a shit.

I give them more than the fucking minimum wage and you know what? They still act like hacienderos - they avoid the sun's heat even as I bear it all. You see I also work along with these people. I do exactly the same work as I order them to do - but they, who have been accustomed to these kind of work are more wary to avoid it.

Everybody wants more for doing less. That's just a fucking fact of life.

So, I was in Google Plus in a new community called "Website Buyers and Sellers" and I asked a question that I've been meaning to ask for quite some time: "How much money does my blog cost?"

But before I tell you the answer to that question, how are you dear reader? If you came from Reddit, high five! If you came from Google Plus, another high five!

In the mighty name of the Internet and of all that is meme worthy and viral - stomps feet - can I get an Amen?!!?!

My Take On This
It's easy to rationalize why we should do this and easier to rationalize why we shouldn't or don't want to. I can understand all the benefits and all the reasons behind this from both a Christian and a neutral position.

But from the very beginning of our lives we have been taught about the need to survive. In the end, everybody is in it for himself.

Those who work hard, eat. Those who don't don't.

There are those who are in really abject poverty, near impossible situations who cannot, will not and don't want to change. They only know that they want a better life.

There are those who've been pushed to desperation to do things that some consider morally reprehensible.

There are those who have been thrown out of their own parents' homes who struggled because of certain Christian beliefs. Some of them, even have had to fight for what is rightfully theirs.

There are those people who have lost their own homes.

There are those who've had to go to other countries to work and provide for their families because this supposedly predominantly Christian nation cannot provide good jobs to its own citizens. The jobs that do go here are jobs brought by other countries in the form of factories by the Japanese and the Call Centers of America.

There are those who have had to steal money not to buy food - but to gamble away their money so that they could have more money.

There are those who have been threatened with death, because they stole things of little value.

There are those who have spent their lives and become poor because they gambled it all away.

There are those who live for the moment without a care about what happens to their family.

There are those who work hard for more than 10 hours a day, so that they could give a better future for their children.

There are those who have died because they couldn't afford proper medical care.

Everybody struggles to survive, so why should we follow a god that asks us to let go of everything that we've worked for - for the benefit of those who did not?

A god who isn't there anymore and just promises to "come back soon"?

A god who is misrepresented by thousands of mortal men with their own failings, their own interpretations and most of all - their own material desires and craving for power?

Is it so bad to enjoy what is rightfully ours and what we've worked hard for?

They ask you to sell all your worldly possessions and let go of the life you once knew.
To do what exactly?
To do as they say?
Even as their leaders amass fortunes beyond our means? - Quite the opposite of what Jesus told them to.

Oh yeah, an exception seems to be coming...

You obey Benny Hinn when he says "Send some money" and out he goes cavorting on his Jet Plane claiming to have a power that is beyond him. Claiming to heal those who are sick. Meanwhile, he has illicit affairs - yet people still blindly defend him for the fraud that he is.

Sometimes I think about this game of words that we play - and just laugh.

Maybe we're just that unlucky a generation. We live in an epoch when the only time that God manifests himself is when smuggled ivory is turned into mystical relics that have divine properties in the form of tears flowing from its undead eyes.

The deranged depravity of the moment and the curiosity of the senses move the hand that controls the mouse to click on an impending link, which brings you to more puzzles and conundrums that you may mistake to be among the mysteries of this hard to attain status.

It's a self perpetuating cycle that is an abnormal aberration that will eventually lead you to a cataclysm of sorts. From there, you'll jump from one hamster wheel to another chasing after the carrot that you have lost in the labyrinth of your own desires.

How to Not Play the Game

Short of disavowal, the only way to transcend is to not play the game that everybody is playing. Walk away from this masquerade and fulfill your passion with a blinding zeal. Maybe the morose nature of my words have dissuaded you, but bear in mind, they are the seeds of truth.

By not playing this game, you would have freed yourself from the cumbersome wheel that so many are running in blindly today. That is the real way to make money online.

...Are often the last few words of many a fool who thought that money has the power to change the very fabric of their lives.

