Some blogger was spreading the hype real thick about this awesome traffic toolbar that could work magic. I don't usually react to everything I read on blogs but his description was so detailed, I just had to find out for myself. Guess what? The blogger was not lying, this was a great toolbar so I downloaded it immediately.

It only took seconds to download and install. It only took a few minutes to load all my ads and banners. They even gave me 1000 credits for signing up. The site has how-to videos for almost everything on the site. I watched a few videos and also checked out the bios of all the staff; those people really know their stuff and are dedicated to the success of this website.

The concept of the toolbar is very simple. Instead of surfing for hours viewing other member sites, just use the toolbar and watch the ad credits pile up. Let me explain it another way - you get paid for doing absolutely nothing. Every time your web browser clicks another website page, you earn credits. So.... while you are clicking all those links on your PTR sites, you are also earning AD CREDITS at the same time for free. Understand how it works now?

This is the easiest way to earn free traffic ever. The only thing left to do now is learn how to write good ads that grab attention and make others want to click on your ad. Play around with toolbar and banner ads to see which ones work the best. There are so many other features of this toolbar and this is just the beginning. Give it a try; you have nothing to lose since it's free. Just click on the small banner on the right to get this awesome free toolbar.

IM REPORT CARD - UPDATE

What's the hottest make money program on the internet now? The winner is IM REPORT CARD and they are here to stay. If you have never heard of this great website, check out my previous post dated July 18th. If you are ready to sign up now, just click on the small green and white banner under the Blog Archives box. Since joining in July, I have already made over one hundred dollars within a month. Of course there is a payment proof (see favorites links).

Anyway the site has made major changes and most of the upgrades really help the members enjoy the site more. Here are some of the upgrades: Not only do they let you advertise in your signature but now you get a profile page. I have gotten a ton of traffic by members clicking on my website link from my profile. They now have banners in a variety of sizes and sample prefilled email invitations. Bonus credits for being the first few members to comment on a new site. Websites can now be sorted many ways to make them easier to find. The website now accepts international users, you just have to submit a writing sample. IM REPORT CARD now has a blog which updates their members with any changes to the site and they also have excellent customer service. They have subscriptions, bookmarks and a lively forum which you can post your blog. These are just some of the changes, way too many to list here so check out the site for yourself - you won't be disappointed.

The best thing I love about this site are the REVIEWS. Those reviews are well written and very detailed, just a joy to read. Before I even think of joining an online program now, I check IM REPORT CARD first. Why not get some background info about a site from the actual members and believe me, the members are brutally honest with their comments! Now you can see why this new website has taken off so quickly and is the hottest thing on the internet right now. Next to MYLOT of course, this is my favorite site! Click on the banner on the right, you won't regret it.

WATCH OUT INTERNET SCAMS

I found a wonderful new website two weeks ago, my apologies for waiting to tell you guys about the site but been busy making money and getting paid. Yes, I have already been paid twice (check the payment proof links) and it has only been two weeks.

The new site is called IM REPORT CARD. Here is the actual site bio: an internet marketing community that's updated daily with new and unbiased reviews of popular internet marketing products, services and people. Get the real scoop before you buy, grade products you are familiar with, report scams, add comments and share your experiences, and GET PAID just for participating. So what does all this really mean? You get paid to give your opinions about internet programs you joined and stop scams at the same time. So how does this site help stop scams? What better testimony than actual members who joined the programs rather than sponsored reviews?

Here are just a few ways to earn on this great site: rate a review or comment (5 credits) grade a product, service or person (10 credits) add a comment (50 credits) suggest a new product, service or person (75 credits) report spam or inappropriate content (100 credits) refer new members (whatever they earn). Payout is twenty credits which is paid within 24 hours and they use Paypal. It's so easy to earn on this site just writing about internet programs you have joined. The credits add up very fast.

As I told my friends on Mylot, don't just join this great site for the money. Think of this website as doing your part to help the online community stop scams, that is the ultimate goal of IM REPORT CARD. We all want to make money on the internet and most of us have come across scams and now we can do something about them. Although the site is new there are many exciting changes taking place and the potential of this website is huge. Please read the updates (blog link) at the bottom of their home page for the latest news. So ready to share your opinion, stop scams and earn some cash? Just click on the banner below to join.

