Well Mouseclone.com is down to 12 readers. I’m not really sure just who those 12 readers are. They all seem to be lurkers. To those readers I say, “Why don’t you just give up and quit as well.”

I mean really people. I don’t think that I have written anything of interest in a while. The only time someone comments on this blog is when I talk about how crappy I feel that our government is. The only person that comments then is Kevin. He feels that my views of loosing freedoms means that I should leave the country. Maybe he is the one that needs to leave the country so that he understands what freedoms are at stake here.

I mean really. Who reads this blog. If it was me, and I write for Mouseclone.com, I wouldn’t read the crap posted on here. It is pointless rhetoric that doesn’t mean very much in the short or long term. Me and my “little cause” that I seem hell bent on. They don’t really mean much. I live in my own little world with my on opinions. Everyone has opinions, not just me, so why are you reading?

I think I know why you are reading. You are reading because you are all spam bots waiting to jump on the next post and fill my comments up with spam. How nice of you. I hope that you bots know that I delete all of your spam. I think that people get enough in their mail boxes, both email and snail mail, and that they really do not need to see your crap here.

If there is anyone still reading this blog after this post I will be amazed. How little do I have to update to get people to stop reading? More than likely I would have to delete this blog to get people to stop reading it. Maybe I will get back to posting content worth reading.

There is one good thing about reading this blog. That is every Wednesday there is a new ASMW post up and some music for you to listen to. I think that is great. You can never have enough music in your life. So keep reading, at least on Wednesdays. That way you will have some music to listen to and maybe, just maybe buy.

CA handing out IOUs – And the US government?

I don’t know why this made the news. I saw it while I was at the bank today. People are making a very big deal over this and I’m not sure why. Let me go check something…

Ok I checked it out. So from what I gather the state of CA has had IOUs for a while now. With a 26 billion dollar debt, the state surely has not owed this money for just this year a lone.

It is really sad when all of the pork spending causes a shutdown in the government. A shutdown is very much what the governor did. Arnold is not signing anything unless it is needs to be unless it is better for the budget. He refuses to raise taxes again, as he had done so in Feb. of this year. I would have to commend him for that.

Raising taxes is not what needs to take place in any government. You hear that feds? Raising taxes is nothing more than helping elected offitials put more pork into the budgets. Hmmm… I wonder why the US has over a 3 trillion debt? Sending moneys into space to fuck must have coasted a lot, or I’m sure it is something else that is costing the country money.. LIKE THE WAR.

I mean what do these people think is going to happen when they take federal money and pump it back into the states to build a bridge? Or something else dumb. Lets the states handle what they need to and spend money how they see fit. If they don’t want to repair their interstates then no one will travel to their state. simple as that.

I really do not know if ever in my life time of 30 years if the US has ever operated in the black. As far as I know it as always been in the black. I don’t know how a business such as the government stays in business if they are spending the way that they do. Did a bunch of gold just pop up out of the ground or something? Where to they get the gold to back up all the money they print?

They don’t. That is why the US is not owned by the people anymore. It is owned by big business and banks. You know that lean on your car title? Yeah, you don’t really own that car, the bank does. The US government has been selling the citizens of this county to banks and big businesses for years.

Thanks for the fucking freedom assholes!

ASMW – Transformer

Ok so I went and watched the new Transformers movie just a little while ago. For name sake, and future, it was Transformers 2. I thought that it would be neat to see what turned up on Amie Street for Transformers. Well by the time I got to transforme the band Transformer was the only thing left. So they are this weeks ASMW.

Transformer is a disco sound. I would call it more of a techno blend to me, but then I wasn’t alive when disco was the in thing. I’m sure in some circles that disco is still hip. Transformer has a good beat to it though, and I’m not saying that disco is bad or dead. It seems to still be alive and well.

