Dynasty Warriors Online

Dynasty Warriors Online is the MMORPG version of the famous hack-and-slash console series. Like many Asian MMORPGs, DWO is set in the Three Kingdoms period, but this time players can jump straight into the action. Dynasty Warriors Online has fast-paced combat where players will be striking down hordes of enemies with every swing. Each weapon type has different stats, such as reach, power, and speed. Players must decide which weapons to use and upgrade. There is a ton of PvE and PvP content in the game, but like the console versions, battles themselves are instanced. Up to twenty-four users can take part in a battle, and each team must work together to capture bases and kill as many enemies as possible.

Factions - Wei, Shu, Wu

Game Modes:

Melee – 4v4 brawls that effect the ‘Melee’ score of each participant based on results. Melee matches earn Conflict points towards the winning team’s faction.
Showdown – The largest scale PvP battles. Two teams of up to 12 players fight it out to earn Conflict Points for their faction. Individual melee scores are not effected.
Campaign - Only open to players of rank Lt. Major or higher. One team must defend their faction’s control over a city while the opposing force must conquer it.
Mock Battle - A quick warm-up match. Fight with players from your own faction in battles of up to 4v4. Spectators are also allowed, but Mock Battle results don’t effect individual rankings.
Arena – Fight against players or rival factions without worrying about individual rankings. Conflict Points are still at stake.

The only bad thing is that the servers are based in North America until it is released in Australia.
Either way I still play it, the lag is not really that big. If you think you might start to play, my IGN is MrKnife.XY1 ( .XY1 is just the area ) I joined Wu and am still only a guard, soon to be the next level :)

Counter Strike

Heyyyy told ya I would do this post.

Anyway, I started off by playing CSS and naturally, I sucked, I got excited over every kill, especially the first one xD. I got into CS 1.6 about a month after CSS, for some reason I stuck to it because I felt I was getting better as I played, and it worked, I went back to CSS about a year later and found I was very accurate and a very good overall player. Back in CS 1.6 I used to play various gun game servers which improved me a lot, so many enemies around you makes your reaction time quite quick, as well as your aim. I went to surf later on, and am still only an amateur :) The main thing I stuck with when I went back to CSS was Bhop, I am still pretty good, I can do basically every map (If you are following my JRCK blog then eventually I'll upload some Bhop videos) at the moment. Well if you are wondering what maps I played the most, it was de_dust2 and cs_assault along with a little de_inferno here and there. If I have the time, I'll post some CSS or CS1.6 videos of me playing just so you can if I'm good or not xD

MY FAVOURITE GAME IS OUT SOON!!!

If you haven't played it before, here are some details about it...

Dynasty Warriors 7 (真・三國無双6 Shin Sangoku Musō Shikkuzu, known in Japan as Shin Sangoku Musou 6) is a hack and slash video game and the seventh official installment of the Dynasty Warriors series. It is currently being developed by Omega Force and published by Koei. The game has been confirmed to be PS3 exclusive in Japan. The story is based on Luo Guanzhong's historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The game was unveiled at the 2010 Tokyo Game Show. On October 26, it was revealed at the Koei Press Conference to have improved graphics and gameplay, with the support of stereoscopic 3D features and PlayStation Move support. Tecmo Koei has announced a North American release for March 22, 2011 and Europe for March 25, 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Dynasty Warriors 7 will be the first game in the series to extend past the Battle of Wuzhang Plains. Consequently, the Jin Kingdom will be added, bringing the total number of major factions to four.

This game's Musou mode will not be character based but kingdom based.

The Renbu combat system has been removed, replaced by a return to the familiar charge system, which allows players to end increasingly longer combos with a special move of varying effect, depending on the current tactical situation. Characters are also allowed to wield more than one weapon, with the ability to execute exclusive combos with their unique weapons. In addition, both aerial musou attacks and aerial combos are being introduced. The gameplay will still keep its unbreakable chain of attacks, and will not be limited; and you will still be able to adjust the camera angle.

Each character will have the ability to interchangeably wield two weapons at a time. It is also confirmed that some characters will have special abilities with some weapons indicated by the EX icon.

An additional mode known as Conquest Mode (Chronicle Mode for the Japanese version) has been incorporated into the game. This features free-roam-China and create-your-own-story story mode gameplay. It has been confirmed that the aforementioned mode will be available to "Other" characters in the kingdom, due to the fact that they have not been given their own story in Story Mode. It has also been recently revealed that Conquest Mode will feature both online and offline co-operative play.