WORKING ON LAYOUT TODAY

Hey someone left a great comment on this blog. The poster offered to buy this blog. Can you believe that? It never once crossed my mind the idea of selling blogs but from what I am learning, it's very popular. People are snatching up blogs all over the place. Why buy a used blog? I do not know nor do I care. The lesson here is blogs are big business which means big money.

The offer to buy this blog did get me to thinking, perhaps I better pay more attention to detail on my blogs. Even thinking about monetizing all my blogs. Monetize is the new internet buzzword for sharing revenue with the top search engine called Google. Yeah there are other companies willing to share revenue with you but Google is the front runner.

Anyway making changes to the layout today to make room for all kinds of neat monetizing tools. I have moved the Payment Proofs Slideshow and the Scam Stories to the My Favorite Links column. The Stat Counter is now at the top of the page. To see how the new banner rotation tool works just hit the Refresh icon on the top of your browser. Lots of great online programs to view.

Even with all the layout changes, don't worry, the content will not be compromised. Finding helpful and entertaining stuff to write about is why my posts are so few. I will not write any blah blah blah junk posts just to fill blog pages. Hope you like the changes and thanks for your support.

CHECKING MY LINKS TODAY

I have not posted on this blog in months! I have been extremely busy trying all sorts of things, wasting a ton of time but not my money- this time, and why? To figure out how to earn on the internet of course. Sound familiar? Well I am right back where I started but now have a set plan to follow. I have narrowed my internet journey down to three things: blogging, paid to read and Squidoo. Three sounds like too many things to juggle but since they are all connected in some way, it's really quite easy to keep up with. Squidoo is my top earner so far.

Blogging, if you have not figured it out yet, is my least favorite. It requires so much time to write readable, worthy of your readers attention, posts. Some people put up banners all over the site, say a few words and call that blogging. Nonsense - that is not even good advertising. Good luck trying to find your banner on one of those sites.

Anyway, cleaning house today on my favorite blog so I will be checking My Favorite links. So far I have deleted two links. Either the owner deleted my exchange link or the blog does not exist anymore. What? Does that really happen? Remember what I just told you about blogging? Those guys either figured out how tough blogging really is OR blogger.com gave them a little push and deleted their site. I prefer to leave on my own terms.

If you own a blog, please check your links on a monthly basis for those reasons listed above. What's the point of having favorite links if there are no links? By the way, if you exchanged links with this site, please make sure your blog is valid and my link is on your site. Well that's it for today folks, I have to get back to Squidoo (look for the orange banner below) to work on my lenses. Take care and happy blogging everyone!

DELETING THESE SITES NOW

In my previous post, I told you guys about taking a new direction. My main goal with PTR is to maintain those sites with low payouts ($5 and under) and build a downline (more on this later). Clixsense and Inbox Dollars are my only high payout sites. They are very reliable sites and both have paid me. The first PTR site to get the ax is Donkeymails. Although it's a reliable site when it comes to payouts, there are way too many popups. What are popups? Disgusting, nagging little ads that pop up all over the place when you click on the paid link. They wouldn't be so annoying if:

There weren't so many of them; usually about 5 ads

Most of the ads are adult content or just plain junk mail

Sometimes hard to shut down the popup windows

Contain viruses and spyware that track your history

If you can deal with popups, by all means, stay with Donkeymails. They send lots of emails and always pay their members. Another PTR site that has a ton of popups is Mysteremail so they are being deleted too.

Another very good reason I am deleting these PTR sites is their ads pay less than a penny. You will have to click on 4 ads to equal one penny. Not a good use of your time and, time is money in this business. So this is the first step in taking my new direction in PTR, deleting sites with popups and those paying under one penny. I hope you continue to stay with me and happy clicking!

TAKING A NEW DIRECTION

If you have been to my HOME PAGE on Squidoo, you already know there are a few PTR sites missing. Let's see, Euroclickers is missing in action, Gigabux has shut down, other sites have too many server issues and makes it hard to load, some sites having payment processor issues, my favorite site Apairof has run out of ads and cannot afford to pay us right now. They did not shut down, just can't make any payments now, whatever that means. Bear in mind, all this has happened in the last month and there is lots more to come. Many sites closing and new sites opening every day. I joined a site called wrmoney that closed in 2 weeks of opening!

