Dudes in dresses. Or maybe they are just skirts, or skorts? I think some call them kilts. Here's the deal, we already look ridiculous enough with our full body lycra skinsuits, our shaved legs, the long black socks with white shoes (reminds me of my Grandpa doing yardwork), our mismatched jersey designs meant to stand out from the crowd. I was a little hesitant at first. It's a fast ride and it's a drop ride. Thinking about it though, I know all the guys out there and wasn't really concerned with Gage getting dropped and lost. Enough of those guys are friends I didn't imagine he would get stuck out there on his own. But that's not what happened. Rode the new entrance to the connector for the first time. Awesome stuff. Also have grown to love the climbing on the White loop and the entire Orange loop. It's July, so you know what that means. Most of my spare time is taken up with watching the Tour. Yesterday she rode Rachael's Rigid 29er Singlespeed out at the Mesa, on trails that aren't beginner rated. I actually expected her to walk a lot more than she did but she rode a bunch of it just fine. And, let that be a lesson for you short people that think you can't go the way of the big wheel. She is 5'2" and handled the bike just fine.
