We had the AEE convention in Vegas last weekend. I wasn’t signing this year, but I made the last minute decision to go. Although I never made it to the convention floor, because everywhere I went, I either knew someone, or took pictures with fans. So I spent the whole of Friday, from 4pm – 3am, talking to people! And you know what, I was so engrossed in conversation, that I didn’t even get drunk! And hey, it’s Vegas, your allowed to party and get out of control, but no, I kept it real, and still enjoyed every minute of the day, as exhausting as it was.

I eventually left the circle bar at the Venetian, to attend a party at Sushi Samba in the Palazzo right next door, which, when your wearing heels as high as mine were, and your getting lost on the way because there are no signs leading you anywhere, and the damn floors are all polished cobblestones, it was very intense.

So I took off my sexy heels and decided to risk it, barefoot. I had 3 different security guards walk me to the club, because I had left everyone behind, and each security guy was from a different section of each hotel, it was very funny, like they were pawning me off to one another. ‘Here, take care of Monica, she needs to get to Sushi Samba’. Lol.

So I eventually made it, at 2am, when everyone was just starting to leave! At 2.30am, I was so tired that I asked my friends to drive me back to my hotel. And on the way, we get into a car accident! I don’t know who’s fault it was, because to be honest, I was in the back seat, texting a friend and didn’t notice. The dumb biatch in the other car, decides to get the cops involved. WTF??? Who calls the cops when you get into a minor accident? All you need to do is exchange insurance and drivers license details, and that’s it!!!

So half an hour later, a cop on a bike arrives. Questions all of us, goes back and forth to his bike, typing in details on his little computer. Takes all our drivers licenses, and phone numbers, one by one, going back and forth, wasting time. An hour later, we’re still there! It was so ridiculous. In the end, nothing was resolved, other than, the insurance companies will be in contact with each other. OMG!!! So I eventually make it back to my hotel at around 5.30am. Wash off my makeup, and jump straight into bed.

Saturday, I had planned to go to the convention, but people kept texting me, warning me not to go in there, because it was so wall to wall packed, because they had crammed the stalls that they used to have on the lower levels, into the top level, where only a few porn companies had booths this year. Also, that the fans were very ‘gropey’, and it wouldn’t be a good scene. That’s when my kick-boxing skills come in handy! Haha!

So I picked up my awards show ticket and red carpet pass from my publicists’ assistant – thank you Lesley for fighting the crowds for me! And she kindly walked me back to my car, so I wouldn’t get mobbed on the way. I’m always happy to take photos with fans and talk to people, but when your in a hurry to go get ready for a strict time for the red carpet – you need someone to help you along.

I went back to the hotel to get ready. And because I had made a last minute, well actually, 30min shopping trip the day before Vegas, to get my dress, I was not impressed at all! I should have just stuck to my usual corset/rocker look, but instead, thought I would go all classy and sophisticated. I’ll leave it up to you to decide whether you like it or not, you can’t see the whole dress though, the bottom was cool, all slashed up, and the back was a sexy low cut V with cross spaghetti straps. I LOVE the color, but the bling didn’t stand out in the photos. But hey, it was last minute after all. Some girls went all out for their gowns, so I felt a little under-dressed in this outfit.

I went to the awards show with a few friends, and it was 12.30am by the time they had not even got a quarter of the way through with the show. My friends got impatient and we had to leave. So I didn’t even get to see if I won (which I didn’t). We went to a friends party at a bungalow in the Palms, then on to a strip club. Then back to my friends party, then back to our hotel. Why we didn’t go to any after parties, I’ll never know, but we were having a good time and really partying hard! Oh and yes, I got laid and it was so hot! A surprise visit from a friend in LA. I always seem to forget to write the parts that your all most curious about. Or do you prefer that I don’t fill you in on my sex life?

Sunday, I really paid for it, hardly slept, had to pick up my car, which, just my luck, needed a jumpstart, the valet guys were useless, AAA couldn’t find my membership since I didn’t have my card on me. And every other bastard would just take their car and leave, after over-hearing my situation, and seeing me freezing my ass off in a dress with no coat. In the middle of the day – makeup and hair all tousled! lol. Like I was supposed to look like that!

Some guys came by and said ’sup, I seen you in da movies, waz ur number?’, right, like I was really going to give any random guys my number and they didn’t even offer to help me, and they were interrupting me while I was on the phone to AAA. Eventually, these two big friendly bikers came to talk to me and offered to let me jumpstart from their car. So we went down and did that, which worked. FYI, don’t stereotype bikers people, I grew up with them and most really do have a heart.

I was on my way to pick up a friend who had been waiting for me since 9.30am (it was 4pm by this point). Lol. I had him drive because there was NO way I was going to deal with that. It felt like forever getting home. We stopped at the ‘Mad Greek’ which has the yummiest Gyro’s aside from Greece. Finally made it home by 9.30pm. Next time, remind me to FLY to Vegas!! Road trips are fun on the way, but coming home Suuuxx!

Now I’m trying to get back into my normal sleep pattern, which is tough when you’ve spent the whole weekend going to bed at 6am and only getting 4-5 hrs sleep.

I went to a psychic yesterday, because a friend said something to me, that sparked my interest, and I have just been offered a deal with a US publisher for my book, and needed to figure some things out. The psychic was spot on about everything in my life, and really made me think. So it seems that some very interesting things will be happening for me this year, and throughout the rest of my life! Either way, I will keep you all updated!

After spending a very long and delayed day of traveling, I got home, unpacked, and re-packed my outfits for my shoot – early the next morning. I wasn’t feeling well at all, I assumed I was just run down from all the traveling and bad weather. So I got myself up and ready, and went to work. It turned out really well, I shot with Cody Cummings for his website – and guys, if you look it up, he has a bi-sexual website so be warned! It was a great shoot, super hot! And we used condoms – which most of you know, I feel much safer doing that. I thought I had never worked with a bi-sexual guy before, but then I thought long and hard, there‘s been quite a few porn stars who shall remain nameless, that are also into guys! But it really doesn’t matter to me, each to their own you know. Hey, and more power to bi-sexuals, you get the best of both worlds!

After the shoot, I really started to get sick, and ended up having to re-schedule Wednesdays shoot. It was with Cody again, and he was very understanding about it. Gotta love professionalism! I can’t help that I have a cold and don’t want to spread it around. I spent all of Wed in bed, then couldn’t take it anymore, so I tried to convince myself I wasn’t sick by running a few errands here and there, cleaning the house etc… That did not help! All my close friends know that I cannot sit still for 5 mins, I can’t relax, I feel like I always have to be doing something.

Had a friend come round with a bottle of wine for me on Xmas eve – so of course we drank it, felt a little better. Lol. And spoke to my family in Australia via Skype, so jealous! Christmas day I spent catching up on things that I’ve been putting off because I’ve been too busy or distracted. So it was the perfect day to get a lot of work done. No distractions other the occasional Merry Xmas txt/email.

So right now, I’ve finished all I had to do on my to-do list today, which included alot of laundry and going through resumes and emails of prospective design partners for my lingerie line. Which I’ll be interviewing all week. Hopefully, I find someone great who is easy to work with, and we can get this done ASAP.

I’m off to go relax and watch a movie.