All this commotion has forced me to make some drastic changes and head in a new direction. I cannot afford to waste any more of my time on new or unproven PTR sites. It's very frustrating to finally reach payout only to find the site has closed. If you have ever done this, you know exactly how this feels. If this has never happened to you, count your blessings. Anyway I will be making a few changes starting with cutting way back on my PTR sites. I will be updating my Squidoo lens in phases so keep checking back in for the updates. Please don't lose hope in PTR; I have made money using them and plan on making more money in the future.

GIGABUX IS CLOSED

This site just shut down one day last week. No reason given. However I did notice something very odd. Their link takes you to this weird greenish blue page that says "gigaserver" and it's all in what looks like french language. Perhaps this is a big international server. Whatever the case, it's something to think about because I have seen this site many times when PTR sites shut down. I didn’t want it to come to this; I know that many users have accused this site of being a scam. I can assure you that my intentions were and are completely legitimate, I wanted Paid.vg to be the perfect PTC site, and I spent a solid month improving the original $30 Bux script. It had many bugs and missing features. I redesigned it to be as clear and fast as I could by fixing the errors, adding new features and giving it a unique design. I know that you can now buy a PTC script for around $40-50 and have your PTC site running in no time at all, but I really put effort into the site in order to make it different and not just another generic buggy Bux site. There is a simple explanation to why Paid.vg and 99% of PTC don’t stay open. The PTC business model does not work.I can’t stress that enough. I hope more and more people start to realise this. The list of sites that have closed down with no explanation is endless. Yet the PTC community continue to use PTCs. Paid.vg has stayed open for 6 months. This is longer than most PTCs live, I probably should have realised that the site was failing and closed it much earlier to avoid the problems now, but I was stubborn and believed it could be worked through, I made several attempts at reviving the site with no luck.Bux Up was launched in order to generate some cash in order to help pay off the requests pending at Paid.vg. I know that a lot of users boycotted Bux Up because Paid.vg owns it; I apologize if it was misleading. Script.vg doesn’t have the demand I thought it might, this will be closed down in the near future and the few that have not received their script yet will receive it by tomorrow.I would like to move out of the PTC industry, it has been extremely difficult and stressful. I would just like to explain something to those of you who are new to the PTC sites or haven’t really thought about how they work. Essentially, the picture that is created for the user is, the ads you click are funded by advertisers who are external to the site. This is not the case for 99.99% of the PTCs out there, the site may have one or two occasional outside advertisers, but the site itself funds nearly all of the ads. This means that the money paid out to the users is from those who pay for upgrades or referrals. At first launch it may seem like the site is doing well, referrals and upgrades are bought in abundance, however after a few weeks or months the payment requests start flooding in. The requests eventually amount to more then is being earned by the site.I apologize if you are a dedicated PTC user, some of the things I have said may not be exactly what you want to hear. I am sure 99% of you will continue to use PTCs as normal and I am sure it provides a small income for many of you, but in the end the model doesn’t work and there are always people who lose out.I am glad that Paid.vg never expanded as quickly as Bux.to. Bux.to is a ticking time bomb that is waiting to go off. It is far bigger than any PTC should ever be.What happens next?I have created a temporary forum available here for the next few days. I will be on to answer any good questions. A section will also be available for those of you who feel you are the worst off. If you explain clearly then this may improve you chances of being reimbursed for any lost money. Please do not abuse the temporary forum; there is no point if it is not used constructively. The $3,120 remaining in my account will be used to pay those who have lost out from Paid.vg. Those who have either lost nothing or profited from Paid.vg will take the least priority. This page and the temporary forum will be taken down once as many issues have been fixed as possible. Bux Up will only display ads from external advertisers from now on, which may mean fewer ads, but a more reliable and long lasting site. Like I said before, I would like to leave the PTC area, I will definitely not be opening any more PTCs, however I will keep Bux Up open. It should be a long lasting site, as external advertisers will fund it. But unfortunately most PTC users have become accustomed to the 8-20 ads available a day at PTC sites, which Bux Up simply won’t be able to compete with. However, I realise now, slow and steady wins the race.If you have read this entire message I appreciate that, I realise it is quite long, I tried to keep it concise as possible. I truly apologize for any issues that Paid.vg has caused and I hope that I am able to cover your losses over the next couple of days.Alex

