2011 CMA Awards: a roundup of fashion-gone-wrong

It's hard to tell who came first- the chicken or the egg.
It's equally as hard to tell when it comes to country music and bad fashion.

Last night's CMA awards were no exemption, the red carpet was aglow with ruffles, sequins, and shiny everything. Take a look at our top picks for the Three We Loathe- (which by the way, is actually 6 this time because there were just too many bad ones to choose from)

Now don't get me wrong- I am a big fan of country music, but this was the worst showings I've seen in a long time. Who are these fashion offenders, you ask?

On the other end of the spectrum we did have some favorites.

The country crooners each have a unique style, but their looks are put together and polished. Although I'm not crazy about Faith Hill's hair style, her all-white ensemble is so eye catching that I couldn't resist choosing her as a Three We Like winner.

New Tape-In Hair Extends at MHD

These extensions are sweeping the industry by storm, and offer unique qualities not found in other methods. The hair is hand sewn to a 'tape' strip made of flexible and soft plastic. The strip is then trimmed into the perfect size for the application area, and is installed using a keratin adhesive. Two pieces are 'sandwiched' together, with your natural hair in the middle, giving a very secure hold.

This application is unique because the hair is reusable even after it's been removed. The hair remains in tact with the tape strip, and can be reinstalled using new adhesive. As long as the hair itself remains in good condition the pieces can be reinstalled up to four times. Maintenance appointments must be done every 6-9 weeks, to re-tighten and adhere the sections.

A consultation appointment and a down payment for the cost of the hair must be scheduled at least 7 days prior (allowing for shipping time) to the installation appointment. At this time you can discuss the details of extension maintenance, and any other questions you may have. Our hair is 100% Human and is European Quality, and rates very highly on the quality spectrum.

Cost for initial installation and hair ranges from $500-700, depending on the amount of hair you require. Maintenance appointments (including removal) - $50/ hour

The best candidates for any type of hair extension have natural hair at least chin length or longer.
