If your child will turn five on or before December 2nd, 2010, then he or she can attend Kindergarten in the fall of 2010. Parents, if you live in the Mammoth Unified School District, please bring your child to Mammoth Elementary School to find out when and how to enroll your child in Kindergarten, meet the Kindergarten teachers, sign up your child for a pre-Kindergarten Assessment, and find out about the Free Summer Bridge Program!

2) Oral health risk assessments and targeted counseling during pre-natal visits,
3) Mother/caretaker interviews and anticipatory guidance,
4) Population-specific oral health outreach tools, including written guidance for prenatal women (self-care & infant care),
5) Oral hygiene, fluoride, and nutrition practices that promote oral health

The training consists of instruction and clinical training:
How tooth decay develops
Fluoridation (topical vs. systemic)
Oral hygiene and diet
Presenter:  Nancy Reifel, DDS, MPH, of the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Dentistry, Division of Public Health and Community Dentistry.

This course is open to all.  Typical participants include:  community outreach workers; staff who provide center- based and home visitation services; nurses and clinical support staff; and others who work with young children.