PAID.VG IS CLOSED

Domain Name: paid.vg Registrant Alex Hawke Tachbrook Road, CV31 3DQ Leamington Spa United Kingdom E-mail: adamsnames@rrpproxy.net Phone: +44.07979320526 Fax: +44.1111111 Technical Contact Paid.vg Site 15111 N. Guess what else? For every PTR site that shuts down, one replaces it, AND it might very well be the same owner of the closed site. There is also a wave of PTR sites claiming to be HACKED so these sites will also be added to the list. Whenever a site gets hacked, all accounts are erased along with everyone's hard earned money. Even if the site reopens, the owner will not return the money. Does that sound like an honest person? Well there is a way to check the owners of the site and I will start keeping a log of these owners on this blog. It will list the owner's information such as name, email, phone and possibly the admin and other owners of the site. For easy access to these posts, click on the PTC Detective Link under My Favorites. She got stuck with returned check and other bank fees. I now have to remove their banner from my website and MYLOT profile. The goods news is I was no where near payout since it was so high, so all I have lost is a little time. I got one email per day so it wasn't that much time.

Anyway because of these scam sites hitting the fan, I will be adding yet another feature to this blog called SCAM STORIES. By reading the actual stories, you can hear it from the horses mouth and make your own decision. I cannot tell you enough about participating in the forums when it comes to PTR. Beenpaid is a great site but sometimes it takes awhile for members to report the scam sites and then get them listed on the scam list.

Just reading her story taught me yet another lesson. PUT ALL YOUR TIME INTO THE RELIABLE SITES. No upgrading memberships or heavy promoting until I get paid first. I will also be changing my ratings of the PTR programs on my HOME PAGE to include reliability. Payment for my hard work is the utmost priority. There are several PTR sites that pay me on a regular basis, these are the sites I will be promoting to build my downline. These are the sites I will upgrade membership. You get the point? They have earned my trust by paying me.

UPDATE:

Another member of MYLOT just reported a Buxto site that was stealing her referrals (link posted below). I cannot stress enough how important it is to stay in forums especially ones like Mylot. You will find out faster thru word of mouth and not waste any more of your valuable time.

MY COMPLAINTS ABOUT PTR

It was bound to happen and I should have done this post at the beginning of my blog. But hey, I did not want to discourage anyone away from PTR with my bitching and moaning. Don't misunderstand me, I love PTR but there are certain aspects of this job I absolutely hate! I am only telling you these things so that you can prepare yourself. Who knows, you might like these minor inconveniences. Anyway, here are my gripes:

SLOW/NOT LOADING WEBSITE: Self explanatory, no further information is needed. That is the main reason why I don't usually sign up for PTR programs that hold the links on their website. I much prefer to get an email, click and delete. My pages load fast with high speed internet access. Remember, time is money. To make matters worse, the layout of their website is horrible. Trying clicking on 20 links and not being able to tell which links you already clicked. They definitely need to fire their website designer.

YOU HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED CREDIT: I was really excited to get 10 emails from one PTR program one day and started clicking frantically. To my disappointment, 5 of the emails were duplicates. Why the hell would they send me duplicate emails? This makes no sense at all and it's also a waste of my valuable time.

THE SAME BORING ADS: Let's face it, we are all doing PTR to earn money. But there are times when I want to read the ads, to break up the monotony. I like learning new things. I want to know the best way to save money on a trip to Cancun. I want a discount at Ebay. I also get sick and tired of them promoting other PTR programs. The ads are supposed to be driven by my interests. Remember the interest categories we checked after signing up? That was practically useless!

MISLEADING PAYMENT DETAILS: This gem is my favorite pet peave. There is nothing I hate more than signing up for a PTR program that promised to pay 1 cents and then receive an email paying .0001 cents! What the hell is .0001 cents, and who really cares what it means? All I need to know is does it equal one penny? NO, IT DOES NOT! So why did the website promise to pay 1 cents per click? You know how they get away with it? The little fine print that says "up to" 1 cents. This lesson kicked in quickly and now I never sign up for any PTR programs unless I know 1 cents means 1 cents.

PAYMENT PROOFS

Sorry folks for not keeping up with the posts but I have been spending a great deal of time on MYLOT. I honestly cannot help it; that site is addictive. Can you imagine spending time with all kinds of people around the world with the exact same interests as you? Click on the blue MYLOT link if you want to know more about Mylot. Of course you want to know more right? So what are you waiting for? Click on the link. OK - back to my post.