The morale bar has been removed from the game; however, the morale system itself still remains and will be reflected from the messages of officers.

Some of the major battles will be split into two parts, so the player can have a different perspectives of the battle. One example would be in Shu's Changban stage — the first part concentrating on Zhao Yun and the second part on Zhang Fei.

Swimming and climbing ladders from Dynasty Warriors 6 have also been confirmed to return in Dynasty Warriors 7.

Unique Weapons are confirmed to return after being cut in Dynasty Warriors 6.

Support animals which aid you in battle are to be included in this installment — some will follow and battle with the player; some can be ridden. The confirmed animals so far are pandas and elephants.

Downloadable Content will be available. Content will include new weapons, stages and costumes and will feature the Dynasty Warriors 6 costumes for the characters who were present in that game.

Most of the characters from the previous Dynasty Warriors are coming back (eg. Jiang Wei :D)
Also, it has been confirmed that a new Kingdom is being released, it is called Jin. Jin has many characters that were usually NPC's.

Check out our picks for the best video games of 2010 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PC.

Picking only 10 games for this year was a difficult task. It is always tough to compile a list that is so subjective, but this year, with the incredible number of titles released, it was especially difficult, and several games that could justifiably be on this list or (at least the honorable mention) got bumped down for one reason or another. Also missing are expansion packs, such as World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, download-only games like Limbo and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, both of which could have made the list. Also missing are handheld games, because there are just too many differences, and it becomes like apples and oranges.
So below is out list of the best games of 2010. If you are looking to purchase a game this year, you won’t go wrong with one of the titles below. If you think we missed a title, sound off in the comments below, and give us your reasoning.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Ultimate EditionAmazon (PC, PS3, Xbox 360; Rated M; $39.99)

This is probably the most controversial of all the games on the list, not because it is a bad game, but many will think that there are better games out there. To be fair, the single-player campaign is fun but forgettable, and the first-person shooter style is not exactly unique. But the reason that this game made the list is for one simple fact, the multiplayer, which takes a proven formula and makes it even better.
Where other first-person shooters are all about the agro and adrenaline online, BFBC2 is all about teamwork. There is still a healthy dose of agro (especially in the more traditional deathmatches) and you can try to do everything solo, but the game is made to be played as a team, which is a refreshing change from the other online war games that dominate the charts. As a technical feat, the ability to destroy structures and use vehicles is also impressive. It is also nice to see a game that you can pick up anytime, and while you will have some rough games while you are learning what to do, even a beginner can have success online. So if you are looking for an online shooter that won’t make you scream obscenities every few minutes, then BFBC2 is the game for you. Medal of Honor uses the same engine online, but a flawed single player game will mean there are more people that remain loyal and play BFBC2 long after they trade MoH in.

Call of Duty: Black OpsAmazon (PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS; Rated M; Price varies by system)

Call of Duty is arguably the best title that will frustrate you like no other. It has its issues, but the annoyances of lag quickly give way to the thrill of a solid killstreak. The leveling should keep you entertained for awhile to come, and the online community will make sure that you can always find a game, and no two games are identical. Love it or hate it, the game is a must-have for shooter fans.
For every person that loves this series, there is another that bitterly hates it—and yet both will probably still be playing it online until the next Call of Duty title drops next year – when they will probably love the new game and yet hate it compared to this game. To be fair, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare set the bar so high, that many first-person shooters will be held to it for years to come. And while Black Ops may not be the same breakthrough game that its predecessor was, it is still a great game, and the most popular online shooter available on consoles.

God of War 3Amazon (PS3; Rated M; $59.99)

The God of War series had many people collecting their change for years to save up for a PS3 just to play this game, and it’s one of the best the PS3 has to offer. If it were released this year, the God of War Collection, which features both of the PS2 God of War games with shiny new HD graphics, might have bumped GoW3 simply because this is the continuation of the story, and you need to have played the first two in order to appreciate the plot.
But assuming you played the originals, the third game meets, and in some ways exceeds, all expectations. Besides offering fluid and well-honed controls, GoW3 is perhaps the best-looking game on the PS3. That is saying an awful lot, but the imaginative settings, the incredible details, and the scope make this an easy pick for one of the best games of 2010.

