&amp;nbsp;Questo il bozzetto di come ho immaginato la nuova MV Rivale di cui si vocifera in questi giorni. &lt;br /&gt;

"La Brutale Tre Pistoni tra poco tempo arriverà su strada e la Casa italiana, piuttosto che dormire sugli allori, si lancia su progetti futuri. In rete gira già il nome che identificherà il prossimo modello dell’azienda varesina, che qualche tempo fa ha registrato il nome: Rivale. &lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Rivale sarà presumibilmente destinata ad aprire un nuovo filone nella gamma di MV Agusta che fino ad oggi si è caratterizzata e distinta costruendo supersportive e naked esclusive ad alte prestazioni. E’ il mercato a chiederlo a gran voce, soprattutto perché i modelli venduti nelle ultime due stagioni ci parlano di una chiara inversione di tendenza: le sportive zoppicano, le nude non concedono molto a chi ama il turismo ed è sempre più il momento di cavalcare il concetto di moto trasversali. &amp;nbsp;La F800S, nel 2006 è stata a suo modo una moto di rottura per BMW, ha visto l'ingresso della casa bavarese nel segmento delle moto leggere, ha portato una nuova famiglia di motori bicilindrici paralleli e dal punto di vista tecnico portava con se parecchie "chicche". Da un annetto è uscita dai listini lasciando un certo spazio tra la sbarazzina R e la più turistica ST con cui condivideva gran parte della meccanica. Nel frattempo la comparsa della "cugina" F800GS ha sicuramente contribuito a diminuirne l'appeal.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Recentemente il bicilindrico parallelo è stato oggetto di un upgrade in collaborazione con Husqvarna, BMW potrebbe  montare l'unità che equipaggia la Nuda, cresciuta a 900cc, ed utilizzare il  telaio a traliccio della serie GS anzichè il doppio  trave della vecchia F800.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Di questa invece rimangono il bellissimo monobraccio con  trasmissione a cinghia, il serbatoio sotto la sella e l'impostazione  generale della moto che a giudicare dalle foto dei tester non ha bisogno di ulteriori interventi.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Il restyling, oltre al nuovo telaio, interessa soprattutto la parte  frontale che segue le linee della S1000 ed allunga la semicarena fin  sotto il radiatore e vede apparire due prese d'aria di sfogo sui lati.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Il marmittone che incorpora il catalizzatore anzichè cromato come sulla  vecchia F800 è ora rivestito in titanio. Il codino mantiene le  fiancatine originali ma vede spostarsi le frecce sul portatarga e  sparire il vecchio fanale rosso con uno nuovo a led rossi su vetro  bianco, come sulla S1000.&lt;br /&gt;

Come possiamo avvicinare i giovani di oggi alla moto?  L'economia ha un ruolo, senza dubbio, ma c'è qualcos'altro che manca, ... è l'emozione, quella sensazione di essere all’apice di una tecnologia in cui grandi cose stanno accadendo.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;  Sono stato affascinato dalla tecnologia tutta la mia vita, non solo dai motori e le macchine, ma, con il passare degli anni anche dall’elettronica e dai computer. Mi chiedo spesso però, se i computer fossero stati disponibili durante gli anni della mia formazione, come lo sono ora ad ogni bambino, quale tecnologia avrebbe vinto il “concorso” per la mia attenzione?(...)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Che cosa vuole un giovane ragazzo oggi? Una ragazza, un Xbox ed un iPhone. Beh, alcune cose non cambiano mai, ma le motociclette? Si contendono l'attenzione con una marea schiacciante di scelte, la moto non mi sembra sia più necessaria o intrigante come una volta e combinato con la recessione, un'intera generazione sta saltando gli anni dell’acquisto della loro prima moto, senza ne imparare a guidarla ne volerlo fare.   L'aumento dell'età media del pilota non è solo un problema per Harley, come molti sostengono spesso, la contrazione alla partecipazione alle gare e manifestazioni di settore, potrebbe invece essere un segnale di un cambiamento demografico e tecnologico.  I giovani non si affollano sui circuiti, non cercano di emulare i corridori dai grandi nomi (...). Fissando gli schermi dei loro cellulari, mandano sms e chiacchierano,(...) vagano con gli amici, con aria annoiata.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;E’ un pò che pensavo a questo argomento, da quando è apparso un articolo qualche mese fa che ha affrontato lo stesso problema, adottando una visione piuttosto pessimistica delle cose, chiedendo: "è finita l'era del Motociclismo?" L'autore sembra pensare di sì, ma io non sono un ragazzo pessimista, e stranamente, le stesse cose che contribuiscono alla mancanza di interesse per la moto tra i giovani potrebbero dare nuova linfa al settore, ma può richiedere un nuovo modo di pensare.