Reporting to the European Support Manager, the Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for internal and external post-sales support. S/he will be the secondary contact for existing customers to maximize customer satisfaction and the primary contact for our customers in UK and Germany. Responsibilities
o	1st  tier DSL and network troubleshooting including outbound and follow-up phone calls
o	Handle incoming call escalations from restaurant partners promptly, courteously and with attention to detail
o	Work with the Customer Support team to escalate technical problems and enhance customer satisfaction
o	Configure and install replacement computer hardware at customer locations
o	Repair field hardware for re-deployment
o	Configure restaurant databases
o	Document all phone contacts in the internal CRM system and all email contacts in the email management tool
o	Act as a point of reference for internal staff for all customer support issues


Desired Experience
o	Must be bilingual English and German,
o	experience providing customer support services or Tier 1 technical support preferably in a software support environment
o	Knowledge of computers, all versions of Windows, TCP/IP networking, hardware maintenance and DSL (configuring routers)
o	Ability to work nights and/or weekends
o	Solid understanding of the internet (email, web browsers, TCP/IP)
o	Solid knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
o	Strong knowledge of networking, wiring, routers, modems 
o	Knowledge of broadband technologies (DSL and/or cable modems) and experience in dealing with ISP&amp;#x2019;s
o	Excellent customer service skills

The job