Mylot members who also do PTR where discussing putting payment proofs on their websites. I thought long and hard about this topic and decided to "go with the crowd". I don't know why it even took me this long to decide. There are so many scams out there as I keep telling you so why on Earth should you believe me as well? I apologize for taking you all for granted. Like I also said at the beginning of my journey, learn from my mistakes - so update your websites folks with payment proofs!

Please be patient as I update this blog with payment proofs. UPDATE: payment proofs are now located on the HOME PAGE. As one mylotter quoted on the discussion board "SHOW ME THE MONEY!"

SCAM ALERT

Remember the post about BeenPaid.com? Well I sure hope you took my advice and spent some time on their website. After what happened last week, I will make sure it becomes part of my weekly routine. For those of you who visited my HOME PAGE, you probably noticed that one of my programs, Englandbux, is missing. Since their timer is extremely long, I only log on once a week. I went to log on last week and the site wouldn't load. No problem, sites go down all the time.

While chatting on my favorite site, MYLOT (they pay you to start discussions) someone brought up the subject of Englandbux. They were very disappointed the site was down for almost two weeks. Someone else clicked in and said Englandbux was a scam site and probably shut down their site to evade the law. This conversation caught my attention so I quickly joined in to gather more details.

PTR is just like any other business. Companies have technical issues and their sites go down. They don't always pay on time. They don't return emails in a timely manner. Hell, some companies don't even return your email. You get my point. Don't take my word for it but you will find lots of people doing PTR love to scream "scam" whenever things don't go their way. Perhaps maybe they have been scammed before and never want to take chances.

Anyway, I am a person that does not take others words at face value - I want some kind of proof. So when I heard that Englandbux was a scam site, I immediately went to BeenPaid to inquire. I checked the Boycott list and Englandbux was not on the list. To make matters worse, the Englandbux site had starting working again. I learned this from the Mylot forum. I could have just gone by the Boycott list and continued with Englandbux but that nagging feeling in my stomach would not go away.

I went to BeenPaid's forum and typed "Englandbux" in the search box, and there it was. The discussion that put an arrow through my heart. The owner of the post had linked all his other posts to this site and the list was l-o-n-g. He had went as far as looking up the owner of Englandbux, who also ran other scam sites that got shut down. I hate saying this people, but the internet is a dangerous place and it breeds of sorts of scams. I guess it's so easy for people to hide behind a computer and rip people off. Although Englandbux was not on Boycott's list, the other PTR programs were. I made my decision right then NOT to continue on with Englandbux.

When not doing PTR, I spend most of my time on Mylot. It's an online community where you can talk about anything under the sun. Mylot has an entire community just for people who do PTR. Do you know what that means? It's like having insider tips. You will make a lot of friends who are doing the same thing you are and can share experiences, good or bad. Oh yeah, did I tell you Mylot pays you for posting? That's the best news ever! Now you understand why I spend so much time on MYLOT. Just click on the link to get started.

Enough about Mylot - this post is about scams. I want to leave you with this very important message. You cannot believe everything you hear or read. Take all the facts, a little common sense and your intuition before making any decision. Let's face it, where one PTR company turns out to be a scam, there is always another good one that will replace it. Don't give up when this happens, just keep on clicking!

ANOTHER PRO SPAMMER

One of the keys to becoming successful in PTR is building a downline (referrals). The basic concept of a DOWNLINE is you make money from referring other members and get paid from their efforts. The bigger your downline, the bigger your paycheck. I will be submitting more posts on building a downline later on.

So how do you get referrals? Simple - by advertising and/or telling everyone you know about PTR. But wait, that involves spending money right? Wrong. Throughout my blog, I will share with you how to get FREE ADVERTISING to promote your PTR website. Don't have a PTR website? Are you crazy? That's a must have if you plan on doing PTR. Click on the Blue Squidoo box on the menu bar to get started. You will love Squidoo and it's FREE (more details about Squidoo later on).

One of the most popular ways of getting free advertising is by signing up for traffic generating websites. You gain credits by visiting other websites (surfing) for a few seconds. Use your credits to showcase your websites to other users of the program. There is no software to download and the websites are free to join.

Today's post is about one of those surfing websites, TOPSURFER. The very same day I signed up, I received five emails. They send about three emails per day - that is just ridiculous and I have not even started surfing yet. Can you tell by this post how much I really hate SPAM? Well, by joining this site, you give them permission to send you all those emails (read the fine print people). This is just my opinion but Topsurfer goes in the Professional Spammers List. But stay tuned to read about some really great traffic generating websites.