Could I dig this track? Sure could. I think that it would be a blast to crank this up and do about 120 MPH in downtown Atlanta traffic. It really does have a “i’m going to drive really fast and crazy” sound to it. Now do not go and do this and say, “Well Mouseclone said that it was ok”, because then I’m responsible for you doing it. (I wounder if that absolves me of responsibility)

So have a listen and judge for yourself. They only have the one song on Amie Street. Maybe if they get the song up to 98 cents then they will add some more. So here it is, the song and the remix.

Sinfest – A great Daily Comic

over the years I have been enjoying Sinfest. A co-worker got me started on it and I check it out about every 2 weeks. Sure I have 2 weeks worth of comics to read, but I have 2 weeks of comics to read! It is a great comic. You will need at least a slightly open mind to have a laugh. So it might not be fore everyone. This past weekend some friends and I went to Candler Park in Decatur, GA. We had a blast. Rusted Root put on a great show. While at the show I was able to get on Amie Street from my G1 and buy a copy of their album, Stereo Rodeo.

Cobalt sucks! Wootage, for getting the Mazda3 back!

yesterday i took the loaner in for an oil change and they told me that I would have to get a car from Enterprise Rentals. It really wasn’t a big deal until, well until I got in the car. The 2009 Cobalt sucks ass!

There is no center console to really speak of. There isn’t even an arm rest. How in the world can you not have an arm rest! What is the cost of that, an extra $100 or something? I would pay that much for as much time as I spend in the car. No wonder the Big 3 auto makers are hurting. If this is any display of what they offer in a car, then I don’t want to own one of them.

I know that it is small and petty. big deal no arm rest right? Wrong! I spend about 2+ hours in a car every day. If I spent more, I would spend more on my car, but I don’t. The Mazda3 was a great fit for me and the wife, though she didn’t want a manual transmission. The Cobalt, well to me feels like junk. The seats don’t hug at all, and you feel like you are sitting on a cheap couch.

So there you have it. I just really don’t like the Chevy Cobalt 2009 model. On the upside, I have only had to drive this car for one day. I was just called and told that my car would be ready this afternoon. Wootage! I get my Mazda3 back.

By the way, if you live in the Atlanta area, and need a Mazda, then get it at Jim Ellis Mazda. Why the ad? If you tell them that Mark Pipkin sent you, then I get a kick back. Not it is not special, it is something they do for all of their costumers who refer!

Prototype Final Review

After playing Prototype for the past week, the game came to a close.

The game was and still is a fun game to play. Even after taking down the end boss, I have gone back and I’m working on some of the side missions. They are still challenging and fun.

I am a little upset at the final fight though. I’m upset because it wasn’t a very have fight at all. I’m really kinda of shocked. I thought that after some of the other fights that I had in the game, that the end fight would take me a long time. That was not the case at all.

The story took many turns and twist. Some of them were shocking to me. Yet there where still a final twist at the end. The story was good. There are many games out there that do these types of stories, but this one was still different from the average, at least from what I had played.

So my final score for Prototype is going to be 4. I know I rated the game a 4.5 last week, but the final fight really killed it for me. Had it had been as hard as what I thought was the final fight, then I would have been more impressed.

If you are a die hard gamer, and are prone to beating games quickly, then you should rent this one. I’m not sure what my play time was, but even with all of that, I still took Friday and Saturday off from the game and didn’t pick it up. If you like the game then pick up a copy. It does have some replay value to it. You can always pick up the game at any time and run around killing things. Maybe some online play would have been neat with some co-op missions.

ASMW – Yeah Yeah Yeah by Mandy Lauderdale

I was looking around Amie Street for something new and I found it. I don’t have any of this style of music in my collection at all. I don’t know why, I do enjoy Jazz.

Mandy Lauderdale, not only is pleasing to look at, but she has a voice to go along with it. So after listening and buying the album, I went searching for more information about Mandy Lauderdale. It turns out that she puts on a great show as well. Below is the video that is on her website, I was able to locate it on YouTube. It looks like it would be a great show to go to and be entertained by. Maybe I will get lucky and get to see her if she ever makes it to Atlanta.

