‘Ek Thi Marium’ is a telefilm that can truly be considered as a Defence Day special and with names such as Sarmad Sultan Khoosat, Umera Ahmad and Sanam Baloch associated with the project, the venture would be a spell-binding biopic for sure. Tribute to the daughter of this soil, the biographical film revolves around the ambitions and struggles of a true patriot.

Sanam Baloch portrays the true national hero, the only female fighter pilot to have embraced martyrdom on 24th November 2015. With some of the marvelous projects under her belt, we can expect that Umera Ahmad was the best choice for penning down this exquisite tale. Moreover, Sarmad Sultan has made it a habit to steal the show with oh-so impressive projects the moment he comes into the limelight.

The trailer revolves around the dreams of a Pakistani woman who aims to be a pilot. In an excerpt, it reveals the hardships that Marium confronts in pursuing her dreams.

As the biopic highlights PAF pilot Marium Mukhtiar who embraced martyrdom when her fighter jet crashed late last year that is why the audience would love to know everything about her life through this venture.

Noor Bukhari back as HUM TV host for JPJ in the absence of Sanam Jung

Jago Pakistan Jago's host, Sanam Jung is getting married and hence is on a two week leave from the show. In her absence, Noor Bukhari has come back as the show as a host. She started hosting the show from today and will continue to do so till two weeks. Hum TV spokesperson Syed Minhas Saghir confirmed HIP about it. (Noor Bukhari was actually the morning show host for HUM TV 4 years ago)

“As Sanam Jung has taken a leave for her wedding we have brought Noor Bukhari as her replacement. She will host the morning show for the coming two weeks,” he said.

Wearing an ivory gown with black embellishment, she warmly welcomed the guests early this morning. In her casual conversational style she entertained the audience and received flower bouquets by the kids at the beginning of today's episode.

Sanam Jung had introduced Noor Bukhari as the interim host of the show last week when she made the announcement about her wedding.

This is not the first time that Bukhari has taken a hosting seat. She began her morning show host career almost four years ago from Hum TV. She also hosted A-plus morning transmission for quite some time and was the host of the Ramadan transmission of state run television PTV earlier this year.
She also hosted a celebrity based talk show on Samaa TV for a few months. The actress has recently wrapped up shooting of her much awaited feature film Ishq Positive opposite Wali Hamid Ali of Raga Boyz fame.

Azfar Rehman and Ayesha Omar injured in car accident near Karachi

Pakistani actors Azfar Reham and Ayesha Omar met a deadly accident on Friday around 5am at Super Highway on their way from Karachi to Hyderabad.

According to our correspondent, they are out of danger but are heavily injured. Ayesha has broken her leg while Azfar is wounded. Their car,however, has badly crashed in the accident.

The duo who are best friends have been transferred to a private hospital and are currently under treatment. Pakistani singer Fakhr e Alam also informed that the two had suffered multiple fractures but both were conscious and on the way to recovery.
