Lost

2011-01-09T19:24:00.001-08:00

Here's something I wrote about Lost

Everything was normal...they were going to Los Angeles. This was a normal plane....Oceanic Flight 815. Everyone one boarded...everything fine. They were on the plane...most just, just sitting there. Then...the pilot's radio...they..,they lost, lost contact with....with, well everybody. They had to land...so they, they turned around to go to land in Fuji. They were flying there...but then....then the plane was shaking....everyone thought it was normal...but no, not normal. It started getting worse....more shaking...then, then there it was terrible. It was...insane...they were going down. People...people hitting the ceiling of the plane. They back of the plane...it just... broke off. How could they survive...they wouldn't, couldn't, survive. But no, no they survived...somehow...48 of them, together. Surviving the crash...that, that was just the beginning. 1,000 miles off-course...people were looking for them in the wrong place....lost......

Frodo and Sam Scene

2010-04-19T11:21:00.001-07:00

Here is a scene from Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Sam and Frodo.

FRODO:	I can’t! I can’t… I can’t manage the Ring Sam. It’s… it’s… such a weight to carry. It’s such a weight. (Frodo is gasping for breath. Sam removes his helmet and looks back at him.)
SAM:	(Pointing towards the mountain.) We’re going that way, straight as we can. There’s no point carrying anything we’re not sure to need.
They throw away all the Orc gear and camping gear. Sam is sitting shivering. Frodo sleeps. Sam looks up.
SAM:	Mr Frodo, look. (We can see a star peeping through the clouds.) There is light and beauty up there that no shadow can touch. (He turns to look at Frodo, who still sits with his eyes closed, twitching. The Eye of Sauron is roving over the land; they sit in a cleft in the rocks unseen.)
The scene changes to show Aragorn and the army closing up to the Black Gate. It changes back to Frodo desperately trying to get some water out of his water bottle. He is gasping and struggling. There is no water. He gives up. Sam comes over and offers his water bottle.
SAM:	Take mine. (He gives him the bottle.) There’s a few drops left.
Frodo drinks the last drops of water. There is a strange light in his eyes.
FRODO:	There will be none left for the return journey.
SAM:	I don’t think there will be a return journey Mr Frodo.
Frodo turns and looks at him. Sam grabs his hand and pulls him up. The scene changes to show the Gondorian soldiers arraying before the Black gate. Aragorn rides to the front of them with Gandalf and Legolas. The scene changes back to Frodo and Sam trudging along in Mordor. Frodo tries to ward off the Eye as he walks. Sam watches him. Frodo lifts his eyes and turns towards the Eye of Sauron. It is approaching them.
SAM:	Frodo, get down! (He dives down onto the ground. Frodo continues to turn and look towards the eye.) Hide!
Frodo sees the Eye, turns away from it and collapses down to the ground.
SAM:	Frodo!
Frodo lies on the ground, his eyes open, as the Eye of Sauron passes them by and moves on.

Gollum/Smeagol Scene

2010-03-16T10:02:00.000-07:00

Here is a scene from The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers, Gollum and Smeagol. Yes, Yes my precious.

GOLLUM: We wants it. We needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little Hobbitses. Wicked. Tricksy. False.

SMEAGOL: No. Not master.

GOLLUM: Yes, precious. False. They will cheat you, hurt you, lie!

SMEAGOL: Master's my friend.

GOLLUM: You don't have any friends. Nobody likes you.

SMEAGOL: (with his hands over his ears) Not listening. I'm not listening.

GOLLUM: You're a liar and a thief.

SMEAGOL: (shaking his head) No.

GOLLUM: Murderer.

SMEAGOL: Go away.

GOLLUM: (mockingly) Go away? (laughs)

SMEAGOL: I hate you. I hate you.

GOLLUM: Where would you be without me?
Gollum. Gollum.
I saved us. It was me. We survived because of me.

SMEAGOL: Not anymore.

GOLLUM: (shocked) What did you say?

SMEAGOL: Master looks after us now. We don't need you.

GOLLUM: What?

SMEAGOL: Leave now......and never come back.

GOLLUM: No.

SMEAGOL: Leave now and never come back.

Gollum growls and bears his teeth

SMEAGOL: Leave now and never come back!

There is silence and no response from Gollum

SMEAGOL: We told him to go away. And away he goes, precious. (he jumps and leaps about) Gone! Gone! Gone! Smeagol is free!