Better yet, sign up for a subscription to this blog!

BEEN PAID.COM

BeenPaid.com is the only comprehensive directory of free to join "get paid to" programs that are verified as having paid their members. Since June 2003, BeenPaid has been providing and sharing information with their members on how to earn online. They also have a members forum, news, tip of the month, surveys and contests. When Myster-E-Mail went on vacation, they posted the dates in the news section. Now that's the kind of news I want to know! Remember, look for the seal of approval (diamond) for paying sites!

So WHY exactly do you want to know about BeenPaid? I hate to be the bearer of bad news but when doing business on the internet, there are all kinds of scam, fly by night companies that will do anything to take your money.

Their websites look legitimate and some will even pay their members, in the beginning, to gain their trust. They know in the PTR world, the news of quick payouts travels fast and that in turns brings more members. With more members come more advertisers, with more money to be made for the scam company, NOT us. There is nothing more discouraging than clicking away for days, only to find out you will not be paid for your hours of hard work.

Spend some quality time on the BeenPaid website. It will be well worth your time and possibly money. One of their biggest missions right now is to STOP SCAMS. Click on the banner below, it's a great place to start!

PROFESSIONAL SPAMMERS LIST

I hate SPAM but it seems to be a necessary evil when it comes to blogging or just having any type of internet business. I guess you can't blame the spammers for pushing their goods because we are on the internet doing exactly the same thing.

I signed up with this PTR website called Adcash.org last week. Let me show you what enticed me to join: two cents per click, up to $2.00 for referring new members, five cents for referrals viewing ads for lifetime and here's the real winner: get paid up to $1.00 per click for letting Adcash share my email with the advertisers. My thinking was since I get a ton of email from unsolicited companies, why not give my email to companies that will pay me? The idea sounded good at the time.

Anyway I was in for a real shock when I logged in the first day to view ads. The hold time was 114 seconds and there were only four ads. Can you believe that? OMG, that's almost two minutes! The thought of that $1.00 for my email kept me strong. There is a section at the very bottom of the website that is designated for "$1 clicks to give email to advertisers" and for one week I checked this section to find no $1 ads. By now those 2 minute hold times were really ticking me off.

However, throughout the week I did receive three emails a day from Adcash with links on them. As I clicked the links the first day I noticed there was no timer. That is not unusual, some ads don't have timers. The links were all "sign up for this" kind of ads, which I quickly deleted. The next day same set of ads, the same exact ads, really. Deleted, deleted, deleted. By the end of the week I was truly pissed and decided to quit while ahead.

There were no $1 ads, not even 2 cent links. Nothing but a ton of SPAM. There are many lessons to be learned by this experiment. Don't believe everything you read. Don't be so quick to give away your email, it's a commodity. Don't waste your time on HOLD times over 1 minute. Everyone knows the old saying "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." I should have taken my own advice.

One good lesson I am learning when it comes to PTR, it no longer takes me a month before I throw in the towel. If I find a website that is not delivering on their promises or not worth my valuable time, I end it quickly - no more than a week. Another good lesson, share the knowledge, which I am doing through this blog. I will be starting what I like to call a Professional Spammers List because of Adcash.

In the PTR world, we don't need spam, we need more PAID emails!

CLIXSENSE EXPERIMENT

When you start doing PTR, you will try a ton of companies. Why? Because there are hundreds of companies popping up every day AND as I stated before, the curiosity will get you eventually. The ads are just so darn colorful and you want to believe so bad all those promises of future riches. Hopefully after a few bad apples, you will find the programs you really like, that pay well and settle down for the long haul.

While chatting in a forum one day I joined a PTR program called ClixSense. Nothing fancy about this site, just the same old blah blah blah memberships benefits paragraph. In fact, the only reason I joined was because they paid 1 cents per ad. On my first day there were 5 ads, maybe 3 ads the second day and 3-5 ads from then on. This was like molasses and sometimes I didn't even log on.

Well I went back to the forum (I go there a lot) and there was that same woman chatting on and on about ClixSense. She had just upgraded her account to premium status and they instantly gave her 500 ads. Yeah right, and all it cost her was ten dollars. Lady, you must be crazy if you think anyone will pay $10 for a lousy premium membership. What exactly do you get for premium status anyway?