Picture a walk to the nearby convenience store to buy a solitary lottery ticket on a whim.

On a cold and foggy afternoon, with a few dollars in your pocket you head out to take that proverbial leap of faith thinking to yourself that even if you don't win, at least some other lucky schmoe will get all the dough and maybe use it to change the world.

With your numbers at hand, memorized at heart you pay for the ticket and pray to whatever deity you believe in.

Then all of the frustrations in your life come rolling by as you stretch your arms to do whatever it is that you need to do to set your appointment with destiny.

You could almost picture yourself, triumphantly riding that high carriage of pride and wealth where everybody else has to bow as they do in all the TV shows that you have seen.

Money buys happiness, money buys influence, which buys power, which buys more money

You've seen Bill Gates do it with his billions, wouldn't that be a great feeling?

To just give money away like you were some financial messiah or hero and save people's lives or change it for the better.

Such a feeling is a world away from what you are feeling today. At the bottom of the rut, hopeless, listless, deprived and wanting of everything that you see in this world. So with one fell stroke, you kiss the fingers of destiny's hand and hope that it will all change.

It has to change.

Imagine a utopian world where we don't need money for anything. Imagine a utopian world where there is no suffering, no need to work in backbreaking conditions. No pollution. No plastic. No strife, wars and chaos.

The question is, would you still be inspired to do anything?

You eat 3 meals a day, have some snacks, have lots of free sex or get anything you'd like for free.

Sometimes I think that adversity, trials and problems actually motivate us. Because if we're already content, happy and have everything we want, we wouldn't aspire to make things better. We wouldn't do anything that's beyond our needs.

Children would no longer study because they know that they'd still eat 3 meals a day and have everything that they want in the future.

There would be no hungry writers who would craft stories about amazing people, places and things.

There would be no struggling artist who would innovate on whatever materials are at hand.

On the other hand...

People would have all the free time in their hands to do whatever they please or to pursue any conceivable passion they could.

Sometimes, I try to imagine how things are as they are and how they came to be in the olden times. How did we arrive to this status quo? I tend to do this with no recognition of historical facts and place myself in a tribal setting where everything is shared and everything is free for the taking.

In the beginning, the small tribal community thrives and everyone has their fill of whatever they like.

As the community grows, conflicts arise. Things need to be done in the tribe and some just want to lie down and do nothing while still having their fill. Yet a few work despite this all. They strive to create, innovate and improve.

The community grows further and now both the creators and the lazy ones have children of their own. The creators teach their kids the value of creation and innovation. The lazy ones who have children, don't mind them at all. They just say, "take anything you want".

Eventually, power struggles ensue. A system of power is put in place and rules are created. The community grows and they now have a structured leadership headed by the creators. The lazy ones are shunned from the tribe and as more people are in the community discontent arises. The reality of scarcity is felt and the rulers therefore impose rules and a system of trade involving symbolic representations of value - they call this "money".

Without money and with new rules about ownership, the lazy ones struggle in the fringes of the land. They still think that they are entitled to the things they want and need, because their elders - the first lazy ones, told them of how much life was easy back before the system was created. With this, they slowly adapt to some of the ways of the creators. In bitterness, the descendants of the lazy ones learn the art of destruction by watching. They learn how to steal, kill and destroy whatever the descendants of the creators make.

I drifted back to today and ponder on what motivates people. The system established by the creators has been corrupted and intermingled with the lazy ones. There are times when aberrations arise and money becomes the whole point of creation and action. For without money, there would be no time to create and inspire.

And I'm not just talking about stock photography either, I'm talking about the fusion between objects, their representations with content that can be monetized.

You know what website I use when I want to take a look at places I've never been to? Google Maps Street View. I want to get a feel for the ground. I want to see how the ordinary things look like. I want to see what's the neighborhood like, even the nasty ones.

No, not really.

Maybe it's because the pictures have only been taken by me. If I had the budget right now to contract freelancers to take pictures of their local flowers, then that would probably improve my website's performance. That's a project worth improving in the near future.

