An Importance Of Mobile Website...

Make more money with mobile website...

Mobile Website for fishandtips.smileblogger.com

Mobile websites are websites designed especially for viewing on mobile devices. Standard websites are designed for viewing on computers which have bigger screens, higher computational powers and faster internet connection. On the other hand, mobile phones lack in all these 3 aspects. Hence, a website designed for viewing on the computer cannot be used for mobile devices as well.

Is mobile website really important?
The answer, without doubt, is yes. Mobile devices are omnipresent these days. There are important statistics to support this.

Important numbers

Close to 90% of American adults own a cell phone.
About 30% check their bank accounts online.
One-fourth of total internet users use mobile devices as the only medium of accessing internet i.e. not accessing internet on PCs.
71% of users that come across an interesting AD or press release will do an instant mobile search.
An average smart phone user spends 30 minutes a day accessing mobile internet.

And with mobile internet getting quite cheap, there are huge numbers of users who have mobile devices enabled with net connection. Mobile devices could include your smart phones, iPads, PDAs, Tablets etc. Thus, if your website is mobile based, you are talking about reaching a huge customer base.

How can mobile websites be useful?
One of the main reasons why it is essential to have a mobile website is to increase your customer base. These days, youngsters spend a lot of time surfing on the net while they are travelling. If you do not have a mobile or a website that is too friendly on a mobile device, that will be a huge turn-off. It has been observed that users who have a good experience surfing the websites are inclined to visiting the website again on the computer. Hence, you should not lose on valuable customer base because you do not have a user-friendly mobile website.

If you are selling your products online, having a mobile website becomes of paramount importance. People are getting into the habit of shopping on the go. In today's world, buying necessary products online while travelling has been evolving as a convenient way of shopping. If you do not extend such facility to your customer base, they will soon switch to your competitor who has providing shopping facility over mobile devices. If you lose your customers to your competitors, it can be very detrimental to your business.

Also, a poor website surfing experience can damage the brand value of a company. Thus, even if you are providing good products or services, your user base may look down upon you if they are not satisfied with your website, thereby directly impacting your brand value.

How Appropriate Is Computer Gaming?????

2013-04-25T15:16:00.001+07:00

Computer Gaming Appropriateness

Computer Gaming World

Children spend at least 13 to 30 hours a week gaming. Most computer games are violent and aggressive and do little to inculcate moral values. Studies indicate that gaming results in aggressiveness and violent responses in children. And, children are less concerned and helpful towards their peers and families. They become socially stunted.

The onus of minimizing the effects and ensuring that children receive a rounded upbringing falls on parents. It is important to introduce character building activities and to censor games, ensuring suitability.

Study guidelines established by the Entertainment Software Board. They indicate suitability for different age groups. Read the content label which will summarize the game, this will serve as an appropriateness guideline.
Know your child. If you find any signs of being unsettled withdraw games that cause this change in behavior. Introduce games that titillate the imagination and make use of the mind. Avoid violence and aggression.
Visit www.1888FreeOnlineGames.com, www.ESRB.com this provides game ratings as well as reviews.
Rent a game and play it yourself. First hand knowledge will serve you well.
Communicate with other parents. You will glean the trends, know the popularity.
Play the games with your child. Know their reactions and learn their responses.
Establish an open relationship where your child becomes comfortable even talking about what is inappropriate or disturbing. Establish gently what is right and wrong. Bullying does not help.
Set up the computer and gaming console in a family room. All games will then be out in the open. You will be in a position to judge and monitor.
Feel free to contact the manufacturer and voice your opinion.
Study in detail the plus and minus points of computer usage.
Interact with your child at all levels.

Video game

Be a cautious buyer -question claims of advancing brain development.
Introduce a variable routine for your child. Outdoor activities interwoven with computer related activities.
Focus on social and emotional development. The child must be confident, curious, and forthright; display self control; be able to relate linearly, be caring and cooperative, and be communicative.
Choose games that are fun and have a degree of effective learning.
Introduce games that require two or more players-this fosters social interaction.
Playing games should be a privilege not a right. Emphasize that parental approval is a must.
Use games to maximize your child's interests. If the child is mechanical minded purchase games that encourage this talent.
Choose games that require decisions and strategies. Games should be more than shoot, blow up, destroy, and kill. Avoid killer machine games.
Explain why a game is not to be played. Never just take away a game. A child needs to understand why you are against playing certain games.