Halo: ReachAmazon (Xbox 360; Rated M; $59.99)

If this game were a TV show from the 80s, it would be The Incredible Hulk – specifically because of the scene at the end of each episode when Bruce Banner walked down a lonely highway with melancholy music playing until the credits rolled. Halo: Reach is the melancholy goodbye to the series from developer Bungie, which has drawn the Halo story to a close and moved on to other projects.
Although Halo: Reach is a prequel to the original trilogy, it is also the culmination of the work Bungie spent developing the series for over a decade. The gameplay is tight, and the multiplayer will have people coming back for years to come. It’s a must-have for Halo fans, and a solid end to the series from Bungie (although the franchise will continue under Microsoft).

Mass Effect 2Amazon (PC, Xbox 360, coming soon to PS3; Rated M; Price varies by system)

The only bad thing about Mass Effect 2 is that you should play through the original Mass Effect first. It isn’t necessary, and the first game isn’t bad by any means, but Mass Effect 2 will likely go down as one of the best games of this generation of consoles, and far overshadow its predecessor. The other thing that might turn people off from this game is the RPG style and its length. It can easily take upwards of 40 hours to make it through, and that is not including all the side quests and additional expansions that have been released.
Of course, that criticism is true of every game – if you don’t like the style you won’t like the game – but with Mass Effect 2, it is a real shame if people overlook the title because of past experiences with the genre. Although the game is currently only available for the Xbox 360, a PS3 version is due out in January and available for pre-order.

NBA2K11Amazon (PC, PS3, Xbox 360,

Wii, PS2, PSP; Rated E; Price varies by system)

While it would be easy to just claim that this game is on the list because a sports game needed to be represented, NBA2K11 earned its place. Featuring Michael Jordan and his career as a game mode adds something to the title, but even his Airness would have become just a gimmick if the gameplay weren’t up to the task. Thankfully it is, and NBA2K11 is one of the most intuitive and well-rounded sports games ever made.
When you add in the seriously deep features and options, NBA2K11 is not just a good game for sports fans, it has that rare ability to win over people who are not fans of the genre. You don’t need to know the names Kobe Bryant or Lebron James to pick a team and learn enough to have fun. It’s worth a look for all gamers, and a guaranteed hit for sporting fans.

Red Dead RedemptionAmazon (PS3, Xbox 360; Rated M; $59.99)

When the majority of the game-of-the-year awards begin to drop, expect this title to proudly sit on top of the majority of those lists. It already cleaned up at the SpikeTV Video Game Awards last week, and nobody was surprised to see the developers walk away with an armful of statues. Red Dead Redemption just clicks. From the stories, to the several expansion packs that continue to keep the title relevant, RDR is one of, if not the very best, game of the year.
Putting players in the role of John Marston, a former outlaw who is forced to hunt down his murderous ex-partner, RDR defies expectations at every turn. Marston may appear to be the typical spaghetti western hero, but he soon shows a depth of character that few video game characters can match. He is a fighter, a hero, sometimes a villain, and a family man, and the world he occupies is just as deep and well developed. When you add the online play, and expansions like the exceptional “Undead Nightmare,” as well as multiplayer, RDR is a game that belongs in every collection, and will be played for a long time to come.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VAmazon (PC; Rated E; $49.99)

If you have ever dreamed of taking a long dead-civilization like the Aztecs or the ancient Egyptians, then rewriting history and watching them spread out across the globe, Civilization V is the game for you. Civ V is one of those games that even casual gamers can suddenly find themselves lost for hours in. Even though this title is the fifth in the franchise, it is easy to pick the game up and enjoy, but it can take a long, long time to master. That is what makes this game a must have for most people, as it is something that will appeal to everyone.
Unlike real-time strategy games like StarCraft II, Civ V is a turn-based strategy game, which might make it a little more forgiving for players looking to jump online and try their hands against other players. The learning curve will still be steep, but unlike other games, at least you won’t jump online and be swarmed and killed within five minutes (looking at you StarCraft II, looking right at you). This game is deep enough that it might take months to see everything it has to offer.

StarCraft II: Wings of LibertyAmazon (PC; Rated T; $59.99)

People tend to either love StarCraft games, or hate them, there is very little middle ground. People who hate them tend to do so passionately, as do the people that love the games – just look at the South Koreans, who have built an industry around the game that includes nationally recognized leagues, televised tournaments, and even their own match fixing scandals. It is a big deal.
The newest entry in the series was over 10 years in the making, and while some fans initially criticized aspects that they did not like, most of those same fans are still playing online, and will continue to do so for years, literally. If you are new to the series, the cut scenes and storyline are enough to keep you interested, through the lengthy single-player campaign, and if you have the patience to survive the learning curve online, you can find something new with StarCraft II for years to come, making it one of the top PC games for the year.

