MortgageRefinance.com is a premier online destination for consumers to compare mortgage quotes from quality lenders while saving money on monthly mortgage payments.

Los Angeles, CA With rates hitting historical lows, the mortgage refinance market is heating up. Consumers scouring the Internet for the latest mortgage news and rates finally have the ideal, one-stop solution thanks to the launch of MortgageRefinance.com.

Unveiled on May 31, 2010, MortgageRefinance.com is a premier online destination for consumers to compare mortgage quotes from quality lenders while saving money on monthly mortgage payments. This leading mortgage hub offers expert advice and information about mortgage refinance, home equity loans, HELOCs, new home purchase loans, credit cards and certificate of deposit rates. The site features a gaggle of superior lenders located across the country allowing borrowers to seek mortgage loan refinancing in their hometown.

Comparing rates, and lenders is a snap at MortgageRefinance.com. After the borrower describes their needs, they are matched with up to four qualified local lenders and brokers who offer competitive rates and products--obtaining a mortgage has never been easier.

Plus MortgageRefinance.com guests can use the myriad of interactive mortgage calculators to assist with decision making. From calculating the most affordable mortgage to deciding between a second mortgage loan or PMI; MortgageRefinance.com offers a mortgage calculator to meet every mortgage need.

Unlike other mortgage refinance websites, MortgageRefinance.com offers “hot off the press” articles and financial guides to assist the borrower every step of the way. Because mortgage interest rates and regulations are a fluid business, the experts at MortgageRefinance.com stay abreast of changing rates and regulations to deliver up-to-the-minute news and information in one convenient location.

In addition to the typical mortgage loan refinance information, MortgageRefinance.com offers the latest financial advice and direction on topics such as debt settlement, debt consolidation and debt relief. MortgageRefinance.com has drilled down, detailed information targeted to the individual’s specific state and town because rules and regulations differ in every part of the country.

The site also offers an intensive section dedicated to CDs (certificates of deposit), money markets and savings accounts because the experts at MortgageRefinance.com know that assets are a major part of the mortgage refinance decision making. In addition to comprehensive deposit guides and the most recent news, consumers can obtain current rates and terms for deposit products from local leading lenders.

Insidr Helps When Big Company Customer Service Can’t or Won't

Insidr (http://www.insidr.com) is launching today public beta of a independent customer service marketplace that connects frustrated customers to people who have worked in big companies and are willing to help when the company can't or won't.

Insidr (http://www.insidr.com) is launching today public beta of a independent customer service marketplace that connects frustrated customers to people who have worked in big companies and are willing to help when the company can't or won't.

Unlike most question and answer sites, the people providing answers work or have worked inside the big companies, so they're better at cutting through red tape and getting answers to difficult problems. Unlike corporate customer service, the "insiders" work independently to earn rewards and points from customers. That means candid, unscripted help is available from engineers and other experts in a way that's discouraged in traditional channels.

"We started Insidr because we felt frustrated and helpless when we had to call customer support. We decided to find a better way," said Antony Brydon, CEO and co-founder of Insidr. "Our ultimate goal is to help customers and employees rewrite the rules of business, making it less about policy and politics and more about solving problems, helping each other and getting things done."

Insidr lets customers post an online question and, optionally, offer a reward. The insiders offer help and earn the reward only if the customer is satisfied. Insiders can also earn award points for helpful answers.

Because insiders only earn rewards if they help, the customers' interests and theirs are perfectly aligned.

Insidr has been in private testing mode for 10 months. At public beta launch, 1,280 insiders offer support for nine companies: AT&T Wireless, Bank of America, Comcast, DirecTV, Dish Network, Sprint Network, Sprint Nextel, T-Mobile, United Airlines and Verizon. A typical question receives several answers within 30 minutes for an average reward of .

Examples of helpful answers include the following:

Bank of America insider helps a woman get a new mortgage loan officer

T-Mobile insider helps customer get a full refund instead of an account credit

Dish Network insider helps customer avoid early termination fee.

Also starting today, a new feature lets you use Facebook "like" votes to elect a company to add to the support list.

Insidr was founded by Antony Brydon, Jeff Patterson and Jean Tessier, who launched ShopWell out of IDEO in 2010. Insidr is backed by 0,000 in seed funding from True Ventures and prominent individuals including: Gil Penchina, an early investor in LinkedIn and Evite and recent commissar at Wikia.com; Karl Jacob, CEO and co-founder of Keen, Ingenio, and Coveroo; Brian Witlin, IDEO entrepreneur in residence and co-founder of ShopWell; and Samer Hamadeh, founder & CEO at Vault.com and Zeel.com.

Financial Success Institute Announces it has Formed a Panel to Study the Real Estate IRA and Report Back its Findings

The Real Estate IRA may be the right alternative for today's middle class investors. The vast majority of Americans have no chance of building a sustainable retirement account when they invest with Wall Street. The Real Estate IRA Strategy is being touted as a wealth-building alternative. The Financial Success Institute aims to find out if the real estate IRA is a worthwhile option for investors with retirement funds.

Is the real estate IRA a worthwhile alternative to stocks, bonds and other traditional IRA investments? The Financial Success Institute, an organization dedicated to helping Americans retire through more actively managing their savings, announced today that it has convened a panel to research the subject and make a determination on the suitability of the real estate IRA for the majority of investors.

CEO and Managing Director of the Institute, Richard Geller, said today, "Real estate values have fallen as much as 46% in the United States. People hoping to retire are looking for good value from real estate via the real estate IRA. We aim to find out if the real estate IRA is worthwhile for retirees who understand the risks and who are willing to be more active using a real estate IRA they control.”