Gaming is a part of life. It introduces computer technology, problem solving, and logic. It improves motor as well as spatial skills. Games are not just entertaining, they can be therapeutic too. Choose wisely and guide your child.

The New Facebook Application...

2013-04-16T00:57:00.000+07:00

Facebook Home

Facebook has been a prevalent social networking platform for sharing photographs, connecting with individuals and also as a chat application. With its increasing popularity and a need to increase user engagement over the platform, Facebook has introduced its new smartphone application, Facebook Home.

It's a software suit that integrates with the architecture of the smartphone OS (till now only for Android Jelly Bean and ICS) and will be launched as an in-built application with HTC First on 12th April 2013. If referred to the words of Mark, Facebook Home will also be available on "HTC One, One X, Samsung Galaxy S3, Note 2, and the S4 after its launch".

Some of the features which can be speculated from the conference held at Facebook's headquarters yesterday are as follows:

Updates: A new update will be launched each month for the users to refine user experience. Updates will be based depending on user interaction with the application, which will be tracked for basic analysis. However, data from the same will be stored with absolute anonymity.

Facebook login page in 2004

Customization: Facebook Home can be operated in homescreen as well as in lockscreen for assisting users to access their account. However, users will still be able to customize their usage option; whether they want to use it on homescreen or lockscreen or both.

Navigation between apps: Though being a Facebook dominated phone, users will be able to navigate between the chat, apps and homescreen with simple taps. Message window pops up in front of a user and works equally efficient for phonebook messages as well. The feature is called as Chatheads.

User-oriented: Facebook home is oriented at increasing user experience over any other parameter. This is the reason that when a user turns on his mobile device, instead of peeking into the apps and email updates, he encounters his Facebook feeds from friends and groups.

Even after its availability as an in-built application, Facebook Home makes use of the user customization features efficiently. For a question asked during the conference by a reporter about the selection of search engine for making any search through the application, Mark replied "It's an Android Phone, you can use whatever you want". This clearly indicates that Facebook has not tried to over-power the openness of Android and has developed its "more than an app" around the same specifications.

The sad news about Facebook Home is that it will be available only on few Android devices specifically for AT&T users of USA, initially. Other users may have to wait for a while until the next announcement. Moreover, it's a "phone-only" app so no availability for tablet device can be expected yet.

A Spectacular Smartphone In The Market...

2013-04-08T16:39:00.001+07:00

A review on The Sony Xperia Z

Image of The Sony Xperia Z front and back

The Sony Xperia Z is a touchscreen enabled, full HD Android flagship high-end smartphone designed, developed, and marketed by Sony Mobile and it is a smartphone that can best be described as spectacular, with display specifications of 5 inches, 16 million colors and 1080p, the Google Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system, 1.5 GHz Quad core processor speed and water resistance capabilities.

The design is "OmniBalance", according to Sony, which is focused on creating balance and symmetry in all directions. Xperia Z has subtly rounded edges and smooth, reflective surfaces on all sides, which are held together by a skeleton frame made from glass fibre polyamide. The phone features tempered glass covered by shatterproof film on front and back.

It has all its ports underneath protective coverings, making your earpiece and other ports accessible only when the coverings are removed. This is done to enhance the water resistant capabilities of the phone. On the right hand side is the volume control and a unique power button positioned on a spot that is easily by the middle finger if its' in the left hand and by the thumb when on the right hand. It's also got a little but powerful loud speaker at the lower right region of the phone.

dust and water proof, allowing immersion under 1 metre of fresh water for up to 30 minutes

It is built with superior quality glass fiber poly-amide from back to front, the same material that is sometimes used in the production of automobile parts and is several times stronger than regular glass. Its screen technology is in a class of its own with 5 inch, 1080p display that is both responsive to touch and beautiful, making whatever is viewed on it a wonderful sight to behold.

Its got several home screens and themes presenting a wide variety of options to choose from and the lock screen comes with music and camera controls. The battery life is good but not as great as the rest of its features with an average of 6 to 7 hours on heavy use and has a power saving mode called power stamina that helps conserve its batteries.

All of these and more come packaged with the Sony Xperia Z. If you are in need of a high end phone with the best of expertise invested in it, then the Sony Xperia Z could be right for you.

iPad And Its Benefits...