Though there might be a certain controversy in contracting people to make their own memes, if you're good enough at it, it won't matter. True, there's a lot of automated meme"generators"where they use substandard pictures and caption it with stroke lined"Impact"fonts. But these websites' popularity are rapidly on the decline because of the lack of personal touch that's inherently needed on memes.

What you can do

Sponsor a "funniest picture contest" for a modest amount and then find freelance comedy writers to caption it. The one funniest meme that drives the most traffic should win. It's up to you, you can lay down the rules for the contest. Memes can definitely bring in a lot of traffic to websites.

D. Photo on Demand Website

News websites are a dime a dozen nowadays but one thing that strikes me as hard to find are services that provide "photo on demand". Stock photography websites are many too, but they often charge ridiculous amounts of money even for a single photograph. The thing is news websites or any blog for that matter, always need a fair amount of relevant and cheap but quality photographs for their content.

Searching using Google for images is always almost tricky too because of copyright concerns.

What people want is affordable photographs that are royalty free and at a really good price.

You can outsource that to freelance photographers and then come out as a middle man making it easier for the media websites to access photos that they could use without any fear of intellectual property issues.

E. GIF Rendering Services

With the rise of Google plus and tumblr, animated GIFs are a resurgent phenomenon that's making a huge splash in the world of social media. As of the time of this writing, most of the GIF generating websites are all automated. Which is really a disadvantage.

How much money does President Benigno Aquino III (NoyNoy)

And for that matter, how much money are the esteemed and honorable members of the House of Representatives of the Republic of the Philippines keeping from their SALNs?

That is the real question and that is the real moral quandary facing the Philippines today.

I must apologize because I, an ordinary Filipino citizen do not know the answer to the question of the blog post title.

I do not know how much money President Benigno Aquino III, keeps in his bank account.

I tried Googling it, but have only found an uncited source which pegs President Noynoy's networth at P54.99 million as of 2010. I will not give credit to the source, because it is unreliable. What I need and demand from all our leaders is that they sign waivers across the board, and post on their official websites or twitter accounts or whatever - to post not only their SALNs but also their bank accounts and their relatives bank accounts.

I'm not pro-Corona, pro-Aquino, pro-opposition, or pro-whatever I am just a simple and ordinary citizen, who would like to know.

I am frustrated, angry and at the same time fearful for our nation. Because we are a nation of hypocrites. I am well aware that this is a political issue and not a moral one. What irks me the most is that they are pretending that it is a moral one to garner public support for their agenda.

The "truth" as a word and as a concept, has been abused, confused and misused in so many deleterious ways that intelligent discourse over the issues facing our country today is a virtual impossibility.

And all of these are happening while the People's Republic of China happily "fishes" on our sovereign territory.

For me, I feel like I am being slapped in the face, not just by the PRC but also by our own leaders. In fact, my face is so red in anger and slaps that my face has become like hellboy.

Hi if you're here at my blog for the very first time, please understand that I don't know the answers to everything, also I don't have money. I'm writing this because I have questions of my own.

I can understand that a lot of people need money right now, they need jobs, they need help, they need to pay off their debts, they need to handle life's problems that can only be solved by money.

I want to believe in what Robert Kiyosaki says, and don't get me wrong, I think it's true. But I think there's more than that than just serving. Everybody is serving everybody today.

You'll join their prosperity seminars, bring your handy dandy notebook, meet new people, have a positive attitude, dress for success and take note of every single detail that they say and present on the whiteboard.

Meanwhile you've dug yourself a deep grave in all sorts of debt to finance this unlocking the ____________ thing.

The Hard Truth
The simple and hard truth is, big easy money doesn't exist. It's not enough to serve more people, you have to do so by offering something new, something which isn't ordinary, something that makes things faster, something of value that others who are doing exactly the same thing aren't offering.

Even then, getting rich through that route isn't an absolute rule. A lot of people have innovated and done the same thing, yet have remained poor til the day they enter their graves.

You have to fight for it, protect it and ensure that you're always ahead - which isn't easy since there are millions of people trying to survive just like you and me.
