We used to have surround sound. Many houses ago. Now Hubby just turns on the large subwoofer and rigs up his speakers if he is watching an action movie that needs loud sound. Loud movies aren't really my thing, but music is! The boys and I grab a musical or put on one of our favorite cd's when we clean. Cleaning and dancing go very well together! It was nice to have that surround sound as we could hear it easily anywhere in the house.

One item that would be really cool to have now is the Lenovo speaker with built-in amplifiers and a sub-speaker. Small in size, but large in sound. I can take it to whatever device my music is on. I already have a few ideas for it!

~ The boys could use it in their room to hook up to the desktop computer. Their games would have the best sound effects!

~ I love listening to the radio on my laptop. Now having the option for it to be heard in the other room is fantastic!

~ My smartphone has all my music favs. A speaker would be a wonderful addition!

I’m a beach girl. Did you know that?

I’ve never been lucky enough to visit Virginia Beach, but I have heard from many great friends that it is an awesome place!

I’ve researched some fun and exciting things that you can do while there. Many of us have young kids so I’ve tried to find the places that the whole family would LOVE!

Capt. Jack’s Pirate Ship Adventures ~ join the gang on a sea adventure to find some treasure! As a family full of boys, pirates are all around me. Ahoy!

Dolphin Watching Boat Tours ~ I’ve lived on the coast for almost four years now and I have never done this! My middle child’s favorite animal is a dolphin and his birthday is coming up. Doesn’t it sound so fun?!

 State Parks ~ are you a camping family? Camp on the ocean, go hiking along the bike trails, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. My Hubby wants an RV so bad! Me? I’m a luxury hotel girl. (VB has lots of those to choose from too!)

Hunt Club Petting Farm ~ you can chase a chicken, feed a goat, or moo with the cows! LOTS of animals to see. Bring your hand sanitizer!

Surf Camps ~ I’ve always wanted surf! Do you think it’s to late? Take your whole family to camp and bring the camera!

The Cape Henry Lighthouse ~ built in 1792 you can climb to the very top! Get your hiking shoes on!

Virginia Beach Amusement Park ~ Test your courage on the Skyscraper, the world class thrill ride. You’ll soar 165 feet at 65 mph. This ain’t no porch swing! ha!

Want to stay indoors at of the hot sun? Visit the Aquarium to get up close with the seals, sea turtles, and sharks! We loovvve aquariums at our house and I bet Virginia Beach has one of the best!

Have I given you a glimpse of all that you can do?

I haven’t even begun to tell you about the yummy local restaurants ~ fresh seafood, pizza, or authentic Mexican? So much to choose from! Vacation is for splurging.

Or shop til you drop at the many shopping malls and variety of specialty stores. Grab a souvenirs for the whole family!

I can promise you one thing ~ you will not be bored!