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;  Gli attuali motociclisti possono sapere quello che vogliono e volerne sempre di più, anche se c'è n’è già più che a sufficienza per soddisfarli per gli anni a venire, ma se avete intenzione di attirare i 18enni,  l’eccitazione fisica che la moto può offrire non è sufficiente, è necessario mettere sul piatto l’high-tech. L'aspetto delle “app” per smartphone progettate specificamente per le moto potrebbe essere un piccolo passo, ma forse la moto elettrica ne è un altro.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Non importa se i figli del baby boom le vogliomo, queste offrono la possibilità di essere “smanettate” e “craccate” per ottenere maggiori prestazioni tutto controllando un computer. L'annuncio della scorsa settimana che la Honda sta entrando nelle corse per moto elettriche, attraverso la messa a punto della Mugen, potrebbe fare da trampolino in questa direzione, attirando appassionati più giovani di quelli di Superbike o MotoGP.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; Il punto è che chiunque abbia intenzione di rimanere a lungo termine in affari sul mercato della moto, anche dopo che tutta la nostra generazione avrà staccato l’ultimo assegno, è costretta a trovare qualcosa per attirare i più giovani. Serve qualcosa che agganci la moto alla rapida evoluzione tecnologica che ha già il loro interesse. Non si possono ignorare i mercati che già si hanno, ma i giovani non rispondono agli stessi segnali che hanno portato molti di noi in concessionaria anni fa. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Non so esattamente dove questo porterà o chi lo farà meglio, ma la direzione che si prospetta è quella di pensare “fuori dalla scatola”. Se si sente qualsiasi azienda dire che: lo stiamo facendo in questo modo perché abbiamo sempre fatto così, non è un buon segno. &amp;nbsp; Di solito non parlo di scooter, ma in questo caso non posso esimermi. Con una campagna pubblicitaria di assoluto livello (...e meno male visti i precedenti a dir poco imbarazzanti con la Valeriona) il marchio Lambretta viene rilanciato con un prodotto quantomeno degno del marchio che porta. Il design neo-classic, curato da Alessandro Tartarini, (...figlio di Leopolodo "Sciur" Italjet) riprende le linee della "Special" degli anni '60, con scocca portante in acciaio.&amp;nbsp; Due le motorizzazioni 4T, 125 e 151, allestimenti bicolore e dettagli curati ne fanno un must per i Moods del terzo millennio.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;La parte interessante della notizia è che la società Motom Electronic Group che possiede la licenza del marchio ha deciso di assemblare (produrre sarebbe un termine eccessivo) i nuovi modelli nella bassa bergamasca, per la precisione in Via Curlina a Ghisalba (BG).&lt;br /&gt;

Questo progetto non ha mai visto la luce, e visti i dati di vendita della Motò non stupisce.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Il concept però non è male, l'impostazione della mosizione di guida, il paramotore da "enduro" e le linee tonde che si inseguono fanno un certo effetto. Purtroppo la ricerca dell'assoluta pulizia formale da parte di Starck, che era tanto di moda negli anni '90, la fanno sembrare un pò troppo un giocattolo, e con un 1000 bicilindrico da 130cv non è necessariamente un valore aggiunto. Il serbatoio gobbuto ricorda il profilo del primo Monster di Galluzzi (in vendita dal 1993) e sarebbe stato gradevole per molti anni. Viste le proporzioni si può immaginare che il serbatoio sia sotto la sella (come le BMW della serie F650) a mantenere basso il baricentro e grande l'AIRBOX.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Cosa dire, è un altro esempio di un design troppo avanti per il periodo. Aggiornata nei componenti e nei colori non sfigurerebbe ai saloni di oggi...fa meditare.&lt;br /&gt;

