Yep! Another summer just about over for some students. As a former student myself, I remember being super excited for school to begin. Once the first week is over, not so much. Why? Oh, you know. Of course, you can chat with your fellow students about the summer. But mostly, for the NEW backpacks, supplies and clothing. I know vain. But most kids are...face it. It was just something about having new school clothes and supplies. Holding the brand new pencil, writing on the crisp notebook paper....magical. Ah...the memories! Then that fabulous moment happens. When a fellow student compliments your cool pen or pencil, folder. "Where did your mom get that from?" "It's so cool!" "I want one too!" "Ask your mom to buy me one." Didn't it make you feel special? All of that attention. My mom made me the star of the day! Bic has been apart of my special memories for many years. Back then it was only the Bic pens. Now they have many more products and now these mechanical pencils. They pencil structure is made like a pen. Definitely has eye-catching, vibrant colors that definitely will hold any kid's interest. In addition it has a durable eraser head, which is a definite for a tween. the pencil. Last year, my daughter was complaining r that she has a callus from writing and drawing many times in class. So she will definitely need this comfortable padding for her to grip as she writes or draws.

There is a reason why people have been loyal to Bic products since 1945. If you discover a product that meets your needs by all means cling to it. My daughter writes with mechanical pencils at school and at home for writing assignments. I wanted to get her opinion on the difference between Bic's Velocity pencil compared to the mechanical pencils she used last year. Trust me, she is the go to for blatantly honest opinions. This stain was the worst EVER!!!!

This stain was the absolute worst! I couldn't remove it without ruining the jacket. This is actual stain that my daughter mysteriously got on her jacket. I wanted to try Purex plus Clorox 2 on it, since the Purex brand provided me with a sample in return, review this product. Hey why not? It couldn't have arrived at a better time. My brother's birthday is fast approaching. Our family is scrambling around trying to figure out what gift to give him. My brother is extremely low key. His attitude for just about everything is "it's okay". I know right. Not much of a clue as to what he really loves. We are bouncing ideas everywhere about what will not only surprise him, but a gift that he will actually LOVE! Considering the fact that I am the most savvy of the family, naturally, I went to the internet to get ideas. As I begin to search, I think of things he enjoys like watching sports of any kind and eating. Yeah that sums it up pretty much. Since this is baseball season, I am checking baseball games...$59 for a few tickets. However, problem is scheduling for the discounted tickets are not on his days off. Otherwise, the ticket costs are too high for a group of people. So, that's out for now.

Okay, I continue to check a few restaurants that he prefers dining. But...uh...it is out of my price range! Now what? Think girl, THINK! I thought I can search for affordable restaurants. I did the search and not one of his favs were listed. I called my friend for more ideas. I gave her the rundown on my efforts for his birthday gifts and she said "Go to Restaurant.com and see what they have available. My husband and I went to a fancy restaurant because of a few of their deals in the past." We chatted for a minute as I searched and visited the website. It began to look familiar to me. Which Snakeskin jacket is a blast from the past?

if you guessed the black and white jacket, you know your fashion.

I am sure you have heard the old saying as I did, history has a way of repeating itself. It is channeling the past for current fashions. I have no problem with it. I absolutely cray, cray (crazy) over snakeskin anything. But, I can say that there is small details to update the look. If you noticed the lapel, it is a solid black color. Unlike the 70's pic on the right which is a little snakeskin overkill. The buttons standout more than the older version. Slight detailing overall. However, if you were to wear the 1970's version, you will be in style now. Just change the buttons.

It is difficult for anyone, especially moms to motivate themselves to exercise. When you finally have some free time, you hardly have enough energy to exercise. As funny as it sounds, it is more work added to your routine. To be specific, laundry! Add on an extra load. But I have a suggestion. Once again I am reviewing a product that Smiley360.com has given me for free. But as I stated before this my opinion about the product. You know sometimes I think they have a psychic that predicts what product I will enjoy. Truly I enjoy most of them! This time I ran out of my daily vitamins and wouldn't you know it, Smily360.com sent me Centrum gummies vitamins! Typically, I dislike that medicine after taste that most vitamins do. But not these gummies! It has different fruity flavors like orange, cherry, etc. Honestly, there was a slight after taste, however, not like the typical vitamins. I can deal with this taste wayyyyyyy better than other vitamins for sure. The texture is similar to regular gummies smooth outer and chewy inner. Another benefit is how it supports energy, immunity and your metabolism. Personally, after the first week, I believe there was a difference in my energy levels. Prior to taking these gummy vitamins, my energy levels were low.