2013-03-06T14:42:00.001+07:00

Some of the Best Things to Do With Your iPad...

Steve Jobs with an iPad.

From time to time, technology becomes more and more sophisticated. Starting from a computer that is too large, to gadgets that have internet access like the iPhone and iPad. iPad is one of the most sophisticated gadgets that exist on earth today. The features of the iPad are still very mysterious. This article will help you uncover all the wonderful things in your iPad.

You can adjust the settings so you can see more than a couple of lines from the emails in your inbox. Go to settings and then to mail, locate the preview setting. Change the setting to 5 lines. By doing this, you can see as much of an email as you want, which will speed up the process of viewing emails.

Want a manual for your iPad? You'll have to download it. It is the Apple policy to provide minimal paper and give you the choice of downloading a manual or not.

iPad underside

The preloaded apps that came with your iPad might not correspond to your needs. But some of these apps cannot be removed. Put these programs into a folder and move it to a location that is removed from where you typically spend your time. This will leave your home screen available for apps that you actually use regularly.

Do you ever need a quick screenshot? It is easier than you may think it is. Press the home button and the sleep button simultaneously to grab the shot. You'll see a flash, and there's your screen shot. Your iPad conveniently saves all screen shots automatically.

There is a copy/paste option from the iPad. Select the text you wish to copy after tapping the screen. When the text appears highlighted in yellow, you can select copy. Then you simply tap and click Paste.

Typing wearing you out? Instead of typing, just dictate. You can push the button for the mic on the keyboard and then just speak. The second click makes your words text.

There is an interesting way that you can turn off the sound on your device. Simply hold down the 'volume down' button for two seconds. This is much quicker than trying to adjust the volume over and over again. Hold it one more time to revert the volume.

You can now do a quick mute your iPad. When iPads were first out, there weren't any buttons on it specifically for mute. With the newer iOS, you can have the button on the side do this for you. Your iPad can now be quickly muted by holding the volume-down button down.

The third generation of iPad

If you plan to use your iPad to stream movies, play games or listen to music continuously, battery life may be shortened significantly. One of the ways you can extend the time your battery retains its charge is by adjusting the brightness of your screen. You can enjoy your iPad without requiring it to be on the brightest setting.

Screenshots are simple to take. Simply press both home and sleep together. These two buttons will save a screenshot of the devices current display and save it to a directory of your choosing.

If time is of the essence, avoid charging your iPad with an iPhone charger. Your iPad requires higher wattage to charge than an iPod does. When you're in a hurry, this will be a big deal. Stick with the charger sent with the iPad.

There is no doubt that we live in a time with innumerable technological options, from huge computer networks to the tiniest cell phone. The choices for connecting and communicating with others are endless. If you choose to use an iPad, you need to learn all about it.

iPhone 5 and its functions

iPhone 5

Why do so many people want to own the iPhone5? It must be something that others Smartphone don't have. I have done some research and found out that iPhone 5 has created great excitement amongst technology users. The big screen size is the best thing that attracted most users globally. There are many advantages of having a big screen; one of them is downloading gaming and creative apps. Searching for the latest available app specially designed apps for Apple iPhone5 is not an easy task. You need to be specific about apps that compliment the big screen of your phone.

Lets find out what are those apps...

Gaming apps

The best way to grab user attention towards a device is by launching Games. The most recent gaming app is Lili available for $5. The 3D graphics of this game is as amazing as a gaming console. This game is a role-play where of course Lili is the one you control. She is a young girl who is exploring an island that is magical. On her adventures, she would need to solve puzzles and tasks that will reveal more secrets about the island. The game is easy to play and character Lili can be controlled by just a tap and drag across the screen. The best part of this game is that kids and adults can equally enjoy playing it.

Another gaming app by the name of Superbrothers is available. This is a game that includes sword fights and sorcery. The graphics may disappoint you a bit as it seems to be a little outdated. You will have to indulge in sword fight combats and use magic to move ahead in the game. You will surely identify with Harry Potter here, so anyone who is a fan of the character will enjoy playing this game. Enjoy playing this game with a set of earphones to enhance the gaming experience as the soundtrack is awesome and it will keep you engaged for hours at a stretch.