Non solo "All Black" quindi in Nuova Zelanda, terra agli antipodi rispetto a noi, e curiosamente somigliante ad uno stivale pure lei...&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Iain Jerrett, il proprietario e realizzatore non è certo uno sbarbatello di primo pelo, elettronico e proprietario della Astara, una società di management e consulenza attiva nei settori: elettronica, dei servizi e delle telecomunicazioni, ha impiegato circa un anno per convertire la su Daytona in una EV.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Jerrett dichiara che la moto è ora più leggera di prima, grazie alla rimozione degli impianti necessari al funzionamento del motore tradizionale, ma tuttavia gli attuali 37Kw(50hp) e 130Nm di coppia non sono paragonabili ad i 78Kw(105hp) per 100Nm del motore originale. E' interessante notare che la coppia sia paragonabile, quindi la sensazione di spinta notevole, tuttavia la velocità massima si ferma a 160 Km/h contro gli oltre 250 della versione a motore.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Poco importa per Jerrett che dice: ""E 'una bomba da guidare. E' completamente differente, c'è un po 'di lamento e questo è tutto quello che senti, così quando si fanno i 120 ... tutto quello che senti è il rumore del vento. Non c'è altro suono e ci si sente come se si stesse andando molto più veloce. "&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;A me quella versione della Daytona è sempre piaciuta, a livello stilistico sono riusciti a mantenere inalterata la linea ed a quanto pare da guidare è rimasta divertente.&lt;br /&gt;

La "Juiced Drag Racing" a dispetto del nome antisonante è una squadra corse che si cimenta nei fine settimana nelle gare di accelerazione nella categoria elettriche. Marito e moglie vivono in California ed hanno all'attivo più di una conversione, l'ultima però è quella che concettualmente mi piace di più.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;La base di partenza è una paciosa CB750 del '78 che hanno recuperato già priva di parecchie parti che è stata prima convertita in elettrica e poi agghindata ad Endurance Racer anni '70.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Le prestazioni attuali di una moto elettrica non sono ancora paragonabili a quelle di una endotermica moderna, ma sono paragonabili a quelle di una moto d'epoca, per questo motivo l'accoppiata mi piace e l'antitesi che crea quest'oggetto mi ha colpito. Mi piacerebbe mettermi allungarmi sul serbatoio dietro il cupolone per vedere il tachimetro raggiungere in quasi silenzio la velocità di punta...poco importa se questa non supera il "TON", sono sempre più convito che siano le emozioni a fare la differenza.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Chiaramente negli Ststi Uniti dopo un accurato collaudo del corrispettivo locale del PRA è stata legalmente omologata senza ipotecare i reni dei proprietari...ma questa è un'altra storia. &lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp;Qualche tempo fa avevo ipotizzato il ripristino del nome "&lt;a href="http://lookathesign.blogspot.com/2010/10/preview-aprilia-tuareg-1200.html" target="_blank"&gt;Tuareg&lt;/a&gt;" ma probabilmente la prorietà (Piaggio/Fiat) non vuole fare confusione con la Volkswagen.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;La moto ha un non so che di già visto, le proporzioni sono molto simili a quelle del Multistrada 1200, il cupolone anche se bene fatto, è fin troppo simile a quello del recente restyling dello scooter SRV850...&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Sicuramente sarà una bomba, andrà fortissimo, terrà la strada e consumerà pure meno della concorrenza, ma riuscirà ad emozionare quanto la concorrenza?&lt;br /&gt;

La "Aprilia/Guzzi" ha presentato la propria interpretazione di scrambler ai suoi agenti qualche mese fa...in contemporanea con la Stucchi di Mandello del Lario stavamo ipotizzando un kit per "scramblerizzare" una V7 classic.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Quella che vedete qui sopra è una prima elaborazione che prevede interventi minimi.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Le marmitte fanno un "giro" asimmetrico e finiscono alte sul lato sinistro, lasciando libero il cardano sull'altro lato e andando a coprire il braccio sinistro, che a mio parere è il componente più "povero" della moto. Le ruote originali, calzate con pneumatici dal tassello moderato, le sospensioni posteriori, sostituite da due unità analoghe ma più lunghe e la forcella dotata di molle più dure definiscono il nuovo setup.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;I restanti componenti servono a completare il look anni '70, come il manubrio più largo, i soffietti sugli steli, gli spessori che sollevano il parafango anteriore, la griglia sul faro, il para motore alleggerito da fori ed il portapacchi cromato.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Certo se si trattasse di un modello di serie o una special, anziché di un kit aftermarket anche la sella andrebbe rivista per enfatizzare ulteriormente lo stile vintage della moto...ma si sa l'appetito vien mangiando.&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp;E' un pò che mi frulla in testa questa idea, una Guzzi neoclassica che potesse accontentare i pruriti di un motociclista di lungo corso.&lt;br /&gt;