Mom can I have a phone please? Mom, I will do anything for a phone! How many of you had your child beg you for something they desperately desire? Too many times to count. I know firsthand. My daughter has been asking for a phone for a while and it has been a no go. She doesn't know it yet, but I plan to get a cheapy, beepy phone. She is only ten and most ten year olds will lose it. There has been times that after washing my hands, they just didn't feel "squeaky" clean. Well, Dial has created another cutting edge hand soap that will make your hands squeak without feeling dry. When you think of Boutiques, you think classy, unique, original and stylish, or at least I do. A good boutique holds a higher standard than the typical retail store. So when I got the chance to review the Dial Boutique Collection hand soap, I was intrigued. This is my own opinion about this product and my daughter gave her two cents as well.

Beginning with the packaging, I noticed that it was a little more upscale that most hand soap bottles. Sugar Cane Husk Scrub peaked my interest. I thought about how sugar cane would smell and what is this "scrub thing" about in this hand soap. My daughter and I anxiously awaited to try this out. She suddenly had the urge to visit the bathroom. This time I wanted to get her feedback and boy did I. Ohhh...this smells so good! Something else is in this soap. This is not like the regular soap you buy mom. Not only does it smell good, but my hands are super soft! Here smell them and she proceeds to shove her hands in my face. "Whoa... I said, it does smell pretty good."
So of course I had to wash my hands, after all, I want soft hands too.

As I pumped once, I thought okay consistency is like other hand soap. But then, I rubbed my hands together for the surprise. I felt little scrubbers, somewhat like grains of sugar, but not as coarse. Descent lather. However, what was unlike most hand soap my hands felt baby soft and smelled wonderful. I am excited that I received this free for a product review. In my opinion, I would buy this product for these reasons, the fragrance, the "scrubbers" that sloughed away debris and the softness of my hands and how squeaky clean my hands were after washing.

For the past few years, I have become a naturalist. Learning how to care for my dry hair with natural oils has been a refreshing yet challenging experience. But, you better believe, that using natural oils to moisturize my skin has been one of the best decisions of my life. That is why I am selective about products I use to cleanse my skin. Sometimes cleansers are drying and my skin feels like sandpaper. I was searching for a cleanser that moisturizes Naturally. I have tried various oils like coconut oil, olive oil and almond oil on my skin in the past. However, I had to do some research on Marula Oil. However, I will express my personal thoughts in regards to this product.

Being the sort of picky about the products I use on my skin, I had to research further. After researching various sites, I discovered that the origin of Marula Oil is from Africa. It is organic. It has a sweet aroma and contains High levels of Vitamin C & E! In addition, it is an essential amino acid, it reduces the effects of the environment and neutralizes free radicals. But get this, it actually helps with cell renewal. Let's face it, the older we get the younger we want our skin to look. If your skin is dry like mine is dry, then you need to get this pronto! Oh yeah, its rich in Omega 9 too!

What's the 911 of drinks? EMERGEN-C

What is the obsession with Emergen-C? I watched more than one YouTube video explaining why they love it so. I have asked this question many times...but thanks to Smiley360.com, I was able to try it out. Now, don't get it twisted, I am giving my OWN opinion about Emergen-C and how I feel about the product. So this is the unfiltered truth!

Let me just state that I am a Huge Water Fan! I am part of the few percentage that will enjoy a tall cold glass of water all day, but, I can honestly say that I enjoyed drinking Emergen-C. Being able to try something new to drink that was loaded with vitamin C, was something I can get used to. I was given a variety of packets of different flavors to sample from Smiley360.com. The flavors were definitely intriguing. I guess if I were to combine a variety of drinks to describe the taste would be a little of water, mixed with club soda and juice or Kool-Aid combined into one drink. The fizz isn't as overbearing as a soda or as we say in Chicago a "pop". However, I like that factor. I think the fizz in different pops/sodas are a little strong for me. My personal favorite is the Immune+ Warmers Berry Medley. It is packed with Vitamin C, Vitamin D, B Vitamins and Zinc. You can drink this Warm. On a cold winters day, trust me, you want warm. Oh ....but the taste! Yummy!

I guess come summertime, I will switch to the regular flavors to drink with cold water. Overall, I wanted to begin this year eating and drinking healthier and this has convinced me that I am on the right path.

Finally got something wonderful to share with you! Indeed, it has been a long time since I have written on my blog. But, I wanted to return with a Big BOOM! First, let me take a quick sip of this coffee. Mmmmmmm. Yummy! I know it is kind of late in the evening for coffee, but, if you are like me a true coffee drinker, you have urges to drink late sometimes for a quick pick-me-up. In the mornings, I get the strongest of Strong coffee get me moving. However, I don't want to drink a strong drink in the late afternoon. Money Snatcher Mom snatched another great product to review! Yay! This product actually sells itself. It has been around for years and has been a staple in my family for stains. I am writing a review for Fels-Naptha laundry & stain bar! I have used this product now for years, however, recently I became more aware of the stain remover. There was this yucky stain on one of my favorite blouses. Can't even begin to tell you where the stain came from (it was the back of my blouse). You know the rubber glue we used for arts & crafts, well the stain had that rubbery texture, mixed with something else.