Super Mario Galaxy 2Amazon (Wii; Rated E; $49.99)

If you own a Wii, buy this game. It really is that simple. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is not only one of the best Wii games made (and might be the best Wii game made), but it is arguably one of the best Nintendo games ever made, which is saying an awful lot about a company that has dominated the gaming market for 25 years.
You might think that Mario has hit his peak, and the best years of the plumber are behind him. Sure, the graphics are not as strong as some of those on the Wii’s competitors, but the game is simply fun, and wildly imaginative. Suitable for gamers of all ages, Super Mario Galaxy 2 game might be the only Wii title on the list, but it might also be the best game of the year.

Newest Games in 2011

It's true that some of the newest games in 2011 are going to out date your computer a lot, games such as Crysis are already more than most computers can take. The PC that I have which is severely outdated is coming to the end of it's life, it is more than 3 years old, it can hardly run games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare without crashing due to the High CPU usage. Most of the time the game freezes when there is a massive gun fight, suddenly it just freezes. These are just some of the symptoms of old PC's, some problems are from CPU, RAM, GPU(Graphics cards), and Mainboards(motherboards). Due to the new release of some of the games and new OS's most PC's now need to be updated every few months in order to be able to run these games and that's why you shouldn't wait a while before you upgrade.

We actually included this on our list of the Most Anticipated Movies of 2010, as it started development in late March 2009. Now that it’s in post, we can safely assume it will get a 2011 release. Based on the Hunter S. Thompson novel of the same name, this adventure follows Johnny Depp as a journalist who travels to Puerto Rico to write for The San Juan Star. He eventually gets hooked on drinking rum and becomes obsessed with a woman played by Amber Heard.

16. Green Lantern

The Green Hornet comes out in January, a month riddled with notoriously bad movies, so of the two “Green” superheroes, we’re siding with Green Lantern. Seems like every time you have movies closely mirroring each other – even on the most simplistic level (in this case, superheroes and the color green). Lantern has a more conventional superhero blockbuster aesthetic with Ryan Reynolds and his superheroic physique combined with a summer release some six months after people hopefully for Lantern.

This is very dear and personal project for screenwriter and actor Jason Segel who co-wrote the movie with Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek director Nick Stoller.

1. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

It is finally within our grasps, the game that people have been talking about for years. The sequel to the game which has won many game awards, including Game of the year. Skyrim, the home of the Nords will be the setting for the new Elder Scrolls. Hopefully it will be jammed packed full of snow and fantastic mountain scenery. Not much info yet, but we do have a solid release date – 11.11.11 – weird release date (don’t know if it has something to do with Remembrance Day).

2. Crysis 2

Crysis 2, A Sci-Fi first person shooter game developed by Crytek, is one of the most anticipated games for 2010/2011. Crysis 2 would be the first game to use game engine 3. Not to forget its predecessor, Crysis, that came up with bench-mark setting graphics and excellent game play. Crysis 2 is set in Newyork City, where players are enabled to navigate between floors and building structures, as well as destroy the cityscape. Witnessing creepiness and horrible things that had happened to Newyork city. Nomad is the main character of the game; a super soldier with enhanced combat skills and fascinating tools. Crysis 2 is equipped with freedom of large number of choices including the usage of multiple power modes simultaneously and more tactical warfare, upgraded weapons. The nanosuit has been redesigned to Nanosuit 2; which is the best technological milestone of the mankind with exhilarating new features.

The storyline is still not disclosed. Hoping the story is in continuation from the original game. The developers claim that the new game will come up with catastrophically beautiful graphics. Crysis 2 will run more efficiently then the original game, easily accommodating to lower end computers.

3. Diablo 3

Blizzard has announced to release Diablo 3 next year. Diablo3 is another themed action role playing game which is sequel to the original game Diablo released in 1997. The game is set in the world of sanctuary, a world of dark fantasy which was saved years ago by the unnamed heroes in Diablo 2. The players from the Diablo 2 returns to Sanctuary to confront evil in its many forms. Diablo 3 is the best example of real playing game. Like its predecessor, the player takes the control of a heroic battle to get rid of the world of Diablo the lord of terror engaging in combat with hordes of monsters and challenging bosses. Game has an epic storyline where player gets to journey through different levels ultimately confronting the Diablo.