Of course I had to check the benefits of premium membership and read the fine print, curiosity you know (smile). This piece was taken from their website explaining the difference between a free account and premium status:

Premium account status indicates to advertisers that the viewer has successfully made a purchase using a credit card or bank account online. Premium members may have the opportunity to view more ads, thus earning more money since some advertisers select only to display their ads to viewers who have proven purchasing power.

May have the opportunity to view more ads? Reading this statement does not give me a warm feeling at all! I don't see any benefits or a reason to send them my money! Never forget the reason why we are doing PTR, to make money, not give it away!

After 2 weeks of molasses ads at ClixSense I thought about that woman in the forum again. Maybe she was right. Five hundred ads is $5 in earnings, that's 1/2 the premium membership fee so that means I am just paying $5 instead of $10. See I had to actually talk myself into this crazy experiment for a few days. Actually this brainstorming went on for a week before I decided to part with my money. One deep breath and my $10 was gone. I immediately logged on to the site and no ads. My stomach was now in knots. What the heck was going on, they didn't even give me my normal 3 ads. Now I was mad and decided to write a nasty email to the administrator. I logged on and noticed in small print under my name it said pending premium status. Oh, now I understand, they have not received my payment from PayPal yet.

Day two and I logged on to the ClixSense site. Guess what? I had 380 ads waiting for me! Let me put it another way, $3.80 in my now premium account! It took me all night but I clicked on every single ad. It was just so exciting. Ok so they didn't give me 500 ads that day. But from then on, I get 5-8 ads per day and the money is going up faster.

Guess what else? I just got 350 ads today. I think it's some sort of rotation like 350 ads per month (premium members only) but of course there's no guarantee. While doing PTR, get used to reading fine print and the standard TOS (terms of service). If you want more detailed information on these terms, check out the handbook on my Home Page. I am not the kind of person who parts with my money but this was an experiment that paid off. ClixSense has my vote any day!

WINDOW JUMPING

You ever heard of the phrase Time is money? Well, this great tip is used to SAVE YOU TIME! The idea of PTR is to make as much money as possible in less time. The best way to accomplish this is by only signing up for programs that pay at least 1 cents. However, most of the programs that pay 1 cents make you wait over 30 seconds before getting credit. So, here is an example of what I call Window Jumping.

Although Englandbux pays 1 cents per email their hold time is 45 seconds (yikes). So while the Englandbux banner is loading, I click on four (4) Mysteremails (hold time 10 seconds). You have just completed two programs at the same time, way to go fellow PTR member! The trick to this tip is closing each window after getting the credit. That way your computer will not slow down with all those windows open. This is sorta like a fun game I call Beat The Timer! See, you can have fun doing PTR!

GET VIRUS SOFTWARE

Even with high speed internet access, I noticed since doing PTR my computer was doing weird things, a ton of pop ups and just plain slow. This software takes about 15 minutes to install but it's easy. I would be in the middle of reading emails when all of a sudden some celebrity in a bikini would pop up on my screen. There is also this program that puts spyware software on your computer that automatically downloads wallpapers based on your daily activity and searches. It took me forever to find the program and erase it from my hard drive. After downloading this virus software, all those problems stopped. Virus protection software to the rescue! Guess what's the best part? THE SOFTWARE IS FREE!!

And speaking of high speed internet, IF you are going to do PTR, get high speed internet. Yeah it's expensive but it will save you a ton of time and headache trying to read all those emails using dial up access. When you start making money doing PTR, it will pay for itself.

Another good tip for stopping the popup ads is by BLOCKING the websites. Most of the PTR programs use the same old ads so if you block the website once, you will not see the ads any more. Here is how to block the ads: when the ad pops up, RIGHT click on the grey menu bar showing the URL of the website. This should highlight the URL address, click on COPY. Close the popup ad which should take you back to the main window. Left click on Tools - Internet Options - Privacy Tab - Sites Button. RIGHT click on the Address of the Website Box to PASTE the URL of the popup ad, then hit the Block Button and then OK two times. It's a long process in the beginning but the popups will slow down.

Click on link to start downloading virus software:

http://www.download.com/3000-2239_4-10746390.html

GET ORGANIZED

Anyone have over 100 emails waiting in their inbox every day?