We all love gazing at the starlit sky. Here is a game that will help you do that. Star Walk ($3) is designed to help you know the constellations. This way you can actually find out which constellation you are looking at. Just start mapping the sky through your iPhone camera and enjoy. The apps graphics will enable you to find out the names of the constellations that are in the sky at the moment. The added advantage is the bigger screen that helps you take a clear shot of the sky at one go.

Creative apps

The iPhone 5 has an impressive camera quality and features that enable in bringing out the best of image quality. Nonetheless, if you are more interested in creating something else out of it then download the Halftone app. This is a quirky app that allows a user to create a comic strip like dotted image out of any image and add speech bubbles to it. You can even add captions to your images this way. Bring out the creativity in you and create a funny little comic story out of your images. You can even create a quirky greeting for Halloween. As far as the special effects are concerned, you might be satisfied with the package that comes within the $1 deal. If you want more then opt for in-app purchase.

E Color Splash app is available for $1 is yet another picture creative app. With this app you can create a black and white effect upon your picture in a specific part while the rest of the picture is in color. This will help you create a special greeting for that special someone. You can even use other colors to highlight your image for festive fun. Use it for fun and enjoy the splash of creativity in your images.

These are just a few of the fun apps that are fun and simple to work with around kids. You will enjoy these, as they are easy to use even by kids.

Can Making Money Online Really Work????

2012-12-24T15:39:00.001+07:00

There are ways of making money online I can tell you from my own experience. It will pay you in a long run once you have established and started to work on it but it may not work for those who are looking for a quick cash or getting rich quick because this type of job will take some times. Some people make money within 2 year but others may take longer. But here is what you need to do.

First, you need to stop typing 'how to make online money' into Google, because ultimately that will see to it that you lose money and not make money. It's a bit like asking a competitor how you can be as good as he is...And what's more the information you need is free and you should never pay for it. I would certainly suggest that you do not ever pay anyone to show you how to make online money from selling e-books or manuals on the subject of how to make online money.Slowly slowly, catch monkey...

Ever heard that phrase? Take your time, this is not get rich quick, you are building a real business and that takes time, commitment and determined application. You need to focus on grabbing your visitor's attention. Taking cheapshots and using gimmicks to grab attention is a sure fire path to failure. The right sort of attention takes time, money and effort to cultivate and isn't easy to do with conventional SEO. It's also not really scalable.. There is a way to get the expensive attention. You need to figure out how and go do it.

Attention alone is not enough though... You need to focus on building trust. Trust is so important and a necessary ingredient in your recipe for online business success.Don't get caught up on the fact that what you are delivering is 'online'. It is still a real business. Create value and masses of it and your audience will love you for it. In fact, one of the best strategies is to give away some of your best stuff to build the trust that turns visitors into buyers. Your business online will take care of itself and be just fine as long as it is underpinned by a commitment on your part to deliver massive value at all times.

Give it time and don't burn your bridges. In other words... Don't quit your job, not yet at least! The great thing about an online business is that you can start small and build really big on part time hours and only a small financial investment.Build yourself up as the recognized expert in your chosen niche. Your online reputation is so important and needs to stand up in your audience's eyes. Narrow down and specialize in one specific niche. No niche is too small as long as you own it.You need to connect people to solutions to their challenges.

Create a track record that adds value to your online reputation on a daily basis.
Making offline money - The skill to effectively communicate the value of your offering in a face to face situation, will help you to do the same online. There is no magic online. Success comes from persistently applying tried and trusted strategies.

Give massive value and be the absolute best at what you do. Harder to do than say but necessary for success.

Build relationships with people who are committed to doing things the right way and not those looking for shortcuts. You can always learn from them.

Failure, some people win but most people fail as often you like but keep it cheap. The is one of the greatest gifts the internet has given people who want to make their way in business online. Start by making small amounts of money and then scale it up. You should use a funnel system will continually introduces your audience to higher ticket, higher value items.

Keep ahead of the game and try not to get sold on some idea that was big news yesterday because the big players will have milked that cow dry and moved on leaving you with little or nothing.Aim high and be focused at all times. Only work on things that are relevant to you and don't pander to other people's agendas.Educate yourself. Persistence is the key. Learn and master the necessary skills of online business owner.

Basic information about Bandwidth...

Bandwidth statistic

In computer networking and computer science, the words bandwidth, network bandwidth, data bandwidth, or digital bandwidth are terms that used to refer to various bit-rate measures, representing the available or consumed data communication resources expressed in bits per second or multiples of it (bit/s, kbit/s, Mbit/s, Gbit/s, etc.). This may sound too formal for a newbie to understand so, let me put it into a simple term.