You can choose character classes and manage variety of spells and equipments. Players will also have the opportunity to explore familiar setting such as Tristram. Players will also encounter several new characters as well as a number of characters from the previous games including Deckard Cain. Like Diablo 2 multiplayers can play the game using Blizzard’s Battle.net service with exciting newly added features. Until now four of the five classes have been unveiled: the Barbarian, the Witch Doctor, the Wizard and the Monk.

New feature that have been unveiled includes: picking up the gold rather than just touching it, unique health orbs that drop from the enemy, several changes to the quick bar buttons and function keys, Skill Runes; another new skill modifying feature , numerous new spells, pick the desired gender. Diablo 3 is powered by custom 3D game engine; giving a view similar to isometric view used in previous games. Built in a unique 3D environment with exclusive death animations. Diablo 3 engine would be incorporated with Havok physics and features; destructible environment with an in-game damage effects.

4. Test drive Unlimited 2

Test drive Unlimited 2 is sequel to test drive unlimited. It is a massively open online racing game where players can get online and share their racing thirst with rest of the world. It blends the experience of single and multi-player racing, creating a world of racing challenges. Up to 8 players can join the session at a time which further spice up the racing experience. The game is set in the Mediterranean island of Ibiza with over 2,000 miles of roadway and back roads. The game includes new vehicles with massive customization, striking locations.

TDU2 will also offer free downloadable content DLC for vehicle packs, clothe packs, furniture pack and much more. You will be able to customize your avatar looks, pick different club logo, and furnish your home. New racing tricks and stunts further add value to the game. Hitman 5 is to be released by the end of 2010 or the beginning of 2011, taking agent 47 in whole new direction. Also news came via page 17 of an Edios report claiming that the new Hitman 5 is in development. Hitman 5 is the fifth installment in the Hitman game series. It has been confirmed by the IO Community Manager that the game will not follow a story based on the movie.

7. Mass Effect 3

According to the project director Casey Hudson Mass Effect 3 is in its early stages of development. However, it has been confirmed that game is to be announced by late 2011. Casey Hudson latest interview with MTV revealed certain details about the upcoming Mass effect 3. The game is supposed to have an epic conclusion, which is overwhelming. Hudson also told MTV that there are about 1000 variables that are already lined up for variations in the new chapter. After quantifying the variables in the story line, Hudson has exaggerated the pre release hype for the game. Putting a huge divergence in the final chapter of trilogy would be a remarkable thing to do, from which we can sense more twist in the upcoming game.

So far revealed, the game is expected to have Richer RPG features, more combat options and more complex enemies. The developers seriously need to work at RPG features and combats as they weren’t very appealing in the ME2. We can expect that ME3 to be an excellent role playing experience, something that was quite missing in the Mass Effect 2.

8. Max Payne 3

Rock star games, which are famous for the max Payne, midnight club and grand theft auto are going to release Max Payne 3 in 2011. The game is sequel to Max Payne a shooter video game which was released in the year 2001. A reason of fame for this game is the bullet time mode where the bullet time is slowed down to such an extent that it could be seen with naked eye.

Storyline: Max Payne 3 begins with a new chapter of Max Payne, a New York City police officer who is now 12 years older and he has left NYPD, the guy is shown in new attire where he is bald and he has grown beard. The game will be plotted in Brazil where Max is working for a private security company.

9. Portal 2

We all have fond memories of Portal, whether they are of extreme happiness after completing a level or punching your computer screen because you kept on failing.I use the word memories because I have never went back to portal after completing it because I knew what to do on every level. But now that Portal 2 is coming out, I can’t wait to fill my mind with new memories! With more puzzles, more levels and more hilarious voice acting it sure will shape up to be a great game.

10. Star Wars the Old Republic

One of the best RPG’s that I have ever played is now going MMO. Many people are calling it the ‘WoW Killer’ and with the exceptional work gone into Biowares other games like The Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect it’s hard to see how anything can go wrong. The unique and expansive world of Star Wars is a great gaming environment as we have seen in other attempts to successfully make a good Star Wars MMO. Star Wars Galaxies was the last Star Wars MMO but it failed because of poor player support.

But Bioware, as we all know do have some MMO experience, like Warhammer online, which did have its flaws but was a really great game in my eyes. Bioware are experts in incorporating in depth and enthralling character conversations into their games which is something they have put into Star Wars the Old Republic. The game is due for release in Q1/Q2 of 2011.