Now, this weeks song is Yeah Yeah Yeah by Mandy Lauderdale. It has nice punchy bass tones and what sounds like a slide guitar ( I could be wrong though ) in the intro. Then the horns come in, and it all just goes so well together. So have a listen, you might get hooked.

Game Review – [Prototype]

Where do I start with this game. In a simple word it Rocks. The missions are very fast paced. If you linger too long in an area, you could get swarmed. Not that being swarmed is bad, it just takes longer to get things killed when you are getting the shit beat out of you.

I have not beat the game yet though. I think that I’m on day 6, of what I can best tell there are 18 days, and maybe more. Each mission gets harder and harder as it should. You really have to work to get things killed.

The upgrades are nice. You don’t get everything at once, like in the opening scene and play. You will really need to learn how to move in your environment very well. I have a problem of holding down LT, which is used to target, way to much. It doesn’t help me move where I want to at times, but it is my own fault.

There is one thing that I do not like about the game play though. When in the middle of a heavy battle, it is hard at time to pick up some of the ground weapons. I remember telling my wife before dinner that I didn’t think that I would need such weapons. They are there for a reason, but I had trouble picking them up at time. So you might find yourself thinning out the crowd before being able to pick up a weapon and use it.

Prototype is a mix of CrackDown, Ninja Gaiden, and Assassin’s Creed. The gore in the game is good as well. The graphics are really a mix of all 3 games as well. the building remind me of Crackdown, the animation of the NPCs and of the main character that of Ninja Gaiden, while the shading of almost everything relates me back to Assassin’s Creed.

I’m happy with buying it, after only seeing an ad for it on YouTube (see ads do work). I checked out a few videos, saw a few friends playing it, and talked with the people at Game Stop. After all of that I bought the game. I even went into GameStop and walked out the first time. I just really have to want to buy a game to get it at the $60 price tag.

With all of that said I would give Prototype a 4.5 out of 5 right now. There is still a lot for me to discover about the game and I might even change my mind, but for right now the 4.5 sticks solid. If you are still wondering about the game, go rent it. I don’t think that it is a renter, but if you need to try before you buy, then go and rent the game and let me know what you think.

End of the Business

Well it has been one hell of a ride. A ride that I am happy to say that I’m done with. Places that I have to be are done and over with. I can go back to saying, “Hey, I don’t want to go and do that, I would like to do something else with my time.”

It is not that it was not all a pain in the ass. It is more so that the pain in the ass things that had to be done, over shadowed the enjoyment that could have been had while getting everything done.

The server work that I am doing, is almost complete, and should be complete tomorrow, or today, because it is Monday. So that is really done with just have to move the web and make sure that I have the last of the database updates done. I has been an experience none the less. I wish I would have had more time than I did. 2 weeks is just not enough time to make sure that everything is done the best that it could be done. I should say that the time I had in 2 week wasn’t enough, 2 week would have been plenty of time if the 4 servers were all that I had to do.

I do think that next weekend I will be headed to the father-in-law’s but it will be more for dinner and a movie with the family that it will be to get work done. I did have a great time at the lake, though it does seem to take a lot out of me. I really should get around to getting more exercise done.

I’m also down to 153lbs. I know it was 1.5 years ago that I was 175 and it is not a great amount to loose over that period of time. I have been doing it slowly. I didn’t want to drop 30lbs in a week. I thought that was very unhealthy. I also thought it better to work on my eating habits and I have been. I have also been working on cutting out High-fructose corn syrup out of my diet. It has help. I owe that to Dr. Wade Weldon.

The rest of this week I’m going to catch up on some things. Maybe by next week I will be back to blogging on a daily basis. Who know. I don’t think that anyone really reads this site but friends. I talk with them on a daily basis for the most part. Maybe I will get around to getting something worth reading up here.
