<p>Here are some highlights from a few of the brands that was present:</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://www.nike.com" target="_blank">Nike</a> Turkey gave a presentation on Human Race 10K from last year. Mobile was one of the most used channels for promoting and making people sign up for the race</li>
<li><a href="http://www.coca-cola.com" target="_blank">Coca-Cola</a> presented various cases from around the world. Key message from senior mobile marketing manager Hinde Pagini - Our customers have already gone mobile  - we just have to be there.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.bmw.com/" target="_blank">BMW</a> and their head of Digital Mr. Marc Mielau was there to show some new cases (among them an Iphone app - of course). Besides that he talked clear language on how important it is to use the mobile to interlink your different channels. &#8220;I prefer 270 degrees interlinked rather than 360 degree integrated campaigns&#8221; he said.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.lufthansa.com" target="_blank">Lufthansa</a> was there to show how mobile now plays an important role in the whole customer process. Booking of Flights, Check In, Boarding pass and info at arrival - all now handled even in the mobile channel. See also Lufthansa 8 Golden rules of Mobile</li>

<p>Among the traditional advertising Agencies Thomas Strerath, CEO of Ogilvy Group Germany was there to give some remarks on mobile from a brand perspective.  His message was that brands have to entertain and tell stories - mobile make you come close so you better be relevant. He also stressed the point of knowing your goal for your mobile campaigns. This cannot be downloads and clicks - there&#8217;s gotta be something more&#8230;</p>

For a new release targeted towards the youth segment, Svensk Filmindustri chose a somewhat different way of marketing the movie than the traditional trailers at the cinema. <span id="more-799"></span>The media that got the youth involved was definitely the mobile phone.</p>
<p>More created a mobile campaign site for SF Films latest movie release &#8220;<a href="http://www.sf.se/filmer/film/16002670/Prinsessa" target="_blank">Prinsessa</a>&#8221; where visitors could read about the movie, the actors and the director as well as watch funny movie clips and trailers, read reviews and download wallpapers, music and ringtones.</p>
<p>An exclusive competition was also included on the site where visitors had the chance to win a trip for two to Hollywood. And to make it possible for visitors to publish its own views about Prinsessa on the mobile site an integration to Twitter was made.</p>
<p>Prinsessa is a heart-warming drama-comedy about overweight 18 year old Maja, whose size makes it difficult for her to be socially accepted and to make her biggest dream come true - to become an actress. However, an aspiring documentary filmmaker notices Maja&#8217;s comic talent by mistake, while shooting a wedding, and things start to move in the right direction.</p>
<p>The mobile site for Prinsessa was promoted with ads in ELLE, Veckorevyn and in the Stockholm subway. Trailers on Swedish TV3 and an MMS-push (also produced by More) to Telia customers in the target group have also communicated the mobile site.</p>
<p>With help from supporting media and exclusive content SF Film have put a lot of focus on the mobile site and this way increased the value for the potential visitor. Through the mobile channel SF is able to communicate to each individual and give time critical offers like free movie tickets.</p>

<p>More has designed a wide range of mobile services for the event. The purpose of these mobile services is to enhance the information level and to involve the delegates. The mobile services consist of a mobile site, an SMS news service, SMS polls and a Bluetooth download zone.</p>
<p>The mobile site contains information about the program, the speakers, the participants, the SMS news service and practical information.<br />
The participants who signs up for the news service will receive messages before, during and after the event. The participants will be invited to participate in a numbers of SMS polls and in the Bluetooth zone it is possible to download wallpapers, sound clips and videos and participate in competitions. MORE will also have a physical mobile service desk during the event so that any possible questions can be answered.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="preamble">Scandinavian summer is here - as unpredictable as the advertising landscape seems these days. “<a href="http://www.pwc.com/extweb/home.nsf/docid/0879D8B0FEB5E68A852575D40067A86D" target="_blank">We are seeing a burning platform full of opportunities</a>” says Marcel Fenez, Global Director of Media and Entertainment in PWC.<span id="more-759"></span> “Market will recover in 2010 but some channels will never get back to where it was – migration towards digital will go faster as a result of this recession” he continues. Well that’s at least good news for us representing the most untapped digital channel of them all&#8230;</p>
<p>Anyhow these types of predictions are worthless compared to what you – our customers – actually are thinking and doing. In case of the mobile we have seen big gaps between predictions and actuals throughout the years. So why is that?</p>
<p>My answer to that complex question is that we –the mobile marketing agencies – have not yet come through with the true value proposition of mobile.</p>

<ul>
<li>Guide and Direct your customers between your touch-points</li>
<li>Increase number of touch-points during your campaign (everywhere, anytime remember!)</li>
<li>Increase length of campaign (attractive applications stays in your phone “forever”)</li>
<li>Make call to action when time and place is right (Context is King!)</li>
<li>Ask for permission for dialogue beyond the campaign (Build opt-in base for future loyalty activities)</li>
<li>Measure impact and results - even non digital channels can be measured by using mobile response and tracking</li>
</ul>
<h2>So how can we make this happen for your next campaign?</h2>