Many new web site owners frequently ask the same questions about bandwidth: How does it work? How is it measured? Megabits or megabytes? Bandwidth usage is often a major component of a hosting agreement between the service provider, and you the customer. So it's safe to say obtaining a solid understanding of how bandwidth works is critical to making educated decisions about your web site!

Think of water flowing in a pipe and the possible measurements you could make. You could measure how fast the water is flowing through the pipe: Imagine putting a ping pong ball into the water, and measuring how long it took to get from one end of the pipe to the other. You could also measure how much water has flowed through the pipe, perhaps by directing the out flow into a bucket. Perhaps you also need water to flow back the way it came, so you have a pair of pipes, one with water flowing in each direction.

Sounds simple, right? In fact, the plumbing analogy is so similar to Internet connections that many people call it a pipe! Now let's explain how each of the measurements above now relate to bandwidth. Your service provider always measures bandwidth in terms of bit rate or transfer. In our plumbing analogy bit rate corresponds to the ping pong ball's speed, while transfer corresponds to water in the bucket.

Screenshot of home telephone bandwidth

In its smallest form Internet communication is broken down into bits, which are tiny on/off electrical signals (think of a bit as a drop of water). When your service provider measures a connection by bit rate they are monitoring how many drops of water flow through the pipe at one time, usually per second. As you might've guessed, there are lots of bits to measure even in one second so the measurement is usually scaled in tens of thousands (megabits) or hundreds of thousands (gigabits) per second.

Now, when measuring transfer (the bucket) your service provider will instead use "bytes". If a bit is a drop of water, a byte is about a teaspoon's worth. To be precise there are exactly eight bits in one byte. However even with this 8:1 ratio, there are still quite a few bytes to measure so it is scaled up to tens of thousands (megabytes) and hundreds of thousands (gigabytes) as well. Transfer is measured by how many bytes fit into your bucket. Note the difference! One measurement is the speed of sending information, while the other measures how much you've sent. If your water was flowing fast enough, you could possibly fill up your bucket in one day! However, if your pipe is too small and your water flows too slowly, you may not be able to provide enough water to all those demanding it (your web site's visitors).

Finally, some providers may combine "in and out" speed or transfer into one number, or instead measure them independently. The "in and out" bandwidth is identical to two pipes, one flowing in each direction. Your provider may sum the speed or volume of water moving in each direction, or only count one or the other.

Knowing these bandwidth basics can save web site owners money by buying only what they need, not what they think they need!

Do you own a smartphone with Android OS?

Screenshot of Android Version 2.3

In today's society if you mention the word smartphone, everyone knows what it is because almost every single person own one. I really want to know since we all use smartphone. Do we really know about an operating system that comes with the phone or what is the different between iOS and Android??? Do we know how to download an application to work with the phone?? Here is one good example of how to...

We all take plenty of pictures on our phones and there are times when we go ahead and delete a few to make more space especially if you have a small GB on you SD card. What will you do if you accidentally delete a wrong picture and you want to get it back? No need to worry or panic there's a way to recover pictures just as in the case of other mobiles.

Whenever you delete something from your Android Phone, whether it's a message, picture or something else; it's never permanently wiped off your phone. The data is actually stored until it's re-written upon.

Therefore, you should try to recover something the moment you realize that you're missing it. This would reduce the chances of you permanently losing it. The more you use your phone after you've deleted some data the harder would it be to recover this precious information.

If at all you don't know what needs to be done, it would be wise to contact someone who knows exactly what needs to be done. Until then, stay away from the phone as any small change that you make - even sending a message could over write the stored data.

Android 4.1 on Galaxy Nexus

Recovering the pictures or any other data that you lost from your phone is possible; but, it's not an easy job if you've never done it before. All you need to do is get yourself card recovery software.

Note that most of these software aren't free and you would have to pay a small amount to buy them. If you're lucky you'd find an amazing piece of software that's got a free trial period - you'd find quite a few on the Android Store. The reader reads your phones memory and gives you a list of possible lost files. You could pick the one you need if it's still there.