Plot

In 2003 Erica Albright breaks up with Harvard University student Mark Zuckerberg. Back at his dorm, Mark writes a scathing blog entry about her, and in his drunken rage, creates a website that rates the attractiveness of female students when compared to each other. He hacks into the databases of various residence halls, downloads pictures and names of female students and, in a few hours, using an algorithm for ranking chess players supplied by his best friend, Eduardo Saverin, he creates a website called "FaceMash", where male students can choose which of two girls presented at a time is more attractive. Mark receives six months of academic probation after the traffic to the site brings down parts of Harvard's network, and becomes vilified among most of Harvard's female community. However, "FaceMash"'s popularity and its one night creation, while drunk, brings him to the attention of Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, identical twins and members of Harvard's rowing team, and their business partner Divya Narendra. As a result, he gains a job working for the Winklevoss twins as the programmer of their website, Harvard Connection.

Soon afterward, Mark approaches Eduardo and tells him of his idea for what he calls "Thefacebook", an online social networking website exclusive to Harvard University students. He explains this would let people share personal and social information securely. Eduardo agrees to help Mark, providing $1,000 to help start the site. They distribute the link to Eduardo's connections at the Phoenix S-K final club, and it quickly becomes popular throughout the student body. When they learn of Thefacebook, the Winklevoss twins and Narendra believe Zuckerberg had stolen their idea while stalling on their website. Tyler and Divya want to sue Mark for intellectual property theft, but Cameron convinces them they can settle the matter as "Harvard gentlemen" without the courts.

At a visiting lecture by Bill Gates, fellow Harvard University student Christy Lee introduces herself and her best friend Alice Cantwel to Eduardo and Mark. She asks the boys "Facebook us"; their use of this phrase impresses both of them. Christy invites them to a bar where Mark runs into Erica who is not aware of The Facebook because she is not a Harvard University student. Mark decides to expand the site to more schools. As The Facebook grows in popularity, they expand to other schools in the Northeastern United States, while the Winklevoss twins and Narendra become angrier at seeing "their idea" advance without them. Cameron refuses to sue them, instead accusing Mark of violating the Harvard student Code of Conduct. Through their father's connections they arrange a meeting with Harvard President Larry Summers, who is dismissive and sees no potential value in either a disciplinary action or in Thefacebook website itself.

Through Christy, now Eduardo's girlfriend, Eduardo and Mark arrange a meeting with Napster co-founder Sean Parker. When Christy, Mark, and Eduardo meet Sean, Eduardo becomes skeptical noting Sean's problematic personal and professional history. Christy thinks Eduardo is jealous of Sean, and attempts to calm him to avoid a scene. Sean presents a vision for Facebook similar to Mark's and impresses him. In a parting comment, Sean suggests they drop "The" from Thefacebook.

At Sean's suggestion, Mark moves the company to Palo Alto, while Eduardo remains in New York seeking advertising support. Meanwhile in England, while competing in the Henley Royal Regatta for Harvard, the Winklevoss twins discover Facebook has expanded to a number of universities there. Cameron finally relents and they decide to sue. When Eduardo visits from New York, he is angered to find Sean is living at the house they have rented and is making business decisions for Facebook. After arguing with Mark, Eduardo freezes the company's bank account and returns to New York. Upon returning, Christy argues with Eduardo about his Facebook profile, which still lists him as "single". When Christy questions Eduardo about why he has not changed his Facebook profile, he tells her he does not know how to, further infuriating Christy because she believes he is lying. She cites his profile as evidence he cheated on her with promiscuous women in Silicon Valley and subsequently sets fire to a scarf he has given to her as a gift. While Eduardo extinguishes the fire, Mark reveals on the phone that they have secured money from an angel investor through Parker's contacts. As a result of Christy's arson attempt, Eduardo ends his relationship with her.

Eduardo soon discovers the deal he signed with Sean's investors has allowed them to dilute his share of the company from thirty-four percent to three hundredths of a percent, while maintaining the ownership percentage of all other parties. He confronts Mark and announces his intention to sue him. Later that night, during a party celebrating Facebook's 1 millionth member, Sean and a number of Facebook interns are arrested for possession of cocaine.

The framing device throughout the film shows Mark testifying in depositions in two lawsuits: one filed by the Winklevoss twins, and the other filed by Eduardo. In the final scene a junior lawyer for the defense informs Mark they will be settling with Eduardo, since the sordid details of Facebook's founding and Mark's personality will make a jury highly unsympathetic. The film ends with Mark sending a friend request to Erica on Facebook, and refreshing the page every few seconds waiting for a response.
