Ninel Conde, born in 1970, in Toluca, is a Mexican singer, actress, and model. Conde studied at the Centro de Arte y Teatro Emilia Carranza and workshops of Sergio Jiménez and René Pereira. After her studies Conde worked on Televisa, and with Bajo el Mismo Rostro (1995), Luz Clarita (1996) and on TV Azteca with Catalina y Sebastián (1999) and Como en el cine (2001). In addition to telenovelas, Conde has participated in several television shows such as Al Derecho y Al Derbez, Lo Que Callamos Las Mujeres, Gente con Chispa, El Gordo y La Flaca, Sábado Gigante, among others. Her career as an actress has been mostly on television but Conde also appeared in the film Mujeres Frente al Espejo in which she shared credits with other major actresses, such as Silvia Pasquel, Gabriela Goldsmith and Isaura Espinoza, under the direction of Sergio Jiménez.



Conde was awarded the Sol de Oro for the telenovela Catalina y Sebastián, as Best New Actress and the Palmas de Oro for Mujeres frente al Espejo. In 2003, Conde released her first album titled Ninel Conde which contains the single "Callados" on which he sings with Jose Manuel Figueroa her boyfriend. This album contains songs of Joan Sebastian (father of Jose Manuel Figueroa), Fato, Roberto Libi and Kiko Campos. This actress and singer, who admires Angelica Aragón, Maria Felix, Demi Moore and Meryl Streep, has also participated on 7 mujeres, 1 homosexual y Carlos (2004) directed by René Bueno and co-starred by Mauricio Ochmann (from Como en el cine).

 

In 2004, Conde participated in the third edition of the reality show Big Brother VIP, and was voted-off after 43 days of confinement. In October of the same year she began acting on Rebelde produced by Pedro Damián. That same year she broke up with Jose Manuel Figueroa and is rumored to be dating millionaire politician, boxer and businessman Jorge Kahwagi. Though her most powerful role has been as Alma Rey in Rebelde (2004-2006). In that role she expanded her career from the Chile, to Romania , Africa and Australia in which the telenovela appeared.

In 2006 Conde began appearing on the American dramedy series Ugly Betty where she portrays an actress on a 'faux' telenovela that is seen by the main character's family. In 2008, she played the character Rosario Montes in Fuego En La Sangre alongside Adela Noriega and Eduardo Yañez. On August, 2009 Ninel confirms to appears in Mexican telenovela Mar de amor as Coral (main-villain of the story), the telenovela was produced by Natalie Lartilleux. Conde is expected to release her untitled new musical project by 2011.

Raised in Dayton, Ohio, Rob Lowe began his career at the age of 8 in local television and summer stock. After his family relocated to Los Angeles, he starred in the television series “A New Kind of Family” and was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance in Hallmark Hall of Fame’s “Thursday’s Child.” In 2001 Lowe received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his work on the three time Emmy Award winning drama series “The West Wing.”

He then starred in “Masquerade,” “Bad Influence” and the comedy smash “Wayne’s World” with Mike Myers, as well as “Tommy Boy.” Lowe also appeared in “Mulholland Falls” with Nick Nolte and in Robert Zemeckis’ “Contact” with Jodi Foster and Matthew McConaughey. He recently re-teamed with Myers in the huge box-office hit “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.”

Lowe starred in the miniseries “Stephen King’s ‘The Stand’” and “Atomic Train,” as well as Jack Higgins’ bestseller “On Dangerous Ground” and “Midnight Man.” He also appeared in “Great Performance’s ‘Suddenly Last Summer’” for PBS and Francis Ford Coppola’s television production of “Outrage.”

In 1992, Lowe made his Broadway debut in “A Little Hotel on the Side.” He recently wrote and directed an acclaimed short film for cable television, “American Untitled/Desert’s Edge.”

Michael Fassbender, born in 1977, in Heidelberg, Germany, is a German-born Irish actor, best known to international audiences for playing Lt. Archie Hicox in Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds".

Fassbender had many minor roles in various TV shows but his first major film role was as Sergeant Burton P. Christensen in Steven Spielberg's "Band Of Brothers", which lead to parts in the BBC's "Gunpowder, Treason and Plot" as Guy Fawkes, Canadian movie "A Bear named Winnie" and "Sherlock Holmes" and the "Case of the Silk Stocking", to name but a few.