Using most of the common photo recover software

Most of the photo recovery software work the same way, let's take a look at what needs to be done in most cases:

1. First and foremost you would need to connect your Android phone to your computer

2. Launch the Photo Recovery Software or App and you would then see a sort of removable media on the main control panel.

3. Once the software/App is launched make sure to begin a scan of all your images, music as well as videos.

4. After the scan is completed you would get a list of lost and deleted pictures, music as well as videos.

5. Pick the ones you wish to restore and hit the Recover button.

That's it! You could find plenty of free recovery software - they may not be totally free; but, if you don't need it often you could always get back what you need during the trial period.

If you're looking forward to Recover Photos Android or Recover Photos Samsung it's really easy when you use the right apps.

The Apple App Store is a digital application distribution platform for iOS(previously iPhone OS) developed and maintained by Apple Inc. The service allows users to browse and download applications from the iTunes Store that were developed with the iOS SDK( Software Development Kit for iPhone OS) published
through Apple Inc.Depending on the application, they are available either for free or at a cost. The applications can be downloaded directly to a target device, or downloaded onto a personal computer (PC) or Macintosh via iTunes.

The App Store is accessible from the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad via an iOS application by the same name. It is also the only way to directly download native applications onto an iOS device without jailbreaking the device. Web applications can be installed on these devices, bypassing the App Store entirely, but they tend to have less functionality. The store is also accessible through iTunes, and then on any operating system for which iTunes is provided (Mac OS X and Windows).

To run an application on the iPhone, the application must be signed. This signed certificate is only granted by Apple after the developer has first developed the software through either the US$99/year Standard package or the US$299/year Enterprise package with the iOS SDK( Software Development Kit for iPhone OS).

Microsoft unveiled Windows Phone 8 (codename Apollo)

The main Windows Phone 8 user interface change that Microsoft is showing right now is its improved Start Screen. We're going to have three sizes of live tiles, small, medium, and large.Users will also get the ability to customize the size of every tile,
so each one can now be small, medium, or large and multi-core processors, backwards compatibility with Windows Phone 7 apps, improved support for removable storage (which now functions more similarly to how such storage is handled on Windows and Android), a redesigned home screen incorporating resizable tiles across the entire screen, Nokia Maps integration, a new Wallet hub (to integrate NFC payments, coupon websites such as Groupon, and loyalty cards), and "first-class" integration of VoIP applications into the core functions of the OS.

Additionally, Windows Phone 8 will include more features aimed at the enterprise market, such as device management, BitLocker encryption, and the ability to create a private marketplace to distribute apps to employees—features expected to meet or exceed the enterprise capabilities of the previous Windows Mobile platform. Additionally, Windows Phone 8 will support over-the-air updates, and all Windows Phone 8 devices will receive software support for at least 18 months after their release.

Multitasking in Windows 8

In the interest of ensuring it is released with devices designed to take advantage of its new features, Windows Phone 8 will not be made available as an update for existing Windows Phone 7 devices. However, a future update, Windows Phone 7.8, will backport select features from 8 to the previous OS, including its redesigned home screen. Launch partners include Huawei, Nokia, HTC, and Samsung. Other Windows Phone partners include Fujitsu, Acer, ZTE, and Lenovo. On August 29, 2012, Samsung announced the Samsung ATIV S, which is the first publicly revealed phone to run Windows Phone 8.

Malware for Android...

2012-08-14T19:55:00.000+07:00

Different types of malware for Android

With the smartphone industry growing larger every day, there is a growing concern for the security of data on said mobile devices. The power of these devices is always increasing, as is the amount of software that can be installed on them.

You should have some sort of idea on how to best protect yourself from loss or theft of your device and loss of any personal information from your device. With smartphones becoming more and more popular, more security issues will be sure to arise and smartphone operating system manufacturers will continue to adapt their operating systems to best combat these issues.

At some point, these mobile security suites may even be integrated into the operating system or pre-installed by your network provider.

Here are listing of malware for Android that you should be aware of;

Botnets? You're welcome. Back in December 2010 the specialists reported on the establishment of a botnet out of Android-based devices malware Gemini, which was included in an entirely legitimate applications published in the Chinese shops. In particular, this malicious program has features that allow you to load in the infected device other applications and delete them, send the geographic coordinates of the device, generate a list of installed programs on your device and send them to a malicious server.

Backdoors? Even as. In March of 2012 has spread malware Android.Anzhu, which spread through Chinese websites with free software for Android. The program allows attackers to literally control the infected device remotely. In particular, carry it commands sent from a malicious server, install other applications, as well as change the bookmark in the browser.