Con questo non voglio dire che la serie V7 non sia adeguata, anzi, sono delle ottime moto che fanno della leggerezza e dell'immediatezza nella guida il loro punto forte.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;I miei pensieri sono mossi più che altro dal fatto che una ciclistica di impostazione troppo classica impedisce di utilizzare la moto con uno stile di guida più contemporaneo, per questo motivo ho ipotizzato di montare la carrozzeria della V7 Classic sul telaio/motore della Bellagio.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;A differenza della V7, questa monta il CARC, il monoammortizzatore, cerchi EXCEL calzati con gomme dalle misure "normali", doppio freno a disco all'anteriore ed un bel motore 2 valvole privo di radiatori nel più classico stile Guzzi. Questa unità da 940cc eroga 75cv, più che adeguati al tipo di moto, e garantisce una generosa coppia massima di 75.00Nm a garanzia di una guida gustosa.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp;In Harley Dadvidson che aspettano a capire il concetto? In Europa il fenomeno scrambler sta tornando di moda, moto divertenti, emozionali ma non per questo proibitive. Al Bike Expo è stata presentata anche questa, tra tutte quelle viste finora forse la più corretta, lo stile europeo è felicemente mescolato con quei dettagli Yankee che non tradiscono l'origine americana della moto...come lo scarico Supertrapp in da dirt track o le "frames" sul serbatoio. &amp;nbsp;C'è ancora chi sostiene che per andare in pista con una moto servano 130CV (come minimo), una carena integrale, le slick, le termocoperte ed il GPS collegato al Blackberry che tramite Wi Fi con la centralina della moto fa da telemetria e ti dice che:"se fossi un vero manico dovresti staccare 10 metri dopo quello che fai ed entrare in curva a 20km/h in più...." spesso succede di non essere un vero manico.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; Questo tizio invece ha risolto il problema partendo da una base di nobile stirpe ma di scarsa sportività per farsi una special tutto sommato sobria e togliersi più di uno sfizio. Partendo da un mille due valvole che non eccelle in HP ma è generosissimo di coppia, l'ha alleggerito di portapacchi, carene, valigie e tutto quanto non strettamente necessario (Alla nascita era una ST2) ha poi messo a punto la già ottima ciclistica con un mono Ohlins e due mezzi manubri sotto piastra. Il codino in stile vintage ed un faro Yamaha finiscono il progetto.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Che dire: base buona, pochi interventi e un pò di buon gusto...alla fine la ricetta casereccia è quella!&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp;Alla Mototech, ditta specializzata in sospensioni racing, hanno pensato bene di mettere a frutto l'esperienza maturata nelle corse per creare una versione carenata della Duke 690. La monocilindrica austriaca è già una moto molto divertente e prestazionale, ma con le opportune modifiche diventa un oggettino da pista che può regalare grandi soddisfazioni. (80cv per 130kg è un bel biglietto da visita)&lt;br /&gt;
Bella la carena integrale che riprende le linee della RC8, peccato per i faretti poliellissoidali che invecchiano un pò il tutto. Non so come la pensiate ma non avendo a disposizione il budget per andare a girare al Mugello o su altre piste da MotoGP, penso che questa moto sia il giocattolo perfetto per tutti i comuni mortali che in pista vanno "solo" a divertirsi.&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp;La casa varesina dopo il prototipo scrambler presentato all'EICMA ha tirato fuori dal cilindro questa "concept" talmente definita nei dettagli che lascia presagire un "time to market" decisamente breve. Monta il noto ed inossidabile mono 650 della Rotax opportunamente rivisto e "pompato" rispetto al corrispettivo della BMW GS 650. Le linee sono molto avveniristiche ma nel complesso gradevoli. Il faro tondo incastonato nel cupolino ricorda parecchio la milanese VUN, che tra l'altro monta lo stesso motore. &lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp;In un periodo in cui siamo tutti stressati, l'intento di mettere sul mercato una moto facile, e buona un pò per tutto è sicuramente azzeccata. La personalità non manca e quel non so chè di Scrambler comunica subito un gran senso di libertà.&lt;br /&gt;