Fassbender's most notable role though, is that of fallen angel Azazeal in Sky One's supernatural drama "Hex".

His other credits include playing Zack Snyder epic film "300" in which he plays Spartan soldier Stelios and the 2008 film "Hunger", in which he played Bobby Sands.

Summer Glau, born on July 24, 1981, in San Antonio, Texas, is an American dancer and actress, best known for her role as River Tam in the short-lived science fiction series Firefly and follow-up movie Serenity. Glau was classically trained as a ballerina and also studied tango and flamenco. A professional dancer since age 12, Glau relocated to Los Angeles in 2002.

Glau appeared in a few television commercials, but Glau's first television credit was a guest role as a ballerina on the 2002 episode "Waiting in the Wings" of the television series Angel. There she caught the eye of producer Joss Whedon, who later cast her in Firefly as River Tam. Glau appears on the episode "Love Conquers Al" of the TV series Cold Case. She has a small role in the film Sleepover, in which she plays a high school senior named Shelly. Summer appeared in the CSI episode "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?", and the second season of The Unit; portraying Crystal Burns, the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart.

Glau plays Tess Doerner, a paranoid schizophrenic returnee in the second season premiere of The 4400, and the season three episodes "The Ballad of Kevin and Tess", "Terrible Swift Sword" and "Fifty-Fifty". Her character has the power to compel people to do whatever she wants. Glau stars in the science fiction film, Mammoth, which was filmed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, U.S., and Bucharest, Romania.



Glau was voted Best Actress of 2005 by readers of SFX magazine for her portrayal of River Tam in Serenity. Glau also won a 2006 Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress in Serenity and was runner up for Best Actress/Movie in the SyFy Genre Awards for 2006. Glau was cast in a TV movie on ABC Family called The Initiation of Sarah. In The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a series that debuted in 2008, and ended in 2009, Glau played the role of Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration unit sent back to protect John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet.

Rapper, record producer and singer, Kanye Omari West is born in Atlanta, Georgia (USA) in 1977. His parents divorced when he was three and he is raised on Chicago's South Side by his mother, an English professor, and spent summers with his father, an award-winning photographer who became a church counselor.

West graduated from Polaris High School and completed one year of art school at Chicago State University. After spending time rapping and working with local artists, West moved to New York in 2001 to pursue his music career full time. Respected rapper Jay-Z hired him to produce songs for his album The Blueprint, which sold more than 420,000 copies in the first week alone. West went on to produce for a handful of stars including rapper Ludacris and singer Beyonce.

While serving as producer to the stars, West cut his own demo and began shopping it around. He signed a deal with Roc-A-Fella Records, Jay-Z's label, in 2002 and began recording in the studio. The album, which was released in 2004, sold 2.6 million copies and earned him a Best Rap Album Grammy. He matched that feat with 2005's Late Registration and 2007's Graduation. West put out his next albums, "808s & Heartbreak", in 2008 and recently 2 others, on the same day two albums "Good Morning Good Night: Dusk" and "Good Morning Good Night: Dawn".

In the mean time, Kanye West became a worldwide symbol of trendyness! He debuted in 2009 the line of shoes he designed for the luxury goods brand Louis Vuitton. He engages in a number of charitable activities as well. Founded by his mother in 2007, he supports the Kanye West Foundation, which works to reduce the number of high school dropouts.

Born in 1979 in England and raised in Australia, Sophie Monk dreams of becoming an opera singer before a reality show changed the course of her destiny. That show was the Australian version of Popstars, and when Sophie heard the program was auditioning members for an all-girl band in 1999, she put aside her classical ambitions and hopped in her car. Luckily, the show's judges liked what they saw and Sophie was invited to join the newly christened "Bardot".

Thanks to Popstars' immense marketing push, the group's self-titled debut went multi-platinum and was followed by a successful sophomore effort that included catchy hits like "ASAP" and "I Need Somebody." After a couple of years of touring and hundreds of personal appearances, Bardot eventually decided to split in 2002.