Spyware? Well, for mobile devices - is a "sacred thing". In particular, in the summer of 2011, according to the company's CA Technologies, spread malicious software, the functions which allow you to record telephone calls, produced by the device, AMR-files on the memory card. And about the vulnerability of access to information held on removable media, mobile devices running Android, we've already written above. It should be noted that telephone calls to intruders have more value than any text information that is stored on smartphones and tablets.

What about blocking the screen? Information on full-screen pop-up blocker, made in the form of programs for Android has not yet been met. In the course of a forecast that such programs will sooner or later. But at the same time, the attackers went through less tricky, introducing malicious scripts on the site. When opening web pages with similar scripts in the browser opens a dialog box in which the user is asked to send a paid SMS-message and enter the code to make this window disappear. At the same time helps to restart the browser, not in all cases.

RootkitRevealer

Rootkits? Bootkits? Yes, virus writers are ready to take this step in the application to mobile systems. In particular, the Trojan injects itself into startup DKFBootKit system in such a way that is loaded before the initialization of the operating system. This program works only in "rutovannyh" systems, ie users enjoy indulging in the field of information security devices, but at the same time, has the ability built into the system partition and replace a few basic tools, and system services running in the background, as well as a startup script system. The program then waits for receipt of further instructions from the command-and-control server attacks. That is, in fact, this program is a backdoor that has complete control over an infected device.

Do not forget about malware that secretly paid just send SMS-messages. But this is a classic of Android. Thus, in most cases, users do not realize why installed, for example, the game asks for permission to send SMS-messages. Probably the only type of malware that has not yet been distributed platform for Android - a file viruses, infects executable system.

However, for desktop operating systems, the spread of these types of malicious programs is gradually fading away in the form of writing, as well as the complexity of the organization to monetize them.

The Latest Information On An Android Application...

2012-07-17T19:50:00.000+07:00

Android 4.1 is the fastest and smoothest version of Android yet. We’ve made improvements throughout the platform and added great new features for users and developers. This document provides a glimpse of what's new for developers.Faster, Smoother, More Responsive.

Jelly Bean

For all developers:Android 4.1(Jelly Bean)Faster, Smoother, More Responsive.

Welcome to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean!(Part 1)

Android 4.1 is optimized to deliver Android's best performance and lowest touch latency, in an effortless, intuitive UI. To ensure a consistent framerate, Android 4.1 extends vsync timing across all drawing and animation done by the Android framework. Everything runs in lockstep against a 16 millisecond vsync heartbeat — application rendering, touch events, screen composition, and display refresh — so frames don’t get ahead or behind. Android 4.1 also adds triple buffering in the graphics pipeline, for more consistent rendering that makes everything feel smoother, from scrolling to paging and animations.

Android 4.1 reduces touch latency not only by synchronizing touch to vsync timing, but also by actually anticipating where your finger will be at the time of the screen refresh. This results in a more reactive and uniform touch response. In addition, after periods of inactivity, Android applies a CPU input boost at the next touch event, to make sure there’s no latency.

Tooling can help you get the absolute best performance out of your apps.
Android 4.1 is designed to work with a new tool called systrace, which collects data directly from the Linux kernel to produce an overall picture of system activities. The data is represented as a group of vertically stacked time series graphs, to help isolate rendering interruptions and other issues. The tool is available now in the Android SDK (Tools R20 or higher)

Enhanced Accessibility
New APIs for accessibility services let you handle gestures and manage accessibility focus as the user moves through the on-screen elements and navigation buttons using accessibility gestures, accessories, and other input. The Talkback system and explore-by-touch are redesigned to use accessibility focus for easier use and offer a complete set of APIs for developers.

Accessibility services can link their own tutorials into the Accessibility settings, to help users configure and use their services.

Apps that use standard View components inherit support for the new accessibility features automatically, without any changes in their code. Apps that use custom Views can use new accessibility node APIs to indicate the parts of the View that are of interest to accessibility services.

Android Browser and WebView
In Android 4.1, the Android Browser and WebViews include these enhancements:

Better HTML5 video user experience, including touch-to-play/pause and smooth transition from inline to full screen mode.
Improved rendering speed and reduced memory usage for better scrolling and zooming performance.
Improved HTML5/CSS3/Canvas animation performance.
Improved text input.
Updated JavaScript Engine (V8) for better JavaScript performance.
Support for the updated HTML5 Media Capture specification (the "capture" attribute on input type=file elements).

