I had to see how you were. I am guilty of idealizing people…and second guessing my judgments..which I found myself doing with my memories of you.

Creating regrets that were untrue..and then I checked in..and you reminded me who you are..and I’m glad…I needed that reminder…

..you have not changed and it made me smile..it was like an affirmation and I feel stronger. I did it.  I made you a memory when I didn’t know I had it in me.