Geller said that "Wall Street has offered very low returns since 2000 and 2011 is delivering more negative returns. According to our studies, stocks have fallen 42% on an inflation adjusted basis since 2000. Yet, investors are now finding they can purchase real estate to rent out or sell it on a note for very substantial cash flow. Can this cash flow be funneled into a real estate IRA or real estate 401K? We are going to investigate and make a recommendation for our subscribers."

The Financial Success Institute said it's investigating whether the real estate IRA is fit for many investors. If so, the real estate 401K may even be a better fit.

“The real estate IRA has some real advantages,” Geller said, “at least in theory. Cash flow and profits compound in a tax deferred vehicle and are available at retirement. But a real estate 401K may even be better.”

According to Geller, a real estate IRA may empower investors by circumventing the conflicts of interest existing at every level on Wall Street.

Geller said, “Your financial planner won't offer a real estate IRA. They only offer financial products they profit from. Ask your financial planner about a real estate IRA strategy and they will tell you either they know nothing about it or it can't be done. That's why the Financial Success Institute is investigating the real estate IRA.”

Richard Geller warns everyone that will listen "One of the themes we repeat all the time here at the Financial Success Institute is to think for yourself and to look outside of Wall Street for your financial wellbeing. We will find out for our subscribers if a real estate IRA is a viable alternative because Wall Street has no interest in this research."

Geller goes on to say "Alternative resources other than the real estate IRA or real estate 401K includes information about Should you consider a real estate IRA or are there better options."

“The Occupy Wall Street movement makes a very good point about the 1% controlling 42% of our wealth. However, the real estate IRA and other strategies may provide Americans with methods that take back control of their financial future starting today.”

Geller said that the Financial Success Institute has convened a panel including a well-known tax attorney and a pension consultant of national renown. “We are coming to some pretty interesting conclusions about the real estate IRA,” Geller said. “These will be released shortly in the form of a free Special Real Estate IRA Report.”

Geller believes that the real estate IRA or perhaps the real estate 401K may allow individuals to own residential rental properties, high quality mortgage notes, and even apartment buildings.

“The question is, can a real estate IRA invest in almost any asset an individual believes will earn a sustainable profit and is a prudent way for people to invest their retirement? If so, who should think about opening a real estate IRA, and who is better off leaving their money with Wall Street,” Geller said.

You can learn more about both the real estate IRA and 401K along with other important retirement strategies, and stay current with developments about these subjects with resources provided by Financial Success Institute.

Attorney General Coakley Sues Banks Over Foreclosures: McGeough Lamacchia Realty Issues Response

McGeough Lamacchia Realty issues a response to the lawsuit brought against five major banks by Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley for alleged illegal foreclosures and loan servicing practices.

McGeough Lamacchia Realty, the #1 Listing Agency in Massachusetts, issued the following statement in response to the lawsuit brought against five major banks by Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley for alleged illegal foreclosures and loan servicing practices:

“We’ve been saying this for years. Loan modifications have been the biggest creator of false hope by banks and the government since this foreclosure crisis began,” says John McGeough co-broker/owner of McGeough Lamacchia Realty.

Coakley announced Thursday she is suing five national banks, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, Citi, and Ally Financial (formerly GMAC), as well as Mortgage Electronic Registration System, Inc. (“MERS”) and its parent, MERSCORP Inc., in connection with their roles in allegedly pursuing illegal foreclosures on properties in Massachusetts as well as deceptive loan servicing including loan modifications. (Commonwealth of Massachusetts v. Bank of America N.A., 11-4363, Suffolk County Superior Court, Boston).

"The single most important thing we can do to return to a healthy economy is to address this foreclosure crisis," Coakley said in a statement Thursday.

Among other claims, Coakley alleges each of the Bank Defendants deceived Massachusetts borrowers about loan modification requirements resulting in increased and unnecessary defaults.

For instance, the lawsuit alleges the Bank Defendants deceived Massachusetts borrowers by informing them they must be over 60 days delinquent to get a loan modification, when the truth is that delinquency is not always required. In fact, if default is imminent, borrowers are supposed to be considered. Borrowers who otherwise may qualify for a loan modification were being improperly denied or dissuaded from applying.(1)

“I applaud the Massachusetts Attorney General for including these loan modification practices in their suit. We have seen hundreds of homeowners over the last three years stop paying their mortgage because they were told they had to be late in order to be considered for a loan modification. Then after waiting months, the loan modification was denied. By this time, they are at least six months behind with no possibility of catching up,” says Anthony Lamacchia, co-broker/owner of McGeough Lamacchia Realty.

Trial modifications were found to be deceptive as well. Prior to June 2010, Bank of America converted only approximately 30% of trial modifications to permanent modifications. Wells Fargo reported a similar conversion rate for the time period, while Citi and Chase hovered at approximately 40%.Borrowers were strung along in trial modifications for nine months or longer, subjecting them to plummeting credit scores and mounting delinquency amounts.(1)

The Bank Defendants' modification efforts have been so poor that, for the first quarter of 2011, the United States Treasury Department withheld payment of the HAMP (Home Affordable Modification Program) Servicer Incentives to Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo, noting they were in "need of substantial improvement." (1)

They have also been accused of writing loans and modifications they knew their clients could not afford and foreclosing on properties where they were not the mortgage creditor.(1)

“We have been saying all along that distressed homeowners want the truth more than anything. If they do not qualify for a long term loan modification they deserve to know and to know quickly so they have enough time to explore other foreclosure alternatives such as short sales which provide a graceful exit from a home if they are underwater and can no longer afford their home,” stated Lamacchia.