How to quickly repair your keyboard...

2012-07-09T03:04:00.000+07:00

Because of the low cost of keyboards, most often if a keyboard does not work, the best solution is to replace it. However, there are a few simple things you can do to repair a keyboard that is not working

Repairing computer keyboard

Troubleshooting an unusable computer keyboard

You don't always have to replace a keyboard when it is not working although the cost of it now is very inexpensive but why spend money when you don't have to.Simple problems can easily be fixed.

Here are a few symptoms:

A few keys don't work:

Remove the cap on the bad key and spray contact cleaner into the key well. Repeatedly depress the contact to clear it out. Don't use rubbing alcohol to clean the key because it will add residue to the contact.
If this method of cleaning solves the problem, then clean the adjacent keys as well
Turn the keyboard upside down and ban the key tops to dislodge debris

The keyboard does not work at all:

Troubleshooting keyboard

Is the cable plugged in securely?
Exchange the keyboard for known good one. If the problem is in the keyboard, if possible, swap the existing cable with a cable known to be good, perhaps from an old, discarded keyboard. Accomplish this task by removing the few screws that hold the keyboard case together, then unplugging the cable.Be careful as you work;don't allow the key caps to fall out!
For a keyboard proven to be bad, if the problem is not the cable, discard the keyboard.
If the problem is with the computer, consider the following; On the system board, the two chips that affect the keyboard functions are the keyboard chip and the ROM BIOS chip. You might choose to swap each of these chips on the system board. Otherwise the entire system board may have to be replaced

A major spill on the keyboard:

For major spills on the keyboard, thoroughly rinse the keyboard in running water. Give the board about two days to dry. You can speed up the process if you set it out in the sun or in front of a fan.

Always make sure that you laptop is with you at all times because if you leave it somewhere it is at risk of getting stolen or you may end up forgetting where you left the laptop. If you must leave the laptop somewhere, make sure it is a secure place like a safe.

6. Never use your laptop in a public space
If you are using laptop within a public place, this make the device more visible to opportunistic thieves. If you need to use your laptop in public, it is best to do so from a quiet place. It may help that laptop does not look very expensive.

7. Use bag straps
You will not be holding the laptop bag in your hand all the time. If your laptop bag has straps on it then when placing the bag on the floor it is good idea to place one of straps around your leg. This is because if someone tries to grab the bag then you have time to react. The other reason why you should put the strap around your leg is that you are now less likely to walk off and forget the laptop.

Finding games online is easy, but there are so many to choose from, it can be difficult to know which ones are best. You could spend a lifetime trying out every different one. For those who don't have so much time to spare, it may help to narrow your search.

Let's take a look at four of the most popular categories of fun games available online.

Action - Action games are fast paced adventures that require coordination and quick reflexes. These may also include elements of strategy, navigation and exploration, but the player's physical dexterity remains the central focus of gameplay. Common features of the action genre include various levels of gameplay, numerous enemies, and different character skills and weapons. Characters usually have a limited supply of health or "lives," which may be replenished by upgrades or "power ups" found throughout the game.

Fighting - Fighting games are a subset of the action category. The primary difference is that these revolve solely around the combat. These are fun games that generally portray hand-to-hand combat between two opponents. Fighting games may feature a wide range of characters, special abilities and settings. "Combo" attacks, knockouts and sometimes weapons or special attack techniques are characteristic elements of this genre.

Logic - Logic games are those that rely more on a clever mind than quick fingers. Puzzle, strategy and word games all fall under this category. Fun games involving logic may be timed, rewarding the player who can think fast. These are most often a single-player entertainment, although multi-player options do exist. Pattern recognition, mathematical aptitude and an understanding of physics may all play a role in different types of logic challenges. Hidden object and matching games are other popular types of puzzles.

Sports - Sports games are those that simulate real-world sporting competitions. From pastimes like baseball and football to extreme sports and even imaginary ones, sports games comprise a wide variety of physical challenges. Sports games often emphasize realism and may include advanced physics engines to accurately portray the movement of human bodies, as well as game equipment such as balls, bats or bicycles. Some feature real athletes or teams.
