It’s been almost three years. WOW!!!&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;To be honest, as time went by, it looked as though I would never return because I felt done with the whole weight loss motivation thing. I felt I had delivered every weight loss motivational idea I could think of. I also did not want so much of my online life to revolve solely around weight loss. Each new post in the last six months of posting here felt like I was pulling teeth. I knew I needed something else, but at the time I was not really sure what I needed. Sometimes in life you feel that something is missing but you just don’t know exactly what it is. You just know you’re feeling a sort of niggling discontent. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;I have discovered the major cause of this discontent was that I was not doing what I really wanted to do with this blog. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;I have discovered that my new goal for this blog is to create &lt;b&gt;empowering and inspirational content&amp;nbsp;ON ALL AREAS OF LIFE, not just weight loss&lt;/b&gt; because I have learned that it is not just what we eat and how we move our bodies that determines whether we’ll become overweight. There are many lifestyle factors, including stress, low self-esteem, not living our truth, people pleasing, etc, that will make us overeat for comfort. I want this blog to address some of these issues by offering engaging, enjoyable, interesting, easy to implement ideas and strategies that will inspire you to work out the kinks in your life so that you can also work off the extra weight on your body.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;We all carry unwanted ‘weight’ in many areas of our lives, whether it’s on our bodies, our romantic relationships, our jobs, our homes, our interactions &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;with friends and family, our negative thoughts about ourselves, our unwanted habits, etc. So henceforth I will be posting on all these areas in the hope that you, the readers of this blog, will see the revamped Motiveweight as a valuable and important resource companion on your journey to achieving many of your goals, desires and dreams and not only the weight loss ones.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;I have a YouTube channel now called&lt;a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQGmRS8DNcDVrAqsKHJYleg?view_as=subscriber" target="_blank"&gt; iiCANDii&amp;nbsp;Mind Gym&lt;/a&gt;. iiCANDii is an acronym for "Imagery for I Can Do It Inspiration". This is a message mainly for the people who followed MotiveWeight on Tumblr and are wondering why they can no longer gain access to it. Sadly, on Monday March 20th 2017, after six years of running Motiveweight.Tumblr.com, I had to shut it down because it was just taking too much of my time. I have new online projects that I want to implement and I could not do justice to them and give you the service on Tumblr that you were used to.   I may open up MotiveWeight on my own website one day because I still own the name MotiveWeight.com but right now I am focused on creating new work in other areas so I am not sure if and when I will ever start up Motiveweight.com again.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;/br&gt; Best wishes to all of you on Tumblr who have followed MotiveWeight and my other Tumblr blogs (beautifulpicturesofhealthyfood, fitnessgifs4u and positive-selftalk). I will be contacting some of you personally on Tumblr once I am sure of my new website set up. On day 1 I was only motivated to workout for 2 minutes (Yes, I know, sounds too little right?). But EVERY DAY thereafter I decided that my absolute minimum would be 2 minutes. No matter how demotivated I felt, I was determined to do my 2 minutes. &lt;b&gt;This goal was so small that it was almost impossible not to do it&lt;/b&gt;. By day 3 or 4 I had doubled it to 4 minutes. One week later I felt very comfortable to do 15 minutes, because it was beginning to feel like a HABIT. If on any day I did not feel like working out I would make myself do my minimum of two minutes. By week 2, I was doing 30-45 minutes EVERY DAY. Now it's over a month since I started this new way of staying motivated and I now workout for 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes daily (on my elliptical, spin bike, plus YouTube workout videos).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Working out daily has now become my habit&lt;/b&gt;, it would seem as strange to me to not work out as it would to not brush my teeth. If you find yourself saying "I will do my workout" and then find yourself procrastinating, but you really want to say "I DID my workout today" &lt;b&gt;consider starting off with a ridiculously short time of just two minutes&lt;/b&gt;, but make sure you do those two minutes EVERY DAY. Within a few weeks to a month you'll find this has become a habit that you'll enjoy and be proud of, which in turn will motivate you to want to exercise for even longer.&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

I have been thinking of not using the scale for quite some time and the words, "&lt;b&gt;if you don't like what you see in the mirror what difference does it make what the scale says&lt;/b&gt;" was the catalyst that will make me stop using the scales (at least for a while). It's true, why does the number matter? We all want to look better, feel better and be healthier...there are far better and more effective ways to measure these things than the scales....I think I'll make the month of May, &lt;b&gt;NO WEIGH MAY&lt;/b&gt;!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;
